The Waldbühne is a popular meeting place for Sunday jazz events and serves as a beer garden.

Except for the cleanliness of the restrooms in the evenings - I can't judge them during the day - this place is highly recommended.

The staff is certainly trying hard but is completely understaffed.

Historic premises on the edge of the Bürgerpark. Packed with old metal advertising signs from all over the world. On Sundays, a morning pint in the beer garden is available.

€5.80 for a Haake Beck beer No wonder the store was so empty. Many former great restaurants will be closing their doors.

We tried the homemade sheet cake today, and it was delicious and moist. It came with a cappuccino and herbal tea, which was even Ayurvedic. The fact that the cake was so delicious and the tea was well-chosen is a big plus, and hence the 5 stars. The service was also very friendly. Update: My partner and I ordered hot chocolate (e.g., cocoa) and apple pie, but the hot chocolate didn't taste particularly good, and the apple pie was unfortunately rather mediocre. For that, we're deducting 1-2 stars!

The service is very good, but the location is a bit dated. I can't comment on the food, as we were invited to a wedding reception and an outside caterer provided the food.

For years, I've enjoyed coming here every summer. I'm often out and about in the Bürgerpark, and it's almost inevitable that I'll pass by. It's very inviting in the hot summer, with the shade of the old trees. A wonderful atmosphere, a wonderful old tobacco advertising building. Very friendly service, and you can even treat yourself to a bite to eat here. Drinking a freshly tapped Haake beer outside under the tree is a dream 🌳🍺☀️

I celebrated my big birthday at the Waldbühne and was thrilled. The location is brilliantly located on the edge of the Bürgerpark, easy to reach and very quiet in the evenings. The atmosphere inside is consistently impressive and ideal for parties with up to 80 people. The room layout is ideal as the room never seems empty. The decoration does the rest. The food was excellent, I had the Italian buffet and received consistently positive feedback from my 70 guests. The same applies to the location and also to the service, which was consistently described as very attentive and on the ball. I would celebrate at the Waldbühne again at any time. One of the most beautiful rooms for private celebrations in Bremen.

Great location in the northern Bürgerpark

On a beautiful, sunny but cold Sunday afternoon, while walking through the Bürgerpark, we drank a mulled wine to warm up at the mulled wine stand, it was very fun there.

The most beautiful beer garden in Bremen with the tastiest bratwurst!

This is one of the most beautiful places in Bremen to hear good jazz in a really nice atmosphere. Such places must be preserved.

Food was definitely frozen, schnitzel and also the fish. But we enjoyed it. Unfortunately, there were 3 fruit flies served in the fruit glass, which was quite severe. The glass was complained about and exchanged, but it seemed to us as if only the flies had been fished out. Then everyone paid and left. I don't think the store is doing particularly well financially...

I have been enjoying the atmosphere of the Waldbühne for 40 years. Finally something is unchanged that is simply cult. Only the "tablecloths" don't fit the ambience at all. Then it's better without it.

Unfortunately, a very unpleasant experience! When you make a legitimate complaint and are told by two employees in the presence of other guests that you are the only one/the first guest who didn't like it, it feels quite strange.

Good East Frisian tea, the pretzel stick was also quite good, but the coffee still has room for improvement

Actually, it's a great place. We were very happy with the atmosphere and the friendly nature of the woman taking the order. But when we arrived, we greeted the gentleman who was collecting the tables and he didn't even look at us. This greeting was a greeting that everyone could hear. That's why I gave it 4 stars. The fact that my wife wears a hijab should not change people's attitudes.

There was a delicious bratwurst and beer. Always worth a visit. In summer there is live music on the small stage at lunchtime

Very nice to sit outside. However, unlike all other beer gardens, card payment is not possible here. It's a shame that I'm not given the choice of how I want to pay. It's really annoying that I have to go to the ATM just because of that. 🤦

Stopped for a little refreshment while on a bike tour. The food will be reviewed next time. It certainly wasn't the last visit.

Cozy and pleasant place in the middle of the park. Pleasant service and good food and drink. The only negative is that they don't take credit cards! It takes 30-40 minutes to go round trip to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash.

Knipp and fried potatoes served cold, impossible. Fried herring with patina, non-payment accepted. If a nice Kräusen beer is enough, you've come to the right place.

The atmosphere is very nice, located in the park. The service has deteriorated significantly. We waited three quarters of an hour for our cappuccino. We didn't get a pretzel or pretzel stick even after an hour. We then paid for the cappuccino and left. We were very disappointed.

Good Morning Unfortunately, there's still no service for 15 minutes. It's a shame that used to be much better than it is today. That's why I'm going to have a good time somewhere else.

There's something about live music while enjoying a beer. Nice ambience.

A rustic restaurant in the middle of Bremen's Bürgerpark. With a beer garden and a clear menu. Friendly service. Interesting metal advertising boards from times long past. Our food was very tasty. Not suitable for disabled people, apart from the beer garden. The photos show the farmer's breakfast, salad plate with chicken strips and a salmon plate.

