Das Essen war wirklich gut, und wir saßen draußen, aber drinnen war es auch sehr schön.

Wir kommen schon seit längerer Zeit regelmäßig in die Taverna Santorini und wurden bisher nie enttäuscht. Das Essen schmeckt jedes Mal hervorragend, die Qualität ist konstant und die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend. Das gesamte Team ist immer freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt dafür, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Genau deshalb kommen wir immer wieder gerne her. Für uns definitiv eines der besten griechischen Restaurants in Flensburg. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier und sind wirklich begeistert. Das Essen war frisch, heiß und geschmacklich genau so, wie man es sich bei einem guten Griechen wünscht. Wir waren heute in der Taverna Santorini in der Osterallee in Flensburg. Das gemütliche kleine Restaurant ist mit Liebe eingerichtet. Kleine gemütliche Tische laden zum Platznehmen ein. Die Bedienungen sind jung, sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Wir haben mit Glück einen freien Tisch ergattern können, da anscheinend heute sehr viele Menschen Appetit auf griechisches Essen hatten. Wir bekamen sofort die Karten und bestellten uns direkt ein Bier und ein Alster. Obwohl das Restaurant bis zum letzten Tisch besetzt war, dauerte es nicht lange bis uns die Getränke serviert wurden. Das Pils und das Alster waren perfekt mit Blume gezapft und perlten wie es sein sollte. Wir bestellten uns dann zwei Grillteller mit verschiedenen Sorten Fleisch. Dazu gab es einen Beilagensalat der prompt nach der Bestellung serviert wurde. Wir bestellten einen Beilagensalat ohne Dressing, da meine Freundin nicht so gerne Dressings mag. Aber das Dressing schmeckte sehr gut, was meine Freundin nach einer Probiergabel bestätigt hatte. Der Salat bestand aus Eisberg, Krautsalat, Tomate, Gurke, Peperoni und ganz fein gehobelten roten Zwiebeln. Was uns sofort aufgefallen war, der Krautsalat war ebenfalls sehr fein und sehr fein abgeschmeckt. Er war überhaupt nicht so ölig wie in den andere Griechen in Flensburg und Umgebung. Wirklich, sehr gut. Dann kamen die Hauptgerichte. Was soll ich sagen, mir kamen fast die Tränen, so lecker hat das Essen geschmeckt. Jedes Stück Fleisch, egal ob Leber, Souvlaki, Bifteki, Steak oder Gyros, war schön gegrillt von außen teilweise leicht kross und von innen richtig saftig und würzig. Der Reis, wie man ihn beim Griechen kennt, nur besser. Der Reis war nicht zerkocht sondern auf dem Punkt, wie er sein soll. Die Pommes knusprig von außen und zart von innen und sehr gut gewürzt. Meine Freundin ist keine Pommes-Esserin, und hat alle verputzt und schwärmt immer noch. Und jetzt zum wichtigsten beim Griechen. Der Tzatziki. Er war cremig und vollmundig. Leichte Knoblauchschärfe, aber trotzdem nicht überladen und erfrischend im Mund. Alles in Allem, es ist mit Abstand der beste Grieche, den ich in meinen 49 Lebensjahren besucht habe und ich liebe griechisches Essen, aber so einen guten Griechen, der mich wirklich so sehr begeistert hat, hatte ich noch nie. Ich kann Taverna Santorini in Flensburg jedem mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und es wird unser neuer Stamm-Grieche. Ein kulinarischer Ausflug ans Mittelmeer, hier bei uns an der Förde.

Gut gemeinte 2 Sterne...sind auf dem Heimweg aus dem Urlaub hier vorbei gefahren um noch eine Kleinigkeit zu essen....Der Kellner war sehr freundlich aber wahrscheinlich noch nicht allzulange im Beruf.... das Essen kam schnell, aber die wollten auch Feierabend machen. Der Saganaki war okay, Tzatziki lecker...bei den Hauptspeisen konnte man das nicht mehr sagen....2 Verschiedene Grillteller die sehr identisch waren....der Kellner musste nachfragen was welches Gericht ist. Leber war bitter, Bifteki krümelig und trocken. Beim Bauernsalat fehlte der Schafskäse und die Oliven, auf Nachfrage unsererseits kam die Antwort es hätte Lieferschwierigkeiten gegeben und Schafskäse wäre aus. Ansonsten bestand der Bauernsalat aus viel zu saurem Krautsalat, Eisbergsalat, 1/2 Tomate und 2 Gurkenscheiben...als Deko 1 Peperoni und Zwiebelringe.... das war ein größerer Beilagensalat mehr nicht....zum Glück waren wir nur auf der Durchreise...

