It was a great experience to be able to play as a wedding DJ at the Bergasthof Kellerskopf in Wiesbaden! The atmosphere was phenomenal, the ambience was modern, the service staff were extremely friendly, the bride and groom and the guests had a magical time with fabulous food and a fantastic party. We celebrated our wedding on the Kellerskopf at the beginning of August. The wedding was a complete success! From the preparation and planning to the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly, professionally and relaxed. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and always kept an eye on the schedule so that we could really enjoy our wedding. The food was fantastic, we were able to see this for ourselves in advance when we visited a restaurant and we weren't disappointed at the wedding either. An absolute HEART RECOMMENDATION! Our guests were also very satisfied with the starter and main course (choice of meat, fish or vegetarian). The location itself is also impressive and is perfect for a wedding, the observation tower and the wedding terrace were a great highlight. IN SHORT AND STRAIGHT an incredibly great WEDDING LOCATION. Tim & Nadja know their craft in culinary and events. * The only small comment I have is about the rooms that you can book for the wedding (4 rooms). Compared to a real hotel room in the same price category, you get more comfort and a feel-good atmosphere in the hotel. You could get a little more out of it in terms of design or adjust the price a little. BUT it is important to say that everything was very clean and the small breakfast the next day was great and sufficient. A cook even made egg dishes for us, which I thought was great. Thank you very much for the wonderful wedding with you!

There are only drinks if you eat food, strangely there are also people who want to drink a good and very expensive wine and then eat as they please, apparently not all welcome. We are a group of 5 to 8 men who like to hike on the weekend and then drink a beer or two, or a bottle of wine, etc., and often also order something to eat. We will avoid the restaurant even if we want to dine.

Despite the unfortunately shortened menu, very tasty dishes. Friendly service.

All right!!!! We celebrated our wedding at the mountain inn and Nadja and Tim arranged everything perfectly. From the preparation, to the decoration, to the food, to the service...everything was just right. So they gave us an unforgettable day, for which we have to thank you again.

Unfortunately, our most recent visit to the Kellerskopf restaurant in Naurod was not as satisfactory as we had hoped. Although the ambience of the restaurant was inviting and the staff friendly, the quality of the food left something to be desired. We opted for a veal burger, but it was disappointing. The meat was dry and bland, which significantly reduced the enjoyment. The fries that were served with it weren't any better either: they were cold and didn't seem to be freshly prepared. Overall, the dining experience did not meet our expectations. Given the disappointing quality of the food, we unfortunately cannot recommend the Kellerskopf restaurant. If you are looking for an enjoyable dinner, you should look elsewhere.

Unser jüngster Besuch im Restaurant Kellerskopf in Naurod war leider nicht so zufriedenstellend, wie wir es uns erhofft hatten. Das Ambiente des Restaurants war zwar einladend und das Personal freundlich, doch die Qualität der Speisen ließ zu wünschen übrig. Wir entschieden uns für einen Kalbsburger, der jedoch enttäuschend war. Das Fleisch war trocken und fade, was den Genuss erheblich minderte. Auch die Pommes, die dazu serviert wurden, waren nicht besser: Sie waren kalt und schienen nicht frisch zubereitet zu sein. Insgesamt entsprach das kulinarische Erlebnis nicht unseren Erwartungen. Angesichts der enttäuschenden Qualität der Speisen können wir das Restaurant Kellerskopf leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Wer auf der Suche nach einem genussvollen Abendessen ist, sollte sich lieber nach einer anderen Lokalität umsehen.

No suitable restaurant, no distant view In the past, you could drink a beer/eat wonderful cake there during a bike ride/hike and enjoy the distant view from the tower. Now: o Large notice that customers who just want a drink are not welcome. o No more cake. o The observation tower is closed, the key is not given out even upon request, from the restaurant itself you can only look into the trees. Therefore unsuitable for cyclists/hikers.

Unfortunately I cannot rate the food and service. I find it more than a shame that at a location in a hiking area it is undesirable for you to just have a drink in the beer garden to refresh yourself after a hike. On the one hand, once you've sat down you might want more, but on the other hand, restaurateurs earn above-average money from drinks. According to the notice, the observation tower is also permanently closed, which is also a shame.

