A very nice restaurant with delicious dishes and truly attentive and friendly service.

The food and service were perfect, however the restaurant was very crowded and therefore the noise level was correspondingly high.

Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the cappuccino was perfect! The service was friendly, easygoing, and uncomplicated. We felt completely at ease!

Yesterday, I was at Veritas with a group of 10 people as part of a dinner invitation. The food was fantastic; besides a delicious Mediterranean appetizer mix, I had calamari with rosemary potatoes and vegetables, which were simply superb. The service was quick, very friendly, and attentive to the guests, and everything was done efficiently. The ambiance is stylish and harmonious. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's a lovely place to enjoy a meal in both winter and summer. A big thank you to the two friendly and competent ladies and the very nice young man who served us and made our evening so enjoyable.

Having been a frequent guest at the Veritas Restaurant for years, I would like to express my gratitude on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the company, which Veritas is currently celebrating. I enjoy not only the delicious German/Mediterranean dishes, which are freshly prepared daily and change seasonally, but also the cozy atmosphere and cleanliness of this restaurant. Special thanks go to the service staff, who, even in stressful times, never lose their warmth and friendliness towards their guests. Finally, I wish the Lojic family all the best and thank you again for your outstanding service, which is not to be taken for granted at this level of the restaurant industry.

We arrived the day before the company holidays, hadn't made a reservation, and it was fully booked. But they gave us a table for two after all – great. Very friendly staff, absolutely dog-friendly. The food was very good, as was the value for money. What I didn't like so much – it was incredibly loud. Hence the star deduction.

We celebrated our wedding at Veritas at the end of May. From the pre-arrangement, the excellent service, and the fantastic food, everything was just perfect for us. Dear Veritas team, thank you so much for letting us spend such a wonderful day with you.

We were there for lunch. The food was very good, and the service was very friendly and equally good. It was just a shame that after the excellent meal, around 2:30 p.m., it wasn't possible to order dessert or an espresso. The kitchen was closed, and the espresso machine—to paraphrase Willy Astor—had already been cleaned.

We found a spot in front of the restaurant while passing through in our RV. Great food, very friendly and attentive service. A very nice outdoor ambiance. Highly recommended.

I used to really appreciate the restaurant because the service was always friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, things have gotten significantly worse recently. The new staff are now very poor in the evening - orders take a long time to be taken and the attentiveness of the staff leaves much to be desired. This significantly spoiled my visit. The old staff had it much better under control. The food isn't even what it used to be.

The food was well prepared and tasted great. Of course the price is higher because of the ambience etc. But the service should still be worked on, it doesn't fit. Then it would be 4 stars

I found the food reactively tasteless. I asked for salt and pepper, but unfortunately that didn't come. The service staff didn't seem particularly committed or friendly. So better go somewhere else!

Beautiful, calm and delicious. Good price performance. Unfortunately there was a little too little sauce on the duck and what was left on the pasta was watered down by the pasta water. But the sauce itself is very tasty.

The Veritas is an absolute must! The kitchen impresses with its outstanding quality and lovingly prepared dishes that are a real highlight not only in terms of taste but also visually. What is particularly impressive is the careful selection of wines, which are perfectly matched to the food and round off the taste experience. Very nice location. In summer you can also sit outside. Food is delicious. They also have changing dishes on a blackboard. The service was attentive and very friendly. When my food was late, I was given a free salad and a shot as an apology.

A solid restaurant with good food! The atmosphere there was a bit uncomfortable for me because when I walked in, half of the people in the restaurant literally stared at me. I have red hair and I assume that was the reason. Unfortunately, the clientele is almost snooty and exclusive due to the higher prices and the more chic style. The nice staff can't do anything about that! I also find it misleading that exactly one vegetarian dish is listed on the menu under “Pasta and Vegetarian”. This could be improved significantly! Pasta in particular is so easy to offer vegetarian or even vegan.

The food was very tasty and attractively decorated. The menu is manageable and you can taste that everything has been freshly prepared. There was also a day ticket. We can highly recommend the veal cheeks with fried potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables. We were also surprised with a delicious greeting from the kitchen. The ambience was clean and pleasant. The service was friendly and accommodating, responded to our wishes, only the arrangement/organization could still be improved. E.g. They wanted to take our order twice, when the finished dishes came from the kitchen it wasn't always clear which tables they were ordered at and in our group of 4 people, 1 person got their food 10 minutes before the other 3 got it. But all in all we had a lovely evening and would come back and recommend Veritas.

