Great restaurant with very friendly staff, delicious food and a lovely atmosphere.

Service, as mentioned by several other guests, leaves much room for improvement. This includes, among other things, the friendly tone and attentiveness. The food was very pleasant to look at. However, the palate wasn't exactly exceptional (considering the price category). At the neighboring restaurant, you'll be happy to be served even in light rain.

The food always tastes fantastic. Even a salad is perfect thanks to the excellent house dressing. The service is attentive, fast, and extremely friendly. The outdoor area offers a beautiful view of the water, and the interior has a pleasant, rustic ambiance. We love La Riviera and can recommend a visit anytime!

It is in Gatow Kladow the best real Italian very friendly and the food and ambience very nice we feel very comfortable here also nice is the pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant

Note: This review is directed solely at the service of a specific waitress (middle-aged, gray hair, glasses) – not at the kitchen, location, or management. My friend is a regular and this was the first time we'd seen this waitress there. Upon arrival, we were neither greeted nor treated in a friendly manner. Our order was taken reluctantly; cutlery and drinks were placed on our table roughly/with an audible bang. Instead of the rhubarb spritzer we ordered, she brought us an apple spritzer. When we politely pointed this out to her, she reacted completely disproportionately, then brought the correct drink and bluntly placed it back on the table. When we pointed out that this was inappropriate behavior toward guests, she accused my friend of shouting at her. Shortly thereafter, she left and insulted us rudely in Italian. I immediately spoke to the manager. The waitress confirmed her behavior and imitated my friend in an exaggerated and malicious manner. The manager was visibly ashamed and apologized repeatedly on behalf of the establishment. The waitress subsequently commented loudly on the situation to other guests and continued to complain to colleagues – guests who couldn't understand the context because they hadn't witnessed the original incident and didn't speak Italian. The manager canceled our bill to apologize – he deserves respect for that. Conclusion: Despite a beautiful location and a dedicated, friendly manager, this waitress's behavior towards us was disrespectful and unacceptable. I hope management takes appropriate action, as the rest of the establishment makes a good impression.

Pizza was okay, but nothing special. The salad was really poorly cooked, dry in my opinion, and the meat wasn't cooked through; it had to go back to the kitchen.

Very friendly staff, despite the intense heat. We were a large group, and everyone was happy with the food. Perfect for a day trip. Good value for money.

The service here is also typical, charming Italian. The selection of dishes is also very typical and beautifully presented. The pizzas are very large and recommendable both in terms of taste and appearance. Desserts, while limited in selection, are equally delicious. Fresh fruit is used. The price-performance ratio for a restaurant on the harbor/waterfront is perfectly acceptable, and there's no real difference to other restaurants I've known.

I had bruschetta and the tuna salad. Both were delicious! You can show off your salad dressing! It's nice to sit outside. The servers were both incredibly friendly and prompt! Excellent service.

We were there with a group and were treated and served very badly. The woman with the glasses in particular did a pretty good job. She ignored orders and didn't ask questions, nothing. The older gentleman was a bit nicer but that was it. The food was just about OK but you have to be careful. It's a shame that in times like these people treat guests who pay so much money like that. If you have a problem with yourself you shouldn't work there but seek therapy!

The food was okay. Unfortunately, the service was poor, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The child's fries, the simplest dish, came last.

The food was brought immediately (2-3 minutes) after ordering, so it was already prepared and just reheated. The pasta was quite soft, not al dente, the dishes lacked flavor; even the garlic tasted of nothing. The other dish, with the tomato sauce, had an excessive amount of oil, so the dish didn't taste of nothing, but of oil. When the bill came, some of the dishes were canceled. Service was fine. 2 years ago, it was still very good here, but today's experience was unfortunately more than disappointing.

Yesterday we had another wonderful afternoon with a view of Lake Wannsee at Ristorante La Riviera. We can't understand the bad reviews. Our steak was cooked to perfection, along with delicious side dishes. A special request was also fulfilled immediately. The server was very attentive, polite, and courteous. This is what service should be like. We love this place because the view is unbeatable.

Good pizzas and pasta. The owner very friendly. If you take the ferry at lunchtime, it's worth it. Good prices.

Family friendly, cozy and good food at fair prices, thank you very much! 5 adults, 7 small children - we know from experience that we are not necessarily welcome guests. But here it was different. We felt very comfortable, ate well, warmed ourselves by the fireplace and admired the pizza makers. A nice discovery, we'll definitely be back!

