Calling this a hotel is a joke!!! A dump with no service is more accurate. I was forced to book a room there for two nights. NEVER AGAIN!!! The building is showing its age and is being renovated. But please no hammering on a Sunday evening at 9 p.m. All the room doors are probably warped, so you'll hear a slam. In my shower, when I pressed the shampoo dispenser, the entire holder came crashing down. And all that for €82!!! Oh yeah, there's no breakfast either. Not even coffee.

We were surprised to be the only guests on a Saturday evening. We had appetizers: the Goethe schnitzel and the grilled vegetables with feta. Everything was very well prepared and delicious, the good wine selection was also perfect, and the service was excellent. I can only urge the Oberräder to give this restaurant a chance!

The Felsenkeller is truly a special place. The atmosphere is rustic, cozy, and unique—perfect for spending a few pleasant hours. The food is excellent, prepared with love and regionally inspired. The specialties from the kitchen are a particular highlight! The service is warm and attentive, making you feel immediately welcome. A great place to enjoy good food and socializing. Highly recommended!

Hello, we were here at the restaurant after a funeral. There were two soups to choose from, both delicious, but the fact that we had to order bread separately was rather odd. A small basket of bread was also brought. We ordered coffee with the cake, which arrived black without even asking if we needed milk. The milk delivery also took a while, and we had to ask again. The staff seemed untrained. It's a shame.

Spent 3 days of vacation here with my family as foreigners and may I say how much we loved it ,starting from the hospitality of the staff, the amazing food, not to forget the really lovely setting of the hotel, restaurant and the restaurant’s yard area. We happened to be there on a Friday night also, where the staff apparently does grill cooking every week! If I ever will visit Frankfurt again, I will SURELY come back here🙌🏼

We were there for a barbecue. There were many different types of meat, and all of them were delicious. My favorites, however, were the Brazilian lemonade and the crème Catalana.

Traditional house with a beautiful summer garden, right by the forest. It has been family-run since February. One star deducted, drinks and food took a while to arrive, which could be improved. Bread and olive oil could be provided for those who are hungry. Super friendly, very attentive service. Special requests were no problem. The food was really good! Definitely try the restaurant. It's a bit hidden, and it would be a shame if the owners didn't respect you.

The hotel offers excellent value for money. We ate in the restaurant in the evening – the food was delicious! The smoked ribeye and ceviche were particularly tasty. The garden is also a lovely place to sit. I'd be happy to come back.

Hello, we used to eat at your restaurant quite often. It was always good. We wanted to try again recently, but unfortunately it was completely empty inside and in the beer garden too, even though the weather was beautiful. This irritated us, so we moved on. We also found the beer garden poorly decorated, or rather not decorated at all, with chairs scattered about - a shame, such a beautiful place would certainly be more comfortable with a bit of decoration. And unfortunately, there is no website to be found, and the old tenant couple is still on Facebook. These are things that should be maintained, campaigns on Facebook, perhaps asparagus week, game week... modern media offers so many possibilities. I wish you the best of luck! I'll be back again in the next few weeks.

We were here for lunch. The owners have recently changed. Attentive service. Prices normal. There is a star deduction because the asparagus was not completely peeled. But should be improved.

Mr. Braun really knows his craft and is a very, very good cook! The restaurant is very well run and beautifully decorated, and the outdoor dining area is very, very nice in summer. We visited the restaurant and had an excellent meal. The interior is getting old and the atmosphere could be improved. But the food and service are very good. Here we still cook without bags. Fantastic. Since you're a little away from the crowd, you're more likely to go there specifically. There are great promotions, such as during the barbecue season. You should definitely have noticed it. I can't say anything about the hotel.

We were here for dinner. There is a rich menu, fish, meat, vegetarian. Wild weeks are currently underway. Deer and wild boar roast. We recommend. The service is very nice and friendly. The hotel with restaurant is quietly located right on the edge of the forest.

I celebrated my birthday there and I was just thrilled, everything went well, the organization, the service, the grill buffet was fantastic, the food was super tasty. Thank you Braun family for a great celebration.

Wir waren nur zum Mittagessen hier. Ein sehr schönes Restaurant und vor allem auch samstags Mittags offen. Das haben viele Restaurants nicht. Nicht jeder kann abends essen gehen, weil man es nicht so gut verträgt. Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Ambiente des Restaurants hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen. Das ist auch immer sehr wichtig, daß man sich wohlfühlt. Alles in allem zu empfehlen.