As a DJ, I was able to provide musical accompaniment to a celebration at the Veritas Restaurant in Ettlingen and I was thrilled! The food was excellent – ​​tasteful and perfectly prepared. The service was friendly, attentive and supported the evening wonderfully. The atmosphere at Veritas is modern and inviting – perfect for events. Professionally managed house. Service and food of very good quality. Ambience good. We found it restless and a bit noisy inside. Despite reservations (and tables still available), they initially wanted to give us a table right at the entrance and counter. Probably because of the expression on my face, they reacted immediately and assigned us a free table in the middle of the room. Food and drinks were without exception of good quality. The service was friendly and always there when a request arose. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality. We will come again.

The two of us were there today, at lunchtime, and made a reservation. Service was always on point. Asked several times if you had reserved, then asked again if you had chosen, but still didn't get a card. There were no cushions for the chairs outside. Then we got a table inside, which was nice. Service otherwise quick and professional. Food was a big portion for the money, lots of shrimp. Very good, but not overwhelming. Espresso 3 euros is too expensive Four stars is ok. Would recommend it and come again

I am writing this review because something happened during the visit with a group of work colleagues (approx. 14 people) that is unacceptable. First of all, the friendliness of the service staff left a lot to be desired right from the start. We were given bread with a spread at the front, which was placed on the table without a word by the male waitress. After a few minutes it turns out that the spread consisted of, among other things, tuna. In any case, a colleague who is on a vegetarian diet had already eaten it. She then complained to the service staff. No matter what or how she said it…. The service manager immediately came to me and vented her anger, which prompted my colleague to complain. The colleague would have mentioned what was in the spread. Since the whole situation made me so uncomfortable, I accepted her point of view with a nod. However, the fact is that I am also a vegetarian and why would I or my colleague even resort to the spread if my colleague had mentioned what kind it was. For the rest of the evening, our entire group got the bad vibes from the service towards our group. There were colleagues from all over Europe and I was completely ashamed of the way we were treated. The crowning conclusion was that we were asked to leave at 9:45 p.m. because they wanted to close the restaurant. (Although it says online that the restaurant closes at midnight) Not recommendable.

Overall ok. No more and no less. Four of us were there for the 3-course menu. It definitely won't be our regular place. The ambience is ultimately a matter of taste.

Starters was great, main course was okay. Staff was terrible, probably my bad luck or their bad luck that they have lost their customers. None of us at the table (15 people) would go there again.. Primarily because the staff focused so much that they did everything perfectly right.. that they didn't even bother to listen or agree to the problem. Worse : service lady walked by and passed on again nasty comment on us( supposedly their customers) at that moment.... Had it not been with my colleagues, i would have asked her to spell "customer service". Hope it was a one-off and no one else goes through the same experience..

Die Top Anschrift für mediterane Küche in Ettlingen. Alle Speisen sind super lecker und frisch. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Ich kann das Veritas uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Unbedingt Tisch reservieren sonst kann sein man bekommt keinen Platz.

Varied, reasonably priced menu. Something else. The Iberico cutlet with gnocchi and vegetables was very good. Unfortunately, the appetizer platter had a lot of olives and everything with too much oil. The beer garden is a dream, very shady and not cramped table to table like elsewhere. Service friendly, but a bit chaotic. For example, all dishes were not served according to the table but according to the type of meal. So first pasta for the whole place, then rabbit, etc.

I was at a family celebration with around 60 visitors. After renovation, the restaurant is very pleasant and friendly. The delicious food: starters, main menu and dessert was in the form of a buffet. Staff was very friendly and served drinks and later at the buffet. A band was playing that was commissioned by the birthday child. The whole atmosphere was great. I always enjoy going out to the beer garden in the summer :-)

We celebrated confirmation here, 14 people, while another group of around 30 people was there at the same time. We were looked after perfectly, the food and drinks were excellent, the service was friendly, very on the ball and very unobtrusive but always available. Individual requests (e.g. vegetarians) were gladly accommodated. The previous menu discussion and planning of the event was professional and uncomplicated. Perfect location for a family celebration, highly recommended.

From the reservation to the payment everything was great. Very attentive staff, a varied and not too large menu (positive), some great daily specials and very good cuisine. We'd love to come back.