Wieder einmal eine sehr gute Gänsekeule gegessen im La Rivera, außen knusprig und innen zart. Dazu Rotkohl hausgemacht. Auch die Soße war vom Feinsten. Das Restaurant ist wunderschön weihnachtlich dekoriert. Wir saßen am Kamin und hatten Blick auf den Wannsee. Ein Dank dem Chefkoch und der netten Kellnerin

A cold, uncomfortable winter day, shortly after opening at noon, but the fireplace was already roaring, the heating was warm and so we quickly felt at home in this cozy restaurant with a view of the water. Everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas, pleasant Christmas music was playing and we received a friendly welcome. The goose leg and spaghetti carbonara were tasty, not overly seasoned, the portions were okay (it probably wouldn't have been enough for a construction worker) and the prices were moderate. When it comes to drinks and desserts, on the other hand, there is a lot of extra effort, as is the case with many restaurants these days. I find a glass of tea (hot water and a bag of black tea) for 4.- to be overpriced. Cup of café crema also 4.-. We'll stop by again when we're in the corner.

The online table reservation does not work! Among other things, a yellow button for a “private anxiety clinic” is displayed and no one answers the phone! What a shame!

A wonderful restaurant to round off a visit to Kladow in the evening. Clear recommendation!

The inventory is heavily worn. Part of the room is an open furniture storage area. We had grilled king prawns on vegetables with salad. The not very large prawns had no trace of grilled flavor and they were served on raw vegetables such as peppers, carrot slices, potato slices with peel and a thick slice of lemon. The mixed salad was plain and served with a dollop of acidic dressing. I haven't eaten worse in a long time. The service was friendly and quick. Tiramisu was all.

Nice place with upward potential. Eat well with large portions. Service very friendly. The terrace could be better maintained. Maybe a few Add a plant pot with oleander. The food could be prepared more lovingly. A fresh coat of paint would enhance the location. It could be so much nicer. The Internet offers many creative ideas. We would still like to come back.

The service at this restaurant was really bad and we are obviously not the only ones who experience this as other comments indicate. I went there with my friend, and the younger waitress was extremely rude from the start. Just go to another restaurant in the area - it will definitely be better than this one.

Personal antipático, no lo recomendaría a pesar de la bonita vista. Por lo demás la comida estaba bien, pero cuando pedí tomar el resto de mi pizza se doblaron juntos y lo pusieron en papel aluminio. Fueron muy groseros todo el tiempo

Es war nicht sehr gut , aber gut. Man konnte es aber nicht auswählen. Hatten 2 x Pizza und Spaghetti Vongole. Pizza hatten wir schon besser gegessen, aber war trotzdem lecker und gut. Extrawünsche wurden gerne erfüllt. Der Wirt ist sehr nett und außergewöhnlich.

An employee celebrated his bachelorette farewell there. Large portions, but what's the point if quality and service are lacking for this not-so-convenient location?! Attention to the need for drinks in a group and not having to wait almost an hour for food, as well as longer times between serving food to all participants in the group, were too many requirements. None of this worked despite repeated complaints from various people! An absolute no-go for me!

I have never experienced such a rude waitress. 1. When ordering we were informed that there was no bruschetta or no side dishes at all. We would just be too late (Sunday 6:30 p.m. for dinner?!) 2. The order was not carried out correctly - the dish without onions came with the same ones, the tagliatelle was missing the cherry tomatoes specified on the menu. Otherwise the food was okay. 3. Paying separately is too difficult (the device does that itself?!), but was done reluctantly. But then the dishes were swapped (apparently because the WiFi is bad and we ended up having to settle between each other... Last but not least, I have to be told off that I don't tip enough?! So in my opinion, tipping is a voluntary service in Germany that I am happy to pay for good service. In this case I just rounded up because the service wasn't good. The waitress wanted to tell her boss straight away that she "didn't want to serve such guests in the future." So I would recommend that the boss hire another waitress...

Seldom eaten so badly. Unreasonable mass processing.

Me and my friends ate at the said restaurant today and had a terrible experience with the waiter, we assume he runs this restaurant. When we arrived we were shouted at as to which seat we should take and as the stay progressed I was aggressively patted on the shoulders and slapped on the back, as well as slapped on my legs and in my mid-20s I had to listen to derogatory comments like that Children. We are four self-employed, well-educated people who get along well all over the world. This person has never heard of hospitality and the restaurant should be discouraged for anyone who wants a good experience. Addendum at 10:27 p.m.: I've thrown up twice now, my wife is sick too, tomorrow the health department will be informed, there will definitely be consequences.

My husband, I and two friends had dinner at the restaurant in question today. Definitely the first and last time! When I came into the store I politely asked where the toilet was and was then told “that way” in a harsh tone. I then asked if “that way” meant straight ahead, to which the owner (I assumed) simply replied “where else?” Unfortunately, over the time we spent there, the service didn't get any better. Me, my husband and our friends continued to be treated in a very derogatory and disrespectful manner. When the bill came, my friend was asked if she couldn't read, we were called children (we are all over 20)! I really don't have much to say other than the worst restaurant with the worst service I've ever been to. If you want to enjoy a nice evening, I really can't recommend you to visit this restaurant. To add: It has now been 3 hours since we visited the restaurant. I have a terrible stomach ache, even though I only ate half a pizza, and my husband also complains of discomfort.

