Vincenzo, italian Restaurant, Bar, am Alexanderplatz Berlin in Berlin

We went there as a school class and I was very disappointed. The food was very expensive, drinks even more so. For 14 euros I got a Caesar salad, which consisted of little more than a handful of lettuce. A 0.75l bottle of water cost 6.90 euros. The waitress asked our teacher to remind us that they gladly accept tips, even though we were 15-16 year old students. They then asked each of the 25 students individually for their tips, some of them complaining that they were too small. The "leather" on the seats/couch was torn in places. The food itself tasted good, though.

It's fine. Waiter pressured me into leaving more tip. So he got an extra euro and I'm leaving this bad review.

Rude staff and complete ignorance. Thank God we didn't eat anything. Absolutely not recommended, the worst restaurant. And the place is dirty everywhere.

Waiters at the end ask for a ‘tip for service’, I felt very pressured into giving a tip, which is definitely not the norm where I am from and makes me uncomfortable as Im already paying a very fair amount for the food and drink. The waiter scoffed at me when he saw the tip amount, and began talking in very condescending manner, shaming me in a language I did not understand as he walked away, making sure staff and customers alike all knew of my tip amount and his opinion of it. I find this terrible and an absolute disgrace, ruined the whole experience. I have tipped many times where I am from when a waiter, or service staff does very well and I am compelled to tip. I used to wait on tables myself and understand rewarding great work. Walking a plate from the kitchen to a table is not great work, It is baseline expectation. I would love to talk to the manager and understand why they aren’t paid a liveable wage and instead rely on intimidation tactics on customers. EDIT… My partner has woken up with food poisoning forcing us to cancel flights out of the country. From a tomato soup…. How does a tomato soup get that screwed up. DO NOT EAT HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY.

We visited this restaurant for a quick dinner after a long day. The food was enjoyable and the service was pleasant throughout the meal. However, our experience took a disappointing turn when it came time to settle the bill. While tipping is customary, it’s not mandatory—and in this case, we didn’t feel the level of service justified a higher tip. The server became noticeably aggressive after seeing the tip amount we chose to leave. After processing the payment, he walked away and was overheard speaking in German—swearing and discussing the gratuity with another staff member—while still within earshot of us and other guests, including families with children. This extremely unprofessional behaviour unfortunately overshadowed what had otherwise been a positive visit. While the food and initial service were commendable, the final interaction left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. I would hesitate to recommend this establishment unless you’re indifferent to, or unable to understand, German—so you’re not subjected to hearing such inappropriate remarks.

It tastes great! No long wait. The music was very calm, and this place is wonderful. The staff are also very friendly! Great place to eat and relax. Drinks are full and cold. So great. The food was served very fresh. Tasted great!

Even with a small number of guests, everything takes a long time, and some things get forgotten. Nevertheless, the food itself is delicious. The price-performance ratio isn't very good.

We wanted to give a tip of almost €5.00. The waiter then pointed out that this wasn't even 10% and that all the employees had to share. He then rudely said, "Well, what do we do now?" We then gave the 10% tip out of politeness. That's completely unacceptable, since tipping isn't mandatory.

Pizzas with a great lack of cheese!! They are not expensive but there are not cheese in either, it’s a pity as the service and cocktails were very good.

I can't say anything about the food, as I only had liquids, but... I was in Berlin for a professional training course and happened to end up at Vincenzo with two colleagues. We were pleasantly surprised! We were immediately greeted outside by Ali, who was super friendly and witty, and who also made the afternoon more enjoyable with stimulating and witty conversations! We had cocktails, and they were delicious. We also had a few special requests that weren't on the menu, and even those were prepared for us. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the service and ambiance are truly inviting. I'll definitely go back on my next visit! Oh... and thanks, Ali, for the delicious farewell shots. 😉

Very attentive waiters and good cocktails for suitable prices. Ali is a funny manager who knows to entertain you.

Highly recommended. The service is always attentive, and there's not much time between ordering and serving the food. We went there several times with a larger group and were completely satisfied.

We had a wonderful meal there after the birthday party. The food was just as delicious as last time, so we like to eat there every now and then. I can highly recommend it.