Ambience nice. Service okay but room for improvement, they wanted to take the drink order, we weren't ready yet. After that no one came anymore, we had to call to order. I had a starter plate, well, it wasn't value for money at all. A huge portion of arugula at least made the plate look full. If I had wanted that much salad, I would have ordered one. Rabbit with Dijon mustard sauce and Mediterranean vegetables... rabbit dry without end, sauce without a hint of Dijon, the Mediterranean vegetables consisted of 90% peppers. Everything is carelessly unseasoned. What was also “funny” was that the food wasn't served to the table in one go, but first all the pasta veritas went out for the entire restaurant, then the same thing with the rabbit, then the beef fillet. Of course, the first thing served is only lukewarm by the time everyone at the table has been served. Espresso with a scoop of ice cream, I ordered vanilla. At €2 for this ball, it should be a little bigger than a table tennis ball, and the many ice crystals in it weren't really tasty either. Shortly before 9 p.m. we all wanted another round of espresso. Unfortunately it doesn't work, the machine is currently being cleaned. No, it doesn't have to happen again.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was right. There is still room for improvement when it comes to service. Guests prefer to be asked if they would like something more to drink rather than asking themselves if they would like something else.

I've been there again for years and it was very good again. The ambience is very nice. The tables are not too close together. Decoration and furnishings create a beautiful overall concept. Reservation is absolutely necessary. The service was great, very friendly and considerate. No long waiting times.

Nice restaurant where we had a quiet and pleasant meal. The food was pretty good and my steak was cooked as I like it. It's not a pizza and pasta restaurant, but the selection was good and well presented/cooked. The atmosphere was good, it's a fairly open space and the tables are not too close to each other which allows for pleasant conversation to take place. The 10 minutes walk from the town centre was also really nice before and then after our meal, it seemed just about the right length. I'm not sure what parking is like, as we walked. The area seemed quiet. I'd say if you want she fairly nice food and fancy a short walk from town, this is a good choice.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 16 Personen dort. Besonders herauszuheben war wirklich der Service. Hochprofessionell, schnell, alles auf den Punkt genau. Das Essen war auch sehr gut und für den Preis genau richtig. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre.

Wir haben nur etwas getrunken. Mein Geschmack ist das Ambiente nicht. Bedienung war freundlich.

War dieses Jahr zum zweiten Mal bei einer Feier mit Familie und Freunden (ca.30 Personen) in dem Restaurant. Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm an Tischen mit 8 bis 12 Personen. Serviert wurden mediterrane Vorspeisen auf Platten für je 4 Personen mit Gambas, Grillgemüse, Melone etc.. Im Hauptgang wurde zur Auswahl Steak, Fisch und Vegetarisches angeboten, kombiniert mit geschmackvollen Beilagen und besonders stilvoll angerichtet. Auch das Dessert mit einer Variation von Köstlichkeiten erfüllte voll die Erwartungen der Gäste. Mit den guten Weinen und dem aufmerksamen Service wiederum ein sehr angenehmes Fest. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Sehr beeindruckend sind die Gerichte, der Wein ist vorzüglich. Sehr angehme Atmosphäre Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Vom Service und Kundenpflege sind wir sehr enttäuscht. Angeblich soll es Mittagstisch von 12.00-14.00h geben. Als wir um 13.55h ankamen wurden wir schroff abgewiesen. Empfehlung: Bestellungen für warme Küche wird nur bis 13.00h angenommen.Das war's dann mit Veritas.

The food was ok, and the location is nice. But the service and the fact that the waitress and the kitchen wouldn’t accept that my dish had sesame in it (I’m allergic) and boasting how good they are at allergies was unacceptable. After they brought the bag of seaweed (who puts Asian seaweed in an Italian Risotto in the first place) and saw that it actually had sesame inside, they didn’t really excuse themselves.

Da wusste ich, dass wird nicht der letzte Besuch sein. Diese Woche zu Zweit wieder dort gewesen. Vorsp: Burrata „Caprese“ Hauptspeise.: Linguine in Lim. Soße. Nachsp.: Leider schon satt gewesen da ich den Gruß der Küche alleine essen musste 😉😁👍. Parkplatz direkt am Restaurant oder genügend in diesem Areal rundum, ca. 300 Meter, vorhanden. Top 👍

Sehr leckeres Essen, es gibt immer vegetarische Optionen. Die Kellner sind sehr zuvorkommend und die Wartezeit zum Essen ist auch relativ gering. Die Preise entsprechen einer höheren Preisklasse.