I had ordered a meal for 40 people and already had a good feeling after the preliminary discussion. On the day of the celebration everything was perfect: rustically decorated in 2 rooms (with the possibility of sitting in the garden), very rich, delicious food, a friendly, thoughtful waiter just for our group, who had to walk a lot and always kept track of everyone were amazed!

At first the waitress was very hectic taking our food and drink orders. When we finished eating, we had to wait a long time until someone came. Meanwhile, the waitress was chatting with a colleague from the kitchen, which made us feel like we were being ignored. A red, transparent shell was found in the spaghetti carbonara, probably from sea creatures. When I brought up the topic of allergies and my aversion to seafood, the waitress responded by saying, "Yeah, it's not that gross." However, in the end the dish was not charged and an apology was made. Overall the waitress wasn't very friendly. The toilet paper holder was missing from the toilet and the paper was temporarily jammed. In addition, the paper for drying hands was already empty, even though the restaurant had only opened an hour ago. Dogs are allowed outside, but are not treated particularly kindly. Although the waitress initially gently petted our dog, she later stepped over him instead of walking around him. This was disturbing and unpleasant for us and our dog.

Bruschetta tastes good (with fresh tomatoes) but expected/unspectacular. The pizzas are very tasty and a good size. The salmon in the pasta seemed like frozen food and the pasta dish was very oily. You can sit outside well. Tiramisu is recommended as a dessert. Parking spaces are available but are in demand as there are a few other restaurants and the Imchen ferry pier next door.

The restaurant is beautifully located right on the promenade with a view of the water. The service was unfriendly. We returned and there was initially a discussion about whether we could sit separately from our children. We didn't want to. Afterwards we were shouted at because we wanted to order drinks and food at the same time (that was too complicated). When we asked whether we could get separate bills right from the start, a bossy torrent of words poured on us (also too complicated and what could we think of? at all). After eating we asked the waitress to take a photo of us - we were again given a tirade of insults about what we would think - a waitress had better things to do and that was not possible at all. Aside from the frustration with the waitress, who constantly lectured us and was unfriendly, the food was decent, the portions were okay, and the other guests were pleasant. The opportunity for children to play directly in the garden should also be mentioned positively.

Really not recommended! Food ok, fits the atmosphere of the place… Service unfriendly (the 2 waitresses) and arrogant. They haven't learned how to deal with customers in a friendly way... Well... No more!

Order only partially delivered. We canceled a pizza after 15 minutes of the other dishes still not being delivered. When billing, the waitress pointed out that she wouldn't bill for the pizza and then became abusive when I said that was a given. Many guests around us felt the same way. I have never experienced such poor service in a restaurant.

We were eating there on the terrace today and after eating the chair suddenly broke in half under me as I leaned back. The waiter said: “Now we know why the chairs were so cheap.” They asked if I had hurt myself, but there was no word or gesture of apology afterwards. The remains of the chair were quickly cleared away and everything went as usual. The fact that I leave the restaurant with bruises leaves a bad aftertaste.

Really nicely located, right between the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag building. The prices are a little high, but the rest is fine.

Nice location by the water. The food is good. Unfortunately, water glasses weren't really clean. Service could be more attentive - less smoking and chatting, then there will be more stars.

In mid-February I was back at your house. Pizza OK, not spicy like I ordered. What made me very uncomfortable was that when I counted with PayPal I simply received the waiter's receipt even though I asked for a bill. Is that common practice? Or are you interested in a VAT review?

This is our favorite Kladower restaurant. It is authentic and you still have the choice whether you want to order the carbonara in a German or original Italian version. The food is very good and the staff is really very friendly. Depending on the time of year and day of the week, you should reserve in advance. The terrace is very busy, especially in summer. In winter you get a cozy spot inside near the fireplace. You can feel very comfortable here as a guest. We definitely recommend a visit here!

The location of the restaurant and the friendliness of the service are excellent. However, our food (pasta with salmon) was unseasoned and salty, the fish smelled like it had been frozen, and spaghetti alio and olio were not what we had hoped for. Since we often stay in Italy, we cannot recommend the restaurant from our experience when it comes to Italian cuisine. A pity

Ich war im Frühjahr am 30. April da. Extrem unfreundliche Bedienung. Ich habe eine Allergie und wollte wissen, ob ein Gericht glutenfrei ist. Die Kellnerin (schön älter, schwarze Haare, Brille) tat es genervt mit, ja ist es, ab. Ich fragte dann nochmal, weil mir die Antwort zu schnell kam, in der Küche nach und siehe da: in der Mayonnaise war Gluten. Für mich endet das ganze nicht witzig, und so kann man sich als Mitarbeiter im Restaurant auch mal den Weg machen. Danach fand die Kellnerin mich anscheinend total zum kotzen und lästerte mit einem neu kommenden Gast darüber, dass sie ja hier eben ganz anstrengende Leute bedient. Der neue Gast war aber mein Bekannter… ich werde hier auf keinen Fall wieder hinkommen und wenn man schlecht von Kellnern bedient und behandelt werden will dann bitte - Gastfreundlichkeit 0,0% 😵‍💫 und vor allem ist es gefährlich, einfach zu Gerichten zu sagen, dass sie bestimme Allergene nicht enthalten…

Einfach nur super, kann ich nur weiter empfehlen!!! Unbedingt hingehen !!

