Vegang in Berlin

Das Essen war absolut köstlich. Mein Partner bestellte die vegane Ente mit ihrer dünnen, knusprigen Haut, während ich mich für die veganen Garnelen mit veganem Lachs entschied. Alles schmeckte fantastisch – ein wahrer Genuss, ganz ohne unnötiges Tierleid. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, und die Atmosphäre war warm und einladend. Wir gingen beide satt und zufrieden nach Hause und hatten anschließend noch genug Energie, um das Konzert zu genießen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen!

Die Lage ist an einer stark befahrenen Straße, aber das Essen und die Getränke sind köstlich.

Absolut köstlich! Ich würde extra nach Berlin zurückkehren, nur um dort wieder zu essen.

Das beste vietnamesisch-vegane Essen, das wir je gegessen haben. Die Proteine ​​waren so lecker, dass ich mich sogar gefragt habe, ob es wirklich vegan ist. Die „Ente“ hatte sogar eine Hautschicht – das habe ich bei veganem Fleisch noch nie gesehen. Absolut empfehlenswert! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Berlin bin.

Essen war super, sehr lecker, von der Menge her auch. Service war nicht so gut, es war nicht viel los, die Kellner saßen teilweise mit Handy und abgewandt von den Gästen, so dass es mitunter schwierig war z.B. noch ein Getränk nachzubestellen. Vor dem Hintergrund, dass es preislich nicht sehr günstig war, hätte ich mir besseren Service gewünscht.

Wer glaubt, dass veganes Essen fad ist wird hier eines Besseren belehrt. Hervorragendes Essen und guter Service

Update 2026: Trotz Entschuldigung 2 1/2 Jahre nach dem Ereignis (am 04.05.2026) wurde zwei Tage danach (am 06.05.2026) versucht meine Rezension wegen Diffamierung löschen zu lassen! Nur durch Intervention bei Google konnte ich diese Rezension wieder herstellen, da ich Beweise habe, dass ich damals dort essen war. Für mich ist das keine aufrichtige Entschuldigung. Für mich steht das Restaurant nicht zu seinen Fehlern und ich fühle mich nicht ernst genommen. Stattdessen durfte ich nachweisen, dass ich wirklich da war. ----------------------------------------- Essen war gut. Service leider unterirdisch. Habe telefonisch das Essen vorbestellt. Dieses war auch schon da als wir angekommen sind. Leider wurden wir während des Gesamten Aufenthalts nicht gefragt ob wir etwas trinken möchten und nicht ob das Essen den schmecken würde. Der Kellner ließ sich gar nicht blicken. Wir aßen dann ohne was zu trinken. Beim Bezahlen wurde es aber unverschämt. Ich hatte beim Bestellen NeoTaste (eine bezahlte GutscheinApp) angekündigt (wie man es machen soll). Der Rabatt wurde „vergessen“ und ich sollte den vollen Preis zahlen. Also mehr als ein normaler Gast. Denn dann würde ich NeoTaste zahlen und den vollen Preis. Die Rechnung könne man nicht mehr ändern. Man wollte dann auch noch die Schuld dafür mir in die Schuhe schieben, dass ich NeoTaste nicht erwähnt hätte. Was nicht stimmte und dann auch der Kellner einsah. Ich habe dann den Rabatt bekommen jedoch nur mit einem abfälligen Kommentar. Auch hier kein „schönen Tag!“; „hat‘s Geschmeckt?“. Nichts.

Wir waren am Samstag Abendessen und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Der Service ist aufmerksam, wirkt aber teilweise etwas kühl, da hätten wir uns von einem Herren etwas mehr Freude an der Arbeit gewünscht. Ein weiterer Herr hat uns dann wiederum sehr freundlich und und mit einem Lächeln bedient. Das Essen war rundum super lecker und die Portionen waren gut. Die Preise empfinden wir als eher etwas teurer. Auch, dass wir beim Bezahlen mehrfach gefragt wurden ob wir nicht wirklich lieber mit Bar zahlen wollen hat dem ganzen als letzten Eindruck etwas schlechten Beigeschmack gegeben. Alles in allem dennoch ein schöner Abend mit leckerem Essen.

Stabiles Essen, nichts besonderes.

