Very tasty food and friendly staff ;)

We waited over an hour for the drinks alone and the food took even longer. Sometimes things were left out during the meal or even completely different dishes were brought. I wouldn't recommend it

I went to Viva Restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere is nice, and the service is friendly. The food is good too, but if you’re looking for authentic Mexican flavors, this might not be the place. The dishes seem more adjusted to local tastes. I had the enchiladas with minced meat, and while it was okay, it was mostly a bit too salty meat covered in cheesy sauce with no spice. The flautas with chicken were also a bit bland, with plain white meat instead of shredded, seasoned chicken. Since it claims to be a Mexican restaurant, I expected more spice and flavor in the dishes. Maybe I just didn’t pick the right dishes from the menu. If you’re looking for a nice place with good food and a great atmosphere, Viva is worth a visit. just don’t expect authentic Mexican flavors.

We were passing through and decided at short notice to go to Viva. Super delicious food, very friendly and child-loving staff. If we are in the area again, we would love to come back!!

Unfortunately the atmosphere is not very appealing, more like a pub than a Mexican restaurant. The service is very friendly. The food is not very creative, unfortunately it corresponds to the ambience - more of a pub than a restaurant. Everything is a bit bland and not very homemade.

As always everything is perfect! Edit 04/10/25: Ordered from home for the third time within a few weeks and the second time the chicken was missing from the baked potato pollo. The first time - called, sorry, there's a catch. The second time I have to be told that I might have ordered wrong - no, I didn't, the receipt is in front of me! Sorry, but that doesn't work!

Very friendly and attentive service. Great tapas. Unfortunately the fajitas weren't that good, very salty and dry. The ambience was sober. For the tapas it is absolutely recommended.

We had a lovely evening with a relatively large group. The portions were very large and tasted good too. Except for the olives, there was really nothing to complain about. The service was also quick and polite. I would be happy to visit this restaurant again.

We were there yesterday with a reservation in the evening. There was a really good selection of different dishes. The food was very well seasoned, the service was very nice. There was a mistake with the order, this was accepted straight away and a new plate was given. Despite the fact that it was well attended, there were no long waiting times and the noise was kept to a minimum. A cocktail, a cappuccino and a main course - around 30€. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately only 5 stars possible. Mexican and Spanish cuisine. I didn't expect that I would like Mexican food so much. We'll definitely be back. But ATTENTION: Nothing works without a reservation. Thanks for a really great meal.

We had dinner at Viva with four people. We felt very comfortable in the friendly and well-kept atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive. We decided on the menu. The appetizer plate alone offered a large selection of delicious dishes. The main course was also very rich, visually appealing and tasty. All dishes were very fresh and of the best quality. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely come back more often.

Food-wise, probably one of the best restaurants in all of Flensburg! 😁 Service was top notch, even if my pants were thirsty for a moment - but it wasn't all that bad because I had a really nice evening (especially because of the really good, homemade food)🍾🫃

We visited the restaurant on 25.11.2024,, a cozy place, even though it was close to booked they found a place for us. We ordered 2x Pina Colada which were really good👍and some Nachos which had large amounts of cheese on it👍👍also absolutely perfect. The main course was also good, but tasted like it was chicken pieces precooked from frost, and it took away the taste a bit🤔The service was friendly and the food came quickly, all in all a good experience and we will definitely come again🤗❤️

A bit small and we were a larger group. Portions are very rich and tapas are therefore also very large. So you don't have to order 3 different tapas at the same time. But otherwise good and a lot. We were happy to be there, even if the restaurant is designed more for small groups

Our company has no canteen and is close to this restaurant. So this restaurant is very popular among our colleagues and is called as "our canteen" by us. This resutaurant is always very crowded with customers. And the staff are always very friendly. We will come here again. And we would recommend you to visit here. Here is well worth your visit.

I was here for the first time. Staff super nice and attentive, food very tasty, location exceptional and different. The only thing that I personally didn't like was the cleanliness of the restaurant, but the toilets were clean. I'd love to come back.

We had dinner at Viva with 4 people on Saturday afternoon (reservation required!). The restaurant is located on Rote Straße, one of the most rustic areas in Flensburg. Our table was reserved for 4:30 p.m. When we sat down, the restaurant was already very busy despite the 'early' time. 5 of the 6 lower tables were already occupied. Unfortunately, we had to wait a while for the waiter and would have liked to have gotten our cards quicker - because we were already hungry. The waiter perhaps wanted to make a relaxed impression, but he seemed a bit annoyed and flippant to us. We decided on two appetizers and drinks each to start. Cheese wedges and tortilla rolls. There should be bread and ajoli with it. Our waiter forgot the bread - but it was noticed and refilled. We ordered the main courses when the starters arrived. The food at Viva met our expectations. I would describe it as fine dining. The taste was perfect 👍🏻 but the portion sizes could push hungry guests to their limits. We paid a good €30 per person including drinks (it was definitely worth it, even the side salad was a harmonious composition of taste.) Again about the service - we felt left alone at times, we would certainly have had dessert, but when the main course was eaten, no one came to clear the plates. So we couldn't order any more dessert. The Viva is a very small, winding restaurant - you should be prepared for that. The ambience is very simple (you can't tell from the interior that this is a Spanish/Mexican restaurant - only the name Viva says that)

I liked the food. Everything was very well maintained. We had a good laugh with the courteous waiter. We'll be back.

