Very tasteful dishes, food comes in large portion and tastes really good. Prices are great as well, highly recommended.

I thought the restaurant was very nice. It's small but still very spacious. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the servers were very friendly and attentive. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, taking no longer than about five minutes.

Viet Bowl is available as a restaurant and as a takeaway with sidewalk seating. The dishes come from the same kitchen. Today we ate 62, 53, and 12. All very good and served on beautiful plates.

The food tastes good. Unfortunately, I consider it a scam and a rip-off when a 0.75L bottle of "Taunusquell" water is offered on the drinks menu, and then a bottle of tap water, carbonated using a SodaMax, is brought to the table. They weren't even bothered by this "cheating" scheme. So it seems to work pretty smoothly. That's really unacceptable!!!

The service here is getting worse and worse. The waitresses sit around looking at their phones instead of paying attention to the customers. We've been going here for years, but if things continue like this, it'll soon be over. Especially since the quality of the food isn't what it used to be. Value for money 👎🏻 What a shame.

We ate in the restaurant for the first time today. We were very satisfied with the taste of the food. I still have to make two points of criticism. 1. I hope/expect a little more attention from the service. When you clear the plates, you can ask if the guests would like something more to drink or have dessert. But we weren't. I would have liked one more drink. 2. The salad portion was very small for €7.50. There could have been a little more salad. All in all, it was a good experience and we will definitely come back.

Been there twice for a stay in Berlin. Really delicious, great service and great prices, can't complain. Absolute recommendation!!!

There is nothing to complain about. It's a normal Vietnamese restaurant with quite a wide selection of dishes. The portions are large and the service is very nice. A good choice for lunch or dinner. Food is served quite quickly, which is a big advantage of this place.

The reception by three of the restaurant's employees seemed a bit frosty. The employee who served us constantly had an unfriendly expression on her face. We didn't feel comfortable in the restaurant. The dish (fried rice noodles with beef and vegetables) looked good, but it was very oily and the oil/meat tasted strange or old. Drinks are quite expensive. We will eat somewhere else next time.

The food is very tasty, the service is very friendly and the selection is very large. There is also food to go available at the window. Overall, highly recommended. Cleanliness, the toilets and the narrow tables still leave room for improvement. So you shouldn't be too demanding.

The food is definitely quite good, but the staff is so overly unfriendly. If you dare to come with your dog, you will be placed in the corner next to the door without making eye contact. It's easy to wait 10 minutes in an empty restaurant for someone to take pity on you and take an order.

This discreet Vietnamese restaurant in the middle of the neighborhood is AMAZING! I had the spring rolls as a starter and then chicken and rice as my main course. Very high quality, the waitress was nice and the restaurant was quiet and cozy. Highly recommended

Unfortunately the vegetarian nem were not real nem but standard frozen spring rolls. The rest of the dish was delicious though. One of the lamps flickered, which was very irritating while eating and when we pointed this out, unfortunately they didn't fix it and just smiled.

Excellent! I ordered a pork curry and it was a great choice. I loved the taste and freshness of the dish. The restaurant is very cozy and pleasant. I will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Vers bereid eten,grote porties personeel vriendelijk en snel. Zitplaatsen iets onkonvertabel ( hokkers i.p.v Stoelen) gezellig en outhentiek ingericht. Prijzen voor de drank iets aan de hoge kant.

Vi var her for flere år siden men noe har skjedd for lokalet nå luktet godt og maten var nydelig og smaksrik. Både nr. 301 (litt spicy) og crispy duck (nr. 310) smakte nydelig med saftig kjøttbiter. Anbefales! Hyggelig betjening og koselig atmosfære. Hit kommer vi helt sikkert igjen!

Food here is always delicious! My favorite is the red curry with vegetables. Take-away is more affordable, and there are tables outside to sit in. Food is very fast to arrive. Eating in is also very pleasant 🥰 totally recommend!

I ordered food from Wolt and what I got looked terrible. I ordered at 11:30 and as I see, the salad looked like it was from yesterday, the summer rolls didn't meet my expectations. 1 star is still too high!!!!!!!!!!

There is a proper restaurant but on the other side also benches outside where one can order food and it’s cheaper than if you sit in the restaurant. You have to order your food through the window to the kitchen. Love this restaurant, good food. The inner space in the restaurant has of course more variety of food, but the outside is good enough for me, esp since it is a bit cheaper, as there is no table service.

Quick service, reasonable portion size, reasonable food.

