Very tasty pizzas with good topping options, service was always spot on and the decor is nice and calm. If we were from Wiesbaden that would be our native Italian :)

Service and ambience was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We paid €66 for two people, which isn't exactly cheap But the pizzas were very tasty! 1 star deducted because it's not that easy to tell which pizzas are vegetarian. This resulted in us only identifying two vegetarian pizzas as such.

Such a great experience at Verace in Wiesbaden! The pizza was one of the best I ever had, the wine is very high quality, and the staff are super friendly and amazing, they spoke German, Italian and English. I highly recommend it to anyone who visits Wiesbaden and wants to have a nice dinner!

Nice atmosphere, nice staff. But a pizza for over €20 is completely excessive. Unfortunately, the quality of the pizza didn't justify the price either. My bresaola pizza consisted of cheese and 6 slices of dry and tough ham slices. Unfortunately disappointing and definitely not worth repeating, what a shame! Update: I am revising the comment with “nice staff” - see the restaurant's comment - friendly!

Today we were reminded again why we only ever order take-out. Called and made a reservation and asked us not to sit at the door because we were coming with a small child and there was a pull on the door. When we arrived we were given a tush right at the door. Despite repeated requests and comments that we had specifically communicated this on the phone, unfortunately there was no insight, but rather a lady who was happy to discuss. We left again. Sorry not sorry

Inconspicuous shop but very, very good stone oven pizza.

We were there on a normal evening and had reserved. We weren't greeted warmly, the owner complained that umbrellas weren't allowed in. The evening was over because people talked to the guests in a tone that made them feel tired. In front of the door, red carpet, full of dog shit. Then the food, pizza with cheap truffles from the supermarket. The starter was not edible so we left it alone. Pizza not baked properly, but partly happy. Unfortunately, lettuce leaves are also past their expiration date. Drinks weren't drinkable (they only tasted like alcohol) and we left them alone. Unfortunately, the service was very unfriendly and of course there was no tip, but a decent bill - at least something. The boss seemed to be checking his bills at the counter in front of the guests, which was just strange because every bill was commented on and discussed loudly in the restaurant. The waitress changed from time to time, probably the family. Conclusion: overpriced, unfriendly and bad food.

Total disappointment! Overpriced starters! I'm so sorry! This Pizzeria was my favorite outside of Naples. But today the Pizza is a disappointment. Without a crust, sausage that tastes like frankfurters, tasteless dough and a malformed pizza. If they don't return to the quality of a few months ago I won't return either. It's a shame to throw decades of work in the dustbin. I feel sorry for the manager. Good luck!

All in all a great, authentic restaurant. The pizza is tasty but not outstanding. However, it came within 5 minutes of ordering. The service was a little sleepy and slow. The ambience has style and is very authentic.

Nice atmosphere with a typical Italian flair, with loving decoration and appropriate music in the background. You feel a bit like you're in a small restaurant in Italy. The fresh ingredients used here are particularly impressive - the ham is even cut right in front of the guests! The pizza is large, incredibly tasty and definitely worth the price. However, on weekends it is advisable to reserve in advance as it can get quite busy, which makes the owner a little overconfident in the quality of his pizza.

There is no restaurant in the Käserstube. The apartments have kitchens with dishwashers. Fresh rolls can be ordered for breakfast in the evening and are available in the room compartment in the morning. In the afternoon there is free espresso and cappuccino at the coffee bar in the foyer.

Even after the second visit I'm not convinced: pizzas look good, taste is very poor, almost unseasoned, the cheese dominates. There's no comparison to Tuttifrutti, where the pizza prices are similar, but the wine is better and cheaper. I've never been disappointed there. At least the interior is original and packed with a mainly young audience despite the high prices. It also takes a long time to pay because the boss would rather chat with friends than help out. As you can see in other lower reviews, the boss reacts grumpily and insulted, and a certain arrogance also comes through in personal contact. It wouldn't work like that in Italy. Update: voilà, arrogant answer came 8 minutes after posting 🤣

A great Italian restaurant. The food and ambience felt like a real Italian vacation.

It's not worth the price and the staff was rude.

