Via Roma Ristorante in Bonn

I ordered for the first time yesterday and I have to admit I was very positively surprised. Very customer friendly and the food tasted 10/10. I will definitely come again.

Addendum: I received a partial refund 👍 We ordered pizzas today for a birthday party. The order was pre-ordered for 1:15 p.m., but at 1:40 p.m., the pizzas still hadn't arrived. They explained to us on the phone that there had been a mistake, but delivery would be made within the next five minutes. After another 20 minutes, the pizzas finally arrived, but unfortunately, they weren't the size we ordered. Instead of the 32cm pizzas we ordered, they delivered 28cm pizzas, which was very annoying. As compensation, we were offered a discount on our next order. After informing them that we don't live in Bonn and were only there as guests, there was no further response. It's a shame. Some of the pizzas had quite thin toppings, but at least they were tasty.

It's always a pleasure to come here. The service is super friendly, and the food is truly delicious, whether you order Indian or Italian. And all of this at an absolutely fair price-performance ratio. We'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. At least the delivery. The pizzas were well-topped and looked good, but the taste... We scraped off the toppings, but even that didn't taste good. The stars go to the bed man on the phone and the delivery boy, as well as the delivery time. We would never order again.

You always have to wait a bit for your food, even if you pre-order and arrive a little later. The chicken is unfortunately quite tough, but otherwise the food is good.

You feel like you're in the garden of a normal semi-detached house with a somewhat kitschy stream in the greenery. The food, however, was wonderfully delicious, whether starter or main course, and the service was very attentive and highly recommended.

In contrast to the previous owner, it's exemplary. The staff are particularly hardworking and friendly. The food is also great. 👍

I went to Via Roma with a friend today for the first time because the reviews were really good. As a vegetarian, I was really excited about the Calzone Verdura. When I ate it, I was even happier. I've never eaten a calzone that was so delicious, visually appealing, and so generously filled with fresh vegetables. We thought the prices were reasonable, and the service was like that of a Michelin-starred restaurant. A quick glance was enough and the friendly waiter was there straight away. If only it were like that everywhere! And then there was the mango lassi for dessert, which was amazing! The next table was serving Indian dishes, which also looked very, very appealing. We'll try them next time. An absolute must!

The food (Italian) was very good, and the waiter, who also seemed to be the boss, was very friendly. I would describe the waitress who served us afterward as neutral; a smile now and then wouldn't hurt, but she wasn't unfriendly either. Just not customer-oriented.

I can certainly understand the positive review of the food I received today. The lasagna was an undefined mass: about a third was liquid and easy to tip out. There was hardly any minced meat—just thin cheese and something resembling béchamel sauce. The salad was fresh and okay. Never again!

First of all: I'm happy to leave the old review up, but after three very unsatisfactory deliveries in a row, I unfortunately have to revise my review. Either they've forgotten how to cook Indian food there, or the chef has changed: I don't know. The three identical dishes for all three orders were far from the taste and quality of previous deliveries. The mild version was ordered each time. Lacking in flavor, the chicken tikka masala wasn't creamy and mild, but so fiery and spicy that it couldn't be described as flavorful. The lamb curry was very similar. Lamb saag was reminiscent of pureed spinach sauce with Tabasco oil and unfortunately tasted like that, too. Very unfortunate, but I won't be ordering from there again. Old review: My new purveyor to the court 🤭 The Indian dishes here are highly recommended! In my opinion, the best in Bonn and extremely close to traditional Indian cuisine. I've ordered countless times, and they were delivered fresh and hot. Now we're trying the rest of the menu. Definitely highly recommended.

6.25 Waited 68 minutes at Lieferando instead of the predicted 48. PastaPollo Gnocchi was great. Daal Makhni was disappointing because everything was turned into a liquid mush - tasted good, but they should have informed us that the vegetables were completely pureed. 1.25 Instead of the 42 minutes predicted by Lieferando, we waited exactly 99 minutes... without being called about the massive delay. Pizzas are great, no ifs or buts. 1.24 Instead of the 32 minutes predicted by Lieferando, we waited 60 minutes - with no delay notification. We ordered the mild butter chicken - it was still quite spicy, but flavorful. The chicken curry cream tasted good.