We were there spontaneously on an early Wednesday evening and got a table without any problems. The staff was super nice! Markus, the waiter, did a great job with our Lütten. Thank you again for that! ☺️ Since we adults couldn't decide at all when it came to food, we took the table menu. Absolute recommendation from us, everything was really tasty and more than enough! We will definitely come back!

Today we were at Viva in Flensburg. Mexican cuisine. We were 2 adults and 1 child. Since we wanted to try several things, we decided to just order wildly. From flautas, fajitas to tacos, with bread, aioli, chili con carne, chicken wings and a crispy tortilla filled and baked. The atmosphere is modern and stylish, the waitresses are very friendly and well organized. Each operation has its own area. The drinks came quite quickly despite the restaurant being full. Of course, we adults also had a golden tequila to start with so we could try our way through the quantities. The food also came in a pleasant time. The dishes were very appetizingly prepared and the taste was really top notch. From a culinary point of view, it is a trip to Central America. I'm the most critical of the two of us, as I originally come from the catering industry and I have to say, or we have to say, that Viva is definitely worth a visit. But we recommend reserving a table. Because the restaurant is always very busy.

The beef burger was tasty but very spicy. The waitress did her job wonderfully. Ambience OK so far. The boss can use a friendlier tone towards his employees if the guest is already listening in.

The Viva caught our eye, famished and tired from a rum tasting. We were welcomed by cheerful staff and encouraged to solve various puzzles after our meal. From floating beer mats to straw acrobatics. Numbers games and cheeky sayings - it was actually a dinner gag show. Thank you for the colorful evening.

“Just” drank something today. I'd love to eat again. No stars were awarded for “Essen” today, but the selection on the menu was really diverse. Staff very friendly, it's comfortable to sit there, there's even a second floor. You can also sit outside, but today with the weather, not so much...

Order: Chili, buritto with rice, Corona beer. Beer was OK, chilli con carne was too salty, burrito was bland and seemed like it had just come out of the microwave. Service was nice.

We were there on March 2nd, it was very disappointing! We ordered a table buffet for 4 people, the starters came and the bread and ayoli were plentiful, as were the tortilla chips. Cutlery to refill and plates were missing, after going to the service we got them. The plate for choice was very little, 1 meat ball for 4 people, champions to count, 2 toppas, a lot of salad, but everything was ok. Main courses without love and selection. Chicken wings, vegetarian wrap, honestly everything was very disappointing and the price doesn't justify it! I wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

I can't rave enough. For me as a mother with children, it was like a vacation. We were there on Valentine's Day with children, grandma and grandpa. It was like a vacation. Food absolutely breathtakingly delicious, service 150% friendly and child-loving!. Where else are children welcome? Definitely in Viva. We can rave for hours. Definitely our regular restaurant! Come back soon.

Their nachos were excellent, but the dinner was ruined by really bad service.. the waitress brought 2 beers instead of the 2 Fanta we ordered, and then she got mad and turned the whites out of her eyes... And when she finally came our fanta, she had to point out AGAIN that it was us who had said the wrong thing.. It was our last visit to Viva..

The food was, as always, very tasty. We hadn't been there for a while and were disappointed with the service and ambience. Well, it was Saturday and the restaurant was busy. But the otherwise courteous and funny waiter just shouts into his walkie talkie (which apparently connects him to the kitchen). We were completely ignored because of the young woman at the next table and really didn't feel well served. The tables are far too close together so that private conversation is impossible. You constantly had the waiter's bottom almost in your food because he explained the menu in detail to the group at the next table. We had to wait forever for everything. The food was excellent but otherwise unfortunately no longer recommended.

Hervorragendes mexikanisches Essen, auch für Vegetarier mehr als genug Auswahl. Es ist nicht umsonst schwierig, hier kurzfristig einen Tisch zu bekommen...

I ordered Vegetarian mit Gemüse Tacos. The filling and sauce was really delicious. The portion was good enough for a person. The service was also fast. I would recommend this tacos to anyone. Only thing I was disappointed was the price was too much. This Tacos was for 12.02 euros but I think it should have been 9-10 euros. **Note: i would advise to eat tacos at restaurant instead of taking out.

War früher tatsächlich besser. Der Service ist aufmerksam, hätte uns aber nochmal nach einem Getränk fragen können. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Abend dort.

Früher mal mein Lieblingsrestaurant ! Ich habe sogar mein 40 ziehst dort gefeiert. Das ist jetzt lange her! Ich war mal mit meiner Mutter dort, der Typ hat uns etwas untergejubelt. Es schmeckt grauenhaft und teuer war es auch noch. Die Boritos waren mal lecker! Alleine kann man dort sowieso nicht essen gehen, man wird schief angeguckt. Ich werde mich von dem Restaurant verabschieden.

Das Essen war ok aber leider nicht sehr authentisch. Die Aioli war sehr süß, einige Chicken Wings leider kalt, leider waren auf dem Vorspeisenteller keine Datteln im Speckmantel, sehr wenig Oliven und für 4 Leute 1 Streifen Schinken. Bei dem Buffet kann man nachbestellen aber dieser würden dann leider dazu führen, dass viel wieder weggeworfen wird. Der Service ist ok aber schon eine 2. Speise als Nachbestellung zu bringen wenn die erste noch nicht alle ist, ist leider schade. Man kann dort essen aber einmal reicht uns dann.
