Verona Italian Restaurant in Berlin

The service was very friendly, the food - well. We wouldn't come back. The pizza dough was very soft, the lasagna had something indefinable in terms of taste. You could eat it, but lasagna tasted different.

We were completely satisfied with the service – the team was friendly and attentive. The food (No. 48 + spaghetti) was exceptionally delicious, with some of the best pasta we have ever tasted at an Italian restaurant - be it in Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Landau or Munich. We would love to come back on our next visit to Berlin!

Food Is bland. Nothing to write home about. Waiters are bored, looking at how you're eating. Only reason for the 2 stars Is the nice location. Really wouldn't recommend

I spontaneously looked where you could grab a bite to eat and came across this place via Google maps. So I spontaneously went. The first impression was very good and tidy and clean. There is also a beautiful outdoor area by the water, which invites you to linger when the weather is pleasant. The map was neither too big nor too small. So we ordered a liter of Lambrusco, pasta with grilled pollock and a pizza. The food was beautifully presented and served without much fanfare. The pasta also had a really large piece of salmon and tasted excellent, the wine came with a wine cooler and the pizza wasn't dripping with fat, but was on point. The taste was wonderful. You don't have to write anymore. The service was discreet and on point. Ultimately, I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

We come to this restaurant regularly and are impressed every time. The food is excellent, you can tell the high quality and the love that goes into it. The service is always friendly, attentive and creates a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. It's always a pleasure to be here - thank you to the whole team!

Friendly staff, very good food and very cozy both inside and outside! Special requests are taken into account and you are served quickly.

I don’t recommend, had the worse food poisoning of my life. It’s not an authentic Italian restaurant, it is owned by Indians and all the team is Indian. Not only the taste is bad but I got a food poisoning probably due to the lack of hygiene. I put 1 star because I can’t put 0

A wonderful restaurant next to the river in a beautiful location. We went to this lovely restaurant on Christmas day. The prices are reasonable, the food came at a reasonable time, the portions were normal and filling and the food was excellent in taste and presentation. The staff spoke fluent English and they were polite, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the place was clean. This restaurant is a hidden gem where everyone must visit for good Italian food. This is one of the sweet memories we will take back home with us from our visit in Berlin. Totally recommend..

I can’t lie this food is insanely delicious must go to this restaurant. The staff is nice, and the atmosphere is warm and really cozy. The menu has got a twist to it as well with some unique dishes. I loved the brownie and the schnitzel. Great

There is a person on bar speaks in Hindi very rudely and behaves so rude, and another staff is good but he behave rude with Liferando riders and lifer service is to much waiting time.

Terrible experience due to the total lack of empathy on the part of the staff, they gave us a table in a dark place and they kept hanging around us, I imagine because of our condition as Latinos.

A very nice restaurant that doesn't seem to be overcrowded. If the weather is nice you can also sit outside.

This is not “real” Italian. Food was ok, but doesn't invite you to come back. What really disappointed us was the service. The bill was simply placed on the table without asking in advance whether we would like dessert or drinks - we would have liked both - but we were literally thrown out. We live in the neighborhood and will not be coming back nor will we recommend it.

it has been an overall good experience. The service was normal, nothing extraordinary, but what really stood out was the variety on the menu. While they did offer the typical Italian dishes, I was surprised to see options like burgers and tacos as well. It’s not something you’d expect in an Italian restaurant, but it added an interesting twist. All in all, it was a pleasant meal with a few surprises along the way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Personally I opted for a pizza, which was exactly what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. My partner had an Argentinian steak and a curry soup as a starter. The soup was too delicious not to share. The homemade tiramisu was like a icing on the cake. It was also a great occasion for the children, and the staff was very attentive. All in all, a very nice experience.

Placed order, called to change order, which was not possible. Then the delivery time was repeatedly extended until the store closed. Wow.

A lovely restaurant on the side of the river. The service was good and the food was delicious! Can’t fault it at all! I had the Spätzle and my Dad had the Carbonara and both were lovely! Highly recommend. Wasn’t too expensive either.