Die Qualität, die hier geboten wird, ist durchweg konstant und beeindruckend – das Essen ist immer ein kulinarisches Highlight, die Präsentation ein wahrer Augenschmaus und der Service einfach erstklassig. Jeder Besuch wird zu einem tollen Gesamterlebnis, bei dem man sich rundum wohl und bestens betreut fühlt. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail und großer Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird, um den Gästen ein unvergessliches Erlebnis zu bieten. Were here for the Easter menu and are very satisfied: we really liked the creative combination of the vegetarian and the meat and fish variants, everything was perfectly prepared and tasted wonderfully in sufficient quantities, not too large, so that we felt full after enjoying it felt... everything was rounded off by attentive but not intrusive service... we were also very happy about the greeting from the kitchen with the delicious different types of bread - the location with sensational views does the rest to go home feeling absolutely comfortable....happily again...thank you very much😀

We had an all-round successful evening today in the Kellerskopf restaurant with a magnificent 5-course menu, where each course was a real pleasure in itself, which was also beautifully and decoratively presented. The quality was palpable and we also really liked the service. Thank you! We will be back!

Die Öffnungszeiten sind ideal, vor allem, dass man auch spät noch warmes Essen bekommen kann. Die vielfältige Speisekarte und die freundliche Bedienung machen jeden Besuch zu einem Genuss.

Das Servicepersonal ist immer aufmerksam und freundlich. Sie sorgen dafür, dass jeder Besuch zu einem besonderen Erlebnis wird.

We visited the restaurant because of the program my local your local. The first thing we noticed was the higher prices compared to the show: deer tartare – from €15 to €16, essence from €9.50 to €10, game duo from €32 to €34, Kaiserschmarrn from €10 to €11. But first things first: as a starter we had the aforementioned deer tartare - here, unlike in the show, the meat was not dressed at all: there was no trace of cucumbers, capers or onions, and there were no spices whatsoever. The essence, on the other hand, was very good, even if, despite the higher price, there were no more chanterelles on the plate and the beech mushrooms offered on the menu were missing. The game duo looked like it did in the show, but the amount of meat was significantly smaller, the flower sprouts were partly fried, partly blanched, and the cooking water watered down the jus, which was unfortunately in too small a quantity. The wild mushroom tortelloni also came straight from the water to the plate. In general, the dish lacked seasoning, the wild boar tasted drained, the deer medallions were tough, and the wild mushroom filling was tasteless. The Kaiserschmarren was okay. Without dessert we would have left hungry. Our conclusion - you don't meet your own requirements and the price-performance ratio is not right. We won't be coming back.

We went through my restaurant, your restaurant. The food was good but not special and unfortunately I wasn't full with two fish dishes.

Today we had dinner at the Berggasthof Kellerskopf for the first time. Very idyllic restaurant with a beautiful view of Wiesbaden. The evening was perfect. Cozy, modern atmosphere. Attentive and quick service. The food was very tasty and exactly as we imagined. ❤️ Only the surcharges for ketchup (+40 cents) or cranberries (+1.50 euros) were petty in our opinion. :) With a burger for €21 or a veal schnitzel for €26, this could easily be included. ;) We will definitely come back and can recommend everyone to be a guest here. 😊👍🏻

Visually, the food promised much more than it delivered and was okay. Rustic ambience from the 2nd half of the 20th century, sometimes trying to beautify it more badly than well. Toilets not recommended. Service may be expandable. The reference to a chipped glass was commented on with "that can happen sometimes", tea lights were replaced on several tables "for the evening", but not for us - we were probably there too early and won't be coming back. If you want to have fun with your four-legged friend, you should definitely come here.

