My daughter and I had breakfast there today. The welcome was warm and funny from such a lovely young woman, truly heartwarming. Tasty food and simply successful. Thank you for that :)

I really liked the restaurant, the atmosphere is cozy and the service is in a good mood. The food was delicious and something new. However, I found the cocktails not mixed well and the toilets were quite dusty and not cleaned thoroughly.

Everything was wonderful!! Had a burger with fries plus wine spritzer. Everything delicious without end with really lovely and dedicated service staff. You have my heart 💕

I think the interior of the café is really nice and cozy and the service was really nice and friendly. Really really great :) Unfortunately, the croissant was forgotten during our meal (which I only noticed later otherwise we would have said something) maybe there wasn't any left, but we didn't get an alternative or were informed about it. The “sourdough bread” was also more like toast and looked completely different than the photos. That's a shame because we paid the full price (€29 is quite a lot) 🥹 That was the second time I had breakfast there, the pancakes are very good but the other food is only lukewarm and not very well seasoned / intense in taste. Don't know if I'll come back for breakfast; maybe more for desserts

We had the "breakfast for 2" and it was good (but not very good) and filling. Everything was nicely decorated and the service was very friendly. I would recommend it if you are in the area anyway.

The waitress was taking to her friend that came visiting her, which honestly was fine, we could wait. But what is not Ok is how rude she was to us. It’s also ridiculous that one of us wrote a review about it yesterday and her friend (the one visiting her) wrote back saying that she saw everything and her friend was a great waitress, and that we made fun of her (what????). For starters you were not even close to our table, in fact, there was nobody around us as the restaurant was almost empty, so you know whatever your waitress friend told you. We just wanted a menu and asked politely if we could have one, and she was very rude and passive aggressive to us twice. Even for Berlin this was too much! Never coming back.

The atmosphere is very nice and the service was also very friendly and good. We were really looking forward to an extensive vegan breakfast. Unfortunately, the Brettfast for 2 people was very bland and wasn't convincing at all. Most of it didn't taste like much and you had to read what it was to be able to imagine a bit of the taste. Both plates weren't really clean and a pot of tap water cost €6. All in all very Instagrammable and fancy but not recommended.

I was there for dinner today, everything was delicious and all the service was super nice and accommodating. I sat at the table next to the previous negative review and would like to note that the waitress responded very professionally to the customers' taunts. In general, we have been served and advised by her a few times!

We had dinner with friends and we highly recommend the starter plate for 2, which the four of us were able to eat as a starter and thus get an overview of the rest of the dishes. In other words, we decided on later main courses based on the starter plate. It was super tasty.

This was the second time we were there, and both times the service was extremely friendly and accommodating!!! The food itself is super tasty and the price-performance ratio is right. The vegan mac and cheese tastes better than non-vegan. All in all, we have found our favorite brunch option here.

We love the place, and we've had their French toast before ~2 months ago and it was amazing. Today the bread slices were thinner, the fruits portion was tiny, the toasts were cold, they forgot the syrup, and the worst of it all was paying extra for the mandelmus that you can see in the pic: it was completely dry and solid 😢

Wow, wow and wow again. I'm actually not a fan of this kind of cuisine...I went there with my daughter for the love of it. So I have to say absolutely recommended. My taste buds were fully engaged and completely pleasantly surprised. This will definitely be a regular place to visit next time you visit Berlin. Keep it up and the good reviews will come to you.

UPDATE: The restaurant approached me personally about my review on HC and accused me of s3xism. No, it has nothing to do with a woman showing her armpit hair, but rather I find it unhygienic that there is no dress etiquette in a place that serves food. The food is carried on the arm near the armpits and I don't want to find hair in my food. Going out and writing me a personal message to accuse me of this is the final straw. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unfortunately, the froindlichst has declined extremely in the last few months, and it is such a nice shop: 1) the prices are absolutely exorbitant. The breakfast burger, for example, two simple halves of bread with some vegetables in between for 14 euros. No side dish, nothing. You can't be hungry there, otherwise you'll not only be poor but also not full. The drink prices are also beyond good and bad and I'm pretty sure that the portion sizes of the dishes I was already familiar with have been reduced. 2) the service is slow and disinterested. When asked about missing cutlery, they say “ask my colleague”. We waited an hour for food, “there’s a lot going on in the kitchen.” It's understandable, but not my problem as a guest. The food served tasted good as usual, but, as complained about above, the price was absolutely exorbitant. I'll also allow myself a personal opinion: I find it disgusting when the waitress's armpit hair jumps out at me under her armpit-free top. In my opinion, this is extremely unsavory. It's Berlin, it's 2024, everyone can and should be who they are, but I still don't think a certain etiquette in gastronomy is wrong.