Strange dish not Italian at all, the setting makes up for the service not friendly not even a hello when you arrive. Out of 20 tables we were the only ones eating, the others were cautiously drinking, we asked for a coke 0 they gave us normal coke!!!!! 5 minutes after they took our plates they put our table away without asking us if everything was going well and without knowing if we wanted dessert., the waitress didn't even set the table we had to set it ourselves! !!!!!!! Conclusion never set foot in this restaurant again.

Service was horrendous. The food was mediocre at best and had nothing to do with authentic Italian cuisine. When in an 'Italian' restaurant, neither the chef nor the waitress speaks Italian, and the menu offers everything from burgers to Bavarian specialties, one should be highly skeptical.

Sit, and enjoy the great authentic Italian food, served by "almost" Italian servers... The service was adequate for its price, but it could've been a bit better. The atmosphere, works against the place. Since there's a very loud Indian restaurant behind it, that doesn't allow for a conversation that doesn't end up stopping to comment on how loud the music is. And the canal behind it is equally annoying, since the smell is so abhorrently terrible that I couldn't even smell the great food. Great food, bad spot.

Impossible, €1 is charged to use the toilet. This is more customer friendly!

Berlin is having one of the best European food scenes. This was a painfully bad experience :( Saw the review was bad, but we were hungry and wanted a quick bite. Shame...

I ordered a pizza to pick up via Lieferando. The pizza was really good for the price. But there is only one star because the waitress was very pushy and asked a lot of private questions, which I could have tolerated. But he wrote to me on WhatsApp two days later. He can actually only have my cell phone number from the order. This behavior is not acceptable. Despite the good food, I won't order here again.

The cook doesn’t know how to make Italian food. Every time I went there the food had problems. (Last issue) Spaghetti carbonara is not made with cream and cheap ham torn in pieces and tossed on the top of the spaghetti. The food lost its quality since a while ago. It is no longer good. I stopped going there because of that.

So wenig Anspruch an sich selbst als Küche muss man erst Mal haben. Das Essen war essbar, mehr nicht. Total lieblos in jeder Hinsicht: Anrichtung, Zubereitung, Geschmack… Definitiv auf Laufkundschaft ausgerichtet, Wiederholungstäter wird es sicher nicht geben. Der Service war nett.

Unfortunately it was one of the worst restaurant visits. Bruschetta had an unpleasant bitter aftertaste and the topping on the tarte flambée was so marginal that it felt like it was added with tweezers. In addition, the service was very unfriendly and did not understand our request to pack the food to take away and wanted to argue with us about it afterwards. All in all a restaurant that you should visit as a last resort.

Waited a very long time for the food, when it finally arrived there were only three of us, while the fourth had to wait 20 minutes for his. The cola was watered down so it tasted little and found hair in the pizza.

The service here is terrible. All the other guests got a bread basket, except us. From the beginning we were looked down upon. We ordered steak, the waiter didn't even ask how we wanted the steak. It arrived to us completely dry and tough. When we asked if we could at least get a dip with the fries, there was no answer. The waitress turned around and continued working. When we asked her nicely again, she complained in English that she would bring us something and that we should wait. The dip was slammed on the table and without saying a word, she turned around and left. You feel very unwelcome here. Furthermore, these are not real Italians, but Indians. The food tastes terrible. The fish that came with the tagliatelle was completely dry and hardly edible.

Very well eaten, very nice service at normal prices. Very pleasant courtyard in the evening.

I ordered the pasta with shrimp and lobster. The shrimps had a terrible metallic taste, as though they were frozen way past their expiration date then defrosted and put in my meal. Unfortunately, I have been on the toilet for most of the day today after eating only a few of them. Update: I had to go to the emergency room last night for food poisoning with 39 celcius fever. I’m still battling severe illness from those shrimps. Please avoid this Resturaunt to save your life Update #2: had an emergency doctor come give me fluid. My fever keeps increasing. I wish I never ate here and I hope and pray to god everyone reading this never eats here either. Poisoning a patron just to say a few euros. Shame on these people.

