Very small, but delicious shop! It definitely tastes different than a classic döner kebab, which is fine. Prices are reasonable. The shop is small, but that's just splitting hairs. Great place!

Vöner is simply the benchmark for vegan döner in Germany. I've been eating there for almost 13 years. When I was studying in Berlin, I was there all the time. Since then, I've been trying to find a good Vöner here in Hamburg, but nothing compares. I definitely noticed that they used to put a lot more seitan in it. The place isn't exactly clean. It's not dirty, but it's really not clean. And the ventilation isn't great either. Despite that, the Vöner is a 10/10, and the staff is super nice and friendly.

The range of kebabs and durums they have is extensive. The vegan döner is exquisite. The special fries are a delicacy. The waiter is charming.

Tense staff boarder line rude lady as a welcome who is very unfriendly I have to say portions are large but I definitely got food poisoning as it was the only thing I had over 24 hrs and am sick as a dog at the moment 6 hours later

Once you bite into it, you won't want to let it go: a unique taste, incredibly delicious. Add to that the friendly service and fair prices. The restaurant is small but perfectly formed. Definitely worth trying!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The vegetables were tasteless, the seitan meat tasted almost like nothing, and the sauces could have been more powerful... Still, it's nice that everything is vegan.

I was very disappointed. From the uninspired vegetable selection (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions) to the sloppy seitan, to a spicy sauce that wasn't spicy at all, and a herb sauce that lacked flavor, it was an experience that left a lot to be desired. The rather high price spoils any remaining appetite. Even €2.50 for a measly portion of (vegan) ayran doesn't help much. Still, 2 stars instead of one for the vegan option 🌱

Super delicious Dürüm Vöner – priced perfectly – just the right amount for my taste, with very fresh vegetables and a delicious sauce.

I always loved going to Vöner—the taste, the atmosphere, everything was top-notch. But yesterday I was really shocked by what I had on my plate for the price. The ratio just wasn't right anymore. Please adjust the size again; otherwise, it's unfortunately no fun.

The food, although delicious in appearance gave both my wife and I food poisoning. I'm not sure what was happening, but we both fell violently ill after our lunch here.

Excellent vegan Döner! I prefer the kebab sandwich variant over the durum wrap, as I found it too dry for me personally, but loved all the fillings nonetheless. Lovely staff and atmosphere too!

Vöner in Friedrichshain offers seitan-based burgers and doner kebabs. The burgers are delicious, and the doner kebabs are reasonably priced. The sauces deviate from the typical taste of a classic doner kebab, which fits the concept but isn't for everyone. Overall, a good place for anyone who likes seitan and is looking for a meat-free alternative.

Unfortunately, I personally didn't really like the doner kebab. The currywurst didn't really convince me either. On the other hand, the brownie was really delicious.

I haven't had any other Döner so I didn't know what to expect. I thought it was a bit boring, the veggies was just lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and onion. I was not a huge fan but I can't tell if it is my personal taste or the restaurants fault.

We wanted to have döner while we were in Germany, but being vegan, it was a little more difficult to find. Doing some research, found this place and we loved it. I recommend the kebab!

The best vegan döner kebab I've ever eaten.

We were recommended this place from a couple of vegetarians. We are flexitarians, but we enjoy trying vegan dishes or common meals reinterpreted as vegan. The vegan kebaps sandwiches were good, the staff polite and the place is nice, although I recommend keeping a more thorough cleaning during summer because the tables were a little sticky.

I had lunch there, and it seriously disappointed my expectations! Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

Unfortunately, my first and last visit was years ago, and that was because I lost a bet!😂 I actually think about the surprisingly delicious vöner quite often and I'm really looking forward to finally being back and being able to eat one. And also thank you to the very nice service!

Really very tasty food that is hearty but exceptionally good in taste and quality. The restaurant itself isn't that eye-catching, it could use some renovation, which is why it's not that inviting to sit inside for a long time, it smells a lot of frying fat, the service is perfectly fine but not exceptional

Feel free to look for delicious alternatives without meat. In terms of taste, it doesn't compare to a steak kebab. For a rotisserie kebab at any time 😃 Very tasty, I'll be back, also because of the great selection of sauces.

Definitely a must for me when I'm in the area! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is alternative, as are the lovely people who smile and provide you with food. Payment is only made in cash (!) and before what is ordered is prepared. Some things (e.g. brownies and drinks) are then simply self-service. My two (usually picky) kids are also thrilled with the homemade fries and the Vöner and finally wanted to buy a Vöner pin (1€) to promote the Vöner snack bar at school. Let's see whether word of mouth actually makes it successfully into Steglitz schools. In any case, I would really appreciate it if there was a branch in the west of the city - even if I would then probably become chubby and dirt poor... 🤤 Addendum: I was there again recently and ate my fill... and then discovered a vegan ice cream parlor across the street while rolling home. Dessert is always possible, right? Definitely recommended! The total taste explosion! #GreenScoopVegan 😘

We just ate at Vöner, and we were not disappointed. I had a delicious Vöner kebab with plenty of filling and a delicious sauce. The bread was warm and nice and crispy. A real treat and definitely recommended. My colleagues also had a kebab and a dürüm and were also very satisfied, and we were all full.

It's sometimes a problem with the staff, but we still like to stop by every leap year, it's definitely a black pearl of the store.