We made a reservation one hour prior for a seat, for two outside. When we arrived we were met with a full Terrasse. The waiter came out and told us there is not space, no sorry no nothing. He then first said that since we made the reservation on short notice. We then said yes but you took the reservation, you could have just said no there are no capacities. Then is argument was that we didn’t say we wanted to be outside. We didn’t said we did say that explicitly. The chef came then and was also rude. Only when we spoke Italian they showed so understanding. We decided to stay. The pizza was good but when we asked for the rest to take away they just slammed half a pizza together and wrapped it in tint foil. On top of that we ordered one whole pizza to go, while our drinks were still full they brought the pizza and on top of the packaging the bill and the machine to pay, SO DISRESPECTFUL!!! Despite the pizza being tasty the service and therefore general atmosphere is just not worth it!

I'm angry and sad about the bad reviews. After the first bite into the Bruscetta Melanzane e Funghetto. My goodness, it's like southern Italy. And that in Germany. Food really great. Anyone who is upset about the prices shouldn't go out to eat in the state capital, renting in Wiesbaden is certainly not free. The people work hard and offer a top product and ambience. Truly authentic Neapolitan cuisine and Italian atmosphere. Every detail in the design and every ingredient in the food is just right. Be sure to make a reservation - in typical Italian fashion, there is usually a bit of hectic activity here and every seat is taken!

Of course we only ate pizza because it's good. There was a Neapolitan pizza and it is always delicious. The wine was good I can recommend it.

We went to Verace yesterday on a recommendation. It was my first visit and I have to say I was a bit surprised by the overall structure. The waitress was very interested and tried hard right up to the time we ordered the food, took our requests into account and gave them our order. It's all a bit loose and flippant, so sometimes one or two glasses break when pouring, but okay, that's probably the etiquette that might be well received by other generations. However, since the selection or combination of ingredients chosen by the restaurant for the pizzas is not to everyone's taste, it is inevitable that guests like us will deselect or add ingredients. This is usually offset against the total bill. When it comes to eating, it can be said that the pizzas we ordered were larger but unfortunately also had a thick crust. This is a matter of taste, so I don't want to see it as a disadvantage. Unfortunately, in some places they were dark black and burnt. It may be that this turns out very differently, but unfortunately it didn't taste that good to me. The pizzas themselves were very modestly topped, which is not what you would expect given prices between €14.50 and €18.50. The dough base on the outside was quite tasty, at least in the areas that weren't burnt, but unfortunately it was very flaky and soggy in the middle. When it came to paying, the negative highlight from my point of view came, which led me to ask myself whether Verace needed it, given the above-mentioned food prices, which were certainly already high, for an additional mushroom (it was nothing more) To charge €2.50. Even if there are certainly still differences of opinion about this, at least in our second change (ordering just a little onion instead of the artichokes and olives included in the price) I wouldn't have expected, with the best will in the world, to pay an additional charge of €1.50 for this to have to. However you look at it, I know it was my first and last visit to this restaurant, luckily there are other Italian restaurants with reasonable price/performance ratio in Wiesbaden.

Best pizza and best bruschetta I've had in this country so far. Almost all of the ingredients are from Italy. The ambience, food and staff were very good, friendly and authentic. You felt like you were in Italy!

The Neapolitan pizza and the Amblente are a dream.

The rating has nothing to do with the quality of the food, the food was good. Unfortunately we were insulted in a racist and very rude manner by the owner. You can't even move the chair to the other side of the table. By the way, it was in the evening and the restaurant was almost empty. Not only have we lost as customers, family and friends will no longer visit the restaurant. Really a shame!

Small original Italian restaurant in the heart of Wiesbaden! As in Italy, the flair, the food and the service were all unique, especially the pizza from the daily special with truffles was to die for...great wine selection and excellent dolci! I can only recommend it to everyone!!!

Fantastic pizzas. Be careful: these are not 10 euro cardboard box fillers - yes, you definitely pay above average for a pizza here. But (!) what you get tastes great, looks wonderful and is served in a friendly manner. Then it's better to do it externally less often - but then as fantastic as here.

I shared a 4 cheese pizza with my friend and had to pay €4 extra for it. The pizza definitely tasted very good but seemed quite small for the price (€22). Tiramisu also tasted good but 7€!! is already expensive. Overall it's a good restaurant in terms of taste but the prices are way too high for me.

