Very good food and coffee, good prices just outside Alexanderplatz station

On my way to the disabled toilet, I was first reprimanded for not using it despite having a walking aid. Then came the surprise inside: a cloakroom for staff, a storage room for broken chairs and such, and the toilet itself was...no comment.

Was a great place for lunch and evening drinks. Price is good. Has a good selection of non alcoholic beverage. Cocktails and wine was good too

We wanted to enjoy a relaxing evening, but unfortunately the staff, or rather the owner (or whoever he is), was very unfriendly and bad at calculating change. We had to wait ages for our drinks even though the place was relatively empty. You can understand a lot of things, but not being unfriendly to guests. We will never go there again. Merry Christmas!

You're still the best. I usually go out to eat every weekend with my wife and son, and I was very pleased to experience another act of kindness this week when the waiter thoughtfully gave me a generous change. I was honest about giving it back because I don't want to be constantly stingy. I'm not talking about the staff, the service, the food, anything. I love you endlessly.

Our visit to this supposed Italian restaurant was an absolute disgrace. The carpaccio seemed so questionable that we seriously doubted its freshness. The so-called tarte flambée with chicken smelled disgustingly of fish and was a complete taste disaster. On top of that, the staff behaved in a totally disrespectful and unprofessional manner, clearly having no interest in customer satisfaction. They actually tried to cram the six of us into a tiny table for four, even though it was obvious to everyone that this was completely unacceptable. For €122, we received nothing but frustration, poor service, and inedible food, and we had to go to another restaurant afterward just to get a decent meal. In our opinion, this place is definitely not recommended; it's a prime example of how not to run a restaurant.

We ate here and were very disappointed. The food wasn't tasty and the staff seemed unfriendly. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience – we wouldn't come back. We ordered a tarte flambée with chicken, but unfortunately, it smelled strongly of fish. We couldn't eat it because of this. All in all, a very disappointing experience.

Average fare for a touristy area and a restaurant that serves muesli, pizza, and schnitzel. The music, which had a distinctly Indian feel, was unusual. The spritzers were almost entirely water; it's worth asking for fresh ones – after that, they were just right. My non-alcoholic cocktail consisted almost entirely of ice cubes. The spaghetti alio e olio was very (extremely) garlicky. You have to like garlic. Vegetarian options are available, but they're not exactly a focus of the menu.

Seated fairly quickly. Decent menu. Took a little while for our order to be taken. Ordered starters and mains for 3 of us. Starters arrived 20 mins later, bruschetta was fairly nice. We then did not receive our mains for another 50 minutes after receiving our starters, so around an hour and 10 mins since ordering. We spoke to waiting staff to see where the food was, they did at least check. Unfortunately when the food arrived they only brought 2 of the 3 main courses and did not mention that they had forgotten about the 3rd main. We flagged a waiter down to ask where it was after about 10 mins of waiting - the waiter appeared to know we were without our 3rd main and said it would be soon... 5 mins later still nothing so we asked again, only then did wait staff admit they had forgotten the 3rd course (they blamed the kitchen for this). Why didn't they mention something sooner if they knew the main had been forgotten? We decided to cancel the final main and just share between us as we didn't wish to wait any longer. Food itself was fairly tasty. With better communication we wouldn't have minded so much, but we were left disappointed. Gladly no service charge or 3rd main was included on the bill, and only at the end did we get an apology. On a side note, the music being played was a mixture of Spanish and Indian... Bit weird for an Italian restaurant, strange vibes. Would not return.

The food and drinks are fantastic. The outdoor seating area also offers a great view. The waiters were very attentive and polite. I recommend it, as it's on a busy street.

We chose a wood-fired pizza and a nachos with chicken and sauce. We never found the chicken, only melted cheese. It was the only failed meal in Berlin. The pizza was great. Very good service.

We wondered in after spending the day walking around Berlin we were sat us immediately. Served by Daniel who did a amazing job and spoke to us in great English which was appreciated. We had the pasta for 2 which was incredible especially the Gnocchi and a Salami pizza which was very tasty. Would recommend to anyone in Alexander Platz. Daniel is my guy.

The ambiance and menu are initially very inviting. However, the food and the wait time were disappointing. The appetizers were okay, but the main courses were a letdown. The pizzas were served cold, special requests were ignored, and the pasta dishes were simply bland. Definitely not worth the price. The waiters and waitresses tried their best.

The appetizer was "okay," but the main course was cold and unappetizing. Cheap ingredients and poor preparation... a lot of fuss about nothing. I'd like my money back for the wasted time and effort. The staff was relatively good, but the management was completely unacceptable. From hygiene to the way the employees treated each other, it made a terrible impression from start to finish. You'd be better off in a looter's shop. Good luck with your continued search.

A real rambunctious restaurant, full of action, delicious pizza

Fantastic menu with pictures of all the options and multiple languages on each including English. Great choice for whatever time of day you visit.