Solider Grieche mit nettem Service. Das Essen war okay und es gab große Portionen. In einer Rezension hatte ich von hausgemachten Pommes gelesen - das war leider nicht so. Auf der Karte gibt es sehr wenig vegetarische / vegane Gerichte.

Ich war nie ein großer Fan der griechischen Küche, aber die Taverna Santorini hat mich nun eines Besseren belehrt! Die Inneneinrichtung war sehr gemütlich mit schöner Tischdeko, das Personal war unglaublich proaktiv und sympathisch und das Essen war einfach großartig!😃 Richtig große Portionen, Brot wurde noch gebracht, der Vorspeisesalat war vorzüglich und das Lamm war GÖTTLICH! Auch unser kleiner Hund war sofort willkommen und bekam ein Schälchen Wasser hingestellt. Die Toiletten waren wirklich sauber und die Handseife hat sehr gut gerochen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super und wir konnten auch ganz problemlos mit Karte zahlen. Kurz gesagt, dieses Restaurant kann in jeder Hinsicht wärmstens empfohlen werden! Wenn wir mal wieder in Flensburg sind, werden wir definitiv wieder dort hingehen🥰🇬🇷

Nettes Restaurant, aber ich war von der Vorspeisenplatte enttäuscht, da sie hauptsächlich aus Frittiertem bestand.

Als ich eine extra Portion Tsatsiki bekommen habe, war ich sehr angetan vom Service. Als ich dann aber Zuhause feststellen musste, dass ich statt Reis noch zwei Schalen Tsatsiki bekommen habe... Nun ja, passiert. Nicht schlimm, wenn der Rest gut ist. Wirklich gute griechische Restaurants sind allerdings in Deutschland selten. Meistens bekommt man kein gutes Essen, dafür aber viel Protein für wenig Geld. Das Santorini gehört leider auch zu letzteren. Das ist ja nichts schlechtes, nur eben nicht meins. Trotzdem gut gemeinte 3 Sterne für sehr freundliches Personal.

Während eines spontanen Ausfluges nach Flensburg, sind wir mit leeren Mägen zum nächsten griechischen Restaurant gefahren. Es ist ein recht übersichtliches Lokal mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre, allerdings könnten die einzelnen Tische für mehr Privatsphäre ein wenig abgetrennt werden. Der Besitzer und seine Angestellten waren durchweg äußerst freundlich, besonders in Bezug auf unsere beiden Kinder. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt! Das Gyros war schön knusprig und gut gewürzt, der Tzatziki war cremig und geschmacklich top, selbst die Beilagen (Reis und Pommes) waren genau richtig. Auch die Größe der Portionen war so, dass jeder sehr satt wurde. Schade, dass wir knapp 300km entfernt wohnen! 😒

Sehr leckeres Essen. Wie bei Nizza (der Wirt) zu Hause in der Nähe von Preveza. Die roten Kalamares sind der Hammer. Auch die Auberginen sind sehr lecker. Taramas ist sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir sind äußerst angenehm überrascht worden . Ein freundlicher Empfang kam als erstes , die Speisen waren vorzüglich . Normalerweise mag ich keine Pommes , aber diese waren tatsächlich selbst gemacht . Der Salat frisch , das Fleisch auf dem Punkt . Sehr freundliche und kompetente Bedienung . We arrived in Flensburg on Saturday and spontaneously decided to find a restaurant. After initially being told that the place was fully booked, the friendly owner came back out to us and said they had a table for two available for another hour. That's quite unusual, so we were very impressed to get a table on a Saturday at such short notice. However, a reservation is definitely necessary. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and the menu features typical Greek dishes, including schnitzel. There's something for everyone. Our plates were huge, the meat was perfectly cooked, the fries were crispy, and the rice was well-seasoned. Of course, we finished with an ouzo. The staff was very warm and attentive. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant.

We were on a short visit to Sleepy Holstein and were captivated by the beauty of Flensburg. By chance, we stumbled upon the Santorini Tavern and were equally impressed by the very hospitable service, the Greek friendliness, and, last but not least, the delicious, typically Greek dishes. We were there on a Monday evening and could see that the place was packed. And rightly so! A real recommendation!

