The dumplings were truly delicious. We had the Gao Pork and Corn and the Soup Dumplings, and we were very impressed with both dishes. The service was super fast and friendly. We just found the prices quite expensive, as the portions were really small and felt more like snacks than full meals. However, we would still come back again and again because it was truly delicious.

The Veg stuff is horrible. The Boss is not a nice person.

I had a "Vegan Platter" for lunch, the service was pretty fast. The big problem was that all the dumplings were completely immersed in a really spicy oil/sauce, which was not explicitly mentioned in the menu (see picture). I hate spicy food and if I'd known that I would have ordered something else. The baos were also spicy inside (or at least I think so, my mouth was on fire). My boyfriend - who likes spicy food - tried to eat the dumplings because we don't like wasting food, but he also struggled a lot and had to leave some. I think they should explicitly say in the menu when something is spicy - and for what I saw they should have mentioned it, since they do for other courses. This would avoid people being unhappy and food being wasted.

Super tasty and fast bao buns and Xiao long bao

Five stars for anyone who really wants their food thrown down by a bunch of girls who don't really care about anything. With service and all that... so maybe there's a "hello"... but apart from that... without the sludge, the place is sad. BONE was good. LODE UND STEIN did a great job; HEIDENPETERS is an institution.

I got a rice bowl with spicy chicken and a platter (not vegetarian). The flavour is good, but the chicken is pretty salty. I can't stop drinking water while eating.

Grabbed the “Dumpling Platter” (which included 7x chicken gaos, 5x pork gaos and 3x pork baos) on lunch offer for 14,90 Euro. It wasn’t outstanding nor terrible. All were slightly on the saltier side. The soup dumplings weren’t hot. Great service and food came out fast. Overall not the best dumplings but got my fix.

The Beef Rice with Potatoes has some shadows of Hong Kong tea restaurants (advantages!), it would be great if it had beef brisket! The taste is not compromised, and you get 2 Euros off during lunch! The pricing is a bit expensive for the portion size and taste.

My first time to eat Gaos. I had chicken and shiitake. They were delicious! I forgot to snap a photo before I ate them and wish I’d ordered more!

The gaos are unreal! Get 14 because you will go back for more if you get less.

Dumplings were good, a little more expensive, but most of them were tasty. Chili oil is also great. Unfortunately, the market hall was overcrowded and we had to munch in a noisy garbage corner. It's a shame actually. Cashless only.

Visiting Berlin from Scotland and don't get Bao dumplings back home. So we ordered the pork and shiitake ones. Well presented, nice tasting and very morerish. Really good.

Coming from South East Asia, I think the dumplings are great! Would recommend the fragrant beef gaos and the pork & prawn wonton! Really like the chili oil on the gaos and how thin the skin is. The xiaolongbao is good too. I mean vegan platters aren't traditionally common in Chinese cuisine in the first place so not sure why people in the comments are upset that it isn't as authentic as they want it to be lol

We had the Vegan Platter. I don't know what's authentic about it. No sauce with the baozi. The Baozi are super salty and flat in taste. For the Jiaozi (Gao) everything is pureed and you can no longer taste the ingredients. Even frozen things are tastier than these. I had two portions, one for a friend to take away. But I'm too embarrassed to bring such bad food. Service staff didn't speak German, but they were nice. Unfortunately not authentic either, but some western people. It's really a shame, actually. The concept seems convincing, but the taste is anything but.

The latest version of the tofu gaos was very good and, at my request, particularly spicy with a very tasty chili oil. Thank you also for the friendly welcome from the owner and the kitchen manager. We had nice conversations and I felt recognized and valued as a customer. I think it's very good how my criticism was handled. If the Gaos are this good again on your next visit, nothing will stand in the way of 5 stars! Previous review: Unfortunately, the vegan Gaos from Streetfood Thursday were very overcooked, and my partner wasn't very enthusiastic either. There was also the "Spicy Chili Sauce", which turned out to be more of a very salty mixture of soy sauce and vinegar, with some red bits in it that were anything but spicy. I also didn't like that I could only tip 10%, more or none at all. For takeaway I think 3-8% is justified, why I can't give anything at all is a shame and makes me feel a bit guilty. That's why I decided on the 10%, which then costs a total of €15 for 14 Gaos (10/24). Rather disappointing for this portion.