We wanted to go there for a nice dinner on a Sunday, we had a table booked for 8pm for a few weeks already but somehow got canceled 2 days before arrival, I then booked it again and even had to confirm a day before that I will make it. We arrived right on time, had to stand at the door for 5 minutes before anyone would come to help us find our table, despite having many eye contacts with 4 different servers no one came to the door. 1 server finally came to help us as we told her we had a reservation for 2 people at 8, she told us to go to a different server. We went to see him and had to stand there for 5 minutes very awkwardly while he finishes to type someone else’s bill in the system. We waited patiently next to him as we see a group of 2 come in after us and getting a table immediately. He then said they were full and asked if we wanted to go upstairs, despite the stereo not working, all tables were occupied and dirty with no server upstairs to help us. and we then went back down having no where to sit so unfortunately we left as the service was appalling.

The food was tasty, but could have been a bit hotter, and taking our order took a while. Otherwise, I'm satisfied and would gladly come again.

I’m not usually someone who leaves reviews, but this place deserves it. The place is really nice, with a great location and excellent prices. When I ordered my dish I didn’t notice it was spicy, and they kindly exchanged it for another one of the same price. They didn’t even let me pay for both dishes even though it was my mistake. Excellent service.

Unfortunately, more than half the food is just cheap frozen food (fries, fish, schnitzel, lasagna, etc.). The only fresh thing was the pizza, and that was it. The lasagna was the biggest disappointment—so dry you couldn't even cut it. A disaster. I wouldn't recommend this place.

During our visit to Berlin, my friends and I decided to go for something Italian – and Vincenzo was a perfect choice! Located near the famous Berlin Radio Tower, it’s an ideal stop while exploring the city. From the moment we walked in, we were charmed by the authentic Italian atmosphere of the interior. We especially loved the beautiful pizza oven, which added a unique touch to the place. We ordered a pizza, Bolognese spaghetti, and tagliatelle with salmon – everything was absolutely delicious! The staff were kind and the setting was very pleasant. If you're looking for quality Italian cuisine in the heart of Berlin, we definitely recommend Vincenzo. We’ll be happy to return on our next visit!

Very slow service despite low occupancy The service at this establishment was unfortunately extremely slow. Experience and waiting time: Although the restaurant was neither busy inside nor outside, it took about 10 minutes before we were even noticed and served by the staff. After ordering, we then had to wait another 10 minutes for a coffee and a large water. Conclusion: The long wait for drinks and the staff's lack of attention were disappointing. This raises concerns about how the service would function when the restaurant is full. There is an urgent need for improvement in the service organization.

The food was delicious and the portions were adequate. Unfortunately, it was very dark inside the restaurant and very bright outside, making it unpleasant to eat there. More lights inside the restaurant would have been necessary. That's the least I would have expected, given the level of service the restaurant claims to offer. The staff were very friendly and checked to see if everything was alright.

Today we had nachos with chicken and lasagna. Both were very good. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is nice but very dark. The benches are worn and showing their age. Overall, though, a good place to eat. Thank you.

I actually got food poisoning from something here. I was sick for days.. YIKES. 😱

We came here as a group of four. They immediately led us to a table and sat us down and brought us the menu. The menu is big and there's something for everyone. Even though the restaurant was kinda full the food was there so fast and it wasn't too expensive. The service is great, the waiters are nice and come by sometimes to ask if everything is alright or if we need something. The atmosphere was amazing, the restaurant looks beautiful and is very clean. The toilets were clean and there has been no problems at all

Vegetable risotto was really delicious... Caesar salad with chicken... hmm... tricky... the chicken was good, but the dressing didn't really fit the dish. Spaghetti carbonara was delicious... Service was friendly... The ambiance was rather dated. Drinks were good.

We were here again. The food (pasta for two) was sensational again. Staff 5*, food 5*. Unfortunately, the interior seems very worn and retro, hence one star deducted. But we'll be back!

Good price-performance ratio, surprisingly in the middle of Berlin

The food was very good (3 pizzas, 1 pasta, 1 lamb). Excellent value for money. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is very busy. The only downside was the ambience, as the restaurant was noisy due to the large number of guests.

Even though we didn't make a reservation, we were assigned a table for three. The service was super friendly, and our order arrived very quickly. It was a wonderful evening before heading to the Festival of Light. We had a really good meal, and the atmosphere was cozy. You can even watch the pizza maker at work in the stone oven. Alexanderplatz doesn't have many great places to eat, but it was wonderful here. We'll definitely be back, thank you for everything.

They didn't bring what was ordered, but they charged for it. Only after repeated reminders was the bill corrected. The food was OK.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, we had lovely dinners on Sat Sept 13 and Mon Sept 15. Gaffhar, the waiter, was amazing, his friendly and attentive service truly made our visit special. The food was delicious, with great portions and affordable prices. The location is fantastic, offering beautiful views of Alexanderplatz. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience! We'll definitively come back when we visit Berlin again. Everything was great and we had a great time!

