A restaurant in the middle of the forest. Ideal for hikes, togetherness in a cozy atmosphere. The chef and his team are very committed. We go there often to enjoy normal food at a high level. After Corona, the restaurant is only open on weekends and certain dates. It is advisable to reserve in advance.

You don't need what isn't there. Especially not if you've been hiking or cycling and just want to enjoy nature, normal people and food. ATTENTION Opening times are quite individual. Always check the homepage. Never rely on Google MyBusiness opening hours.

It's not every day that you come to this somewhat remote restaurant. But the food and service are always worth the trip. Good home cooking paired with very good service. The atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned but cozy. Overall recommended!

Wir sind super begeistert! Das Essen wurde frisch zubereitet und war genau so, wie man es in solch einer Location erwartet ☺️ Lecker und bodenständig. Auch kleine Änderungen waren kein Problem. Das Personal mega freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder 👍🏻 Weiter so und Daumen hoch!!!!!

Marburger Str. 7The best restaurant for fine home cooking in Siegerland. In my opinion, Gasthaus Klein is the best restaurant for fine home cooking in Siegerland. The prices are a bit more expensive, but you get really large portions and they pay great attention to regionality. Therefore, I find the prices completely reasonable and am happy to pay. Eggs and meat are sourced from local farmers, and game is sourced from local hunters and is only available at certain times of the year. Therefore, the restaurant has a changing menu, depending on what is currently available. So far, I've only eaten things that I would describe as fantastic. The service is great; everyone is very friendly and attentive. I love coming here; it's one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Siegerland. A clear recommendation for anyone who loves delicious home cooking.

Lahnstraße 52-54I ate a kebab here, and unfortunately, it was so disgusting that I threw it away after eating half of it. The meat was cold and hadn't been cut from the skewer, but had been stored separately somewhere. The whole kebab tasted musty, as if the salad, etc., had gone bad. I've lost my appetite for kebabs for now and won't be going to this place again. Very sad.

Lahnstraße 2I was there today and wanted to order something... but after I saw the older lady with shoulder-length blonde hair (I'll call her Ms. Werewolf) humiliating the other waitress with long, blonde-gray hair in front of the customers, I left. As for the situation... shift change and the cash register was acting up, the nice lady told Ms. Werewolf that she was overwhelmed (understandably) and went into the kitchen. Ms. Werewolf immediately turned to the customer standing at the counter and said, "You always are!" (referring to the overwhelmedness). Why do people treat colleagues like that, especially in front of the customers??? The nice lady hadn't done anything wrong!