Good pizza, priced a little higher, but good quality and no molded ham

After reading the reviews I was already prepared for the service. We ordered food and drinks and everything seemed fine, especially when eating there with children. Typical, to-the-point service. We ate and drank our fair share. Unfortunately the children had to go to the toilet and a large piece of glass fell down. I'm so thankful the kids weren't hurt, but the staff immediately started yelling. They never asked if anyone was hurt or if anyone was OK. I happened to have a cut on my ankle from the glass. They didn't care, they were just worried if we could pay for the glass. When the kids finished using the bathroom, it was so embarrassing that they started screaming around the restaurant. They asked if we were in Africa and that this was Germany. We were with friends from the USA, not Africa. They demanded that we pay for the glass or they would call the police. They still didn't ask if anyone was hurt. While my ankle was bleeding and my child was so scared. I have never been so humiliated in my entire life. I really hope they show some compassion. This is such a shame for German culture. Seriously, if you own a business you need to learn how to handle customer service. What a waste of German tax money and time to call the police and have to wait at least 20 minutes with children until the police come and explain your story. There were several glasses in the bathroom and it couldn't have been just any special glass or it wouldn't have been on the floor. Learn compassion, ask if the children are OK, don't be embarrassed, and don't yell. And most importantly: let's not be racist!!!

We had made a reservation for 6 people on Monday evening and even called again on the Saturday before because there were 2 more people, which wasn't a problem. They specifically asked for my cell phone number, which I gave on the phone. When we arrived on Monday evening there were 8 people standing in front of a closed restaurant. Unfortunately no one informed us, which was a shame as it was a special occasion and some guests arrived by train that took over an hour. It's a shame, we were really happy. Update: After a very nice exchange with Riccardo, we found out that there was an error when an employee wrote down the cell phone number and therefore we could not be reached. We look forward to a second, successful visit. After our return visit we were warmly welcomed. The pizza was delicious and the service was very courteous and quick. We will come back in any case! Very nice and authentic Italian restaurant. The staff was really very friendly and clearly had fun at work. They were also able to give us excellent recommendations. The pizzas were really delicious. We were even able to see our pizzas being freshly prepared in the stone oven. The pistachio tiramisu was also extremely good. It was a pleasure!

Ein außergewöhnlicher Ort! Schön dekoriert und eingedeckt, erinnert an traditionelle italienische Tavernen. Die Speisekarte ist zwar übersichtlich, aber bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Wir hatten das Vitello Tonato, das Rindertartar und die Meeresfrüchte zusammen mit zweierlei frischem Pizzabrot als Vorspeise. Alles schmeckte sehr köstlich. Wir hatten verschiede Pizzas, die alle sehr einzigartig waren. Die Größen sind einheitlich (groß) und Geschmacklich waren alle sehr gut. Wir waren begeistert von der Weinauswahl! Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We pre-booked a table with a group of several people. First, various absolutely delicious starters were served. The focus here for the main courses is on pizza in different variations. These were richly topped and very tasty. The staff was also very attentive and nice.

Leider kann ich nur 2 Sterne geben. Ambiente sehr schön. Bedienungen überwiegend sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten, Bruschetta 1 x Pizza und 1 mal den Salat mit Meeresfrüchten. 1. Bruschetta Top. 2. Pizza war gut, aber hat mich nicht umgehauen. Von einer echten italienischen Pizza, Teig und Geschmack weit entfernt. 3. Salat mit Meeresfrüchten muss ich leider kritisieren. Meine Freundin hatte danach Bauchschmerzen und Durchfall. Ausserdem hat sie ca 4 Std nach dem Verzehr, immer noch aufstoßen müssen und der Geschmack des Essens kam hoch.. Das darf niemals passieren.. Leider.. 4. Das Brot was zum essen gereicht wird, hat natürlich mit Italien gar nichts zu tun. Auf Rückfrage, wurde mir gesagt, italienisches Brot wäre zu teuer und Brot selber machen, zu Zeit aufwendig. Soviel zum Thema " VERACE" 5. Preis Leistung, finde ich nicht so toll. 7 € für die Bruschetta und zwischen 15 und 18 Euro für 1 x Pizza passt leider nicht. Im Großen und ganzen OK, aber leider nicht so gut, wie in der Webseite beschrieben.