Horrible! We had a reservation for dinner the day before the Berlin Marathon, and it turns out that even if you have a reservation you don't get a table. We felt totally ripped off by this restaurant, as we trusted that we could have dinner for 6 people and they left us on the street without being able to have dinner. Their argument was that people without a reservation had occupied the reserved tables. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! If you want to have a good dinner in Alexanderplatz go to the Mio Berlin restaurant!

Terrible! We ordered and waited over half an hour, and our order didn't even arrive! The melted ice cream and drink weren't what they said on the menu! Very rude staff! Poor value for money! Today, after four years, I went back... and they refused to let us use the bathroom because we hadn't ordered, even though my friend was pregnant. The pizza chef was arrogant and rude! I still don't recommend it after four years!

horrible service we ate a soup which was delicious but at the end of the lunch we asked to pay ( were students ) and asked for no tip cause the waiter didnt smile once or didnt even do anything kind actually, he said « If youre not giving any tip next time you can eat at the macdonald’s ». We came here for breakfast with our little daughter. We were warmly welcomed by the two waitresses, and the little one was given a cookie. The service was excellent and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and absolutely reasonable! A sturdy changing table is available outside the restrooms. Highly recommended for a relaxing stop at Alex!

Great service with amazing food I had the schwineschnitzel with a radler beer the atmosphere inside was okey and outside great. The waiters were really nice and quick with the food. When I’m back in Berlin I’ll definitely go eat here again.

Food was good, they didn’t have the Wiener Schnitzel but I got the entrecot instead. It tasted good. After dinner, things got a little sketchy. My friend wanted to pay inside, but he didn’t want to tip, because the price just reflected the food with tip. You don’t believe it, the waiter didn’t let him pay. The waiter came outside to let our other friend pay. When he also didn’t give a tip, he became a little angry. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. I was happy there were more people, so the waiter could not get too angry. DON’T GO HERE if you think tipping is only necessary when the service+food/price quality is ok.

Unfortunately, there were no gluten-free pizzas (10 to 12 euros) or pasta because they were out of dough. If I'm advertising it these days, I should be able to serve it. Okay, there's also gluten-free food. If you like, you can have a salad 🥗 or even a beef fillet for 35 euros. It's just a small difference. It's a shame that a successful day suddenly ends badly.

The food was terrible, tasteless, the glasses were dirty, the drinks weren't even carbonated. The meat tasted cheap and bland, and overall, everything was way too expensive for the poor quality. On top of that, the service was rude, and I don't even want to write about what I saw in the restroom because it was so disgusting. All in all, a very, very bad experience, and I regret this visit enormously. Never again.

Pretty good food, seemed a bit pricy for what it was. Drinks (like water and soft drinks) started at like 4€, and a 0,75l bottle cost 7€, so be wary if you're coming here super thirsty. We had been walking around for a while and hoping for a nice drink, but ended up just getting 1 soft drink and a large water to split between 5 due to the price. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of.

It is advertised as an Italian restaurant but it ain’t. Turkish music being played. The couple of drinks we’ve ordered were wrongly brought to us, pieces of glass lying in the sitting area…. A no no as the service was bad too

We ate there with the family yesterday. The food was excellent; everything tasted delicious. Everything was beautifully presented and served. We were thrilled. Only the pizza was a bit burnt and hard. We wouldn't order it again. Apart from the pizza, everything was very, very good. The chef even introduced himself personally and asked if everything was okay. He was very friendly, polite, and helpful. We will eat there more often from now on.

Vincenzo's restaurant offers excellent food – everything is fresh and delicious. The service is fine, though not particularly engaging. The atmosphere is decent – pleasant, but without the "wow" factor. Unfortunately, we were unpleasantly surprised by the 19% surcharge for waiter service, which we weren't informed about in advance. Still, it's worth a visit, but be careful with the bill.

The base of the pizza is always burnt and not at all nice.

We enjoyed a few cocktails yesterday on the terrace of Vincenzo at Alex in Berlin. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service simply top-notch! Our waiter, Chafar, was super friendly, took time for a pleasant conversation, and did his job with a lot of heart. The drinks were truly delicious. An all-around successful evening; we'll definitely be back! 🍸🌟

The staff are friendly, the food comes quickly and tastes good. Everything is clean, and the service is attentive. You feel comfortable and are treated well.

Unfortunately, we discovered that there was no gluten-free pizza and no gluten-free pasta either. The waiter said they were out of stock. We could have a salad, and that evening, when we were looking forward to a nice pizza, only the steak was gluten-free, for €26 instead of €12-13 for a pizza. That's how this rating comes about. If you write gluten-free on a menu and on the internet these days, you have to stick to it. It's not too much to ask that you have the dough ready, and if not, you can make it in 5 minutes—it's not rocket science.

The staff is not only attentive, but also incredibly warm and accommodating – you immediately feel welcome. The food? Simply amazing! Fresh, authentic, and prepared with love – typically Italian. The prices are also more than fair, especially for this location in the heart of Berlin. Conclusion: 5 stars all around. We'll definitely be back – and bring friends!

The cocktails were delicious, but you're required to leave a tip. He kept insisting on a tip, so I finally gave up. It's a shame.
