Simply delicious, traditional dishes with an extra twist

We spent a weekend with several adults and children in one of the larger holiday homes with multiple bedrooms. The farm is fantastic: lots of different animals (cows, ponies, horses, sheep, a llama, a miniature pig, and the farm dog Frida), plus a large playground. The kids were able to go on a short "horseback ride" at short notice, with the horses led by their parents. For adults, there's a very nice and modern wellness area with a sauna, infrared loungers, and a relaxation area that can be reserved for exclusive use. There's also a small workout room (free of charge) with a treadmill, cross trainer, and exercise bike. On-site, there's a high-quality restaurant with delicious food (reservations recommended). Coffee and cake are also served in the afternoons on weekends. You can also order food delivery. The beautiful Hennesee lake is not far away and is perfect for a day trip. The boat trip is highly recommended, especially during Advent, as there's even a small Christmas market on board. There's also a separate "Xavers Ranch" dock, which is currently (December) closed due to low water levels. All the staff at the ranch were friendly, and we'd love to come back – perhaps in the summer when the swimming pond is open ;)

Small, simple menu but delicious food. The service was super friendly. We ate there a few times during our vacation.