Ein wundervolles italienisches Restaurant mitten im Herzen von Wiesbaden! Wir waren gestern mit einer etwas größeren Gruppe dort und sehr begeistert. Frische, typisch italienische Vorspeisen mit guten Zutaten, charmanter Service mit Humor und italienischem Ambiente runden den Abend ab. Leckere Pizzen aus einem 400° Ofen, toll! Interessante Pizzeria mit außergewöhnlichen zusammenstellungen der Pizzen. Geschmacklich mal was ganz anderes. Ambiente ganz nett. Reservierung wird empfohlen. Unsere Pizzen waren teilweise kalt. Schinken wird mitten im Restaurant frisch geschnitten. Leider keine Kinderkarte oder Nudeln. Hätten deutlich mehr getrunken, aber zu wenig Bedienungen. Alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter allerdings sehr freundlich. Wer es ausgefallen mag und in der Stadt ist, einfach mal ausprobieren ... Preis/Leistung passt. Pizzen sind sehr groß...

Antipasti und Pizza waren sehr gut, Getränkeauswahl ebenfalls ok. Wir wurden zügig bedient und sind satt gegangen. Alles so, wie es sein soll.

Die Pizza schmeckt gut, aber nicht so gut, dass ich das Restaurant unbedingt empfehlen werde. Ich habe die Regina Margherita bestellt. Laut Speisekarte hätte darauf eine Mozarellakugel sein sollen. Die habe ich jedoch vermisst. Ärgerlich, weil die Pizza 15,50 Euro gekostet hat. Die Pizza hat zwar gut gesättigt, aber ich hätte sicherlich noch mehr essen können. Das Bier war lecker, aber mit 4,50€ für 33cl ebenfalls teuer. Eher unbefriedigend.

Das Ambiente ist schön, aber man hat das Gefühl man sitzt mit anderen Gästen an einem Tisch, da es sehr eng ist. Die Pizzen sind geschmacklich gut, aber wir hatten das Pech, dass diese etwas verbrannt waren.

Ich wohne in Wiesbaden und war schon ein paar Mal dort. Fantastische Pizza! Beste Zutaten, puristisch oder kreativ belegt. Nettes Personal, drinnen ist es gemütlich, draußen ist es ein bisschen wie street food deluxe.

Ich war am Samstag, den 16.09.2023 in diesem Lokal. Da im Außenbereich (es war wunderschönes Wetter) die Tische entweder belegt waren oder Reserviert (mit RESERVIERT Karte) waren, haben wir beschlossen, uns in den Innenraum zu setzen. Wir wollten beide Essen bestellen, als eine 3 -köpfige Familie hereinkam. Der Besitzer/Kellner schaute sich um und meinte auf einmal plötzlich, dass unser Tisch auf einmal reserviert wäre, obwohl keine RESERVIERT Karte auf dem Tisch stand. Wir sollten doch aufstehen, weil der Tisch für diese Familie reserviert wäre - diese waren jedoch augenscheinlich mit dem Kellner bekannt. Wir mussten leider aufstehen, da man uns nicht mehr bedienen wollte. Eine Alternative hat man uns auch nicht angeboten. Wenn man die Kellner in diesem Lokal nicht kennt, ist man dort nicht erwünscht. Ich werde nie wieder in diese Pizzeria gehen und werde dies auch meinen Freunden auf keinen Fall empfehlen. Dann gehe ich doch lieber wieder ins Ristorante Comeback in der Goldgasse. Nette Kellner mit besten Service und Superessen.

Original italienische Pizza und Attitüde. Sehr authentisch und lecker. Die Büffelmozzarella-Pizza gibt es ab 16€, was in meinen Augen für eine solche Pizza ein gutes Maß ist.

