The worst kebab I've ever eaten. There was only chicken to choose from and it was 70% just fat...I threw it away after a few bites. Just save the money! The kebab is not worth the money...no matter what time it is!

I have been a regular customer for years and remain satisfied despite the increased prices. Price performance is right.

The food is of good quality, very tasty. Prices are going up like everywhere else. The service was friendly. Please be careful when it comes to hygiene... run your hands through your face (beard) and up to your nose... and then use them to dress the salad. That's not possible, so please work with kitchen gloves.

Very fine kebab. The food was really better than we expected (you just think "it's just kebab, right!?"). But here it was really convincing. We came in from a cool, drizzly September evening, hoping to pick up after a long day. We ordered a grill plate with chicken and classic kebab with lamb. Plus a small salad + ayran. On the one hand, everything came super quickly. Then there was some warm flatbread with tzatziki and a spicy dip. Delicious! The main course was great and the fries were crispy and the way fries should be. Not a second-rate supplement but also quite convincing on its own. It was clean, even in the toilets. Prices about comparable to Peter Pane... I really liked the food here even better than the burgers there. Overall, I couldn't make it much tastier at home, and I can do a lot ;) In this respect, our compliments! At the end the friendly boss gave us some tea and sent us off with good wishes for the slightly longer journey home. We will definitely come back next time we visit Horner Rennbahn. Thanks!

The meat is delicious, but both the waiter and the gentleman behind the counter have a poor priority in terms of service and it is not a good move to choose a customer. It is a very arrogant attitude to make me wait for 10 minutes, give my turn to someone else and then say that the waiter knows it.

I ordered kebab with my wife earlier and waited 20 minutes for the waiter. After 20 minutes, because the waiter served the customers who came after us instead of us, I asked for tea at the front of the cash register because the waiter didn't serve us. Didn't get any tea. Half an hour had passed and I asked for my kebab and it wasn't even put on the fire. Only after I asked where my kebab was, the waiter said that my kebab was being taken care of and I asked where it was because I didn't see it and his lie came out. We were there for 40 minutes and wanted 2 Adana kebabs and 2 ayran, but the waiter preferred to take the customer in front of us with a beer. I assume it's because of tips, but I don't know exactly why. They have now lost me as a customer...

For me it's clear that it's the best kebab/grill house in Hamburg. Super accommodating and always friendly team. I'm glad the people and the food are there.

Always been very satisfied The taste is bomb and the service is very nice and accommodating. My wife swears by the lentil soup, I'm more of a lamb skewer type, it's tasteful and very, very tasty. The prices are also completely okay. Always happy to give 5 stars here... 4 somehow it's no longer almost what it was. And the soup doesn't taste good anymore, too bad.

My deduction point has a reason: if a person urgently needs to go to the toilet, he or she can only do so if they pay €1 for it at the counter, which is incomprehensible, so people with Prostdae illness cannot go there unless they pay for it.

I have ordered Dürüm kebab many times until I realized that they put leftover meat like chicken skin and fat around the chicken breast in the sandwich and sell it, even though my order was with veal It was really terrible. My advice is not to order durum kebab at all. Don't waste your money.

I like kebab, but. Unfortunately. Only if Asian people here or Volkan's Grillhaus Horn only pay 10 euros for a kebab + beer are they not allowed to eat here but only to take away. Foreigners have to be careful because they are only allowed to take with them. :) Watch out! This restaurant don’t welcome ppl who spent less than xx eur here. :)

There were better days, but this time it was really bad. The meat didn't taste like anything, the Dürum was completely dry even though I ordered with sauce.

It was also much better. Unfortunately, an hour before the store closed, it was only possible to order from outside the store and many ingredients were missing. What didn't work at all were the partially raw fries in my kebab box and the pieces of meat in my friend's falafel bag, which were specially ordered vegetarian. Sorry, but unfortunately it was a complete failure even or especially for a good night snack. The employees were extremely friendly, but that doesn't make up for the bad food.

If you are in Hamburg. This place is vorth giving a try!! Best salad i ever had in a resturante. We had the mixed grill for 2. AMAZING!!!! The personel are smiling and at all times looking after you. Will be back in Hamburg just to have another meal at this resturante👍🏻🤩

Chic shop at the train station. Ordered kebab box without fries. Instead I got a salad with very little kebab meat. Curry sauce is not a hot sauce either. I would have liked to return the box, but had to move on in a hurry.

Always been satisfied. Today, told 3 times how the box should be filled. Wrong sauces and although ordered without onions, there were some in them. Had a hair in a box. So 7.50 wasted. Was very disappointed today. I'm not used to it. Was a new employee.

I didn't really like the kebab. The bread was very long, with a lot of sesame and barely toasted (I don't like that), the vegetables contained unusual vegetables for kebabs such as peppers and carrots and the sauce was not at least put on the bun, but only a thin layer in the middle ( overall therefore dry). The meat was also quite fatty. The service also seemed totally annoyed. I didn't like the atmosphere in the store either. There are better kebab shops nearby.

Was there for the first time today based on a recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. A great shop for a “doner kebab snack”. A very friendly welcome, attentive service and very tasty food. The waiter keeps eye contact every now and then so that you can order something else. And at the end there was a delicious tea “on the house” 👍🏼 I will definitely come back and can recommend it with a clear conscience...

Very good service, absolutely accommodating. When eating on site, every cola comes with an extra lemon and ice cubes on a plate, without having to ask. Good Hausayran. Very tasty food, Seitan kebab would be nice for vegetarians and vegans. I'm there weekly.