Tragedy. We ordered from the menu: Chicken DeLuxe, Nachos Bruschetta and Pizza Chorizo....never again. The food on the photos on the menu looked attractive, but in reality we received dishes prepared from old ingredients that we did not want to eat. Disgusting and unhealthy. This restaurant is a scam. I do not recommend.

Bad service, you get harassed if you don't tip. The cleaning lady runs around cleaning. Food is cold, and you get the wrong drinks that you didn't order.

Because we didn't tip for the wrong drinks and lukewarm food, we were loudly and very unpleasantly and rudely asked why. We'd rather go to another restaurant on Alexanderplatz. We won't be going there again.

The food was okay and arrived very quickly. The waitress was very stressful and came by every 5 minutes. We received the main course immediately after the starter and after the last bite the plate was literally dragged away. Most of us felt uncomfortable and displaced. Otherwise good 👍

Excellent restaurant, it was my third time there, the service is excellent, the dishes are very tasty, especially the pasta and pizza. Cocktails for every taste, lots of alcohol in the cocktails and dessert just goes straight to the heart ♥️

Staff overwhelmed. After ordering, waited over 30 minutes for 1x bruschetta. But it should be paid for when paying for the drinks.

The food was good, as was the ambiance. What killed the mood was the waiter giving us a lecture on tipping and how they rely on tips for a living when we chose not to tip, as it is not obligatory and should always be given not demanded. The service up until that point was fine, nothing special. The waiter really ruined the otherwise positive experience we had of the place.

Lo que mató los ánimos fue el camarero dándonos una conferencia sobre propinas y cómo dependen de las propinas para ganarse la vida cuando elegimos no dar propinas, ya que no es obligatorio y siempre se debe dar no exigido. El servicio hasta ese momento estaba bien, nada especial. El camarero realmente arruinó la experiencia positiva que tuvimos del lugar.

Restaurante muy bien ubicado. Fuimos la noche del Domingo 13 de Abril. Excelente atención por parte de la camarera de terraza. Pedimos ensalada y una pizza y ambas estaban muy ricas. Lo acompañamos con 4 cervezas muy ricas. Hasta aquí todo genial.....de 10!!!! . Y llegó el momento de pagar y la encargada de muy malas formas nos preguntó qué teníamos... No conozco el alemán y me expreso con ciertas dificultades en inglés, pero era fácil entendernos.. Es una maleducada que estropea el excelente servicio de sus compañeros tanto de terraza como de cocina. Mi puntuación sería de un 10 si no hubiera sido por ésto.

Probably the worst meal out I've ever had, with the rudest and most ignorant waiter. Asked for Reisling wine and when he brought us Chardonnay and sent it back he then proceeded to make our meal as unpleasant as possible. Purposely delayed our food coming out so that it was cold. And was rude about us to other customers. We thought this place looked nice from the outside but should have checked the reviews first!

Extremely rude staff. We were served by a waitress who ended up asking for a tip. I didn't want to tip her because of her rudeness, and she asked me in surprise why she didn't get a tip. This trick was used on the others as well. Furthermore, the food wasn't seasoned at all. Overall, I can't recommend the restaurant due to this poor and rude service. I've never experienced anything so rude!

You order one thing and get something else. I ordered an Argentinian steak. They brought me a regular steak, full of fatty tissue. The answer was, "We have a fatty Argentinian steak." I'm a frequent customer there, but everything has changed.

We just arrived at Berlin earlier this morning, and wanted to have dinner after seeing the TV Tower. Hannah waited our table, and was nothing but welcoming and hospitable making sure we were comfortable and having a good time. Especially since it was my mothers birthday! Would highly recommend.

We ate there earlier as a school class and it worked wonderfully. Hannah, our waitress, was super nice and responded to every request. The fact that we got the food to coincide with breaking the fast also worked. ☺️

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant yesterday! Simi, the waitress, was amazing — her friendly and attentive service truly made our visit special. The food was delicious, with great portions and affordable prices. The location is fantastic, offering beautiful views of Alexanderplatz. Gran lugar, tuvimos un buen servicio, el personal era muy agradable. Es agradable sentarse fuera de aquí, solo tomamos copas, pero el ambiente era muy bueno!

