I ordered the tagliatelle with salmon, which was served within 5 minutes. The plate was nicely presented and the service was good so far. When I tried the salmon, the consistency felt very soft and runny; in terms of taste a 3/5. I was unsure if something was wrong, but I continued eating. Afterwards there was a tiramisu. In the evening when I was at home I got severe nausea and suffered all night long. The next day I was lying flat. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! You shouldn't serve bad fish!!

Inicialmente muy buen servicio. Amable e informativo. La ensalada de primer plato estuvo buena. Esto fue seguido por la pizza equivocada para los dos. La pizza correcta fue entregada con disculpas pero era sosa. La salsa de tomate no tenía sabor y el queso era bastante débil. El café era bastante bueno, pero nuestro camarero fue a un largo descanso para fumar y tomó algún tiempo para obtener la cuenta. Nos cobraron 15€ de más y lo pusimos en conocimiento del camarero. Él fue disculpado y proporcionó el reembolso en efectivo (y ofreció grappa, que rechazamos) pero ya habíamos pagado una propina del 10% en la cantidad sobrecargada. Un punto menor pero molesto.

Great service, great food, great value for money

Unfortunately that wasn't so great. As a small starter there was fresh bread with a very tasty garlic cream on the house. Since we ordered a menu, there was a salad with it, which was very tasty and fresh. The veal schnitzel I ordered was just a veal steak. This was apparently fried on the grill without any seasoning. There was also herb butter (this was not homemade) and fries (which were good). Upon request, I was also given mushrooms. Unlike the ones on the pizza, these weren't fresh. And the taste of the sauce around the mushrooms was strangely bitter. However, the pizzas are good and leave little to be desired. The dough is homemade and hand-pulled and really delicious. However, the service when it came to drinks left a lot to be desired, and even a smile and friendliness can't cover that up. We were given our drinks at the beginning and were ignored during the meal, despite the empty glasses. Only after we had finished eating and was cleared away could we take the chance to order dessert and something new to drink. In addition, one of our chairs was very wobbly and really broken. When asked, the chair was replaced, but the broken chair was simply placed at the table behind us and quickly occupied by a new restaurant visitor. There was also an enormous amount of noise in the entire restaurant. Perhaps the route to the toilets should also be made better clear and, above all, more accessible. Apart from the fact that we had to go through a narrow corridor between two long tables, the passage to the toilet behind the red curtain was also difficult to find. This passage was also extremely narrow and blocked by a cutlery cupboard and an old wine barrel. Even though the pizzas were good, we cannot recommend the restaurant due to the other inconveniences.

We ate well and were served courteously. A pleasant place for a nice meal at this time of year.

I was there as a group with business partners. The “room” in the back looked nice and makeshift. Red fabric was only partially hanging in front of the windows. The ambience in the actual restaurant was much nicer. The food took a long time to arrive - about 1 hour and 15 minutes - I had requested the beef fillet steak medium-rare - in reality it arrived “well-done”. This fillet, after the first 1/3 eaten, had a tendon right through the thin folded meat. I let it go back. After a long time my new piece came. There was a very strong smell as soon as I put it down. I thought my nose was playing tricks on me - no, it was completely bad! Everyone around me smelled this rotten meat! The service would then apologize several times. For me, my hunger was over and I spent the entire night in the bathroom of my hotel room. I felt really bad! Based on my experience and knowledge, I can only advise the restaurant to urgently work on this! It is acceptable in the smallest way to even serve such meat! There won't be another visit for me!

Overall, a really nice restaurant. Everything tasted really delicious at the start. Only with the main course did it become...yes, I want to say almost “criminal”. Fillet so steak ordered. But the meat was definitely not fillet! There was fat tendon in it, you don't get that with fillet. So we felt pretty cheated. We then let it go back and they wanted to bring us another piece. And THAT was just shocking! Meat looked very strange and it not only smelled strange but really smelled extremely bad! This smell was extremely pungent and lingered at the table long after the meat was gone. That was just rotten meat. Incredible! We received desert in return but I still find something like that absolutely unbelievable and, as I said, actually criminal. Everyone should have noticed this immediately in the kitchen or in the service.

