We dined there by chance one evening, and it couldn't have been better. The staff, the ambiance, and the food are truly world-class and incredibly authentic. They were the best gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce I've ever had. Highly recommended!

An Italian gem in Bonn with great service and a small but fine menu. The food is impeccable and very good. The drinks menu is extensive, and the limoncello and tonic are also very tasty. The interior is beautifully designed, with a pleasant atmosphere, and a small terrace outside is perfect for relaxing on balmy summer evenings. Overall, highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

Full marks because it's the best! A random find. I had absolutely no expectations, but everything was just perfect. You shouldn't expect a pizzeria, but you get the finest Italian food at a fair price. The service was also super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was fantastic. We're visiting Bonn, but we'll be back for this alone!

Absolutely unfriendly! There was a free seat outside in 30-degree heat (plus a reservation), but we were still turned away. On top of that, the interior smelled absolutely terrible. The waiter wasn't even in his right mind and spoke in a very antisocial manner. Not recommended!

Very interesting restaurant. You can choose from a large handful of pasta dishes, but the few they do have are truly special! I had the Mexicana, and the combination with guacamole and spices was unexpected, but incredibly delicious and filling. They also had an extensive wine list. The prices are definitely steep, but that's what you pay for this quality these days. The service was very attentive and friendly!

The photos don't really do it justice – this classic corner restaurant on the romantic Rose Street has a real atmosphere. The menu is pleasingly small – always a good sign – and the food is freshly prepared, delicious, and visually appealing. Add to that the attentive service. I'd be happy to come back.

A relatively small selection of dishes, but perfectly prepared and seasoned. A bit pricey, but I think the quality is justified. If we're ever in the area again, we'd be happy to come back.

Eat Italian is such a gem that I don't really want to write about it. Everything is perfect here: from the ambience to the first-class service and, most importantly, the culinary creations that delight us every time. The menu is quite clear and deliberately avoids pizza or typical dishes that you can find on every corner. The menu is always geared towards the respective season and is supplemented by a few daily or weekly specials. The wine list only has a few items, but it also fits in perfectly with the food selection. Get advice and follow the staff’s recommendations. Reservation well in advance is recommended to visit as the restaurant only has a few seats!

I reserved our table online so we didn't have to wait. We had the table shortly after opening and so it was still very empty and quiet. The restaurant gradually filled up but it was still possible to have a good conversation. Great ambience and welcoming atmosphere. The food and wine were, as written in most of the reviews, excellent. Clear recommendation!!

Das Essen in diesem Restaurant war wirklich fantastisch. Jedes Gericht war mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet, frisch und geschmacklich hervorragend. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Qualität der Zutaten sowie die kreative Präsentation der Speisen. Auch das Ambiente war sehr angenehm und einladend. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und stets höflich. Man wurde herzlich empfangen und während des gesamten Aufenthalts bestens betreut. Der Service war schnell und professionell, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, das ich jederzeit gerne wiederholen würde.

Klein aber fein. Ehrliche handgemachte Gerichte. Wir waren dort um meinen Geburtstag zu feiern. Da wir uns in Bonn nicht auskennen. sind wir hier auf dieses italienische Restaurant gestoßen. Etwas abgelegen, aber supernettes Personal. Das Essen war stimmig und sehr lecker. Wir waren begeistert von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Gerne wieder, wenn wir mal wieder in Bonn sind.

Update: still great! Brussels sprouts, bacon, walnut, honey and chili was simply 10/10! Orange sorbet with chocolate is a dream! We come more often now! Really absolutely delicious! We will come back with a new card! (It's a shame that the current menu isn't online) The tagliatelle with bacon, walnuts, honey and chili were great! The Bolognese was also extremely tasty!

I showed up there spontaneously today and was greeted in a very friendly manner. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and the food is fantastic. I felt very comfortable there and am looking forward to my next visit - but then with a reservation. It doesn't surprise me that "Eat Italian" has been voted the best Italian restaurant in Bonn for the last four years.

It was my first time visiting this Italian restaurant and I can say I will definitely be back! The restaurant is small but offers a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Due to its popularity, you should definitely reserve in advance. For starters I had the beetroot carpaccio with Italian soft cheese and for the main course there was homemade tortelloni with porcini mushrooms and truffle sauce, both of which were a delight!

Needs improvement The good reviews are incomprehensible. Mediocre, not very attentive service, no main course (meat or fish) on the menu, which is completely inappropriate for an Italian restaurant. Food okay, but nothing special. Price-performance ratio inconsistent. Very dense seating, no privacy: tables for four become two tables for two with plexiglass panels. Instructions in the online booking “table for a birthday” will not be taken into account.

Das Restaurant wurde von einer Empfangsdame von unserem Hotel empfohlen. Wir sind spontan vorbeigegangen und wurden begrüßt wie Stammgäste. Herrliche Atmosphäre und hervorragende, gute und frische italienisches Vorspeisen. Wir haben nur zwei Vorspeisen zu uns genommen, was für das Restaurant überhaupt kein Problem war. Beim nächsten Mal in Bonn sind wir auf jeden Fall wieder da.

Small cozy restaurant. There is only a small menu, but the selection is good and the food tasted really good. The portions are rather small, but nicely prepared. Unlike many other Italian restaurants, pizza is not served here.

Very nice atmosphere, the food is really tasty (I rated the price/performance ratio with only 2 stars), good selection of wines. Unfortunately, the portions are far too small, no bread is offered with the pasta, and the prices are now (not always the case) exorbitantly exaggerated.

6/24/22: Friday evening Italian meal instead of a concert We found Eat Italian Bonn, a great restaurant with a small but fine menu, excellent wines and a delicious Grappa Riserva. We initially sat outside and were served attentively. The waiting time was entertaining and reasonable with a greeting from the kitchen. Out of consideration for the neighborhood, we were asked to go inside for a digestif after 10 p.m. An all-round successful evening for which we would like to thank the entire team again. Thank you for the lovely evening and our best recommendation.

One word: delicious! Friends took us to this pearl in the north of Bonn yesterday. Our starters and main courses tasted wonderful. Each one a taste explosion. We'd love to come back.

This is an outstanding restaurant. The map is small, but shows excellent quality. The atmosphere is very cozy. Since Eat-Italian is not large and the quality is really good, you should definitely reserve a table before visiting. The service is courteous and very friendly.

I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The menu is small but excellently selected - a real sign of quality. The truffle pasta was a delight. The dessert, a cheesecake tiramisu, was also extremely good. Not only was it delicious, but it was beautifully presented. A place that I can definitely recommend – I would love to come back!

My tagliolini alla puttanesca was excellent, my white wine was also great. I was also completely impressed by the cheesecake tiramisu, the espresso was wonderfully aromatic. I didn't like the service at all. No one at our table had their plate put at their place by the service, everyone had to accept it and even when clearing away the lady expected everything to be given to her. Sorry, but service is different!

A truly special restaurant with Italian dishes interpreted differently. I've been there on two business trips so far and both times I enjoyed very good truffle pasta and a very well put together cheesecake tiramisu. The service was extremely attentive and friendly.