Unfortunately it's not possible to rate the food because we left again, so 0 stars would be correct, but unfortunately that's not possible! The days of not being allowed to choose your table or, as in our case, having to clear it because there was room for 6 people and there were only two of us are probably over!!! Mind you, the store was at most half full. We had planned to eat well and plentifully and to stay longer including a cocktail or two, but we did that in Piazza Rossa, just a few steps away and that was perfect!

Place is very big and well located We had drinks and a snack. Drinks were well made but maybe need more alcohol? Nachos were nice but sauces were so so

The atmosphere is very nicely decorated and the young lady named Hannah is very polite and attentive. We have nothing to complain about and are looking forward to a next visit here

Never again!!!! The seats were totally worn out, the table wobbled! The food: What was ordered didn't come! The pizza was cold and didn't taste good! The meat was tough! It was an experience that we would have gladly missed!!!

Was there for a coffee. The coffee was ok. The "waitress" brought it to our table without spilling it. We weren't offered whether we wanted another cup or wanted to look at the menu. That's just a shame because it would be exactly her job. There was still some sauce from the previous person on the table. A typical tourist booth that lives from walk-in customers.

Breakfast is of impressively poor quality - but the service is also poor. Ready-made rolls from the oven, half raw or bone-dry scrambled eggs, Bircher muesli with the consistency of mortar. Here you can find everything your heart couldn't desire.

I got a seat straight away and the food I ordered came very quickly. The restaurant is beautifully designed, making it feel upscale yet comfortable at the same time. The open design means you can see live how baguettes, etc. are formed. The rocket & parmigiano salad is highly recommended for vegetarians! The food was very tasty and the coffee was also delicious, but unfortunately there was no oat milk.

GLUTEN FREE! They have a very extensive menu, with different Allergens indicated. Since we have celiacs in the family, they opted for a couple of GLUTEN-FREE PIZZAS. When we saw how they made them: on the same counter as the normal ones, with the same gloves, the same utensils, the same oven, we complained that this was surely contaminated. The cook did not like our "complaint" at all and, a little angrily, said to withdraw them. But he did not seem convinced. He exchanged them for some sausages (which also said gluten-free), but without sauces just in case. The waitress was very friendly, it must be said, and very apologetic. Furthermore, no one speaks Spanish, and half in English, half in German, we had to explain it. YOU CANNOT HAVE MARKED GLUTEN-FREE WHEN THE EASIEST THING IS CROSS-CONTAMINATION OF THE BOOK

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos explorando por esta parte de la ciudad alrededor de Alexanderplatz cuando decidimos pasar por Vincenzo , un gran restaurante y bar situado en el complejo CineStar Cubix, estado aquí antes en vacaciones anteriores a esta fascinante ciudad, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita a aquí. Un restaurante y bar de gran aspecto, el interior es magnífico, luminoso y espacioso, decoración y mobiliario modernos y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este restaurante y bar tanto dentro como fuera con vistas a la concurrida y bulliciosa Alexanderplatz. Nos sentamos afuera donde un miembro muy agradable del equipo del bar nos sirvió una cerveza cada uno, estos se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones al estar helados fríos y espumosos, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este concurrido y popular lugar mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas. Mi cerveza estaba realmente buena, una cerveza estilo lager dorada, ligera y con lúpulo rebosante de sabor y muy fácil de beber sobre todo cuando se sirve helada fría como en Vincenzo , no es de extrañar que este restaurante y bar sea tan popular entre las cervezas servidas en esta buena condición. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras cervezas sentadas fuera de aquí antes de seguir adelante y como en cada otra visita a aquí nos lo pasamos muy bien. Vincenzo es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Rathausstraße. El horario de apertura es de ; de lunes a domingo, 9 am hasta medianoche. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en el distrito Mitte de Berlín.

There were 6 of us but the meat wasn't cooked through at all and the service wasn't great. We were very disappointed, we paid almost €400 for nothing.

Bad experience!!! We had a very bad experience at this restaurant. The staff treated us badly and charged us an additional amount without informing or asking us about the price beforehand. The red seats were disgusting and broken. Absolutely not recommended!
