Loved the dumpling platter! Very tasty food!

Ordered the Xiao Long Bao and waited way too long. They probably forgot the order because when i asked for it they gave me one but the xlb were not steaming hot anymore, also kinda salty inside so dipping them into the soy vinegar sauce made them even saltier. Very disappointed!

As someone who grew up in Singapore, it’s sometimes difficult to find authentic Chinese flavours in Berlin. Bao Gao Club reminds me of my childhood though! I’m obsessed with their vegan dumplings and smashed cucumber. The market gets crowded on weekends, but highly recommend it for a mid-week lunch to break the email crunch. Bao Gao Club, you’re my Bao Bae!

Delicious and authentic Chinese food, but unfortunately a bit low for the price. 18€ for a dumpling plate that doesn't fill you up is too expensive. Food good, ambience good but TOO EXPENSIVE.

The Chicken Shitake Gao/Dumplings were so incredibly delicious. The best I've ever eaten. But it's relatively expensive considering it's a stand and not a restaurant (€8 for 6 pieces). Still worth it 🥲

Were there on Street Food Thursday and got 6 pieces for €9.50. the Xiao Bao things get. Unfortunately we didn't really like it. Very little, super expensive and the dark vinegar (?) sauce that came with it was also bad. I always thought the dumplings would be a little bigger...

The food is really delicious and the staff is very friendly. The only catch is the price, as the food is quite expensive in relation to the size of the portions, but again it's probably okay for Berlin.

The food is rather poor value for money. It's not inedible, but different types of dumplings tasted the same and not really anything special. There are certainly much better alternatives on the food market.

worst . Dumpling shop located inside Markt Hallae I ordered xiao long bao... 6 pieces for 9.5 euros. Very small and dry dumplings came out in just 1 minute. The dumplings were not hot and there was no juice inside at all. Small dumplings that look like pieces of plastic.... These are not dumplings. Don't disgrace Xiaolong Bao

Lovely place located in the Markthalle in Kreuzberg, Berlin. We tried a mix of bao, gao, and xiao long bao. Everything was delicious, even though a little overpriced. But in the end the location pays off. Absolutely recommended if you are visiting the Markthalle neu!

I ordered menu with meat, but there was also vegi version available (14.5€ without a drink) Very delicious, my vegetarian friends also enjoyed their meal. Short waiting time. English&card payment (even amex)

Had Asian food craving & the Bao here satisfied our craving! Tried the dumpling meat platter and the pork baos and chicken gaos are really nice! XLB is nice too but could be better if they are steaming hot. The crashed cucumber is also very tasty & goes nicely with the dumplings.

Delightful. The Bam Buns were pure joy, the amount of filling was sufficed and the bun was light and moist. Should try if you’re in the market.

I had a really good experience here with their street food Thursday offering. The food was presented well and really flavorful. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who explained the options and flavors. I ate too quickly I forgot to take pictures. I'll be back to try some other options soon.

We ordered the pork bao and the chicken gao. Both of them were delicious! The atmosphere in the food market is great.

Best xlb in town. Most other restaurants in Berlin are using frozen premade dumplings. There was plenty of really flavorful broth in each dumpling. I would liked to have had some fresh ginger slices to have in the dipping sauce

They advertised a "Chinese New Year Celebration!" With lion dance and we assumed music and at least some atmosphere. But it was a food stand with overpriced tiny portions. Just a marketing ploy to trick people. Shameless. EDIT: I arrived shortly after 12 noon -- 30 minutes after beginning of the "event". The lion dance lasted probably 10 minutes, nothing but a marketing ploy, and these dishonest people dare to call me a liar.

Was there for Chinese new year. The xiaolongbao portion was so small. 6 small pieces for 9 euros it’s ridiculous, and the xiaolongbao itself it’s not hot enough, felt like it’s already been on the table for 10mins

Unfortunately there was no Chinese New Year celebration in the market hall today as announced on a flyer from Bao Gao. We were there at 12 and didn't see any lion dancing, music or any decorations. There was only 1 Chinese food stall with a long wait. Then we left again

Tasty, but the portions (at least when it comes to the bao and gao, I didn't try any other dishes) are really a bit small for the price.

