A wonderful country inn. Excellent regional food, delicious beer, and friendly service. A visit is guaranteed the next time you pass through. 👍🏻

We were completely satisfied with our stay. Our room request was accommodated. We ate wonderfully at the Pfauen. The marinated wild hare leg and the trio of desserts were delicious. There are real chefs at the stove there.

Quiet, plenty of parking, The rooms are very dated, but there are apparently some renovated ones. You can overlook all of that, but what I find consistently unacceptable is that the window is open and the room is cold upon arrival. It doesn't bother me much, but if my girlfriend were with me, that would be the end of it. Furthermore, the towels are frayed and consistently musty, so much so that you might as well shower again immediately after using the shower. I stay in hotels all year round. I've been in the area for seven weeks now, staying in a different hotel in this price range every week, and I definitely had to give this one a negative review. Yes, there are renovated rooms, and the fact that I didn't have one isn't really my issue, but the circumstances described justify this rating! In response to the hotel's reply, I didn't complain about the price, but rather about the condition of the room as described. Furthermore, the fact that it wasn't a renovated room was in no way a criticism!

An absolutely fantastic place. The food is presented like a work of art, and incredibly delicious. Mr. Sklenar and his team have created an oasis of fine dining here, still a hidden gem. I've seen and eaten a lot and experienced many things around the world, but this place deserves a Michelin star. I would gladly award it. Keep up the great work!