Service war perfekt und das Weinangebot war sehr gut. Nun leider das Essen, wir hatten ein 55€ Menü. Bei der Vorspeise, mediterraner Teller, war die Qualität gut, die Menge unterirdisch gering. Wir saßen zu 16 am Tisch, es gab 2 Teller in die Mitte die geschätzt jeweils 5 Scheiben Schinken, 3 Gambas, etwas gegrilltes Gemüse, Tomaten und in der Mitte Rukola aufwiesen, das war eher jeweils für maximal 3 Personen. Wir waren 18 Uhr da, 22 Uhr gab es angeblich Gegrilltes vom Holzkohlengrill draußen. Lange Schlange... am Buffet Rosmarin Kartoffeln (gut), Reis (eklig pappig), Gemüse (blanchiert ungewürzt, keine Kräuter) , Hühnchen in Soße schwimmend (nicht Grill, )gab es genug. Fisch in Kleinstportionen zugeteilt und das aus der Küche nachgelieferte Rindfleisch dünn, durchgebraten, fest, ungewürzt wurde auch in zwei Teile geteilt aber man konnte auch auf ein Ganzes bestehen. Dessert stand dann in kleinen Gläschen rum. Würde mal sagen, Chance vertan auf neue regionale einigermaßen zahlungskräftige Kundschaft.

Ich war mit einem Freund abendessen. Ambiente, Essen und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top. Ich würde sehr gerne 5 Sterne geben, weil die zwei Kellnerinnen auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend waren. Leider kann ich das vom Kellner an diesem Abend garnicht behaupten. In der Suppe meines Freundes war eine Fliege. Kann passieren. Er hätte sich einfach entschuldigen können, einen neue Suppe bringen und alles wäre gut gewesen. Leider kam es nicht so. Nachdem wir es reklamierten war er äusserst unfreundlich. Er hat sich nicht nur nicht entschuldigt, sondern uns auch noch ernsthaft vorgeworfen, dass die Fliege erst ins Essen geflogen wäre, nachdem wir es bekommen haben. Nachdem wir ihn darauf hingewiesen haben, dass dem nicht so war, (weil die Fliege unten in der Suppe drin war) nahm er die Suppe extrem genervt zurück und brachte sehr schnippisch eine neue. Interessanter Weise war er zu den Gästen am Nebentisch (welche etwas älter und vermutlich wohlhabender waren) extrem freundlich und sobald wir nach etwas gefragt haben, wie z.B. Salz und Pfeffer wurde dieses ohne Bitte ohne Danke von ihm gebracht und uns wurde allgemein ein sehr unangenehmes Gefühl von ihm vermittelt. Also anstatt sich zu entschuldigen, hat er mir noch vor dem Hauptgang mehr oder weniger den Appetit verdorben. Und das nicht wegen der Fliege. Ansonsten war das Essen sehr lecker und wie gesagt die anderen zwei Kellnerinnen waren die ganze Zeit sehr freundlich. Am Ende hat sich wenigstens seine Kollegin für die unangenehmen Umstände entschuldigt und wir mussten die Suppe nicht bezahlen. Ich werde gerne wiederkommen, hoffe aber dass ich nie wieder so behandelt werde. Anderenfalls werde ich das Veritas künftig meiden.

Wir waren mit 10 Personen zu Gast, hatten reserviert. Das Essen war sehr gut, Service etwas langsam, zwei bestellte Desserts wurden nicht serviert, da es kurz vor 21.30 war.... Zudem wurden wir höflich gebeten spätestens um 23 Uhr die Lokalität zu verlassen obwohl bis 24 Uhr geöffnet ist.... Wenn wir die Stunde länger bleiben wollten hätten wir 200 € Nachtzuschlag zahlen sollen....Wo gibt es denn sowas....Diesen Stundenlohn hätte ich auch gerne. Hier überlege ich mir nochmals die Lokalität zu besuchen.

Sehr schön zum draußen sitzen. Sehr schneller und aufmerksamer Service. Preise etwas gehoben. Kleine aber feine Speisekarte. Die gegrillten Calamari konnten leider nicht überzeugen. Wirkten nicht wirklich gegrillt, sondern eher gebraten oder gebacken und hatten eine Art öliger Panade. Der gemischte Vorspeisenteller und die Gemüsebeilage waren sehr gut.

Sehr leckere Speisen, freundlicher Service, schöne Atmosphäre, wenn man draußen unter den Bäumen sitzen kann und ins Grüne schaut, große Auswahl an Weinen und Desserts, perfekter Abend