Wie seit vielen Jahren konstant sehr gute Küche mit abwechslungsreichen Köstlichkeiten in einem gepflegten und familiär-freundlichen Ambiente. Immer gerne wieder.

Habe vor 18 Jahren dort fast 2 Jahre den Dauergast gemacht. Die Kochkunst und der freundliche Service war auch jetzt wieder am Sonntag gegenwärtig. Vielen Dank an Frau Braun und ihr exzellentes Team.

Eines der wenigen verbliebenen Frankfurter Restaurants mit guter deutscher Küche, schön eingedeckten Tischen, freundlichem Service und vernünftigem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das etwas abseits, aber schön am Waldrand gelegene Restaurant ist ein sehr angenehmer Ort für ein schmackhaftes Essen in ruhiger Umgebung (auf der Terasse sind die Flugzeuge natürlich nicht zu überhören). Die Qualität des Essens ist gut - und konstant, das ist in der Franfurter Gastronomie nicht mehr selbstverständlich.

Haben drei große Feiern hier gehabt und sind immer toll bedient worden. Das Essen war durchweg sehr gut. Lachs, Rumpsteak und Gänse-Rollbraten. Fein gedeckt und dekoriert. Sehr gemütlich.

wir hatten reserviert und vorbestellt zum Gaenseessen. Vorweg gab es Brot und Kraueterquark als Gruß aus der Kueche. Es gibt eine gute Weinkarte mit ueberwiegend regionalen Weinen Die Karte ist auch sonst ausreichend und fuer jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden. Zwei von der Gruppe haben Steak gegessen, der Rest Gans, es gabe Brust und Keule, dazu Maroni, Karoffelkloesse und Rotkohl Der Service war wirklich sehr gut, die Bestellungen wurden zuegig aufgenommen, das Essen kam alles zusammen auf den Tisch Das Fleisch schmeckte hervorragend, wirklich die beste Gans die ich je gegessen habe, knusprige Haut butterzartes Fleisch. Hier wurde wirklich auf einem hohen Niveau gekocht, winzige Kleinigkeiten ueber die man geteilter Meinung sein kann. Mir waren die Kloesse ein wenig zu fest gerollt, und der Rotkohl schmeckte stark nach Nelken und Zimt, aber das ist wirklich „meckern auf hohem Niveau“ und auch immer eine Geschmacksfrage. Beilagen konnten nachgereicht werden. Mir wurde auf Wunsch auch der Rest zum mitnehmen eingepackt. Auch das bezahlen ging reibungslos ohne Fehler und zuegig ueber die Buehne Insgesamt alles sehr empfehlenswert, ein Gastronomiebetrieb der einen rundum gelungenen Kundenservice anbietet.

Man sollte sich nicht von dem sehr hohen Durchschnittsalter der Gäste täuschen lassen. Hier wird richtig leckeres Essen serviert und zwar neben mehr als ordentlicher Hausmannskost auch durchaus Kreatives, das es zu entdecken gilt. Direkt am Stadtwald gelegen kann man bei schönem Wetter auch im Garten sitzen, das Ambiente im Innenraum ist gemütlich, wenn auch etwas altmodisch. Einfach mal testen und sich wundern, wie gut Oberräder Küche sein kann!

Die Lage: Im Stadtteil Oberrath, direkt am Waldrand. Wenig Parkmöglichkeiten am Abend. Familienrestaurant mit Biergarten. Service: Freundlich, kompetent. Speisen und Getränke: Deutsche Küche, deutsche Weine.

Hier freut sich die Gans wenn sie auf dem Teller liegt. Ist nicht umsonst gestorben, sondern erfreut das Herz des hungrigen Essers. Wenn mir die Knödel besser geschmeckt hätten, dann würde ich sagen : Besser geht nicht. Aber das ist mein persönlicher Eindruck. Jemand anders ist vielleicht von den Knödeln total begeistert. Trotzdem großes Lob an die Küche und die Weinempfehlung dazu.

Wir sind oft da und immer ist das Essen vorzüglich. Die Portionen sind recht großzügig, die Preise absolut passend, manches fast ein Schnäppchen für diese Qualität. Im Sommer ein schöner Garten am Waldrand. Service ohne Schnickschnack, freundlich und natürlich.

Wir gehen oft mit unserer Tochter und dem Enkel hier zum Essen und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Hervorragende heimische Küche (die Grüne Soße ist natürlich in ihrem Ursprungsort entsprechend köstlich) mit großer Abwechslung. Im Sommer draußen zu sitzen ist ein Idyll, da ruhig direkt am Waldrand (und Friedhof) gelegen.