The restaurant is centrally located on the beautiful Savinyplatz, not far from the zoo, Bikinihazs and Kurfürstendamm. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and a reasonable waiting time from order to serving. The portion of my salmon fillet was clear. What annoyed me was the vegetables that had been prepared and somehow warmed up and were therefore served and eaten with a bland taste. As a result, the price-performance ratio is not appropriate for me.

Arrivés en soirée, en famille nous avons commandé pour 3 personnes. Le minestrone en entrée ne ressemblait pas à un minestrone, la base de légumes était industrielle, ca commençait mal. Les linguines étaient des spaghettis, les plats étaient globalement sans intérêt, avec un service décevant également.

Italian restaurant with easy down to earth cuisine. Very good pizza and I would recommend the pasta with truffles. The service is very good and kind. The interior is not tacky or fancy. A restaurant you can go to for a casual lunch or dinner

Pasamos por delante de este restaurante y decidimos probarlo. Ambos teníamos especiales de temporada que estaban en oferta, pata de ganso con albóndigas y col roja, y pato asado también servido con albóndigas y col roja. Ambos eran sabrosos y a un precio razonable. El servicio era bueno.

Het leek allemaal zo leuk. Een te joviale ober. Hielp wel met opladen van telefoon. Eten wordt niet vriendelijk opgediend. Extra champignon’s op de pizza zeer magertjes Rekening na betaling wordt neer gegooid op tafel. Kan veel beter

A great restaurant with very good cuisine! Fair prices, super attentive, friendly staff. We visit Berlin very often and have found a new local bar. Ate at Capone for years, but no comparison to San Marino. We'll be back.

First and foremost, I go to a restaurant because of the food. The waiters were very attentive and the place itself looks quite nice But what was offered to me here as Italian cuisine: Pizza Diavola, since when are jalapenos and sour salami a thing? Parmigiana a la Melanzane is dripping with fat. Pene arrabiata with capers? Then there are the prices in relation to the portion. Sure, the rent at Savignyplatz costs more, but the mishmash of different cuisines in this case has nothing to do with Italian, at least for the three dishes. That fits more into the Indian Fusion category. And what is aioli looking for as a spread at the Italian restaurant? In any case, it was the last time I was in this restaurant I feel sorry for everyone who comes here assuming that this is what Italy tastes like.

Sehr guter Italiener direkt an der S-Bahnstation Savignyplatz. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Speisen schmeckten sehr gut - insbesondere das hausgemachte Tiramisu, die wir uns zum Nachtisch geteilt haben.

Very good Italian restaurant right next to the Savignyplatz S-Bahn station. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food tasted very good - especially the homemade tiramisu, which we shared for dessert.

I had carbonara - well made, more refined than usual in Italian restaurants. The waiters were very friendly. Stylish ambience with a view of Savignyplatz.

Excellent to absolutely divine. The tastiest Italian restaurant I've had the pleasure of getting to know in Germany. The discovery was a coincidence during a business trip and we are blown away! We had frutti di mare, tortellini gorgonzola, porcini mushroom soup, tomato soup and tiramisu. Relatively speaking, the price is cheap :)

Guys... if you're looking for a great restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. The kitchen is of very high quality and flawless. Even though the ambience seems a bit cool, the food is simply fantastic. A great value for money. Gladly again next time.

Wir hatten als alle Vorspeise Insalata Pomodoro Rucola, dann Pizza Tonno, Pizza Gorgonzola und 2x Lasagne. Das Essen war Spitze, der Sauvignon ebenfalls. Störend war ein älterer Kellner, der oft in der Nähe unseres Tisches, das Abräumen jedoch komplett ignorierte und so tat als ob wir total durch unsere Anwesenheit störten. Der jüngere Kellner, der uns Vier bediente, war ausnehmend freundlich und zuvorkommend…hatte aber nur 2 Hände und Unterstützung gut brauchen können.