Overpriced food that didn't live up to expectations...

I loved the Burguer! It's well served with a fresh salad and French fries potatoes! I also loved the Berliner Weiß red beer - sweet and refreshing, a good catch for the end of the day! The ambience was quite nice and the price quite fair! I recommend it!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, von großer Vorspeise wurde abgeraten, weil es zu viel ist. Die Pizza war die vielleicht beste Pizza, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Knuspriger Rand, leckerer, dünner Boden, trotzdem nicht lätschig. Mal sehen, ob ich eine Nachspeise schaffe. Das war nicht mein letzter Besuch.

Outside our hotel on the banks of the Spree. Beautiful location to sit and enjoy the sun and people watch x the food when we ate in the evening was tremendous. Pizza was very fresh and the pasta pollo excellent. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in and around markischen museum

The season menu includes asparagus and boiled potatoes with butter for EUR 17.90. Ordered because I like asparagus and not many other dishes are vegetarian without cheese on the menu. For EUR 17.90 I was served 4 normally thick sticks of asparagus and a potato, divided into 4 quarters. . . I was honestly speechless. . . I didn't complain because of the occasion (during a family meal), I should have. . . The rest were satisfied with the dishes, lasagna and tagliatelle with salmon were much larger portions and were said to be good

The stars say it all again. Super nice staff, food very, very good. Price / offer: Very good. Delicious spaetzle for 13 euros. What more do you want. Gladly again.

We enjoyed this restaurant so much! The food was fantastic. The interior of Verona is charming and the outside is lovely, with seating along the river. The service was AMAZING! We were treated warmly by everyone we encountered and they were very knowledge, helping us choose our wines and entrees. We will return our next visit to Berlin!

We spent 5 days in Berlin and ate at this restaurant twice. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was charming on the inside and lovely on the outside, with seating along the river. And the service... AMAZING. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. We were treated beautifully and we will absolutely return to Verona on our next trip!

I eat at Resturant Verona very often and can really recommend it to everyone. In terms of the ambience and the location, it is simply great, especially the location directly on the Spree where you have a wonderful view while eating Service is very good and very polite. We (4 people over 70) had dinner in the “Verona” restaurant on April 25th, 2024. Since a menu with liver was only offered on the special "asparagus menu", I asked whether these meals were also available without asparagus. (Since I personally don't eat asparagus) The waiter (No.2) said, "no problem at all". Even though I didn't explicitly ask about the reduced price, I naturally assumed that the non-delivery of the "main ingredient, asparagus", would result in a reduction in the lavish price of €26.90. My question when I presented the invoice about a reduction in the price was dismissed with the simple answer: "We don't have that." Management did not respond to two email queries. I feel like the restaurant cheated me out of a service, even if the asparagus wasn't planned to be reduced, it could have been delivered separately. The other participants at the meal would definitely have been happy about the asparagus. This question was not asked by the waiter. We were all disappointed and will not visit the restaurant again.

Great location on the canal. Great food. I had Wienerschnitzel (original veal) perfectly fried as it should be. My husband had pizza with shrimp and a lot of other things on it and it was also excellent. Prices are absolutely correct.

We were in the restaurant as part of a birthday party with a group of eight people. At the time of our visit the restaurant was not very busy. After the supply of drinks initially started well and we were asked relatively quickly about the food, we then decided relatively quickly to let the bill come. Unfortunately, the service reads and we couldn't order drinks in a timely manner otherwise it would be certainly turned out to be a pleasant round. Overall it was a bit disappointing as we were all in a celebratory mood.

A very nice restaurant, great atmosphere. The service was good and the food came quickly. The price-performance ratio is right. However, as dessert we had a Viennese apple strudel that was only warm at the beginning and at the end.... (warmed up in the microwave?) In any case, it tasted like cardboard. But otherwise pretty nice...