We went there once for breakfast and dinner and were very impressed both times! Since we don't come from Berlin, we always feel like we're in the land of milk and honey here! So much good vegan food 😍 We can definitely recommend Froindlichst, regardless of the meal, and we will definitely come back on our next visit.

It was such a great experience, everything was fantastic, the people, the food, the atmosphere. So freaking delicious and creative. Never had such a good vegan morzarella, the taste was so real an the rainbow salad had the best peanut dressing ever. Personal favorite. Another favorite was the Moscow Mule and the Service, so so nice and realistic. That one guy, so sweet and funny. One of my new favorite restaurants. You have to check it out, I will come back for the breakfast.

Unfortunately, I don't think the high prices are justified at all and I can't recommend the restaurant. You can get much tastier vegan food in the area for less money. We paid over €70 for 2 burgers and 2 drinks, both were quite good but nothing more.

Great service here! The person who took my order was very sweet after me saying that I didn’t know German. Service was very quick, got our beers immediately and our burger around 10-15 minutes. (If i remember the name correctly) Treffle patty was pretty good, everything fresh. The bun is a dream, patty was pleasantly seasoned. Overall, great place to dine and hang out.

After waiting for twenty minutes and indicating several times that we wanted to order, we were just getting up when the waitress came. She asked if we wanted to leave, to which I said yes. There was no excuse that there was a lot going on or she was alone, but simply: "Then just go." An impudence

You can do it. The orange juice was unfortunately disappointing and definitely not freshly squeezed as advertised.

Nice place and friendly service, but the food (breakfast) was hard to get down despite our hunger. Seems to be very popular but do try a single dish before you order breakfast for the entire family. The kids didn’t eat anything at all, and we left most of the food on the table.

Muscle man burger, slutty brownie and first of all the olives with dip. And everything vegan? Very very tasty. Sundays without a table reservation makes no sense. Today, Monday, it was easier. Prenzlauer Berg, we will definitely come back. Very attentive service, thank you!

nice place for all hours. i like the variety of options. i had the chickpea omlette, it was nice. they also have a lot of glutenfree options! you can have breakfast brunch lunch and even dinner there, which is very rare.

Had a delicious salad here—great, tasty food with very friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere. So glad I discovered this place! It’s going to be a regular stop on all my trips to Berlin.

The food tasted delicious and the employees were very friendly. I had a query about an allergy; this was answered kindly.

They stated in the menu that they have glutenfree food, but when I asked they said the kitchen is open and they cannot guarantee my food would not be contaminated. They need to review how they advertise the place. Was quite unpleasant to search for a new place, as most of the restaurants in the are require reservations.

With little experience with vegan food, I was thrilled with the quality - it was a delight!

Brunch/Frühstück mit der Familie, ein Veganer und vier Wenig-Fleisch-Esser im Alter zwischen 23 und 64 - wir alle haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und das Essen genossen. Die Reservierung war unkompliziert. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und hatten freie Platzwahl. Die verschiedenen Kaffees mit Pflanzenmilchvariationen waren lecker, hätten nur heiß sein können statt lauwarm. Das ist aber auch schon das einzige winzige Kritikpünktchen, das den Gesamteindruck jedoch nicht schmälern kann. Die Frühstücksplatten waren vielfältig und sehr lecker, der "Kuchen danach" hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Anblick der an den Nachbartischen servierten Burger war dazu angetan, unbedingt auch mal außerhalb eines Frühstücks wiederkommen zu wollen 😊. Erwähnt werden muss unbedingt auch das ausgesprochen froindliche Personal und das nette - helle und geräumige - Ambiente. Ganz sicher finden hier auch Nicht-Veganer und solche, die diese Art von Essen gern mal ausprobieren wollen, Leckeres auf der Karte. Ganz klar: Hingehen! Der Name ist Programm.

I've been there several times now and the waiters are always so nice and friendly. The food selection is very large and I personally find everything very tasty. The pancakes with the white chocolate sauce are particularly my highlight.

Very cool part of Berlin with outdoor and indoor seating. Food options are excellent. Went here with my wife for breakfast before getting the train home. The food we got was really tasty. Well worth a visit, but looks like it might be the sort of place that can get busy.

We had such a lovely experience getting dinner here that we went back for breakfast a few days later. The staff was very friendly and the place has a cozy & homely feel. The dinner dishes were great but the breakfast was truly excellent. Very creative and had lots of fun touches, we especially loved the chickpea omelette and the mac and cheese.