This restaurant is nestled in one of the best neighborhoods in Berlin, and our experience there was nothing short of legendary. Although it took a bit of time for the food to arrive, it was completely understandable, given that the restaurant was fully booked and we came without a reservation. Despite that, Ricardo managed to find us a table, and we were warmly welcomed by Roberto at the bar. Both were incredibly friendly, and their fluent English was a huge help, as we had little knowledge of German. Highly recommend!

We wanted to have dinner before the theater. We found this restaurant very inviting and sat outside. The service was quick and very friendly. Wine arrived quickly and the pizza we ordered came quite quickly. However, we have already eaten delicious pizza.

As always, very good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Upon request, dishes that were not on the menu were also prepared.

At this restaurant we had a fantastic experience that went far beyond just good food. The excellent service from Carlos, Roberto and Ricardo was particularly impressive. Not only were they incredibly friendly, but they were also extremely attentive and professional. Every wish was fulfilled immediately and they made sure that we felt completely comfortable. Her recommendations were perfect and her commitment was noticeable. It's rare to experience service like this. Even the milkshake is a tasty treat. A big compliment to the team!

Wow! Just wow, I love this shop, if you spontaneously want to go out for something delicious in the evening, this is the perfect Italian restaurant. It's cozy, the waiters are nice (especially Carlos) and the drinks are delicious too. Highly recommended, I love going here!

Staff are very friendly, even though I only had take-away. Food is simple but decent for the price.

Unfortunately not really convincing. Wall painting could have been done by a 10 year old. It is not clear to us where some reviewers got the photos from, as the reality was different. Small portions, too much convenience for the price. Too quickly at the table for fresh 😳 and an interim bill at the end invites every tax official to come for a second visit, unfortunately not us anymore

We have been visiting this restaurant for years. The quality of the food is very good. The service was friendly. Yesterday, however, we were very surprised at how small the portions had become. When we asked, we were told that the guests always left so much left on their plates, so the boss decided to drastically reduce the portions. We were confused about this, there is a middle ground between too much and too little. It was OK for me, I wasn't that hungry. My husband, however, came home still hungry after the lasagne and first made himself something to eat. I think that's a real shame considering the now high prices in the restaurant. As neighbors, we will no longer visit the San Marino, despite the very good quality of the food. But we probably won't be missed either, since it's designed to be very touristy.

The area surrounding Savigny Platz is actually quite ok on a warm summer evening, despite the trains running every minute. Everything has already been said about the service, which is mainly occupied with itself. The carpaccio was interpreted differently, not with oil and vinegar but with a mayonnaise-like dressing. It had probably been prepared for a long time, the meat was dark and was already partially dry and stuck to the plate. Pizza was ok, unfortunately not hot, tortellini dry and lukewarm. No recommendation.

Don't order pasta!!! Starter bruschetta is not on the menu, but it is available. Ordered 2 pieces and they were very tasty. However, the main course, Fettucine frutti di mare, was a joke in terms of quantity. The absolute mini portion is a disgrace!!! Hungry there and hungry again... See also similar. Posts. Beware this is a classic "tourist trap" claiming to serve Italian food. This was our first time here and the food was bad. I had calves liver that was drowning in some kind of unidentifiable tasteless sauce and and with a couple onion rings thrown in and nothing else. My friend had tasteless, overcooked fish with equally overcooked eggplant. Together with two glasses of bad wine the bill was over €70 yes, the service was OK and the view of the square is nice but the food is just shameless. I am guessing there is not a real Italian cooking anywhere. Never again.

Another Berlin tourist ripoff. Yes, service was nice and a good view of the square but the food is a shameless ripoff. We had one liver, served in a tasteless, unidentifiable source with a couple of onion rings and nothing else. The other entrée was a tasteless overcooked fish with equally overcooked eggplant. That and two glasses of crappy wine and a bottle of water was almost 70 euros. Never again.

