The restaurant was closed and the reservation was accepted. We go to the restaurant and we have to find another place to have dinner.

HANDS OFF. Worst sushi ever. I thought the quality was required for the 63 euro sushi plate for two. Unfortunately, a massive disappointment that I would like to spare you. I'm never going there again. 20 minutes wait for the drinks. When we said that the food, which we had eaten elsewhere, didn't taste good, the waitress just said, "I'll pass it on to the kitchen". Terrible. Never again!

They don't know how to serve as they didn't give us half the material to eat, the food arrives late, raw food and paid more than 100 euros really don't go there it's really 1 star

I was there yesterday. In general it was great, the service was professional, the price was reasonable, the best sushi in Munich, the waiter was extremely friendly. I'll be back soon.

Unkempt in the outdoor area, food was ok, but not well balanced, dried beef instead of fresh in the papaya salad.

We were at “Wa” for the first time today and unfortunately it will be our only visit. The lighting (or lighting planning) is uncomfortable and much too dark. It doesn't help that a spotlight is shining directly in your face. The food (tapas, sushi and main course) was way too expensive for what we got. I'm happy to spend money on delicious food, so the steep price hurt today. Our waiter was friendly, but the wait was just too long. All in all not recommended. A pity.

Wanted a quick non-carb bite, ate the sashimi with salmon and tuna and the tenderloin skewer and it was absolutely fantastic. Meat and Fish very fresh.

Were regulars...to date...6 guests in the restaurant...one order didn't come...one was mixed up.....sushi and sashimi...especially tuna of poor quality.. We won't be back...what a shame!

Wow - such a beautiful restaurant where everything is just right. The service is incredibly nice, you want to order up and down from the menu (we chose the caramelized eggplant and sushi, then we had the perfectly grilled duck breast and excellent salmon) and the decor is also very pleasant. We'll be happy to come back - thank you for the lovely evening!

From the first step into the restaurant to the farewell, everything was excellent. We were absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food tasted heavenly. A little tip: Don't leave the restaurant without trying the panna cotta! We would like to thank the employees very much!

Unfortunately, I can't understand the many good reviews here. We were almost the only guests that evening, which seemed a bit eerie. The food, especially the fish in the sushi, was not fresh, the wasabi was dried and had fingerprints on it... Not recommended!

Overall, a somewhat mixed experience - with good to very good Asian tapas, a surprisingly generous (small) sashimi platter without fault (which was, however, a bit carelessly prepared) and a rather disappointing ramen. The service was attentive and very friendly, but overall seemed slightly overwhelmed. One would expect - even with tapas and sushi - that two guests receive their food at least around the same time (and of course that nothing is forgotten). But what really made the reviewer's mouth turn down: There was no beer! This doesn't seem to be a fundamental decision here, because it was shown on the menu - but, sorry, in a Munich restaurant there should probably be a backup in case the dispensing system doesn't work! Dear people, beer is also available in bottles, and there is also so-called 'weiss beer' (which didn't even appear on the menu). If, as an alternative, there are two open red wines, of which the more expensive one is just OK. was, it's probably more for abstainers (which in itself shouldn't be criticized, but then you'd have to announce it that way). On the positive side, we even managed to get a table on Saturday evening with a very short-term reservation! The restaurant was well attended.

More pretense than reality... the sashimi and nigiri were good, the other dishes such as tempura or crunchy rolls were unfortunately not so good. The service was understaffed, which is why everything took a long time and guests sometimes had to wait over 20 minutes at the entrance. The ambience is basically modern, but not really inviting and very dark. Overall, too expensive for the experience.

Unfortunately disappointing. The restaurant would like to be fancy, but it doesn't do it justice. We waited 1.5 hours for our food, which wasn't as exciting as expected. Other tables had a similar situation. Half of the restaurant is in the dark. I would have expected more for the money

We came with high expectations based on the great reviews and online presentation. When we arrived there were only three tables occupied (Saturday evening), the radio was playing and the atmosphere was strangely subdued and there was whispering at the tables. There was not very appetizing, completely dried out fish in the display. We ordered an aperol spritz and ordered a few appetizers. The spritz was totally watered down and we didn't like the starters at all. However, the service was very nice and attentive. We then left and were totally disappointed...