In the Berggasthof Kellerskopf restaurant, idyllically located on the Kellerskopf mountain, guests can expect a great view, tasty vegetarian and vegan food and a few non-alcoholic mixed drinks in addition to the non-alcoholic standard offering. Overall, the menu is very limited in its selection - a restriction that is particularly noticeable in the vegetarian and vegan dishes. Vegetarians and vegans will find one vegetarian and one vegan dish in each category. The menu, which changes seasonally, even offered 2 vegetarian main courses (and 1 vegan dish) in February 2024. Vegetarians therefore have a choice. For vegans, however, the offer might leave something to be desired. The Berggasthof Kellerskopf describes its cuisine as “creative” and “upscale” - a characterization that does not apply from a subjective point of view. The food selection tends to rely on the familiar and well-known, which offer no particular element of surprise. Classics such as beetroot carpaccio with feta, lettuce and walnuts or burrata with figs, rocket and pine nuts may be solid, but lack the claimed creativity and fall into the category of the standard. This is also the case with the main courses, where Gorgonzola ravioli, gnocchi with Mediterranean vegetables and the good old eggplant have little that is new or innovative and are old friends of vegetarians and vegans. Although the dishes do not offer any culinary surprises, they still achieve a certain recognition through their craftsmanship and good taste, which is somewhat enhanced by the attractive presentation on the plate. The portion sizes themselves are rather small, although the prices can be considered reasonable. However, vegetarians and vegans should note that it is not worth ordering a menu with smaller portions in terms of price, as these are actually more expensive compared to à la carte dishes. A tip is to definitely order à la carte and get the “normal” portion sizes. The range of drinks for non-alcoholic guests is in the standard range with water, soft drinks and a few juices and spritzers. What is particularly pleasing, however, are the three non-alcoholic mixed drinks on offer, which impress with their taste, even if they are drunk quickly. Given the restaurant's remote location, the limited offering of creative non-alcoholic drinks seems unexpected. The restaurant's premises are clean, well-kept and designed differently, so that each room has its own charm. The service was attentive and friendly. In summary, the Berggasthof Kellerskopf is definitely recommended, even if there may be a bit of a lack of creative innovation for vegetarian and vegan dishes.

We had a very pleasant stay with 6 people. The food was very good and is basically in relation to the price. The "Three Kinds of Game" was a bit small in portion, but the duck leg and the burgers were excellent. A current problem was the parking lot and the staircase to the restaurant. Ice slush meant that you really messed up your shoes and my wife had problems walking up and down the path to the restaurant because it was very slippery. Depending on the weather, you should consider winter service.

Service was OK Unfortunately the goose was the worst I've had in the last 10 years. very firm and tough meat and the sauce didn't taste like anything. Overall impression: rather disappointing.

Meine Frau und ich haben dort unsere Hochzeit gefeiert inklusive Trauung auf der Trauterrasse. Es waren ca. 70 Gäste eingeladen und es war von Anfang bis Ende einfach alles super. Der Service, das Essen und das Ambiente sind auf dem Berggasthof Kellerskopf einzigartig. Riesen Dank speziell auch an die Bankettmanagerin Nadja, welche uns super auf den Weg zu unserer Traumhochzeit geholfen hat indem sie uns alle Fragen beantwortet und auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen ist. Natürlich auch vielen Dank an den Geschäftsführer Tim der uns ein bezauberndes Essen zubereitet hat. Das ganze Kellnerteam war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen dort eine Hochzeit zu feiern oder auch mal lecker essen zu gehen :)

Guten Tag liebe Leser und enttäuschte Gäste, Nachdem wir an unseren Tisch gebracht wurden, mussten wir feststellen, dass der Tisch wackelte. Weiter wurde unsere Bestellung nach vielen Minuten aufgenommen. Die Cola, welche uns serviert wurde, bestand aus einem billigen Sirupkonzentrat. In einem exklusiven Restaurant wie das Restaurant „Kellerskopf“ erwartet man original Coco Cola! Nachdem die Getränke serviert wurden mussten einige Gäste leider feststellen dass für Sie keine Menü-Karte vorhanden ist, sodass sich mindestens 3 Personen eine Karte teilen mussten. Das Restaurant hat daraufhin Wasser in einer sehr unhandlich Karaffe zur Verfügung gestellt. Zudem war das Wasser in der Karaffe zu kalt, sodass diese zu schwitzen begann und aus den Händen glitt. Kinder blieben komplett aussen vor, denn für sie gab es keine eigenen Optionen. Nachdem das Essen bestellt wurde mussten alle Gäste feststellen, dass sie mit verkratztem Besteck und Gläsern mit Spülflecken speisen müssen, was unzumutbar ist. Ein Kellner hatte die Aufgabe mindestens 30 Personen alleine zu bedienen, dies führte zu erhöhten Wartezeiten auf Speis und Trank. Die Tischdecke war offensichtlich nicht gebügelt, sodass Falten offen sichtbar waren. Die Fensterbank wurde stark vernachlässigt, denn diese wurde augenscheinlich seit Tagen oder auch Monaten nicht mehr geputzt. Ich rate allen Gästen mit einer inhalativen Allergie nicht dieses Lokal aufzusuchen. Letztendlich kann nur noch gesagt werden, dass die Aussicht, welche nicht jeder Gast sehen konnte, toll war. PS: Alle Wanderer packt euch ein Lunchpaket.