I found it disgusting. I have no idea whether it was the preparation or just the dish. I had the bowl with spicy chicken. The meat was fatty skinned and gristly. And when I think of spicy, I imagine chicken to be different. Well, maybe I was just unlucky and all the other dishes are better. But I won't try that anymore. I also found the price to be too high. So regardless of the fact that it didn't appeal to me, the size of the bowl is also rather small.

Tastes really authentic. I can recomment the dumpling platter. Nice and quick service.

Ordered the Xiao Long Bao and waited way too long. They probably forgot the order because when i asked for it they gave me one but the xlb were not steaming hot anymore, also kinda salty inside so dipping them into the soy vinegar sauce made them even saltier. Very disappointed!

As someone who grew up in Singapore, it’s sometimes difficult to find authentic Chinese flavours in Berlin. Bao Gao Club reminds me of my childhood though! I’m obsessed with their vegan dumplings and smashed cucumber. The market gets crowded on weekends, but highly recommend it for a mid-week lunch to break the email crunch. Bao Gao Club, you’re my Bao Bae!

Were there on Street Food Thursday and got 6 pieces for €9.50. the Xiao Bao things get. Unfortunately we didn't really like it. Very little, super expensive and the dark vinegar (?) sauce that came with it was also bad. I always thought the dumplings would be a little bigger...

The food is really delicious and the staff is very friendly. The only catch is the price, as the food is quite expensive in relation to the size of the portions, but again it's probably okay for Berlin.

The food is rather poor value for money. It's not inedible, but different types of dumplings tasted the same and not really anything special. There are certainly much better alternatives on the food market.

worst . Dumpling shop located inside Markt Hallae I ordered xiao long bao... 6 pieces for 9.5 euros. Very small and dry dumplings came out in just 1 minute. The dumplings were not hot and there was no juice inside at all. Small dumplings that look like pieces of plastic.... These are not dumplings. Don't disgrace Xiaolong Bao

Lovely place located in the Markthalle in Kreuzberg, Berlin. We tried a mix of bao, gao, and xiao long bao. Everything was delicious, even though a little overpriced. But in the end the location pays off. Absolutely recommended if you are visiting the Markthalle neu!

I ordered menu with meat, but there was also vegi version available (14.5€ without a drink) Very delicious, my vegetarian friends also enjoyed their meal. Short waiting time. English&card payment (even amex)

Had Asian food craving & the Bao here satisfied our craving! Tried the dumpling meat platter and the pork baos and chicken gaos are really nice! XLB is nice too but could be better if they are steaming hot. The crashed cucumber is also very tasty & goes nicely with the dumplings.

I had a really good experience here with their street food Thursday offering. The food was presented well and really flavorful. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who explained the options and flavors. I ate too quickly I forgot to take pictures. I'll be back to try some other options soon.

Best xlb in town. Most other restaurants in Berlin are using frozen premade dumplings. There was plenty of really flavorful broth in each dumpling. I would liked to have had some fresh ginger slices to have in the dipping sauce

They advertised a "Chinese New Year Celebration!" With lion dance and we assumed music and at least some atmosphere. But it was a food stand with overpriced tiny portions. Just a marketing ploy to trick people. Shameless. EDIT: I arrived shortly after 12 noon -- 30 minutes after beginning of the "event". The lion dance lasted probably 10 minutes, nothing but a marketing ploy, and these dishonest people dare to call me a liar.

Was there for Chinese new year. The xiaolongbao portion was so small. 6 small pieces for 9 euros it’s ridiculous, and the xiaolongbao itself it’s not hot enough, felt like it’s already been on the table for 10mins