Good Vöner and nice team but unfortunately only cash payment

Had the classic Döner. Honestly pretty disappointing, it looked more like a sandwich (bread, salad, cucumber, onion and tomato) with seitan meat and some sauce rather than an actual Döner. The sauce Tahini Garlic is so mild and liquid. The seitan disappointed me as well, somehow it doesn't go so well with the bread, maybe the seasoning was just not right or not like how they normally season Döner meat. So overall a lackluster meal for 8 euros! Not trying to be offensive because I am a vegetarian and hardcore fan of vegetarian Döner and falafel stuff. But you will enjoy a falafel bröt more than this. I hope they will improve the recipe!!!

Cash only Edit: The service has deteriorated significantly; at peak times you often wait for over 30 minutes, although there is no real rush 2nd edit: Portions (except the Vöner) have become so small that it can only be an appetizer at most. A truly pleasant experience! The staff were extremely welcoming and kind, making me feel at ease straight away. The vegan kebab was delicious, full of flavor and carefully prepared. A place that I absolutely recommend to anyone looking for good food and a warm and friendly atmosphere!

The kebab, currywurst and fries are delicious. You don't necessarily notice that it's vegan. Tasty, but the flavors are a bit weak, unexciting. Big portions and nice staff! Can recommend it. Especially if you are vegan.

Never experienced such unfriendly service. I can really understand that you are drained and tired in the evening, but nobody deserves such unfriendly service. There is no effort being made to be somewhat friendly. We first had to get a brief overview of the dishes. Then ordered in a completely normal tone with please and thank you. The waitress only answers succinctly, boredly and in short words. She was too good even for complete sentences. Someone like that doesn't belong in the restaurant industry. It was a lady with pink hair. You should consider whether she is in the right place for this job. The kebab is absolutely nothing special, there are certainly better options elsewhere. But it's still fresh and edible. We come from MV and don't have such a large selection of Vöner here and yet I've eaten much better here. In Berlin, this Vöner with the bad service and only okay taste actually no longer has any right.

As a Hamburg resident who often visits Berlin, I came across this shop while looking for a vegan kebab. What can I say? Great store with super friendly staff. Not arrogant, not cocky, super authentic and also queer-friendly (I can say from experience that this is not the case everywhere)! And the vegan kebab? Hands down the best I've ever eaten. And I ate a few, including in Berlin. Oh yes, they don't accept cards here, which is actually normal in Berlin if you don't eat out at any fast food chains or incredibly expensive restaurants. I would therefore generally advise everyone to always have cash with them in Berlin. I will definitely come back.

When I'm in Berlin it's a must go there for me. It's something different than the typical vegetarian kebab you know. Simply tastes good and super nice staff!

The meal today made me really happy.🥲 a bit sad because unfortunately we live so far away and won't be able to enjoy it in the future. The Wagenburger Spezial was my favorite but also the Vöner, the Currywurst fries and the crunchy Burger Burger were simply delicious 🥰 it was a celebration for me 🙌🏻

Place specializing in self-produced kebabs served in the classic roll, sandwich or plate format. Excellent choice of fresh vegetables and sauces, I would recommend a proportionally greater quantity of kebab inside the sandwiches and an extra boost to the yogurt sauce. Service a little cold.

Best vegetarian kebab in Friedrichshain, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff!! The only downside: the clothes and hair smell really bad after the visit... maybe they could improve it with good ventilation or air conditioning...

the Vöner tasted terribly. go somewhere else and just get some halloumi or falafel and you‘ll be way better off

This was my first time in Vöner (I came from Budapest) and I was satisfied! Really kind staff, the dürüm was huge (I could eat the half of it), filled with well-spiced "kebab" and lot of veggies. I forgot to mention them that I would like to skip the onion - next time. :)

It looks better than it tastes. The "burger" is not a burger but simply a flatbread. I have no idea what the Vöner is supposed to be. The fries are more like salt fries than salted fries and are almost inedible. Added to this are the absolutely ungodly prices, esp. A. compared to the older prices shown on Google and the room temperature is at least 40°.

The ambience is rather mediocre, but the food is very good! The Vöner plate and the Dürüm with herb or tahine garlic sauce are particularly delicious. The fries special weren't quite my taste, but ideal for anyone who likes spicy fries with toppings. :-)

Very cool shop! The peanut sauce on the Vöner is very tasty and the staff is always very mousey. Only the price is a little more expensive, but you should find the store and support it. That's why it's totally ok!

It’s been my third or fourth time, and every time I enjoy it, vöner plate. I must admit that this time the food served on the plate was not enough, I left the place hungry. it would also be nice to have the used dishes removed from its stand more often. So amount could be more generous, the rest is very good.

I've really enjoyed eating at your place for years, but I'm really shocked by the current prices. 😢 To be honest, I would still be willing to pay "that much" if I didn't have to wait at least 20 minutes every time (when there is usually little traffic). And 1 euro extra for peanut sauce is somehow too heavy given the price structure. Long story short: tasty but slow, which makes the price-performance ratio seem worse in my opinion. Still leave love there ♥️

Very nice place, great taste and you felt really comfortable. Great sauces and the fries were awesome! The next time I want a kebab, I'll happily take the train again for 6 hours. Conclusion: the best vegan kebab I've ever had!

Super tasty Vöner. I come from the south of Germany and this was my first kebab in Berlin. I was very impressed, the sauce was super tasty and the meat fit in perfectly. The staff was also super nice and the food was ready quickly. If you're looking for something that's extremely close to meat, you've come to the wrong place. I think the vegan alternative has something completely new about it. It's worth trying the Vöner once. Prices are average for a kebab.