You know it’s gonna be an experience when they have 3 different continents on the menu card.. it was cheap for a reason. But! When that is said the view was nice and the waitress did their best.. pasta was overcooked and the sauce was definitely from the nearby shop. not coming back

Ordered on Uber Eats. 3 of 8 items missing, one starter, one soup and one pizza. Food that was delivered tasted terrible, absolutely the worst Italian restaurant I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering. Avoid!!

To be quite honest, I regret having to advise against it. There's not much going for it, the only good thing is that in Germany you can eat at any time (not in the evening unfortunately because everything closes early) from midday until dinner , this remains open, not in France in general. The waiter is quite unpleasant, which is why I tried to put up with it so as not to be penalized excessively in I don't know what way. -> The first thing he asks before even knowing how to say hello regardless of the language, is IF I PAY BY CASH! I replied that it would be by card and there, he continued to make the head but this time to the power of a thousand. -> I settle down - fortunately the setting remains pleasant and calm, especially being the only customer in a restaurant, quite a funny experience! - and there, he puts pressure on me by asking if I have a drink with my dish, I look and it logically takes a few seconds (and not minutes or even more, as with some people though) before I decide, there he shows himself annoyed because he obviously doesn't want to work (yet, there was no one except me in the restaurant, the irony!!!) and leaves, all he can think about is looking at his phone and probably going home, he walks in circles in the restaurant, no sympathy, not a kind word, no sense of business. Hatred of white people perhaps? -> He never comes back to ask me what I want for a drink, ever again! It's only when my frugal dish arrives (too bad, I was hungry, without going so far as to count the price of the dough like the rather vulgar lady in one of the comments...), reheated on 4th speed, that I order a drink (I immediately regretted it). I probably wanted a non-alcoholic cocktail at the time and it's also a bit as if I felt obliged to have a drink because of the embarrassment of seeing that he is disinterested or even shows himself derogatory, if he realizes that he will not spend too much. A strong feeling. So it was a bit like a pressure that I applied to myself, probably out of fear that he would then do things that weren't very healthy if I didn't act cool and didn't act nice (because at this point, I still wanted to have dessert so just in case…). -> There were missing ingredients in this non-alcoholic cocktail prepared in 10 seconds tops - it's a scam :( -> Already, the aperitif, even without alcohol, is brought before the main course except that suddenly, no offer to bring my main course while waiting when he saw that finally I was having a non-alcoholic cocktail, in a big hurry, he wanted me to gets on everything at the same time. We are numbers, no sense of service, impossible to get a smile out of them. It doesn't give a good image of Pakistanis. -> Finally, I tasted the cocktail at the same time but I finished the dish before and this cocktail served as dessert because he never came to offer me dessert even when he realized that my cocktail was empty!!! This gentleman is really jaded and it’s all or nothing with him. -> I let a little time pass to test a little, because he didn't see me move, just waited for him, he never reacted, as if he was doing it on purpose... He who only had me to worry about busy, never came to bring me the card or to ask me if everything was okay. I was the one who had to call him after a while to ask if I could pay the bill. A hell of a lot of money to keep you hungry. I should have just grabbed one dish and run away :) (after paying of course, I'm not like those low-end scum and rednecks who do sneaker restaurants, plus, I wasn't wearing sneakers !). Apart from the deplorable service, we see that it is not homemade, but no obligation if they have not specified the mention, average and expensive cuisine for what it is but that helps. You can't really call it an Italian restaurant though.

Wir sind hier im Viertel des Märkischen Museums auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant für unseren ersten Abend in Berlin gewesen und stießen beim Spaziergang auf das Restaurant Verona. Alles stimmte hier, ein Gläschen sehr angenehmer Montepulciano, ein Gruß aus der Küche mit Oliven und leckerem Brot, das Essen was wir wählten, war sehr ansprechend angerichtet und lecker. Antipasti Grillgemüse und Bruschetta sowie Spagetti mit Garnelen und einen Salat mit Lachsfilet, alles war sehr fein, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Ambiente großzügig. Viel Platz zwischen den Tischen. Wir kommen wieder!
