The events, especially the music, are unfortunately too loud and sometimes last until between 4 and 5 in the morning. Nobody pays any attention to the residential area behind because everyone thinks they are in the forest.

Früher ein Ausflugsziel, heute eher eine PartyLocation. Gemütlich, urig, mitten im Wald. Anstieg eher steil; zur Not kommt man aber auch per Auto/Taxi dorthin.

We had a wonderful evening. The restaurant is very cozy and beautifully decorated. There's nothing modern about it. All we can say is: the food is excellent. Schnitzel with a twist, and soooo delicious. Quality 👍. The server (an older lady) was very nice and friendly and managed everything on a Saturday evening by herself. Wonderful! She certainly deserves more pay for everything she did. You also get three dishes before the main meal at no extra cost. Everything is reasonably priced and affordable. We'll definitely be back.

Vellinghausen 2My husband and I ate at your place yesterday, October 14th. I had the pepper steak cooked rare, and it was perfect, cooked to perfection. A big thank you to the chef who made it. In my 65 years, I've never eaten such a tender and delicious steak. Top-notch!