Super Ambiente, toller Blick nach Wiesbaden. Wir waren dieses Jahr auf einer Feier eingeladen. Wir waren etwas vor dem Beginn am Restaurant, leider durften wir nicht schon etwas früher in das Zelt, um unsere Sachen abzulegen. Es waren im Zelt Wasserflaschen aufgebaut, vielleicht sollten wir uns daran noch nicht bedienen... Service war etwas unorganisiert. Auf den Vorspeisen-Türmen waren leider nicht für alle Gäste eine Garnele, obwohl man meinen könnte, wenn sie abgezählt sind, dass es auch passen sollte. Hauptgang war super und wir haben auch das bestellte Essen erhalten. Bei der Nachspeise wurde leider wieder etwas gespart, man konnte nicht von allen Nachtisch-Sorten probieren, Schade.

Gute Parkmöglichkeiten direkt oben neben dem Restaurant. Essen etwas teurer, aber dafür super Qualität. Egal ob die Burger das Schnitzel oder die Rinderbäckchen alles gute Qualität. Bedienung aufmerksam und nett. Kommen gerne wieder.

Schön gelegene Waldgaststätte mit gehobener Küche. Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Zufahrt über sehr schmalen asphaltierten Weg möglich.

Wir hatten gestern mit rund 65 Personen einen Firmenevent im Berggasthof Kellerskopf. Sowohl bei der Besichtigung wie auch bei allen Besprechungen uns wichtiger Details wurden wir von Frau Ortmann überaus nett und sehr professionell betreut. Wir haben sehr genaue Vorstellungen zum Ablauf unseres Events, zu dem wir unsere Kunden aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz einladen. All unsere sehr hohen Erwartungen wurden absolut erfüllt. Die Preisgestaltung ist sehr transparent und der erhaltenen "Dienstleistung" mehr als entsprechend. Frau Ortmann und Herr Gassauer waren von unserem (sehr frühen) Eintreffen bis zum späten Ende unserer Veranstaltung anwesend und jederzeit ansprechbar. Das Serviceteam war genauso professionell und sehr, sehr nett und freundlich. Sowohl das Frühstück, das Mittagsbuffet wie auch das Grillbuffet am Abend waren ausgezeichnet - qualitativ wie auch geschmacklich. Die Lokation an sich kann man eigentlich nur mit "sensationell" beschreiben. Besonders die Außenanlage ist wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Als geschlossene Gesellschaft waren wir alleine vor Ort und konnten alle Terrassen, Pavillon und Innenräume nutzen. Alle Innen- und Außenbereiche sind sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Nicht nur wir als direkter Kunde waren weit mehr als zufrieden, auch unsere Kunden waren und sind voll des Lobes. Wir werden den Berggasthof Kellerskopf sowohl als Privatpersonen wie auch als Firma auf alle Fälle wieder besuchen. Hier stimmt wirklich ALLES!

Leider war der Aussichtsturm geschlossen.

Wir haben viel Gutes von Euch gehört. Leider kein ad hoc, Mal eben zum Wandern vorbei kommen Ziel. Man sollte unbedingt vorher anrufen oder auf der Webseite unter Termine und ganz wichtig Geschlossene Gesellschaft nachschauen. Letzteres war nicht sofort ersichtlich. Man muss das PDF herunterladen. Sonst steht man draußen. Das als Tipp, sonst ist man hungrig und enttäuscht. Wir versuchen es ein anderes Mal wieder.

