I haven't enjoyed food so much in a long time! We had two soups (Phò): Fantastic! Fresh, full of flavor, the noodles perfectly cooked, the meat still juicy, the mushrooms crunchy... Such a treat! And the service was both friendly and discreet. I definitely recommend it, and thank you for such a delicious meal at a fair price. P.S.: The homemade iced tea is also very good 😉

A super nice restaurant with great food. We had pho, which I highly recommend. It comes with lime and chili (be careful, it's very spicy). The Vietnamese coffee is also highly recommended for dessert. You can sit outside in a quiet corner, where there wasn't much traffic on a Thursday evening.

Very delicious food and wonderfully friendly staff! We felt very comfortable. Centrally located, and we could sit outside. A car drives by every now and then, but it's not at all disturbing. Tip: The pho bo is amazing, followed by baked bananas with Vietnamese coffee :)

Highly recommended! The ambiance is a bit rustic, which I love; the service is always very polite, courteous, and friendly. There's a truly large and delicious selection of dishes, and upon request, everything is also prepared as a vegetarian version with tofu. The food is delicious, the vegetables are fresh, and the sauces are great (try the summer rolls with peanut sauce!). We feel very comfortable there and can highly recommend a visit to everyone.

Very disappointed experience with rude attitude

The food is always delicious, and the service is always friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, there are occasional problems with reaching us by phone (the phone number is unavailable) for pre-ordering. Of course, this doesn't detract from the taste!

We let the beautiful name guide us and know many Vietnamese restaurants. Friendly welcome, thank you for letting us charge our cell phone. We ordered summer rolls and fried noodles and pork with rice noodle salad with extra hoisin sauce, which I really like. The summer rolls were ok with peanut sauce on the side. However, the noodles seemed unfried and overall very soft and mushy. Even the good price is of no use. The pork was seasoned, but the sauce on the rice noodle salad was just like sweet water without that very special sweet-salty-spicy taste. The hoisin sauce tasted like water mixed with starch and pure soy sauce, nothing of the typical taste. The waitress said that's what her hoisin sauce was like and was very irritated that I complained and I could hear the communication about it all the way to our table. That made me uncomfortable. Overall, based on the reviews and pictures, it can be said that the quality of the food varies greatly. In any case, we were sad and expected authentic Vietnamese cuisine. My mother already told me... You can tell the quality of the chef and his cooking from the sauce. Unfortunately, it wasn't even middle class. Nevertheless, thank you for the friendly service. We cannot make a recommendation. The mushy noodles have already been criticized in other reviews and you post that you will change it. We didn't notice. The toilet is on the top floor. The restaurant is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. I think it's very good that you react individually to the review. But it should be taken seriously. Best regards

This restaurant is in a good location, there is parking nearby for a fee but only a 10 minute walk away. The service is polite, speaks good German and makes good recommendations for food. You can get Vietnamese and Chinese food. I can only recommend it because the food tastes almost like in Vietnam.

Three of us ate at this restaurant on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was attractive and cozy, but there are only a few seats, which is why I would strongly recommend making a reservation. I ordered the fried Vietnamese noodles with vegetables, as shown in the photo. Unfortunately, the portion was a bit too small for my taste, and the taste of the noodles wasn't convincing either. The dish had a very one-sided taste, probably due to the use of a flavor enhancer. I also ordered a hot chocolate, which was beautifully served in a glass, but the glass was only half full. The positive thing is that I didn't have to pay for the chocolate at the end. The other dishes at the table were rated “good” overall. However, the description on the menu did not always correspond to the taste experience: a dish that was advertised as containing chili and garlic lacked these flavors. Another point of criticism is the menu. Although vegetarian and spicy dishes were supposed to be marked with symbols, these markings were missing from individual dishes, making it difficult to find vegetarian options. In summary: The restaurant is recommended if you don't order fried noodles and can be prepared for minor compromises on the menu.

The waiter's attitude was very bad! I apologized to him for arguing with him because of long waiting time after the meal,but he completely ignored me and was very ungentlemanly! We had a long way and were very hungry. As a result, the guests who ordered later than us had already served the meal, and we waited for 30 minutes before the food was served. The picture of mussaman curry on the menu here is not mussaman curry. I got served this as mussaman curry ordered from the menu and it didn't taste like mussaman curry either. I might be from another part of the world but the mussaman curry I know has chunky slow braised meat, potatoes, peanuts, star anise, cloves plus. The dish in the picture, which I had, was close to a red or a penang curry with julienned vegetables wok stir fried, as pictured, not in mussaman curry. Mussaman curry is a Thai fusion dish and I am not aware of a different Vietnamese version.

Best Vietnamese food in Weimar. I've been eating there frequently for many months. Every dish is tasty and prices are more than fair.

Das Essen ist immer frisch und sehr lecker. Oft bestelle ich mir gebratene Nudeln mit Gemüse oder Gemüse mit Erdnusssoße und Nudeln dazu, manchmal auch mit Garnelen. Die Portionen sind sehr ausreichend und auch zum Mitnehmen geeignet. Ich kann auch den Eistee und das Saigon Bier sehr empfehlen. Dazu sind alle immer sehr freundlich und nett zu uns. Mein Favorit in Weimar zum Essen gehen!

Sehr, sehr leckereres Essen, eine riesige Auswahl und ein sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Team.

Ich war vom Essen leider nicht überzeugt, da das Gericht zu stark von meinen Erwartungen abgewichen ist. Ich hatte die 314 "Ente und Hühnchen mit schwarzen Bohnen". Ich habe keine schwarzen Bohnen bemerkt sondern nur grüne Bohnen mit schwarzer Sause. Ente und Hühnchen erschienen mir fritiert und nicht auf dem Blech gebacken, also deutlich fettiger als erhofft. Schade!

Wundervolles Lokal! Die Hot Cook Gerichte in der heißen Pfanne sind der Hammer! Alles andere ist auch topp und reichlich. Die selbstgemachten Getränke sind nochmal das I-Tüpfelchen und super lecker. Auch der asiatische Kaffee zum Abschluss ist ein Highlight. Der Service ist super und kommt bei Unentschlossenen auch mit Empfehlungen.

Die Restaurants abseits der Touristenattraktionen sind meist am besten. Das ist in allen Städten so, auch hier in Weimar. Dieses kleine vietnamesische Restaurant liegt etwas abseits der großen Touristenattraktionen, aber kann sich sehen lassen. Gute Pho Nudelsuppe und sehr freundlicher Service.