Das Essen war schlecht-sorry! Die "Curry Sauce wurde mit Wasser vermischt und kam aus der Tüte. Das Gemüse wurde roh in mein Essen geworfen der Brokkolie war an den Rändern bereits gelb.das Essen war ausserdem nach 5 Minuten schon fertig was immer ein sehr schlechtes Zeichen ist! Ich hatte danach Bauchweh und musste mich übergeben. Im Mojjito war alles drin nur kein Alkohol und der Service war sehr unfreundlich. Kein ylächeln und der junge Mann hat sich ständig mit seinem Handy beschäftigt als sich um seine Gäste freundlich zu kümmern! Absolut keine Empfehlung für dieses Restaurant! Super schlecht

Das Essen dort ist toll, ich mag es gerne, allerdings wird das Gesamterlebnis durch die schlechte Service Kraft gestört. Ich hab ca. 20 Minuten darauf gewartet, dass der Kellner die Bestellung aufnimmt und dann gesehen, dass er die ganze Zeit an der Bar am Handy rumspielt. Als er draußen stand, machte er einfach damit weiter und wenn neue Gäste kamen schaute er genervt zum Tisch, weil er wohl seine Handy Aktivitäten unterbrechen musste. Kein freundliches Lächeln, keine Manieren, wollte dem Herren neben mir den halb-vollen Teller vom Tisch nehmen, obwohl dieser noch nicht fertig aufgegessen hatte.Kein „Hat es Ihnen geschmeckt, war alles in Ordnung?“ Geht gar nicht! Willkommen im Jahr 2026. Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit sind Key in dem Job (und auch sonst bei allem was wir tun), daher es wäre schön, wenn ihr das euren Servicekräften beibringen würdet.

Update 2025: I've been a big fan of Vegang. I've been frequenting the restaurant and I have often been ordering for delivery as well. BUT for their deliveries, they keep putting their soupy noodle dishes into paper containers that consistently LEAK - and as a result the food lands straight on the floor. I ordered phō multiple times, without exception ending in disaster. One time right in front of my house! It is not very pleasant to clean up food from the floor. What use of a sustainable food container if it leaks? You might as well get refunded but the courier will NOT be paid anything for the pointless delivery. Upon contacting Vegang, they haven’t even responded. So, I’m making my complaint public… What a shame about this restaurant, great kitchen but they need to do something about this issue. Until then: don't order the pho or bun bo hue for delivery! Or better skip this restaurant entirely..

Yesterday I visited the Vegang restaurant. I rarely write reviews, but this restaurant impressed me so much that I absolutely had to share my experience. I recently switched to a vegan diet and, to be honest, was a little skeptical about whether the food could actually be delicious. But this restaurant completely changed my perception of vegan cuisine. The restaurant is very clean and cozy, the atmosphere is calm and pleasant, and there were candles on the tables, which created a particularly lovely ambiance. The staff is friendly and attentive. The dishes were served very quickly, and everything was incredibly delicious. The portions are generous – I left completely full and satisfied. I was especially pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of dishes – there really is something for everyone. Now I know that vegan cuisine can be not only healthy but also truly delicious. I will definitely be back many times and will gladly recommend the restaurant to all my friends. Thank you for this wonderful restaurant – it's my new discovery and, without exaggeration, my new love.

The place is very nice and well-decorated. Unfortunately, the food isn't up to par: it's mediocre and rather bland. After ordering, the dishes arrived very quickly, giving the impression that they were already prepared. There's definitely room for improvement.

A restaurant with an exclusively vegan menu. We weren't very hungry, so we simply ordered five different appetizers (Tempur shrimp, seitan duck, soy chicken, salmon sashimi, and eggplant) and two desserts (caramel flan and black sticky rice dessert) and enjoyed them. The homemade lemonade was excellent. Friendly and helpful service. We'd gladly come back.

Fantastic restaurant with a very varied and well-crafted menu – it was a real treat! The main courses were very generous!! 😊 The only downside was that the door was impossible to open and no one came to help us. We felt like we were bothering them by asking for menus in English…perhaps they had bad experiences with foreign tourists in the past? I highly recommend it!

Absolutely delicious, my goodness! We were so full – great drinks, appetizers, and main courses (unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert). Our waiter was a bit curt, but the rest of the staff seemed friendly.

A fantastic selection of vegan dishes. The udon noodles were amazing and the vegan "duck" was delicious. The service was very attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. Highly recommended. We were pleasantly surprised to get a table for two on a Saturday evening without a reservation.

I had the "Udon Know Me", the veggies were fresh, great sauce, and everything tasted delicious. Secret tip (they told us): apparently "Austernsauce" is the same as "Teriyaki Sauce".

The menu says you can pay with a card from 10 euros. I go to pay and he says I must spend 12 euros to pay with a card. So yeah. The food was ok. Nothing special. Looked better than it tasted.

I stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday with a good friend. Nicely decorated with a pleasant color scheme. The staff were very friendly, and the homemade lemonades and food arrived promptly. All the dishes and the homemade lemonades were delicious. This definitely won't be our last visit, and I highly recommend this restaurant. 👍🏻

One of my few times at a completely vegan restaurant. It was delicious; I definitely recommend the dishes with peanut sauce. We placed a large order, and the food arrived in about 15 minutes.