Wir haben letzte Woche für heute 12.06.23 einen Tisch für 20:00 draußen reserviert. Als wir um kurz vor 20:00 das Lokal betraten, hat man uns gebeten an der Theke Platz zu nehmen, da der Tisch noch nicht frei war. Kein Problem wir sind ja auch zu früh und nehmen erst mal einen Aperitif. Die Zeit vergeht und der Hunger meldet sich, also um 20:30 nachgefragt, was denn mit dem reservierten Tisch ist. Als Antwort kam dann - die Leute gehen nicht und rausschmeißen könnte man sie nicht. Frage - wozu benötige ich denn dann eine Reservierung und das man diesbezüglich selber nachfragen muss, ist schon verwunderlich. Wenn Leute an einem Tisch Platz nehmen, kann man darauf hinweisen, dass der Tisch ab einer bestimmten Uhrzeit reserviert ist. So kennen wir das zumindest. Um 21:00, dies war auch unser Zeitlimit, war dann ein Tisch frei. Wir wollten uns die Laune nicht verderben lassen, daher schnell eine Vorspeise und Hauptgericht bestellt sowie Wein und Wasser. Kurz nach der Bestellung kam dann die Meldung, die Vorspeise gibt es nicht mehr. Wir haben daraufhin etwas anderes bestellt. Das Essen war insoweit auch gut und der Wein auch. Kurz nach 22:00 haben wir dann bezahlt und die Bedienung meinte noch, dass der Chef wegen der Unannehmlichkeiten 1 oder 2 Wein auf Kosten des Hauses genommen hat. Als misstrauischer Mensch habe ich die Rechnung kontrolliert und musste feststellen, es fehlte nichts auf der Rechnung Zur Überraschung war sogar noch etwas auf der Rechnung, was wir gar nicht verzehrt hatten. Nach Reklamation erhielten wir diesen Aufschlag weitestgehend unkommentiert zurück. Auch wenn das Essen lecker ist, muss man sagen, das ganze Verhalten ist insgesamt eine Unverschämtheit. Wir wollen hier nicht von Vorsatz sprechen, aber dies war unser letzter Besuch in diesem Lokal und wir werden diese Empfehlung gerne im engeren und weiteren Bekanntenkreis weitergeben. Wir können nur jedem Besucher anraten, die Rechnung zu kontrollieren. Schade dass man versucht, auf diese billige Art Leute übers Ohr zu hauen.

Average pizza. Price vs value does not worth it. Leaving my review in another platform, owner came with a disgraceful response, which is unacceptable. The place could have been better considering the location, but it is managed by an incompetent and racist person, so never stepping my foot there again.

We sat down for some drinks and a starter then what appeared to be the owner or manager attempted to pressure us into ordering a main course. Uncomfortable, we decided to pay and leave. When the check was brought out we were given another order of drinks. When questioned the lady appeared to play dumb and state that her co-worker told her we wanted another round. Cucina popolare ist das Motto dieser von Italienern geführten Pizzeria und das stimmt. Man fühlt sich gleich wie in seinem Stammlokal in einer italienischen Kleinstadt. Großer Pizzaofen im Lokal, wo zwei original Pizzaoli wunderbare saftige und knusprige Pizzas backen. Teig und Belag sind super.

Ganz ehrlich, bestes Italienisches Restaurant in dem ich je war!! Ich habe durch Zufall den Laden entdeckt, es ist unglaublich lecker. (Pizza mit tollem Belag!!! ) Aber auch das Ambiente und die nette Bedienung machen es einen Besuch wert. Ich verstehe die negativen Kommentare absolut nicht und bin sehr zufrieden. Ausgesprochene Empfehlung!

Es fing gut an: sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Lokal , freundliche Bedienung. Die Pizza enttäuschte: zwar dünner, aber labberiger Boden, hingekleckster Belag, Tomatensoße war scharf ohne Hinweis darauf in der Karte.Der angekündigte Parmesankäse war nur in Spuren nachweisbar. Geschmack teils scharf, teils fad. Insgesamt eine Enttäuschung und klar überteuert. Also demnächst wieder Pizza to go aus dem Steinofen zum halben Preis und besser.

Cucina Popolare! Also bei Ricardo und seinem Biagio, ist es immer sensationell, eben echte italienische Gastfreundschaft! Ich bin gerne da und die Pizza und alles ist immer eine Wucht! Seit ich in Deutschland bin, habe ich hier eine richtige und leckere Pizza wie in Neapel gegessen. Das Personal (hauptsächlich Tanja, Antonio und Giuseppe), ist sehr freundlich, authentisch und sie lächeln immer. Man kann jedezeit diese schöne und einladende Atmosphäre fühlen. Sie sind das perfekte Beispiel wie man mit Gästen sein sollte. Meine Freundin und ich werden gerne so bald wie wie möglich wiederkommen.

Sehr überheblicher Chef, der meint er steht über jeden. Geht mit dem Gästen um als wären es seine Untertanen. Achtung bei Getränke wird ordentlich abgezockt. Man bekommt eine Dose mit Limonade auf dem Tisch gestellt, wie am Kiosk und es werden 4€ abgerechnet. Die Pizza ist Super aber dafür muss man sich ja vor dem Chef verbeugen. Anhand der Antworten die der Chef auf jede negative Bewertung abgibt. Kann man sich ja wenn man etwas intelligent ist ein Bild von der Persönlichkeit machen. Arogant und uneinsichtlich. Ja nicht entschuldigen. Aber die Rechnung kommt..... Immer weiter so.