Best Greek restaurant! Super crispy yet tender gyro and perfectly juicy liver, a dream! Just the right amount of seasoning, not too much, but not too little! The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The rice was also excellent! The tzatziki with dill was impeccable. Only the salad was standard. But that's beside the point in my opinion. The ouzo to finish was also very tasty. P.S.: The small portion was as large as the regular dishes at other restaurants. We'd be happy to come back 😊

Taverne Santorini Flensburg – Important Notice for Guests Yesterday, three of us planned to dine at Taverne Santorini in Flensburg and were really looking forward to it due to the many positive reviews. We had previously inquired by phone – a reservation wasn't necessary. What disappointed us, however, was that upon entering the restaurant, we learned that card payments weren't accepted. There was a notice at the entrance ("No card payments, cash only"), but this exact information should have been communicated to us over the phone. So, we arrived without any way to pay – and that after a long drive across Flensburg. Especially these days, when card payments are a given for many, such a notice should definitely have been provided in advance – by phone or on the website. That would have saved us the unnecessary trip. It's a shame, because we were really looking forward to the Greek food. We're not sure yet whether we'll try again. Conclusion: Please note in advance: The Santorini Tavern in Flensburg accepts cash payments only. A clear statement about this over the phone would have been very welcome.

We spontaneously went to Santorini for dinner this evening. Every dish was excellent. I particularly want to highlight the saganaki (baked soft cheese). The food (classic gyro) was great. The meat was tender and crispy. The tzatziki was very well made. Beforehand, we had small pieces of bread with tzatziki. The salad was prepared with love. Everything was very well prepared. We are very satisfied and would like to recommend it. Thank you for the delicious meal.

We had to stay in Flensburg for a week, which was unplanned. Of course, we made good use of our time, got to know Flensburg a little better, and even treated ourselves to four dinners. You can tell that the cooking and work here is done with passion. In conclusion: If you're looking for good Greek food in a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

Well, where do I begin... The reception was very friendly, top-notch. We sat outside the restaurant in what I'd call a beer garden, right on the street. The table was wobbly, and the couple next to them were just chain-smoking with e-cigarettes. The street was audible and annoying. The appetizer was okay, but not a highlight. They offered Kalamata olives, which came in small, quite small olives, which were only close to being delicious Kalamata olives. My main course was gyros topped with Metaxa sauce, while my wife had souvlaki and gyros. Both looked very good, but tasted completely boring. The souvlaki wasn't seasoned at all. No typical Greek spices, not even a hint of lemon. The gyros was very close to being edible. Completely dry and had probably been on the skewer for too long. And here, too, it was completely flavorless. The Metaxa sauce was okay, but it didn't make up for the fact that the fries weren't even remotely tasty. Dear restaurateur, please just taste it and add a little more of the typical Greek spices.

Taverna Santorini was an unexpectedly wonderful discovery late into the day in Flensburg Mürwik. The owner, Nizza, and his team are truly hospitable people who make you feel truly welcome and very well received. It was so convincing that we ate there several times during our long weekend in Flensburg. The quality of the food is top-notch and truly delicious. Since we visit Flensburg several times a year, I can honestly say that we have definitely found my "favorite Greek restaurant." I went there spontaneously for the first time today with my little family. No reservation, no problem. The ambience is both modern and rustic. The service is very nice and attentive. The store was very busy, which speaks for itself. And the food was really amazing! And lavish, just as you would hope for in a Greek restaurant! Giros crispy, bifteki well seasoned and the skewer super juicy! My daughter was asked in advance if she would also like a tomato and cucumber in pieces, which I thought was really nice in addition to her children's plate because we all got salads. Greetings from the kitchen were bread and delicious tzatziki with wums and an ouzu, of course. 5 out of 5 stars with an additional star. Oh well, the price was also absolutely fair. Bravo keep it up! The food was really good, fries were crispy and the size was perfect. The meat was sometimes very dark, but still edible. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The prices are completely okay. Was back today and that was unfortunately not so good, food was delicious. We were then more or less thrown out because the next ones were already waiting and the box of packed food was simply wiped with something served on the table (not my own). Ordered something to take away, which was ok.

Will be our new regular Greek after Zorbas in Glücksburg closes.

Fresh ingredients, authentic preparation and lovingly prepared plates – every dish tastes as if it came straight from a Greek family kitchen. Particularly recommended are the gratinated shepherd's cheese, the butter-tender lamb and of course the homemade tzatziki. The service? First class! Friendly, attentive and with genuine hospitality – every wish will be fulfilled here. There is also a great selection of Greek wines to round off the taste experience. I'm so excited about the food and the staff there, it's always a pleasure to eat with Nizar and his team, I've been my regular Greek in Flensburg for years! :)

The food was very tasty, we were there with the family for my father's birthday and received top service from Nezar. We immediately felt at home and would love to come back. :)
