A very nice restaurant, ambiance-wise. Super friendly service. The food was simply delicious and beautifully presented. I can say the same about the homemade lemonade. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was perfectly harmonious...from the staff's welcome and the excellent food to the very end. We were all (really all of us 😀) extremely satisfied!!!!

A truly surprisingly good visit. I was alone, and I had excellent food and drinks at a fair price, along with an attentive server. I'll probably eat here again. I'd say the restaurant is at the higher end of its price range.

We were there on October 2, 2025, with five people. The staff was completely competent, quick, and friendly. We were all satisfied with the food and drinks. The shop is super clean. I really liked that you could look through the glass into the kitchen and see how they work (should be like that everywhere). This definitely won't be our last time there.

The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The waiter who served us was very friendly and you could tell he knew what we were ordering, even explaining any food intolerances. I liked the antique-inspired chairs and tables and the decor, which evoked a bit of a Vietnamese feel.

My recent visit to Vietal Kitchen in Hannover was a truly enjoyable experience. We ordered two dishes, and both were fantastic – you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the richness of the flavours. The service was friendly and incredibly efficient, with our food arriving impressively quickly. The restaurant itself has a traditional design which creates a very pleasant atmosphere; it was lively enough but certainly not too noisy, making for a comfortable dining experience. If you're in Hannover and looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, I would absolutely recommend Vietal Kitchen.

The menu offers a nice, moderate selection of dishes. It sounds very tasty, and our selection was bursting with freshness and excellent flavor. The portions are generously sized, and the house-made drinks are delicious and not standard. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with a pleasant scent of incense throughout the restaurant. It gives a clean and tidy impression. One point deducted for the outdoor tables, which lacked a bit of decor.

We all enjoyed the food, but unfortunately, it was so loud that conversation at the table was only possible with the people sitting next to us. I can't say whether this is always the case, as it was my first (and therefore last) visit to this restaurant.

Very good food and a very large selection of drinks (including non-alcoholic ones). It was very well organized, even with a larger group.

I have no idea what the food was like. The service was terrible. We left. I'm happy to explain why we were so incredibly disappointed. My wife and I had reserved a table over a week in advance to spend a pleasant evening celebrating our sixth wedding anniversary. We mentioned this when we made the reservation. When we arrived, we were offered a tiny table in the passageway by the stairs to the upper floor. When I pointed out that this spot didn't seem appropriate for our occasion, we were offered another table that was only slightly better. It makes you wonder why they would bid for a slightly better spot so long in advance. Nevertheless, we decided not to give up and ordered a drink. There was nothing wrong with the drinks. However, we tried several times afterward to get the waiter's attention so we could order food. We also approached the staff directly, but they weren't responsible for taking orders and wanted to pass on our request. When the bill finally arrived (about 30 minutes after our last request), we just wanted the bill and to move on. Unfortunately, you don't feel welcome as a guest. It's a shame.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and the service was friendly - overall you felt comfortable. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing: I expected a lot more for the fairly high price and the appealing description on the menu. In the end, the dish consisted mostly of simple pasta with some salad - okay in terms of taste, but disappointing in relation to the price and expectations.

Modern, Asian cuisine on the Lister Meile. Restaurant is nicely decorated inside. Functional outside but lots of tables and also harmonious. Service is relatively brief but friendly and quick. Food is fresh and crunchy. Tasty but without the big outlier. Prices for Asian cuisine are a bit higher. Card payment possible

A wonderful restaurant with an above-average friendly staff. The food was incredibly tasty and I personally can only warmly recommend the swordfish steak. If we come to Hanover again, we would be happy to eat here again. 🙂

The Vietalkitchen offers a cozy and pleasant environment and also plenty of space if you want to sit outside. There is a nice selection of dishes with and without meat, so you can eat there as a family. Vegans also get their money's worth. Delicious food is also offered for the youngest guests. Including provision of a high chair. Definitely my favorite restaurant.

The food is a blast! It totally blew me away. Tasty and fragrant! Tender meat! The waiter, even though the pub was full, managed to ask us how it tasted. Just when the pub was full, it was quite noisy. If you are in the area, you must visit!

A great place for a meal for two or with the family. You can really just feel comfortable here. The kitchen is always quick and the service also takes care of all your wishes immediately. Unfortunately a little expensive, otherwise we would be here more often. Definitely highly recommended.

Came because of the high Google rating. For someone that comes from South East Asia, we will definitely have a different expectation on Vietnamese cuisines. The dishes here is more fusion I guess but tends to be more salty. Drinks are fantastic, fresh. Service was prompt and professional. Tipping seems to be a thing here these days, gonna adapt though. Wish the lighting would be just slightly brighter as we all have difficulties reading the menu in details.

Vietnamese restaurant in the List district of Hanover/pedestrian zone. Parking is always difficult in this area. Food tasty and rich. Lots of vegetables and more vegetarian. But there is also duck, chicken and fish. Not a classic “Chinese”. Nice staff, clean toilets. Not exactly cheap, but tasty.

Healthy food can be so delicious. Lots of great ingredients, salmon, shrimp, tofu, lots of vegetables, really a dream! The menu is very extensive, you should take your time for all the individually listed ingredients. Only when it comes to desserts could there be a little more (sugar-free) choice, that would be the icing on the cake.

Basically, the Asian cuisine here in the Vietal is good. Today it just wasn't right, from the service to the food and paying. Ordered mango salad with roast beef. Roast beef a little dried out on the edge. Service took the food away again for correction, nice, but then for 10 minutes there was no communication about what was happening/was happening from the location. Then at some point the plate came back... "HERE, WE HAVE PICKED OUT A NEW, AMAZING PIECE OF ROAST BEEF FOR YOU" which is better and fresher. You could see that it was the previous roast beef, which was simply trimmed on both edges. Please, dear gastronomy... The most important thing you have is called authenticity. Transparency with guests is key. A transparent announcement that the roast beef had been put under the knife again wouldn't have bothered me at all. That someone compared to me However, being dishonest is a no-go. Proof of card payment had to be requested separately. A bit strange. It's a shame and overall just a bit disappointing. Maybe you'll do better in the future. Addendum to owner request: Thanks for feedback. The restaurant is cozy and tastefully decorated - fresh flowers everywhere, a pleasant, unobtrusive scent and light background music. The menu offers a wide selection for both meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic spices. The service is friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere, I can definitely recommend this restaurant. Price-performance absolutely OK. Duck fillet with vegetables - 17.90. Non-alcoholic beer - 3.90. Rose - 6.40.

It was original, healthy and delicious - but also very crowded, with little soundproofing, so I quickly became overstimulated. The staff is very attentive and unobtrusive and speaks good German. Studying the map takes a long time, there is a large selection and unusual combinations - it's best to take a look online beforehand! After the main course, even though we were completely full, we ordered the starters again and shared them because they were so delicious. The mocha afterwards is highly recommended.

The food is very tasty and especially the drinks! You can't really complain on site! However, when we ordered home, it felt like the portions were smaller due to the packaging. And a drink with berries, which already smelled a bit strange, unfortunately started to mold less than 10 hours later. Maybe an isolated case. Unfortunately, the starters are a bit small for the price. Basically good, maybe a little expensive, but definitely recommended on site.

The food was tasty, but unfortunately just lukewarm. After pointing this out, the meat was freshly grilled and served again. But vegetables had become cold during that time. The Omega dish was very tasty. The quantity was borderline for the price. The service from the young lady was friendly and attentive...the young waiter was a little arrogant...This probably gets to the heart of the various other comments.
