Five of us were there on a Friday evening. The food was very good. We had 2 x pasta (with sugo and with truffles) and 3 x pizza. We sat outside. Even though the table seemed small, the experienced, friendly waiter somehow managed to get everything on the table. We stayed there for three hours and really enjoyed the stay. The wine was also delicious (Vette, Sauvignon blanc). Go there and have fun.

Good Italian with nice staff that gives great service

Great Italian restaurant, we arrived a little late (9:30 p.m.) and we were still warmly welcomed by the owner. Very friendly, speaks German, English, French, Italian. For the cuisine, nothing to say, truffle pasta and pasta with sausage sauce are excellent. Flawless, thank you again!

Can’t comment on the food, but sat at a table for 20 minutes and our order wasn’t taken (not even drinks) we were basically ignored. A similar thing happened to a table next to us. The serving staff seemed impatient with customers, so we left without ordering

The Vino e Libri is a wonderful restaurant that is unfortunately very rare to find today - a place of culinary and spiritual bliss! The restaurant is run by a family who lives for this restaurant, whose life this restaurant is. Pictures of family members hang in the dining room, one father stands in the kitchen, his wife serves, her sister runs the counter, the grappa is refined according to his own recipe... the food is excellent - the house wine is always a good choice (but there is also very good bottled wines) and all at really moderate prices.... Every time I enter this restaurant, the feeling of comfort, relaxation, security and pure enjoyment spreads through me. And every time I leave the restaurant, I look forward to the next visit! It's great luck that there are (still) places like this in this city! And I hope they last forever... See you soon, at Vino e Libri!

We were at Vino e libri with our team of 14. The food was wonderful, plentiful and the boss was thoughtful and very friendly. Gladly again.

The place is really good. Not so many tables but the atmosphere is intimate.

We were a group of 4 friends that wanted to try a restaurant recommended to us by a friend. The food was sensationally good! I had the monk fish and tomato sauce dish as a starter, then the family favourite Fregola! And to finish I had the chocolate compote. The food definitely did all the talking and we left happy customers.I will mention that a friend of mine received his starter and main at the same time and another friend didn’t receive his starter at all. This was all fixed by the manager. It was just unfortunate we couldn’t eat together. Everyone was pleased with the food and the wine. I’ve knocked a few stars off purely for the service. We would all like to go back.

Eine Empfehlung von Bekannten, die sich gelohnt hat: der Pulpo war perfekt und die typisch sardische Pasta als auch die Pasta mit Salsicia waren lecker. Kommen gerne wieder.

Amazing Italian food! Very good service with a smile :-) My friends and I ate here last night and had a wonderful time. The pizza gorgonzola especially we loved.

Sehr gutes Restaurant. Das Essen, die Getränke und das Service - allen waren gut. Und die Stimmung ist gut - beide innen und außen. Die Bedienung war rau, aber positiv rau: informell und freundlich. Die Leute sind echt aus Italien (bzw. Sardinien). Nur die Mozzarella war etwas enttäuschend, die Qualität war nicht so gut, der Salat daneben war uninteressant und es war sehr klein für den Preis. Alles anderes war 1a. Sie haben auch Sardische lokale Spezialitäten.

Ottimo ristorante, nessuna attesa, cordiali e prezzi appropriati

Mussten fast eine Stunde auf das Essen warten. Pasta Vongole waren zu 80% leere Muscheln. Service war aufmerksam.

Die Pizza al tonno war nichts Besonderes. Die Fregole-Portion war zu klein und mit sehr wenig Fisch, dafür mit viel Knoblauch. Dafür sind die Preise zu hoch, ich muss nicht wieder hin.

Leider hat es uns aus nicht geschmeckt. Alle drei Essen war nicht wirklich bzw. nur sehr schlecht gewürzt und der Preis dafür sehr hoch. Das Ambiente ist recht nett, dennoch ist es sehr laut. Deshalb kann ich diesen Italiener nicht weiterempfehlen. Die Kellner/Kellnerinnen war freundlich!

Forse il miglior ristorante in cui poter passare una serata piacevolissima tra cibo squisito, vino di qualità, prezzi onesti e gentilezza. Un ambiente elegante e familiare come pochi a Berlino, impossibile trovare un difetto. Consigliatissimo sotto ogni punto di vista!

Authentic Italian restaurant, the food was spectacular, the atmosphere was romantic and chilled. I loved my “pepata di cozze and insalata di frutti di mare” I felt like I was in Italy. The service is amazing, everyone is so nice, friendly and lovely. I had the pleasure to meet the owners, such lovely and polite people. I highly recommend this restaurant. 10/10. I couldn’t be happier.

Absolutely amazing food and service! Some of the best pasta I’ve had. Enjoyed both truffle pasta and a pizza with Buffalo Mozzarella, tomatoes and basil on it. The truffle pasta is one of the best dishes I’ve enjoyed in a long time. Perfectly balanced, sauce was so flavorful but not heavy and the truffles really got to shine. Enjoyed some lovely tiramisu as well. So light and creamy. Sweetest people running the restaurant. Sad that I don’t live in Berlin so I could enjoy this place often, but I will definitely return the next time I am.

I had the Malloreddusu made with salciccia and it was absolutely wonderful. Nice service and best spot in Prenzlauerberg. Loved it and recommend it.

Leider nur 3 Sterne, da es Highlights und Lowlights gab. Highlights: Sehr nette Bedienung, leckere Muschelpasta und sehr tolle Atmosphäre. Lowlights: Warmer, mittelprächtiger Rotwein (Übrigens nur eine Sorte in der Karte) und leider fast kalte Trüffelpasta. Zudem sehr hochpreisig. Müsste man mehr erwarten können…..