Einen schönen Abend mit sehr leckerem Essen verbrachten wir heute im La Riviera. Wir hatten Pizzen, Schweinefilet Gorgonzola sowie Tagliatelle mit Lachs, alle Gerichte können wir weiterempfehlen. Das Personal war freundlich und gut gelaunt. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir wurden von beiden Bedienungskräften ignoriert. Trotz mehrfachem Blickkontakt und Ansprechen. Weitere nach uns kommende Gäste wurden sofort bedient und erhielten ihre Getränke. Wir wurden weiterhin ignoriert. Nach 25 Minuten sind wir wieder aufgestanden und gegangen. Die Bedienung fragte noch warum, ich gab zur Antwort, das offensichtliche Ignorieren geht garnicht. Sie gab daraufhin zur Antwort: "Wir sind keine Maschinen!" Passt aber nicht zur langen Wartezeit für eine Bestellungsaufnahme...

Das La Riviera, eine seit Jahrzehnten in Kladow ansässige Institution. Das Ambiente, ob innen oder außen, lädt zum verweilen ein. Bei schönem Wetter, mit Blick über die Havel in Richtung Wannsee, im Außenbereich sein Essen zu sich nehmen zu können, unbezahlbar. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Karte übersichtlich. Alle Speisen werden frisch zubereitet. Pizza, oft kritisiert da "ölig oder durchgeweicht", mit Tomatensugo, frischen Tomaten und Büffelmozzarella belegt, kann nur feucht sein. Schmackhaft und lecker, ebenso wie all die anderen Pizzen der Speisekarte. Wer Vergleiche mit seiner Dr Oetker Pizza anstellt, sollte besser gleich zu Hause bleiben. Ambiente, Personal, Speisen und Preise, machen dieses Restaurant zu einem Platz, an dem man gern einkehrt um einen schönen Abend zu verbringen.

Der Pizzabäcker versteht sein Handwerk exzellent. Angenehmer Service und Urlaubsstimmung lässt Dich den Aufenthalt immer wieder gerne genießen 🙏🍕👏🏼😎

Gutes Essen Service könnte besser sein waren erst wenig Gäste und man mußte lange warten

Das Lokal ist sehr idyllisch gelegen. Man hat einen guten Ausblick auf den See. Die Speisekarte ist nicht übermäßig voll, genau richtig um einen kulinarischen Ausflug zu unseren südlichen Nachbarn zu machen. Der Geschmack überzeugt und die Portionen sind ordentlich. Wir haben uns die Reste der Pizza einpacken lassen. Das Personal ist freundlich und man wird gut behandelt. Ein Besuch ist obligatorisch sofern man in der Nähe ist.

Als regelmäßiger Gast habe ich natürlich kaum bzw. keine schlechten Erfahrungen hier gemacht. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut und das Personal ist berlinerisch freundlich.

Das Essen war leider wirklich nicht gut. Leider musste ich mich nun auch am Abend übergeben und das ging die ganze Nacht so. Ich kann von einem Besuch nur abraten. Ein Glück haben meine Kinder nicht davon gegessen, was dann gewesen wäre möchte ich mir nicht ansatzweise ausmalen. Und dafür so viel Geld bezahlt …..sehr ärgerlich. Am liebsten würde ich mein Geld zurück verlangen. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen. Scheinbar ist es ja auch schon bei anderen passiert, hier sollte man mal das Lebensmittelamt vorbei schicken.

Ich musste mich die ganze Nacht übergeben. Mehr muss ich denke ich nicht schreiben. Schade um mein Geld, ein Glück haben meine Kinder nix von meinem Essen gegessen. Das möchte ich mir nixht ausmalen.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch, Sie gehören zu den schlechtesten Restaurants von Berlin. Das Lachsfilet lag nahezu roh auf dem Teller, das Gemüse (Auberginenwürfel, Kartoffeln etc.) war geschmacklos und und undefinierbar gegart, schlonzig und grau. Insgesamt fehlte jegliche "Hand eines Fachmanns/einer Fachfrau". Schade - tolle Lage, aber wirklich nicht zu empfehlen, daher insgesamt nur ein Stern.
