I ate lamb and it was really good, excellent.

The food was OK. Contrary to what the information says, card payments aren't accepted.

We were on a short visit to Sleepy Holstein and were captivated by the beauty of Flensburg. By chance, we stumbled upon the Santorini Tavern and were equally impressed by the very hospitable service, the Greek friendliness, and, last but not least, the delicious, typically Greek dishes. We were there on a Monday evening and could see that the place was packed. And rightly so! A real recommendation!

Best Greek restaurant! Super crispy yet tender gyro and perfectly juicy liver, a dream! Just the right amount of seasoning, not too much, but not too little! The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The rice was also excellent! The tzatziki with dill was impeccable. Only the salad was standard. But that's beside the point in my opinion. The ouzo to finish was also very tasty. P.S.: The small portion was as large as the regular dishes at other restaurants. We'd be happy to come back 😊

Taverne Santorini Flensburg – Important Notice for Guests Yesterday, three of us planned to dine at Taverne Santorini in Flensburg and were really looking forward to it due to the many positive reviews. We had previously inquired by phone – a reservation wasn't necessary. What disappointed us, however, was that upon entering the restaurant, we learned that card payments weren't accepted. There was a notice at the entrance ("No card payments, cash only"), but this exact information should have been communicated to us over the phone. So, we arrived without any way to pay – and that after a long drive across Flensburg. Especially these days, when card payments are a given for many, such a notice should definitely have been provided in advance – by phone or on the website. That would have saved us the unnecessary trip. It's a shame, because we were really looking forward to the Greek food. We're not sure yet whether we'll try again. Conclusion: Please note in advance: The Santorini Tavern in Flensburg accepts cash payments only. A clear statement about this over the phone would have been very welcome.

The food tastes great and the staff is very friendly. The chef also welcomes guests very warmly. I highly recommend the food, and the tzatziki in particular tastes like something from Greece.

We spontaneously went to Santorini for dinner this evening. Every dish was excellent. I particularly want to highlight the saganaki (baked soft cheese). It was very creamy with a thin, crispy coating. I haven't had anything better anywhere. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We will be back very soon. Thank you👍

The food (classic gyro) was great. The meat was tender and crispy. The tzatziki was very well made. Beforehand, we had small pieces of bread with tzatziki. The salad was prepared with love. Everything was very well prepared. We are very satisfied and would like to recommend it. Thank you for the delicious meal.

We had to stay in Flensburg for a week, which was unplanned. Of course, we made good use of our time, got to know Flensburg a little better, and even treated ourselves to four dinners. All four times at Santorini, which really says it all. A friendly welcome and conversation, a great team, and excellent food—what more could you want? We're thrilled.

We ate there for the first time with five people. It was absolutely fantastic. Delicious, freshly prepared, plentiful, and appetizingly presented and served. A lovely restaurant with plenty of space both inside and out. Very cozy and you feel at home there. The staff – all I can say is, they were excellent, keep up the good work.

I recently ate there – and what can I say? It was simply fantastic! From the moment you enter, you're greeted with warm hospitality, just as you'd expect from Greece. The atmosphere was cozy, with stylish Mediterranean decor, and you immediately felt at home. The food was an absolute highlight: fresh, authentic, and incredibly delicious, and everything was perfectly seasoned and prepared to perfection. The portions were also more than generous. I particularly want to highlight the homemade tzatziki – creamy, garlicky, and wonderfully refreshing. The service was equally excellent: friendly, attentive, and never intrusive. You can tell that the cooking and work here is done with passion. In conclusion: If you're looking for good Greek food in a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

Well, where do I begin... The reception was very friendly, top-notch. We sat outside the restaurant in what I'd call a beer garden, right on the street. The table was wobbly, and the couple next to them were just chain-smoking with e-cigarettes. The street was audible and annoying. The appetizer was okay, but not a highlight. They offered Kalamata olives, which came in small, quite small olives, which were only close to being delicious Kalamata olives. My main course was gyros topped with Metaxa sauce, while my wife had souvlaki and gyros. Both looked very good, but tasted completely boring. The souvlaki wasn't seasoned at all. No typical Greek spices, not even a hint of lemon. The gyros was very close to being edible. Completely dry and had probably been on the skewer for too long. And here, too, it was completely flavorless. The Metaxa sauce was okay, but it didn't make up for the fact that the fries weren't even remotely tasty. Dear restaurateur, please just taste it and add a little more of the typical Greek spices.

