Unbeatable!!!! Service was a 10/10 and the food was a 12/10!

Everything was absolutely delicious and filling. The appetizers were tasty, and the lamb chops were especially delicious among the main courses. For dessert, I had Revani. It was fantastic!

I am extremely disappointed with the service and the way the staff treated me. The visit felt like a complete rip-off. We specifically went there because of the offer advertised in the SCAR Taste app – an app I pay for monthly. Other restaurants clearly state if an offer is not valid on weekends. In this case, however, there was absolutely no indication of this, neither in the app nor on-site. When we wanted to order, the staff had to call the manager to clarify whether the discounted offer was even possible. The answer: "Definitely not on weekends." We were also told that they supposedly no longer work with the app – even though the offer is still displayed in the app and we are paying for it. To me, this seems extremely unprofessional. Advertising attractive offers that you can't then redeem on-site is misleading. After this experience, I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant. It also explains why the place was so empty.

The ambiance and service were okay, but the food was very bad. None of the dishes tasted good; the meat was burnt and overcooked. It wasn't even close to being juicy.

A simple grill restaurant with Turkish specialties. Very good quality food. We had lamb fillet on a skewer with yogurt, harissa, and bulgur. Watching the highly professional grill master at work was fun.

You feel right at home, everything is always delicious.

I was passing by and saw a man in the window being served a pomegranate salad. I wanted to try one too. I ordered eggplant caviar and another salad or appetizer. The pita bread was served hot, and the tea was aromatic. Thank you for the delicious salad, and the meat is there. They cook it over the fire in front of you. When I left, the workers sat down to eat what they had prepared themselves. Delicious.

Köz Ocakbaşı is definitely one of the best restaurants I've visited in Hamburg! The food was amazing; every bite was a feast of flavor. A wonderful atmosphere at the charcoal grill. All the staff are very courteous and friendly. We met the owner himself by chance during our stay. This reflects the good atmosphere and quality of the food. We had the Adana plate; the meat was finally spicy, just as an Adana should be. It was also juicy.

Delicious Turkish/Kurdish food near Hamburg Central Station. Plenty of choice and options on the menu for different combination of grilled meat. While waiting for your main, they provide complimentary fresh bread with 2 dips (which are more like starters) and also complimentary Turkish tea after the meal. Pleasant experience throughout and would definitely recommend if you're by the area.

I was here for the first time today. I had Adana kebab, and I've never had anything as delicious as this in all of Hamburg. Ibrahim, the waiter, is a super friendly man who pays attention to everything; you just feel at home here. Truly authentic cuisine, and the meat is cooked on a real charcoal grill, not like at other places where the grill is heated by gas. If you really want good food, you should come here. We'll definitely be coming here regularly from now on. Thanks, Ibrahim, for the friendly service :)

The food was excellent, especially the service. Kudos to everyone from the butcher to the chef and the service staff. Ibrahim is a fantastic person, beautiful, energetic, and has excellent communication skills. We were very pleased and will recommend him to our friends. I don't know how much Ibrahim makes, but give him a raise. He's excellent, he'll bring in customers.

I ordered a grilled mix of various meats. Everything was very tasty, grilled on a real grill, not an electric one. I recommend it.

The best thin steak in Hamburg. Very good meat, both chicken and veal, both of good quality. It's not cheap, but it's worth it to me.

It's very important that it's open late into the night, which is quite good considering that restaurants generally close early in Germany. The refreshments, including tea, çiğ köfte (raw meatballs), and dessert, are definitely recommended for special occasions. Service is fast, and the waiters are friendly.

I ate a doner kebab which was expensive at 9 euros but the meat was very good. I just didn't like how it was prepared. In North Rhine-Westphalia we're used to the meat going in first, then the sauces and then the salad. Here it was the other way around, so I ate the meat on top and then the salad.

I ate at this restaurant and my service was not good, so I complained to the waiter and his chef, but the manager made the mistake. To avoid this restaurant, there are better restaurants. A sloppy dinner that cost me €58 and gave me a bad digestive tract. I ate at this restaurant and was served spoiled wheat that smelled. Despite my complaints to the waiter and the chef, no one cared. This restaurant is to be avoided at all costs! There are many better alternatives. A disgusting dinner that cost me €58 and ruined my health – I had severe digestive problems and felt unwell afterward.

We were at the restaurant today and unfortunately had a very mixed experience. First, the older waiter, Mehmet, served us, and unfortunately, he was anything but friendly. He was very, very rude. If I were the boss, I would have fired him immediately. He said right from the start that we weren't allowed to sit upstairs, simply because he "didn't feel like it." Then he brought us dirty cutlery. When I wanted to return it, he simply snatched it right out of my hand without a word, very disrespectfully. It was really unpleasant. Instead of my Coke Zero, I got still water and ayran. I returned it, of course, but after that, I had to wait a long time for my drink. Luckily, little Mehmet took over. He was super friendly, attentive, and really nice. We stayed just because of him. Without him, we would have left. Thanks to little Mehmet for the great service, but the start by the other waiter was unfortunately very disappointing.

We discovered it by chance and immediately became our regular. Clean place, friendly service, and first-class food. Unfortunately, you can't try the entire menu in two days. But we'll be back and happily eat our way through it. The price is absolutely reasonable!

We were two women traveling to Copenhagen and had to transfer buses along the way. In Hamburg, we had to wait for our next bus from 12:15 AM until 2:30 AM. The bus station was closed, it was cold and dark outside, and the atmosphere at night felt quite scary. Fortunately, we found a nearby restaurant called Köz Ocakbaşı, which was open until 5 AM. We went there to warm up, have some food, and rest a bit. The food was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. The manager of the restaurant was a truly kind person. Understanding our situation, he and all the staff welcomed us warmly. We were deeply touched by their hospitality. We sincerely wish this restaurant continued success and prosperity. After our little Hamburg tour, we ate here today based on a recommendation online. The service was friendly and open, the food was delicious and the price was completely reasonable.

Depending on which piece of meat you bit into, the food fluctuated between 'hot like hell' and completely tasteless. The service responded very well and quickly to the guests' wishes.

Actually, the food was great, the gentlemen who served us were very friendly, but all the cutlery and plates were taken away after we hadn't even eaten the last piece. Constantly being disturbed at the table while eating and having to put something away, something like that is unpleasant.

Service/reception was very nice, but everything else was nothing.

The food was very tasty, but one star was deducted because I noticed that the staff was very arrogant and annoyed when dealing with the young employee. You have to train new staff and not expect them to know everything straight away. And I think it makes the young employee uncomfortable to be treated like that in front of customers, it's unprofessional. And I have to say that the young employee was very attentive and asked with a smile whether everything was OK with us. 👍