Everything is wonderful: the food is great, weekly menu, the chef knows his trade. The service is very polite and professional, they are like family, always in a good mood. We always have a great time here. Sitting outside in summer is nice because the street is very calm and inside it is very cozy.

Ich kann die Bewertung von 4,3 kaum nachvollziehen! Ich bin selten so unzufrieden aus einem Restaurant gegangen. Hauptgang vergessen, Fehler seitens Restaurant nicht eingestanden. Dazu noch komplett überteuert! Nie wieder!

Perfekter Ort: liebenswerte Menschen und tolle sardische Küche!

das Wort Vino im Restaurantname versprach zunächst eine gewisse Passion und Weinvielfalt. Jedoch fand sich nur ein einziger Rotwein auf der Karte. Dieser wird zugleich gesondert mit einem Datenblatt im Restaurant beworben. 0,1 bis 0,2l kosten 7,50€ bei einem Wein der im Retailsegment bei 11,50€ liegt. Zugleich war er noch nichtmal besonders gut. Wohingegen die Pizza sehr zu empfehlen ist. Gute Zutaten und original Zubereitung die Spaß macht. Insgesamt passt für mich die Preiskalkulation bei Getränken und der Vorspeise nicht, was bei mir keinen fairen Eindruck und somit ein schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hinterlässt. Hausgrappa für 4€ und eine Extrazutat für die Pizza für 2,50€ runden das Paket ab.

Leider sehr enttäuschend... das Essen hatte mir gar nicht geschmeckt und war meiner Meinung nach, echt überteuert... Die Restaurantgäste benehmen sich in einer asozialen Art und Weise... sehr laut und rücksichtslos, sehr laute Gespräche...auch nach 22 Uhr! Ich dachte immer, im Restaurant isst man, aber nein, es ist nicht der Fall dort... Das Essen war weniger als mittelmässig... Ich war schon sehr oft in Italien und dort hatte ich nie so schlecht gegessen... Die Betreiber des Restaurants "Vino e Libri" essen das wahrscheinlich hier gar nicht, was dem Gästen serviert wird...

First of all, the staff are wonderful. They are most wonderfully kind, you feel welcome the moment you're inside. They are practically fluent in German, English and Italian and maybe other languages too. 5/5 The food is great as well. The menu features several Sardinian dishes and has a big enough selection that everyone can get what they like, without overwhelming you with options. The food is prepared with love for the history, for the ingredients and for cooking in general. Also, not expensive at all. Well worth the money. 5/5 Great atmosphere indoors. The interior design and music is fitting for the theme while still remaining stylish. The overall experience is great and if I had the possibility, I would eat here again. 5/5!

Absolut begeistert! Vino et libri hat super leckere, sizilianische Gerichte und die Besitzer des Restaurants sind herzlich und gastfreundlich. Der Vibe ist authentisch, ausgefallen & man ist definitiv glücklich! Der Abend hätte nicht schöner sein können!

We had an amazing night here. We ordered Trüffel and salsiccia, both were really tasty! The service was excellent as well, and the atmosphere was just wonderful, with live music. Absolutely as expected.

Not aggressively al dente, but al dente. The pasta with botarga is exactly what you would hope for. The service was very cheerful and helpful and encouraged us to have a good time. I can't speak to the deserts, because the savory part of the meal was just so damn good, I never had room for a desert. I was very happy eating at Vino e Libri and will do it again.

An amazing decor and concept with delicious food and wine from Sardegnia

Very good Italian restaurant with focus on Sicilian dishes. So the menu is slightly different to other Italien restaurants. The pasta was very good, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere very cozy. 👌🏼

If you are looking for good Italian food, you have to go to Vino e Libri! I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the original italian cuisine, the food was delicious! In the menu, you also can find tipical food and wine from Sardinia. The staff is extremely friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

6 Sterne. Top Essen. Top Service. Alles hausgemacht. Panna cotta war das, was der Name sagt. Linguine mit Trüffel genial. Selten so gut gegessen. Aber unbedingt reservieren.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und sehr gut gegessen. Von der Vorspeise über den Hauptgang bis zur Nachspeise und die Hausweine. Alles sehr lecker. Das Personal ist auch sehr nett.

Onwijs lekker gegeten en gedronken bij dit Sardijnse restaurant. De bediening is erg gastvrij en ze komen graag een praatje maken zonder opdringerig te zijn. Toen wij er waren was er helaas geen pizza, maar de sardijnse pasta’s en wijn zijn erg aan te raden. Super leuke locatie vlakbij de Torstrasse waar je rustig buiten kunt zitten.

Amazing food and incredible personal service. We ordered takeout during the lockdown with several different meals as well as one custom meal due to allergies. The food was extremely good and the owners took very good care of all hygiene rules. I can recommend this place as the best italian food in Berlin!

Meat was dry, risotto too salty and tiramisu biscuits also dry...probably because of Monday they had no real chef in the kitchen

We were here last night and I ordered the truffle pasta. Walked away after spending about 28€ for a flavourless meal and two half-foam beers and still hungry. Waiters were very attentive at the beginning and gradually became non-existent. I've found Italian restaurants in Berlin to be fantastic or disappointing - rarely in between. This is the latter.

Seit 17 Jahren (zuvor in der Torstraße) einer meiner Lieblings-Pizzabäcker in Berlin, guter sardischer Hauswein. Aber auch jenseits der Pizza: hervorragende Küche, nettes Personal, abwechslungsreiche Tages-/Wochenkarte, schönes Ambiente.