Food was really great! But the service was lacking.. we were there early in the evening and it wasn't busy yet. Still, the server didn't even say hello and basically threw the menus on our table. He continued to forget stuff we asked for and in the end pressured my friend to give a tip. On top of that I checked my account and they charged me twice - I tried contacting them to get my money back but that didn't work...

Post-Berlin Marathon dinner. My partner surprised me by taking me to this little Vietnamese vegan restaurant. I was really impressed with the size of the dish. I'm not a big eater, but I needed a digestible and varied carb load. I had a delicious home-made curry. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the service was very fast. They also had a very cold 0.0% alcohol-free beer! Recommended! The location was also great! 🙌🏻🫶🏻

There are many vegan Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin these days, but this one really stands out. The Udon know me and Lil bao wow are super delicious :)

Very good vegan restaurant with a wide selection of dishes.

The food is truly delicious, fresh, and creative! It's actually the perfect place to enjoy the taste of Peking duck without having to sacrifice a single duck (this dish is a must-try if you're there!). Unfortunately, the place has gotten really dirty these days. The glasses weren't clean and smelled of old sewage. The "still water" for just under €5 was tap water. Next to our table, the bar was being cleaned with chlorine, floor rags were being wrung out, and the altar was being filled with new incense sticks. None of this has anything to do with the food itself, but it seriously spoils the overall experience.

My friend and I went to this restaurant intrigued by various posts and reviews we had read about this place. Even though it was 1 p.m., the place was almost empty and the waiter seemed annoyed by us. My friend then went to the toilet inside and the waiter (who was sitting at the tables outside) shouted at her as he saw her go inside the restaurant and with a very brusque gesture pointed her where to go. It was really rude!! Despite the bad service, the food was good and tasty and the food arrived very quickly.

I love Vegang because it uses my absolute favorite sauce: oyster sauce. The food is super deliciously seasoned, although it lacked a few little extras. For example, the cilantro on the salad. But otherwise, it's simply delicious and highly recommended! The next time we visited, a few months later, the food was delicious and wonderfully seasoned. We were all very satisfied. Vegang is simply fantastic.

We had the scallop medallions and the squid rings for starters, and for main courses, we had Duckin' Good with curry sauce, Hack Me (but with duck instead of minced meat), and Udon Know Me. The dishes were divine. The duck is so, so good, and everything is simply well-rounded and perfectly seasoned. The next day, we tried the lunch special M3 (duck with udon noodles and peanut sauce), which was also delicious and, at less than €10, unbeatable. Overall, the prices are more than reasonable for the large portions, the amount of delicious ingredients, and, above all, the taste. All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We can wholeheartedly recommend Vegang and would love to eat there every day!

A very beautifully designed restaurant, and I really like the concept. There are a few tables on the street, and Kantstraße is the perfect area for them. The food was ready quickly and tasted good. The vegetarian chicken substitute was very good. However, for the price, it could have included a bit more. There wasn't much rice, and I wanted more. Very friendly staff. I'd be happy to come back.

A truly cute shop with great food! We went there for lunch and tried one of the lunch deals each – quick, delicious, and absolutely fair prices. Everything is vegan and freshly prepared. We had a peanut curry and a rice noodle salad with chili vinaigrette, both of which were excellently seasoned. The location is also a plus; it's very central, and we were able to sit outside in the sun. However, if you're sensitive to noise, be aware that Kantstrasse is quite noisy and there are lots of people walking by – in that case, it's better to sit inside. Still, a definite recommendation!

Vegang delivers one of the most delicious vegan menus in Berlin. Even after five years, I keep coming back — which says a lot about their consistent quality. It all starts with a creative list of mocktails (I prefer non-alcoholic drinks, and they have some really fun ones!) and continues with flavorful appetizers and excellent entrées. I’ve never gotten bored with their food and always look forward to my next visit!

Wow, just super tasty and a funny menu. The dishes are all well seasoned and so far everything I've tried has been very good. The lunch dish is great - in this corner of Charlottenburg it's really cheap at less than 10 euros. Always happy to come back. The window seats could be a little less drafty and more comfortable, as a suggestion for improvement. Otherwise great

A good shop to show Leiten how diverse a vegan menu can be. Nobody has to make compromises here. The portions are large and taste very good! Try the vegan Vietnamese coffee. Is a vegan rarity :)

Food is quite good and service is ok. We waited a while before we could order and it was a bit noisy, but otherwise fine. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant in particular, but I would definitely go again if I'm in the area

Perfectly simple from start to finish, I love it. Service perfect. Ambiance perfect. Food more than perfect. It's a shame that we don't have you in Mannheim. That makes me sad :)