A nice location to relax with a cool drink. You can also eat a variety of things here such as salad, pasta, fried potatoes with schnitzel, ice cream or even homemade cake. The service is nice and the prices are fair. At the same time, the Bürgerpark offers a corresponding level of peace and quiet. Bands also play here on some days. Definitely worth recommending.

The Waldbühne is located in Bürgerpark. In summer, this restaurant offers live concerts of various kinds every Sunday. There is a beer stand, pretzels and delicious bratwurst. Nice for a morning pint with family or friends. I can't judge the sauces in the restaurant because we haven't eaten there yet, so only 3 stars

In winter, cozy jazz nights once a month and in summers, the beergarden in sundays! Waldbuhne is kind of ritual for us. But I wonder why you do not serve pommes :( at least in the beergarden.

Today I went on a bike ride with my little daughter to the Waldbühne and sat down near the children's playground for this purpose. A little less than half of the tables there were occupied. After waiting for some time and no service came, I got up and went to a waiter and asked very politely if I could order something. His short answer was “No,” to which I turned around and left. He whispered to me that a colleague would be coming soon. I then waited at the table for another 20 minutes in vain for my colleague and then left without ordering, which is why the food cannot be judged. Apparently closed due to wealth.

The Waldbühne is cult, cozy and unique.

It's actually unbelievable what happened to me today. I made another stop at the Waldbühne in the beautiful spring weather. Then, as always, I easily ordered a wheat beer from the boss and sat in the sun in joyful anticipation. Everything was good. And then the experience was over for me. An unfriendly employee immediately verbally abused me because I apparently hadn't parked my bike properly. "After all, there are rules!" As a customer, I don't want to be treated like a king, but I also don't want to be treated like dirt. There were only 3 tables occupied outside. My bike definitely didn't hinder anyone. Anyone who treats their “guests” like this doesn’t deserve any at all. I really feel sorry for the boss because he was always correct towards us and was up for a joke. Be careful when choosing personnel. It's really a shame about the location, but we're taking a break again at another house in the forest...

Season begins April-May with Irish folk music. Our grandfather Ottomar H came to Bremen from Wilhelmshaven in 1902 and bought a house at Bürgerpark. This is a hidden gem of Bremen located in a beautiful park with beautiful walking trails. The service is great and the atmosphere is always great. It is a must see if you are visiting and has a very local feel. Indoor and outdoor seating make this place perfect.

We really liked this interesting old place. The food was simple but very well cooked, the price was reasonable - what else do you need to have a great dinner?

Great location in the Bürgerpark. The large pavilion with a central section is made of wood. Good food and a large selection of drinks. Friendly service indoors and outdoors.

Die Waldbühne ist ein wundervoll und detailverliebt eingerichtetes Lokal, man kann an jeder Ecke etwas entdecken oder sich einfach nur am Gesamtbild erfreuen. Die Gastgeber waren durchweg sehr freundlich und lustig und trotz einiger Arbeit immer sehr schnell, manchmal schneller als man seinen eigenen Wunsch erfassen konnte. Wir hatten einen ganz großartigen Abend, vielen Dank dafür!

Schöne Atmosphäre, nette Bedienung.

Wir haben am vergangenen Samstag einen 60. Geburtstag dort gefeiert und haben uns mega wohlgefühlt. Vor allem der Service war eine 1 +! Vielen Dank dafür.

Top-Location, besonders für kleine Feiern bis ca. 100/115 Personen. Das Essen war hervorragend und toller Service.

Eine historische Stätte, seit gefühlten Ewigkeiten ein Treffpunkt für ein herrliches Bier und kleine Snacks, mitten im Bremer Stadtpark. Der schönste Pavillon den man je gesehen hat, mit einem herrlichen Außenbereich mit ganz vielen Tischen unter den schönsten Eichen Bremens. An Wochenenden spielt zum Frühschoppen meistens eine Live-Jazband und vertreibt die müden Geister. Eine Reservierung ist nicht erforderlich. Es stehen wenige Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Idealerweise mit dem Fahrrad besuchen!

Wir haben hier in geschlossener Gesellschaft einen runden Geburtstag gefeiert. Es ist echt urig und gemütlich hier. Der Service war klasse. Wie das Essen a la carte ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Das Buffet, welches wir genießen durften war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Ganz lieben Dank dafür.

Die Tatsache, dass hier ab und an Live-Musikveranstaltungen stattfinden, macht diesen Ort zu etwas Besonderem. Der Biergarten in der Waldbühne ist gut gelegen, was ihn zu einem idealen Ort für einen entspannten Snack oder ein kühles Getränk nach einem Spaziergang im Park macht. Die Kombination au Essen und Getränken inmitten der Natur macht den Aufenthalt hier besonders angenehm. Auch für Kaffeeliebhaber ist die Waldbühne eine gute Wahl. Es gibt nichts Schöneres, als bei einer Tasse Kaffee die umliegende Natur zu bewundern und die frische Luft zu genießen.

Die Waldbühne im Bürger Park in Bremen ist einfach großartig! Das Lokal bietet eine wunderschöne Umgebung, einen tollen Biergarten und eine äußerst freundliche Bedienung. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und genießt die Natur des Parks. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
