Veganaa in Berlin

Ich würde wirklich gern eine gute Bewertung geben, da das Essen lecker war, aber leider hat es unglaublich lange gedauert bis unsere Getränke und Essen kamen, obwohl wir nur zwei Gerichte bestellt haben. Die Teigtaschen waren gut aber der winzig kleine Beilagen“Salat“ war recht wenig als Ausgleich zu den schweren, frittierten Teigtaschen. Was etwas absurd war, war dass die Bedienung einfach nicht mehr aufzufinden war als wir bezahlen wollten. Er ging irgendwann zur Tür raus und kam nicht wieder. Nach einiger Zeit des Ausschau Haltens und Abwartens ging ich zur Küche und rief hinein dass wir gern zahlen würden… war etwas unangenehm und der ganze Restaurantbesuch blieb uns leider nicht positiv in Erinnerung.

Sehr fettig und zu teuer.. große Enttäuschung..

Süsser kleiner Laden. Wir konnten uns nicht entscheiden und haben gleich 3 Gerichte zu zweit verputzt. Eins war köstlicher als das andere und es gab immer noch zwei kleine Schälchen mit Kimchi und Kartoffelsalat dazu. Ein Traum und wir kommen ganz sicher bald wieder! Die Chefin kocht selbst und erzählte uns, sie sei seit 20 Jahren vegan 🌱 💚

Wirklich köstlich! Ein bisschen teuer, aber für die Qualität des Essens absolut lohnenswert.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen, wenn ihr herzhaftes und geschmackvolles Essen mit einem Lächeln serviert bekommen wollt :) Ich hatte vorher noch nie mongolisch gegessen und war von den Aromen und der Vielfalt der Gerichte total begeistert. Super leckerer kleiner Laden, das Essen schmeckt toll und ist frisch und hausgemacht.

Schöne Location mit traditionellen, mongolischen Möbeln und Teilen von Jurten dekoriert. Traditionelle und modernes mongolisches Essen.

Ich war gestern um 12 Uhr da. Leider war das Restaurant immer noch zu.

Alles wird liebevoll von Hand gemacht. Vor allem die Teigtaschen und die selbstgemachten Nudeln sind zu empfehlen.

Das Essen hier schmeckt sooo unfassbar gut!! Ich komme nicht aus Berlin und bin deshalb etwas traurig dass ich warten muss bis ich wieder herkommen kann :( Ich freue mich aufjedenfall wieder hier zu essen!!! 🩷

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Wir waren mehrfach dort und haben alles bereits ausprobiert. Alles hat gut geschmeckt. Obwohl alles ohne Fleisch ist, hat lecker geschmeckt. Leider befindet sich etwas weit von uns. Service ist ok. Aber man muss, manschmal schon etwas länger warten. Ambiente ist gemütlich. Klein, aber fein.

I was surprised here with what I consider to be the best fresh, handmade spinach noodles I've ever had the pleasure of eating. A fantastic meal, a chef who is incredibly friendly, preparing everything fresh herself, while still embodying the extremely friendly Mongolian culture, as I experienced. I bet many people only know Mongolia from geography class, but here you not only immerse yourself in an incredibly fascinating culture, but you can also discover it through culinary experience without any prior knowledge. The ambiance is fantastic, the dishes are amazing, diverse and prepared with great culinary ingenuity, close to the Mongolian original but with completely vegan ingredients and know-how. Honestly, if you really want to enjoy a truly good vegan meal, you can experience a new culinary world in the best atmosphere and rediscover vegan food. Give it a try, whether you're vegan or just want to try vegan food, you definitely won't be disappointed.

So if the online store says it's open Monday to Friday until 8 p.m., and the door says it's closed at 5 p.m., that's pretty uncool, especially if you drove there specifically. There's not even a notice on the door saying it's closed today for other reasons.

I love that there's a vegan Mongolian restaurant in Berlin, and I like how authentic and relaxed the atmosphere is in this restaurant. It's not a hipster place, and if you're interested in Mongolia and the Mongolian language, it's a really nice place. The owners were friendly, and you could finish your meal even after 9 PM without it being unpleasant :)

I went there on my husband's recommendation. It's very inviting and also great for girls who love the Bürger (townspeople).

Closed when it’s supposed to be open… you just lost two possible frequent clients that are vegan and live close by.

First visit to Berlin. This is the first vegan restaurant we visited. Served by a polite and attentive member of staff. The food was excellent and the beer was good. It was an enjoyable experience...plus the weather was lovely too...the breeze blowing through the open door was an added bonus... obviously will visit again.

Completely unassuming, and when asked how much potential the ambiance still has for improvement, the answer is: Yes. It's basically the ugly duckling of vegan restaurants in Berlin. But: The food is top-notch. Fresh and top-notch in terms of flavor. We'll definitely be back!