Taverna Santorini was an unexpectedly wonderful discovery late into the day in Flensburg Mürwik. The owner, Nizza, and his team are truly hospitable people who make you feel truly welcome and very well received. It was so convincing that we ate there several times during our long weekend in Flensburg. The quality of the food is top-notch and truly delicious. Since we visit Flensburg several times a year, I can honestly say that we have definitely found my "favorite Greek restaurant." I went there spontaneously for the first time today with my little family. No reservation, no problem. The ambience is both modern and rustic. The service is very nice and attentive. The store was very busy, which speaks for itself. And the food was really amazing! And lavish, just as you would hope for in a Greek restaurant! Giros crispy, bifteki well seasoned and the skewer super juicy! My daughter was asked in advance if she would also like a tomato and cucumber in pieces, which I thought was really nice in addition to her children's plate because we all got salads. Greetings from the kitchen were bread and delicious tzatziki with wums and an ouzu, of course. 5 out of 5 stars with an additional star. Oh well, the price was also absolutely fair. Bravo keep it up! The food was really good, fries were crispy and the size was perfect. The meat was sometimes very dark, but still edible. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The prices are completely okay. Was back today and that was unfortunately not so good, food was delicious. We were then more or less thrown out because the next ones were already waiting and the box of packed food was simply wiped with something served on the table (not my own). Ordered something to take away, which was ok.

The food was very tasty, we were there with the family for my father's birthday and received top service from Nezar. We immediately felt at home and would love to come back. :)

We had reserved a table for two people at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. When we got there there was no table available for us. The waiter said there wouldn't be any free tables any time soon. Instead he would buy us a drink and then we could come back in an hour later. Conclusion: Reservation of a table in this restaurant is not possible. Absolutely not recommended. What annoys us the most is that we gave away food vouchers worth around 300.00 euros for this restaurant within our family. We can only hope that the recipients can at least redeem their voucher. We can't give a rating about the food as we didn't get one.

Inquired by phone 2 days ago whether on January 2nd. is open and then reserve a table. Today we are standing in front of the restaurant and it is closed 😱. Pretty stupid!

Some of the food is good. But very “hit and miss”. Good experiences are offset by mixed ones. Souflaki are usually dry - as is admittedly the case in a lot of other Greek restaurants. Perhaps many cooks are afraid that pink pig will go backwards and therefore prefer to cook it to death. Meat otherwise is okay, but not special. This actually also applies to “everything” else; i.e. rice, salad, fries, fish. Vegetable dishes are not my thing. A positive highlight: The service is quick, very nice and attentive. A negative "lowlight": For me, the worst place to get pita - small, little meat and carelessly "wrapped" so that you can hardly eat it without accidents despite its manageable size.

One of the best Greeks I've ever been to. Great ambience and the highlight was the rump steak. Compliments to the chef at this point, he did a really good job. Owner very friendly, also helps the waiters and all in all everyone is really nice. I can only recommend everyone to go there!!

Taverna Santorini is a Greek restaurant in Flensburg Mürwik. The ambience is a large room with the corresponding flair. The gyros is relatively dry or partially burnt. The fries have an unpleasant aftertaste. What was good was the starter salad and the side rice. Service below average. Conclusion: Once you've tried it, you don't have to go there again, there are definitely better Greek restaurants in Flensburg.

We really enjoy going out for Greek food, actually in our hometown. But since he was on vacation, we headed for Santorini. Our big dog was warmly welcomed in the restaurant... Service and ambience great! And the food completely surpassed that of our previous favorite Greek restaurant! With the salad there was ouzo and warm bread with the most delicious tzatziki. The menu is very comprehensive! There is 100% something for everyone! We will definitely come back!

We often go out to eat Greek, and try new places to eat once in a while. Here at Taverna Santorini, we won't be coming back. The food is ok if you don't expect Greek food. And the portions are almost ridiculous compared to other Greeks we have tried. This is probably because the owner is not Greek himself. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and there is a cozy atmosphere. That is the only positive experience here. We also found it rather questionable that you can only pay in cash and are asked if you need to use the receipt.... Overall, no recommendation from here.

A perfect Greek evening! The food was extremely tasty and it was also my first experience in a Greek restaurant where the food was not overly salted. Everything was well seasoned, but not terribly salty like I know from all other Greek restaurants. Unfortunately neither is the case. 2 stars more is not possible.