Their vegan Bao is AMAZING! Wholesome flavourful filling in fluffy warm buns - perfect snack for a cold winter evening. The stuffed tofu is a must try - can fried/steamed tofus taste this good?! Would definitely go back for more. Spring Update: went back for more and to try their new Gaos: the vegan ones with the chilli soybean sauce are a flavour explosion. The scallion oil noodles are fantastic as always. Tip: They have party platters which are great for sharing!

Tried the beef pancakes. 3 for 10 euros and they were pretty great.

Super tasty dumplings! Tried the normal portion of pork bao and was surprised at how tasty they were, chili oil was fragrant and packed full of flavour. Was very hard not to immediately get more. Meant to take picture but I just couldn't help but finish them right away. Service was extremely quick and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Das Etaplissmo fügt sich nahtlos in das Ambiente der Markthalle Neun ein und bereichert diese um eine weitere facettenreiche Geschmacksdimension. Ein Besuch im Bao Gao Club ist mehr als nur eine Mahlzeit - es ist ein kulinarisches Abenteuer, das man nicht verpassen sollte!

Beste Dumplings in der Stadt. Sehr sehr lecker, vegan, fairer Preis und authentisch. Sowohl Lieferung per Wolt als auch Besuch in der Markthalle sind sehr empfehlenswert.

Was able to order in English which was great as a tourist! The platter for 1 was delicious and the salad was unlike any I’ve had before!

Edit: the owner really followed through on their offer to fix the initial situation, despite Lieferando providing no support (to them either it seems!). They went out of their way to work to find a solution. Looking forward to ordering again and trying the other dumplings! -- Ordered almost 90 euros of delivery of mixed dumplings. Received part of the order. Everything was pork despite ordering a mixed platter (so nothing arrived for vegetarians). No sauces were delivered. Lieferando customer service was horrible to complain.

Great food and vibes, all fresh! Highly recommend if you like dumplings, Chinese buns and tasty sauces - it’s my regular on my way home many evenings. Wing, the kitchen master, is the man.

The food is very good and the attention is friendly. It's best to order several dishes or the larger portions if you want to fill up though 😋

Super lecker - original chinesische Küche mit extrem leckeren Baozi, Jiaozi Gurkensalat und allem, was dazu gehört! Lohnt sich sehr für einen Besuch und den Bauch zu füllen. ;-)

Authentisches chin. Essen mit freundlicher Bedienung und schöner Atmosphäre. Einer der wenigen Orte in Berlin, wo alles passt. In der Regel gibt authentisches Essen in Berlin nur im Imbiss-Style mit Leuchtstoffröhren-Atmosphäre.

I went for the lunch special - the portions were large inspite of some reviews on here. Note the lunch special starts at 10 Euros ... I went for ; 1.Pork and Corn Gao with chilli oil - LOVED it ... it was really filling 2. Pork Bao - only 1 piece and really enjoyed it. Soft and pillow but not the kind that get stuck on your teeth. Delicious 3. Smashed Cucumber - DIVINE ! Service was prompt and they opened bang on at 12

The cucumber salad was amazing, but the vegan version of the Baos and Gaos lacked a bit in flavour. Good vibe though

The bao/gao were good but not amazing. The price is really high for such a portion. For half the price you can eat more dumplings at the food market ostbahnhof. The things in the picture were almost 15€.

Best smashed cucumber salad I ever had so far. The cucumber was fresh and crunchy. The flavor was fantastic and not to garlic dominant. The dumplings were great as well!

I had the Bao Gao’s Party set and it was delicious - I particularly enjoyed the veg Bao, cucumber salad and their spicy sauce. The location in Markthalle 9 is also one of my favorites - highly recommended!