Above-average friendly service, very tasty food.

I went to [VIA ROMA] recently and really loved the food! I tried the dal makhni and butter chicken, and both were super tasty. The dal makhni was creamy and full of flavor, and the butter chicken was so soft and delicious with a rich, buttery gravy. I’ll definitely come back again and tell my friends to try it too. Highly recommend!

After the owner changed, they started out strong. But then they slowed down so much that the pitza smelled and didn't taste good. I couldn't tolerate it either. I wouldn't even eat it anymore if you gave me money for it!

I was recently a guest at Via Romain Villich and I was completely impressed. I received a warm welcome as soon as I walked in, and the service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The meal was a real pleasure The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and stylish at the same time, ideal for a romantic evening for two or a meeting with friends. I can recommend Via Roma to anyone who is looking for a special experience in Villich-Bonn. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We spontaneously visited Via Roma with 12 people. The dishes (both the Indian specialties, pizzas and pasta dishes) were all very tasty and attractively presented. The selection on the menu is absolutely sufficient so that everyone can find something on the menu. The employees were very friendly and the atmosphere on site was cozy. We were completely satisfied and would like to come back again :)

Since I had a few appointments at work and didn't feel like cooking, I went to eat at the Via Roma restaurant. I was greeted very warmly by the staff and was immediately shown a table. I was quickly given a memory card and able to order a drink straight away. The minestrone and lasagna that I ordered were prepared and served in a reasonable amount of time. The soup also came with pizza rolls. For me, the whole thing was perfect. Great service and good food, what more could you want? I'll be happy to go next time. Thanks to the team.

I ordered the daal makhni with naan knoblauchbrot, and it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh. I also tried their mango lassi, which was smooth and flavorful. And the quality of food was excellent. I will definitely recommend this restaurant (VIA ROMA) to my friends! 5/5 stars.

I've been to Via Roma several times under the new direction. Both the pizzas were crispy and tasty and the curries were a taste experience. The Via Roma is a real asset for our towns and highly recommended.

Regarding delivery service: Only partial deliveries were received for the second time and the rest of the food ordered and paid for came 45 minutes later. Pizza ok, but way too oily/cheesy. Indian dishes do not contain the ingredients mentioned. (Paneer Korma e.g. without raisins and cashews...)

ViaRomaBonn Italian & Indian specialties We are not from Bonn and were excited about the combination of Italian and Indian! Both just fit together really well here. We enjoyed the food very much. The ambience is right, lots of space and comfortable seating with quiet music playing. We deduct two stars for service. Very nice and friendly service, but unfortunately they didn't always understand what you wanted, and we weren't properly informed about the ingredients, even when we asked about nuts in the dessert, which is very important for my little daughter. So we got a dessert with nuts, where my little one immediately had an allergic reaction and we had to give her emergency medication. That's not possible, sorry! Here you should take a closer look at what is really in what you give to the customers. We still see this as forgivable and were still very satisfied with our visit there. If we are in Bonn again, we will definitely go there again, just because of the newly announced Indian menu. Recommendation 100% PS: It says online that you can only pay in cash, that's not correct! You can also pay there with card or Paypal.

We had lunch delivered today and are super satisfied! Ordering was very easy via WhatsApp. The food was still warm and fresh. Above all, the Pizza Quattro Fromaggi, Tagliatelle Salmone and the Wienerschnitzel were super tasty and filling! A free bottle of cola was included as a surprise. We are enthusiastic VIA ROMA customers and either go to the restaurant or have the delicious pizzas and pasta delivered to us. Very nice and empathetic staff and a very cozy atmosphere with beautiful colors and always new flower arrangements. We find it great and remarkable that the boss and his crew have managed to turn the "gray" restaurant - which has not been running for the last few years - into a pleasant and good quality restaurant with a good price-performance ratio.