We had a great place with great service. The food (mainly) sushi was very, very good. The cocktails were also great. Would love to come back.

The food was excellent. We have had sashimi, gyoza, ebi tempura, rolls and duck curry. Crème Brûlée for dessert was absolutely delicious. Service is quick and competent. We recommend.

We’re on vacation here from Texas. Absolutely delicious food, ambience was great, and service was amazing. For starters, we had the Calamari, Edamame, and the Gyoza and they were all amazing. The calamari was my personal favorite. The Ponzu sauce with the gyoza was also so gone. For main courses, we had the Filet Robata, Hot Tuna Roll, and SurfnTurf Roll all so good, can’t go wrong with any of them. Definitely recommend eating here.

Sehr gutes Sushi und super Service.

Interessante Cross-Over Küche mit vietnamesischen und japanischen Einflüssen. Edamame und Ente waren sehr gut. Die Gyōza haben mich nicht so überzeugt. Das Tori Karaage - auf der Karte kurioserweise „karage“ geschrieben, war ausgezeichnet und würde auch in Japan eine gute Figur machen.

Das Wa serviert sehr kreatives und unheimlich leckeres Essen. Und auch der Service ist super zuvorkommend. Besonders die asiatischen Tapas sind unglaublich lecker - aber auch das Sushi ist fantastisch. Auf keinen Fall dürft ihr euch die Aubergine mit Benito-Flocken entgehen lassen.

Super lecker Sushi, aber auch WOK Gerichte und viel vegetarische Optionen. Sehr hohe Qualität an Fisch und Produkten generell.

Der Service war super und die Bedienungen sehr sehr freundlich! Das Ambiente sehr einladend und das Essen eine Sensation. Ich esse sehr gerne Sushi, wobei hier einem sehr viel geboten wird!

Wir waren mit Freunden da und sind leider alle 4 enttäuscht gewesen. Uns hat weder das Ambiente (schlechte Beleuchtung) noch der Service und das Essen begeistert. Wir hatten uns aufgrund der guten Bewertungen etwas besonderes erwartet, was wir leider nicht gefunden haben. Die Tapas waren nicht gut gewürzt und das Fleisch war zäh. Am besten hat uns noch der Salat geschmeckt. Schade, es wird bei einem einmaligen Besuch bleiben!

I went twice in the last month: while I found sushi really excellent I found the meat (steak and duck) dishes pretty ordinary. The Vermentino wine is also excellent.

Grundsätzlich hat es uns im Wa gut gefallen. Das Ambiente ist okay, auch wenn die Wände doch sehr kahl sind, der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, auch wenn mir das Sushi als Vorspeise „verwehrt“ wurde - bitte als Hauptgericht bestellen. Unsere Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte waren dann wirklich gut, auch das Sushi war ausgefallen und schmackhaft - was nicht passt, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Mini-Lachsstückchen, das als Hauptgang für 20,- Euro serviert wurde, der Spezi mit 3,50 Euro für ein 0,2er Fläschchen, die Weinpreise, die drei (guten!) Mochi-Eiskugeln für knapp 9 Euro - es tut mir leid, aber da ist der Bogen überspannt.

Sehr gute Sushi, die Wa Couple Platte ist empfehlenswert. Alles andere ist eine Stufe weniger gut … sei es nun Gyoza oder Yakitori. Schön eingerichtet, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Allerdings langsam, da eine Mitarbeiterin den ganzen Laden zu bewältigen hatte.

I would definitely say this place serves one of the best sushi qualities for its prices. Still, ofc, a bit pricy but definitely worth the try. I went there only because i was desperately craving for the tuna belly- met my expectations! The other menus were good but somehow 2% missing. The service was pretty good but a bit slow. The atmosphere was really nice both inside and outside. Would love to visit once more!

Das Essen war sehr lecker, und auch der Service sehr bemüht. Die Lichtverhältnisse und somit das Ambiente sind leider unterirdisch und ziehen das eigentlich tolle Küchenkonzept komplett in den Keller.