Coffee came 10 minutes before breakfast so it was already empty by the time breakfast came. Buffalo mozzarella tasted like cow's milk mozzarella and fruit was canned. Unfortunately it wasn't a complete breakfast experience for us.

We had a wonderful evening at San Marino in Berlin today. Although our reserved table was initially unavailable, we received a very friendly welcome. The staff promptly took care of finding a free table for us. The food and drinks were first class. Unfortunately, one of us discovered a large piece of plastic on his pizza. However, this was noticed immediately and as an apology we received a round of Aperol Spritz on the house. A special highlight was the charming date at the neighboring table, which provided additional entertainment. Overall, a fantastic evening – we would love to come back!

The food tasted very bad...it is very far from Italian cuisine No reason to go back

We didn't arrive at the restaurant until 11:30 p.m. and asked if we could get another beer. Less than 5 minutes later, we hadn't really sat down yet, and the beer was on the table. Class! And we also got an antipasti plate. Thank you, that's service and hospitality.

They sell low class wine and charge 50 €…they are Thiefs…avoid this place. Cause hassle with purpose, difficult to get invoice. was on this restaurant 2 years ago and it was all good but now its a no place to absolutely not to go.

A restaurant in a nice location. We were there for dinner with a large group. Although we had a fixed menu, the super friendly service responded to my request to eat something different. The mixed antipasti plate was wonderful! Fresh vegetables and an asorti of seafood, cheese and cured meats were more than plentiful.

The salad was good/the pizza was burnt and not cooked in the middle!! The waiters are busy with everything but not with the customers! Very unfortunate

Wir hatten uns darauf gefreut, Spargel zu essen aber als er serviert wurde war offensichtlich, dass er aufgewärmt war. Er war nicht frisch und hatte eine graue Farbe. Als wir dem Kellner davon erzählten, lachte er höhnisch und machte sich über uns lustig. Furchtbar schlechter Service und unangenehmer, älterer Kellner. Dieses Lokal würde ich meiden!

Ne vous laissez pas tenter par le charme de l’endroit à l’atmosphère chaleureuse: il n’en est rien. Nous avons attendu nos boissons 15 minutes (qui sont finalement arrivées avec nos plats que nous n’avions pas commandé ! ) En effet, nous avons commandé une pizza 4 fromages, le serveur nous a ramené une 4 saisons. Nous lui avons dit que ce n’était pas ce que nous avions commandé et sa réponse fut simple : « je n’ai pas de 4 fromages ». C’est donc au moment de nous servir qu’il a décidé de nous prévenir de ce « détail ». Il n’a rien voulu savoir, nous avons du nous contenter de cette pizza (que je n’aime pas). À partir de là, il ne nous a plus adressé la parole et a ignoré toutes nos demandes. À fuir !!

San Marino is a beautiful Italian restaurant with a wonderful location. The staff is extremely nice and the food is simply delicious. An all-round successful experience that I would happily recommend.

This actually used to be a great Italian restaurant with delicious dishes and reasonable portions. Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably deteriorated so that the price-performance ratio is no longer right. Lunch specials aren't a bad idea, but you shouldn't reduce the quality to canteen level. During our last visit the staff was also inattentive and intrusive.

Daily menus are available here from 11 a.m. to midnight and the selection is huge. We had a menu with sea bream and a fish soup. The fish with parmesan was fantastic! Unfortunately, the dressing in the salad tasted like a ready-made sauce Fish soup is worth its price. The young waiter put in a lot of effort and was definitely the most personable of all. Will come here again

Kalbsschnitzel dünn und trocken,schlechtes essen

Die Kegelbahn im hinteren eck war so laut und hat gestört beim essen. Dazu hat der Kellner uns auch noch angebellt. Wurde von einem Kanacken serviert und bin AfD wähler.

Also essen war ausm netto gekauft und die Pasta sehr wenig. Kellner konnte ich leider kein Trinkgeld geben da er auch ewig nicht kam. Schade