We always enjoy going to Viet Bowl because the daily menu changes regularly, meaning we get delicious, cheap and varied food! The service is very pleasant and despite the pick-up service and a lot of excitement all around, we feel like we are in good hands and never have to wait long! In contrast to other Vietnamese, the drinks - including the white wine and the Aperol for example - are affordable and really good 😊

Good and extensive menu. Good service. All dishes arrived quickly, were deliciously prepared and served in a visually appealing manner. The duck was served cooked pink, fine crust, delicious sauce. The atmosphere is rather sparse and the chairs are not comfortable. But an absolute highlight for the district.

The dishes are fast, the flavors are very rich and at a good price. I would return.

Here there is once the restaurant and the "window" I ate at the window. The food is really tasty, but depending on the dish it can sometimes be a bit lacking. I like to go there every now and then

I had it delivered and was very disappointed. Completely oversalted and too sweet. You couldn't taste anything else. It was close to inedible. Delivery took over 45 minutes. The king prawns were unpeeled and very fatty. But the food was still very good when it arrived. The driver was very nice.

I’m so happy we found this restaurant! The food and service were outstanding. We tried the duck curry and I highly recommend it. I usually don’t eat duck but the dish was delicious and out of this world! Also, the prices were great, and the servers were very nice and friendly. I would go back everyday if I lived in Berlin.

So disappointed! After a starter (summer rolls), and a main (curry) I left very very hungry. Portions are insanely small and expensive for what you get. More like for an aperitivo rather than a meal. Staff isn’t either nice or rude but a smile goes a long way. They rounded up the bill without asking. I was so upset by the very mediocre food and hunger that I left. There are better average pan Asian places around… (for Vietnamese for sure — which i won’t leave ever again to try something new and so disappointing).

I sat outside and it wasn't all that comfortable as the legroom on the wooden chairs was limited. What I didn't see was that there were more tables around the corner that were more comfortable to sit on. The vegetarian summer rolls and the chicken were ok but nothing special.

Been here for the 2nd time. Vietnamese cuisine. Ate some soup and duck. My companion also had soup and summer rolls. The soups were okay, but not very tasty. The duck too. The highlight were the summer rolls. They convinced me. The prices are quite low. They're just snack prices. Just with tables inside and outside. Anyone who likes that is in good hands here. If you have higher demands, you should look for something else. But you always get full.

Service is this restaurant was awful, we had to come to waiters ourselves to be seated, then to order and to pay. Food was good but the level of hospitality does not match with it and damaged the overall experience. I don’t recommend this place :(

After we tested all Viet Bowl locations this week, the conclusion of the test is now clear... Viet Bowl Friedrichshain takes second place after Viet Bowl in NeuKöln... very tasty... very cheap in comparison... we'll definitely come gladly again...Merci

Never here again 🙅‍♀️ I was there today during my lunch time and asked nicely what the average time from court is. She was already totally unfriendly. I then ordered something even though I didn't say but they packed my food and then I still sat there and ate there. She automatically assumed that I would go away. When I was finished, she yelled behind me that I should take empty packaging. I haven't experienced anything like this in a long time. Totally unfriendly service, no respect for the customers. You're treated like dirt. Food wasn't even good either. If you're a restaurant you can't expect customers to clear their tables. The packaging belonged to the restaurant and not to me. And yelling after a customer for just that is ABSOLUTELY NO GO. As a food blogger, I haven't experienced anything like this for a long time.

Excellent! I ordered a pork curry, and it was a great choice. I loved the flavor and freshness of the dish. The place is very cosy and pleasant. I will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Starters were perfect. Main course of tofu (soup) was tasteless. Sorry, I know that much better from Vietnam. Main course with salmon and rice is highly recommended. Dessert baked banana and sticky rice with mango are delicious and recommended. Unfortunately there was an unpleasant smell in the men's toilet. Payment possible with credit card.

To be honest, the quality varies. If things have to go quickly, they can be done quickly. We recently ordered take-away at half past nine and the quality wasn't great, the rice was sticky and the chicken was over-fried. Just ok for 7 euros per dish. It used to be better.

Hello! Worms in food!!!! My husband and I ate here with our son on April 12, 2024. My son had worms in his food!!! We showed it to the staff. The man flattened the piece of meat that had the worm on it and said, "Chicken"...I was stunned and said no, it was a worm. His colleague, who spoke German, didn't want to believe us...so a discussion arose. It's a shame, we've been eating there for over 10 years. A different approach to this situation would have been more appropriate. So it was our last visit! Best regards

Nice restaurant, good size of dishes and prices are ok. But we paid €6.90 for a bottle (obviously home-sparked tap water), which I find quite pricey.