The lunch was really really tasty. This was a plate of poultry rolls with vegetables. I can only recommend it, I've rarely been so full with not so much quantity. You just have to be able to cook properly. ;-)

Doner kebab for €7... Tastes ok, meat is not mixed with salad, unfortunately not on request either. The meat is pure minced skewer, despite the sauce, the kebab is extremely dry. You first smear the sauce into the bread, then meat, salad and then some more sauce and then the rest of the meat, which is not the case here, which is why the kebab tastes dry. And then the awesome prices for a small bowl of soup are just under €7?! Köfte in bread €10?! That's really expensive.

We can understand the others very well who come regularly. When we are in Hamburg we really enjoy eating there. The service is phenomenal. And the food is excellent. We say we'll come back.

Dies war mein erster Besuch in diesem Grill; mein Partner hingegen ist dort schon seit Jahren Stammkunde und nachdem er schon so oft begeistert berichtet hatte, musste ich natürlich auch endlich mit und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Dips schmecken hervorragend, das Brot passt perfekt dazu und auch, dass jeder einen Vorspeisensalat erhält, war für mich eine neue Erfahrung (in einem Grill hätte ich das nicht erwartet). Der Service ist freundlich und sehr aufmerksam und auch kleine Extrawünsche werden gerne berücksichtigt. Für Liebhaber auf den Punkt gegrillten Fleisches ist dieses Restaurant ein muss; aber auch Vegetarier kommen nicht zu kurz.

€7 for a normal kebab, it was the smallest kebab I've ever had. I wasn't even remotely full. This is really pure aggravation. There are two other kebabs nearby, one of which costs 6.50e and is twice as big. The size is really a complete disgrace. One of the worst kebabs in all of Hamburg!

Ketchup? 3,30 € für eine Glasflasche Cola usw.? Ja, gut, kan man verlangen, wir wussten es ja vorher und haben es auch bezahlt, aber 5 Sterne kann ich insgesamt nicht vergeben, auch wenn die Speisen und der Service eher 6 Sterne verdient hätten. Wir reden immer noch vom EKZ Horner Rennbahn und nicht von Blankenese.

Ehrlich gesagt, sind wir jedes Mal überfordert mit der Entscheidung, was wir bestellen sollen, da alles so verführerisch lecker ist. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der erstklassige Service. Liegt sehr zentral, direkt an der U-Bahn Horner Rennbahn. Essen ist sehr lecker. Er Keller ist immer sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ich gehe sehr gern dorthin.

Picking a place to eat with my friends, a very common chime would be : Not another döner place! (Because we have this a lot!) But however, Volkan-Grillhaus somehow is what we need - not just another döner place. Their food is worthy of multiple visits. Personally, this restaurant being on the U2 station is the perfect dinner stop before I walk home. Even otherwise, there's something pleasurably different about their hospitality and their offerings that brings you here. Really love their mixed salad with dönerfleisch or chicken breast - the best they offer in my opinion. Their Turkish pizza is also amazing! They have vegetarian options as well. Not the queitest of places, only because they're always running houseful on eat-ins and take-aways both! Even so what's the loudest in here is the quality of their food. In summary - not just another döner place, but a really nice place for a good time.

Man würde von außen nicht erwarten, dass das Essen so gut ist. Wirklich sehr gutes Essen, auch die Bedienung war sehr nett.

Das Essen schmeckt mir dort super gut, am liebsten nehme ich einen Dürüm und mein Partner einen Falafelteller. Das Personal ist total freundlich und zu jeder Uhrzeit wurde ich dort immer herzlich bedient! Werde dort wieder hingehen und freue mich schon jetzt auf den nächsten Döner nach einem Konzert- oder Partyabend :-)

Tagesgerichte sind hier das Aushängeschild. Hier wird man satt und es schmeckt. Preise haben leider angezogen, gehen aber noch in Ordnung.

Ich bin heute zum ersten Mal in hh und dieses Grill Haus kann ich nur empfehlen. Der Kellner war super freundlich und das Essen sehr gut. Das Restaurant an sich ist sehr sauber und man hat viel Auswahl. Die Preise sind etwas hoch aber es lohnt sich definitiv. Ich war noch nie so begeistert. Einfach toll. Danke nochmal an diesen Kellner, ein richtiger Ehrenmann.

Wir kommen leider nur einmal im Jahr hierher. Immer nach der 90‘ Party 🎉 das Essen war auch heute wieder großartig und die Bedienung so so so freundlich ! Macht weiter so 👍🏼 bis nachstehe Jahr 🤗

Wenn ich bei meinem üblichen Döner-Dealer "komplett mit alles und alle Saucen" sage bekomme ich Saucen, die auf den Döner abgestimmt sind. Bei Volkan Deppenapostroph s klatscht der Mensch mir glatt Currysauce auf den Döner. Currysauce. Schön versaut mein Essen. Das Brot ist durchgesuppt und überall tropft es aus der fettigen Alufolie. Und dafür 7,00€. Der Laden 50 links daneben hat Döner für 5,50€. Kann nicht schlechter sein. Nicht nochmal.

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis finde ich sehr gut. Der junge Mann im Service war sehr freundlich.

Sehr leckerer Döner, vorallem der Schafskäse. Sehr nette Bedienung.

Super service, sehr sehr leckeres Essen, immer ein Geheimtipp und bei schönen Wetter kann man draußen von Sträuchern umgeben auch schön sitzen.

Ich besuche dieses Grillhaus sehr gern mit guten Freunden, meiner Freundin oder Familie. Der Kellner namens Sello macht einem immer gute Laune mit seiner netten sympathischen Art. Ich kann jeden nur empfehlen hier essen zu gehen, ihr werdet positiv überrascht sein. Das Essen ist lecker, die Leute sind freundlich und der chai aufs Haus rundet den Besuch ab.