5 stars for food, 0 for service. Cool shop, but this super unfriendly service staff is unacceptable. Request to the owner: look for new people

Unfortunately, it was completely different than expected... the staff greeted us more annoyed and stressed than friendly. Totally tiring to eat with all the wasps surrounding you. Unfortunately the pancakes were also very dry… but the chai was really great!

Actually such a great restaurant - all vegan. But the service this morning was unfortunately extremely unfriendly and arrogant. 😢I also had to remember to order and pay twice. At the end she became really rude. The next table also shook their head at her when she took the order there. Such a shame! 😟 Please let me know if you have new staff and I will revise the rating and be happy to come back.

Great vegan brunch - will come back!

We had breakfast there during our 5 day stay in Berlin. Absolutely delicious, everything fresh, great quantities (you'll be absolutely full). Unfortunately we didn't discover it until late, otherwise we would have been there every day. Prices are absolutely fair :)

Super delicious food, the most friendly service ;) and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere! The dishes were not only excellent in terms of taste, but also lovingly prepared. We were there around 12:30 p.m. and easily found a table without a reservation. A little later the café filled up significantly, so a reservation might make sense during peak times. All in all: a wonderful place that we would like to visit again! :)

For everyone who likes vegan food like me, I can only recommend this restaurant. The service was extremely friendly, really heartfelt. Extra requests weren't a problem, quite the opposite. I had a BarbieKuh burger with fries. It was super tasty and the portion was more than enough. I'd love to come back!

A nice restaurant that covers burgers, pizza, bowls and all breakfast variations. We were here for breakfast and had a mixed platter and a granola bowl. The record was really awesome. The bowl could be better value for money ;) The staff is friendly and nice.

Great food, impressive vegan cheese here. Service level depends on when you visit. On weekends when the restaurant is busy the service can be very slow but on week nights this restaurant is a great place to have a dinner in. Strongly recommended for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores.

Loved this place. A little out of the way but worth the visit. Make sure you book in advance as very popular, especially for breakfast.

Very beautiful interior. Great food and the staff was really nice. The brunch here was exceptionally good tasting. The prices are also really good. If you are a larger group I would recommend to reserve prior to your arrival, to get a seat. If you're just up to 3 people you might be more lucky to get a spot. Overall definitely recommended to go here.

Very nice selection / menu of vegan treats. There are also gluten-free options, which I think is great and really appreciate. Unfortunately, the gluten-free burger bread is anything but great... it's dry and falls apart, ruining the whole burger, which would have been quite tasty otherwise. Unfortunately he wasn't. That's why there is a star deduction. I still give it 4 stars because I think it's great that it's a 100% vegan restaurant and at least tries to be gluten-free. Please let me know if you swap out the gluten-free burger bread and I'll be happy to come back 😆

Definitely not a place to recommend, food is very basic, fast food and the burrito 🌯 was basically not eatable. The matcha latte was good. High prices for the overall quality of food.. atmosphere is nice and the service is great. Just that you would expect more from a vegan restaurant..

(my friend had her period and they even gave us some ibu for her pain!!). the must-have here is the dark hot chocolate!! we ordered multiple because they were just so great! the atmosphere was really comfy and inviting located in a very beautiful street (with many plants<3)!!!

Non-alcoholic drink "Ipanema" (€7): very tasty "Cheesy Peasy" burger (€14.50): seasoned and delicious "Slutty Brownie" (€5): it was not baked evenly, the less baked part was creamy and delicious. The most baked part looked more like cake than brownie. Anyway, I think if it were smaller the piece would be less boring. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. They accept cards and speak English. I put the approximate values ​​of the items, as I only remember the brownie for sure. But the total bill was €26.

Was one of my favorite restaurants to this day. We arrived at 1:00 p.m. and were initially put off for 3/4 hours. We were between breakfast and lunch service and couldn't deliver the lunch service yet for organizational reasons, but we could order a drink. A dry slice of bread with the beer we ordered, which was then also out, was also not possible. We would have easily accepted the waiting time, but the inflexibility (no bread to tide you over) and the fact that several products on the menu (at least 2 types of beer) could not be ordered are knock-out criteria for me and not friendly! The quality of the food has been good so far, the ambience is OK.

+ super diverse selection of vegan dishes + pleasant atmosphere outside + recommended: Kraftprotz Burger and Loaded Fries as a side dish - Aperol Spritz was a bit too watery

One of the best vegan burger I tried in Berlin so far.

First of all, the expected: The food is modern, well executed, vegan and really tasty together with the location, so it's suitable for a "hipster" location, but here comes the positive difference, the service. I haven't experienced such friendly, approachable and humorous service in a long time, really great. A real recommendation, we will definitely come back. Oh yes, there were seven of us and we had pretty much everything including dessert, except the pizza.