I didn't eat or drink anything in this restaurant. I was only there to use the toilet, this was possible for a small fee and the owners of the restaurant were very nice and accommodating. I found the restaurant to be very well decorated in a traditional manner and definitely worth a visit for lunch.

All in all totally fine. The food is solid, the prices are moderate, and the service is quick.

I was ONLY in the toilet there, unfortunately these Google Maps and the place reviews annoy me from time to time because I don't always experience anything worth knowing there. Often there are places with a toilet or places to change or places to ask about the route etc... I thought the service there was great, despite the notice on the door saying otherwise, I was allowed to use the toilet for free.

We spontaneously went for lunch. The food was fresh and brought to the table quickly. The service employee was also very nice. Unfortunately the food was a bit “bland” in taste. As well as my papaya salad and my rice noodle soup bowl (veggie). Only the broth was seasoned, nothing else. The same with the salad, for the starter. Good in itself, but unfortunately not a highlight. Price-performance was just okay.

I was there on Sunday and ate duck gratinated with soy sauce and vegetables. Since then I have had to take stomach drops. I don't know if it was the food, but the side salad didn't look so fresh anymore. It upset my stomach slightly. Not so great

ATTENTION VEGETARIANS: According to the menu, I ordered vegetarian (!) summer rolls with tofu. These came with a light clear sauce. This tasted suspiciously like fish. I then asked the waitress if the sauce was vegetarian. She said his. I should have said that beforehand. It doesn't work at all! Anyone who orders vegetarian summer rolls with tofu does not assume that fish sauce will suddenly be delivered. According to the man at the next table, this is always the case here. The PHO soup with tofu didn't taste particularly good, especially the tofu tasted dry. The broth was brownish. I didn't dare ask if this soup was really vegetarian because I was already feeling sick... Bad service at the beginning too. When I had already sat down after the male employee had nodded, jacket off, reading the menu, etc., the waitress suddenly came and asked me to move to a smaller table, even though the restaurant was not completely full. It's ok in principle, but after you initially don't receive any instructions as to where to sit down, you can't suddenly move the guest again, especially since the restaurant wasn't even half full. Ambiance didn't seem comfortable to me, more like mass processing. At the end when billing, the waitress repeated twice that it cost €18.50 when I handed her a 20 bill because she wanted to ask me to give a tip. Actively demanding a tip after this experience is pretty bold.

The staff is very unfriendly. When I asked for a plate after ordering more beer, the employee told me to ask immediately. I never want to go back there again.

It's a shame, but this place seemed anything but cozy to us. It's cold, it's constantly drafting, the tables aren't wiped down. The food was edible but unseasoned. Didn't taste like anything. We won't go there again.

I made a delivery today and I am sooo disappointed! I ordered TWO soups, and I got a paper bag very wet, yes it was my soups that were spilled... so now I am really hungry.

Very tasty food, really huge portions,easily can share. Nice staff and relaxing atmosphere: not loud, with some tables separate from the main part. You'll eat good here!

Delicious. Varied and inexpensive. The stools are not particularly comfortable. But the food makes up for it.

Sehr leckere Gerichte. Das Lokal ist recht voll gestellt mit Tischen und es wird schnell laut. Das läd nicht zum Verweilen ein. Ist vielleicht auch so gedacht. Muss jeder für sich entscheiden, was er draus macht.

Perfect place for a meal you remember - Big fan of crisby duck

Dieses vietnamesische Restaurant ist mein meist besuchtes in ganz Berlin. Ich gehe hier schon seit vielen Jahren hin. Für mich persönlich sind wenn es um eine leckere Mahlzeit für zwischendurch geht, die gebratenen Nudel hier das Highlight und ich würde behaupten die besten in Berlin. Aber auch was die restlichen Speisen angeht wurde ich hier noch nie enttäuscht und war immer super zufrieden. Ich werde definitiv auch noch die nächsten Jahre hier weiterhin einkehren.

Muss leider sagen das mir das rote Curry mir Hähnchen nicht so zugesagt hat. Fand die Portion recht klein und die Hähnchenstreifen musste ich auch suchen, ansonsten war es okay. Kellnerin war freundlich und aufmerksam. Kann man mal versuchen, muss man aber mMn nicht unbedingt.

Tolles Vietnamesisches Restaurant. Günstig und sehr schnell serviert.