Letztmalig war ich als Kind mit meinen Eltern hier. Da ich im HR3 TV einen Beitrag über diese Gaststätte gesehen hatte wollte ich es mal versuchen. 6.5.23 schöne waldreiche Umgebung. Auch nettes Ambiente. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen schmackhaft, aber leider nicht flexibel. Der Dessert Kaiserschmarren, den habe ich schon besser gegessen und die heiße Schokolade war wässrig und ohne Sahne. Die Preise sind leicht überteuert.

Wir haben hier Ende Januar standesamtlich im Panoramaraum geheiratet, sowie anschließend mit ca. 30 Personen etwas gegessen. Die Planung mit der Bankettmanagerin im Vorfeld war sehr unproblematisch und immer nett. Zum Essen haben wir uns für ein Buffet entschieden, alles war super lecker und der Service einfach perfekt. Es wurde wunderschön dekoriert. Wir hatten dort einen wunderschönen Hochzeitstag und können dieses Gasthof nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Danke nochmal an das Team!

Sehr leckeres Essen und super freundlicher Service.

Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern dort. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Die Hausgemachten Ziegenfrischkäse Ravioli waren mega lecker. Für die Kinder gab es kleine Bratwürste mit Pommes. Und der Kaiserschmarn war ein Traum. Vielen Dank wir kommen wieder.

Wenn man den Aufstieg auf den Kellerskopf geschafft hat, findet man hier einen wunderbaren Ort zum Erholen. Man kann bei schönem Wetter wunderbar draußen sitzen, die Aussicht und die Sonne genießen. Das Personal ist nett, kundenorientiert, gut zu den Speisen informiert und engagiert. Man versucht wirklich den Wünschen gerecht zu werden und fragt zum Beispiel in der Küche nach, wenn man bestimmte Zutaten nicht kennt. Geschmacklich ist das Essen gut und abwechslungsreich. Preislich erscheinen die Gerichte angemessen für die Lage.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen am 2.Weihnachtsfeiertag im Berggasthof Kellerskopf. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen, obwohl alle Tische belegt waren. Das Essen wurde recht schnell serviert und alles war wirklich super lecker. Wir konnten alle 5 Sterne dem Service und dem Essen geben. Auch das Menü mit der Pilzsuppe und dem Dessert.. Klasse. Wir kommen bald wieder. Reservieren natürlich vorher...

A great place, some re-modeling since I've been there last. Great dinner. Something on the menu for everyone. Friendly staff. Make a reservation ahead of time. On getting there (especially after dark), it might be a minor challenge (long winding road on a hillside). Plenty of parking. If you wanted to impress someone, this is definitely a restaurant to take them to.

Service was outstanding! I had the catfish, even though it tasted more like trout, it was delicious! The cherry ice cream for desert was phenomenal!

Suggest to make reservations. Good German food. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Playground for kids. Also a tower to climb and see the view of the surrounding areas.

Nice view from the top of the tower and not too many steps. Good service in the restaurant. Food was above average and had some classic German staples on the menu.

You go to the Kellerskopf for two reasons. First, it is a four-star type restaurant, and serves traditional German dishes. In the warmer months, you can eat outdoors. Second, you go for the view. The restaurant is built on top of the hill, overlooking Naurod and Wiesbaden. There's only one sign on the main road, which indicates the marginal paved road which leads up the hill, to the very top. Parking lot is big enough to handle the traffic. I wouldn't go up in winter months (in periods of ice or snow). From the main road, it's about a three-minute drive. Also, there are numerous trails around the "kopf" and you could spend an hour or two walking, then sit for your afternoon lunch. Make reservations if going on Friday or Saturday. If you just want a wine or beer, it's a great place for summer or fall to sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Pricing is reasonable. They serve coffee and cake (apple is five-star in my humble opinion). From center of Wiesbaden, it's a twenty-minute drive to the "kopf" (bring a camera, great views). Also, you can walk up the tower and get even better shots of the valley. The tower walk is not for those with knee issues.