A hidden gem. Tbh the atmosphere is not too nice but the quality of the food and the friendly service make it up. Everything is freshly handmade.

I never thought vegetarian food could be this delicious.

We spontaneously ended up at Veganaa, where vegan Mongolian cuisine is prepared. After a brief, very pleasant chat with the owner (I assume it's the owner), we learned that she's been vegan for over 20 years and cooks herself. And you can taste it. Everything is fresh, lovingly prepared, and absolutely delicious. My favorites? Definitely the super juicy and spicy fricassee with soy strips. Simply delicious! But the buuz – steamed filled wheat dumplings – also rounded off my experience perfectly. Whether you're vegan or not (like me), this is a top spot!

Really amazing Vegan cafe with great food. We ordered the Naadam Huushur and Mantuun Buuz (both different varieties of dumplings). They came with Soya sauce, Kimchi and a potato salad. Very reasonable prices and friendly service in a nice relaxed cafe. They only take cash payment or Paypal. It was great to find somewhere where the food is completely Vegan and with great variety on the menu, we will definitely be back.

The best vegan dumplings I've eaten so far! We had two different varieties, both of which were really, really good. There was also a small portion of potato and coleslaw. So a clear recommendation :)

Wow, so delicious. My boyfriend doesn't like vegetarian food, but he would eat here again and again. The spice and spiciness of the beetroot noodles was perfect.

All vegetarian Mongolian dishes

I went to this place with my colleague who is vegan and I was also excited because of their great Google review. The food was very tasty, first time I had potato and Spinach in Pasta but it was amazing. I really loved the food here and same goes with my colleague. Service was also great and they could serve it quickly as well. Only problem was that it was expensive for a lunch in that area. However I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Vegan Mongolian food - I couldn't do anything with the combination at first, as Mongolian cuisine is considered to be more animal-based. At Veganaa, however, you will definitely be taught otherwise. I ordered two main courses because I couldn't decide and both were very tasty. For dessert I also treated myself to two pieces of cake without batting an eyelid. The owner(s?) are extremely friendly and the place is cozy. An insider tip in Schöneberg, where purely vegan restaurants are rather rare.

I had wanted to eat at Veganaa for a long time. Nevertheless, I was pleasantly surprised. The boss explained the dishes and the Mongolian focus of the dishes was not only a pleasant change but really delicious. I will definitely come back.

I had the beetroot noodles and loved it. The texture and consistency of the noodles was absolutely perfect, and it barely tasted like beetroot. The service was also very friendly and the ambience at the window seat was very pleasant.

Authentic Mongolian Food but Vegan. The fact that it tastes authentic is witchcraft. If you are a Vegan you need to visit this place and try Hushuur.

The food was freshly prepared. Even the pasta is made according to our own recipe. The Buuz are super tasty and a real highlight.

The "Buuz", the homemade dumplings, are freshly prepared and really delicious. Just a personal recommendation: it's better to eat them with cutlery. They are too big for the sticks ;)

Locale molto piccolo ma molto carino, con pochi posti a sedere all'interno. Il menù ha pochi piatti ma sono molto buoni ed anche belli da vedere. Tutto vegano di ispirazione asiatica ma con diverse contaminazioni. A servirci una signora, molto gentile e sempre disponibile. Abbiamo aspettato un po'per ricevere i piatti, perche preparano tutto al momento, oltre al fatto che l'atmosfera è molto rilassante. Prezzo più o meno 10€ a piatto!

Great food, shame about the vibes. I've been here twice so feel entitled to have a fair and balanced opinion. The first time I frequented this establishment, I was charmed by the delicious, authentic food. The service was slow but passable. Upon a return visit the service was too slow to even stay to eat. First we had to wait for a friend/family member to stop smoking so that we could sit. Then after ordering a drink we waited for 30 minutes to get the opportunity to order food. Eventually we had to depart without eating. Sad.

Lovely place to enjoy some vegan food. The restaurant is cosy and easy to find. My mocha latte was good. The vegan dumpling tasted nice, according to my friend. I saw some other interesting dishes on the menu. Maybe I will give it a try next time.

Als Besucher in Berlin bin ich eher zufällig auf das Veganaa gestoßen. Und was soll ich sagen: das war die berühmte Nadel im kulinarischen Heuhaufen! Die Teigtaschen waren (auch wenn der Ausdruck hier völlig unangebracht ist) saulecker. Sowohl Huushuur als auch Buuz waren supergut, genau auf den Punkt gekocht und die Beilage (Kimchi) die perfekte Schärfe. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, sehr gute Beratung bei der Auswahl. Kann ich besten Gewissens empfehlen und komme bestimmt wieder wenn ich wieder in der Stadt bin.
