Excellent food, friendly service and a great atmosphere!

The service was friendly and the food was okay, but the coffee from the guy at the bar tasted awful and the "freshly squeezed" orange juice came from a plastic bottle, all for way too much money.

Amazing vegan english breakfast!! Good coffee and perfect for people watching as well.

We came here twice within three days of our vacation. Once we had the pistachio pancakes and the platter. Very tasty, a great selection of everything. The mac and cheese was so good we had to try the larger portion. The portion is huge and the accompanying salad is also good. The banana bread was delicious and fluffy. The service was extremely friendly both times 👍

The (fake) gyros with tzatziki was super delicious

The original vegan burgers with generous side dishes were very tasty, and the prices were fair.

Lovely vegan place in the charming Prenzlauer Berg. Breakfasts are served until 12.45 and are perfect for the really hungry.

An incredibly cozy place! We had the Brettfest, English Breakfast, and the breakfast burger. Everything was delicious, especially the chocolate spread.

I was excited to try the restaurant because it had a lot of good reviews and I was looking forward to a hearty vegan meal. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed: The burger was very dry, with no lettuce and a hint of sauce, and overall quite greasy (a lettuce leaf would have been nice). The burrito was also very dry! I found the portions small for the price, and even dips (ketchup, mayonnaise, etc.) cost extra. Unfortunately, the taste was nothing special or super tasty. However, the ambiance is really nice.

The waitress picked up the fork that had fallen on the floor, wiped it clean, and placed it with the clean cutlery. Why don't we eat off the floor? They're too natural. The explanation: There's not enough staff. Can you believe that? Please think again before you come here.

Way too expensive. The cheapest burger WITHOUT a side costs €14.50. A side of fries costs €4.50... The staff are very nice 🤗

I had the pancakes with chocolate spread (children's menu for €8). The chocolate spread was delicious with the hazelnuts in it. The pancakes were a bit different from regular pancakes, but still very good. The tables could be a bit longer; I sat with three other people at one side and felt a bit cramped. The service was friendly and the staff seemed welcoming.

We came here for breakfast for two. Everything was excellent and all vegan. The atmosphere is well-kept and very pleasant. The young man who served us was very helpful and kind. It was the best breakfast we had in Germany. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. If you're vegan or looking for a complete breakfast, this is the place to go.

Very quiet and cozy! An exclusively vegan menu with many great dishes. Preparation takes a little while, but that means they're freshly made! The staff is very friendly, and it's a quiet restaurant, especially peaceful and pleasant in the late morning. The food was delicious, and the hot chocolate was great too!

Today, the three of us had breakfast for €60, including a coffee each, a pancake with pistachio sauce, and the breakfast for two! The food itself was absolutely delicious and highly recommended. It definitely deserves 5 stars 👍 The one-star deduction is for the breakfast for two... serving only one croissant, one yogurt, and one spoon wasn't ideal.

We went there for breakfast on a Saturday around 11:30 a.m. I definitely recommend making a reservation, especially for larger groups. The furniture is quite colorful, certainly with a focus on sustainability. 👍🏻 The staff is super friendly and attentive to any requests you may have. The breakfast is quite varied; I had the Brettfest for one person, which was just about manageable (for someone who eats relatively a lot😅). Everything was very tasty and kept me full for quite a while. 👌🏻 My wife had the omelet with mushrooms, absolutely fantastic. The price was completely reasonable. Conclusion: We will definitely be back 😊 PS: If you order a matcha latte, make sure you order a glass of water.😁

The breakfast and flat white were delicious. High-quality ingredients and a special and loving execution. Attentive, courteous, and friendly service. The ambiance is cozy, open, and warm, making you forget about time. 10/10 - absolute recommendation!

Food was great. We took the breakfast for two which was huge, we barely finished it. The variety is big, tasty and surprising. The Mac and cheese was really good! Only suggestion for improvement - the omelette is made of chickpea flour, which has a prominent taste. There're lots of other vegan options that I think would be better. Nice coffee and matcha.

It's very friendly. The service is friendly, everything is top-notch. The tarte flambée is okay...of course, it's vegan. But a quiet voice whispers to me that it could be better. The dough and toppings are also good. It's a bit pricey, too...unfortunately, the pilsner was sold out; had it been available, my review would certainly have been more positive.

We were looking for a completely vegan breakfast spot in a hurry, and hey pretzel, we got the Brettfast for two and almost fell off our chairs. The mac and cheese and the scrambled eggs were a dream. Wonderful, wonderful, thank you so much for the mega breakfast. And the ambiance was incredibly beautiful, too. You should make a reservation, though.

We had breakfast at Froindlichst once, and then I ordered catering for my party there. This was probably the first time, and I think the catering was a complete success! Contacting them via email was easy, and they made me a great offer. We spoke with Setaiös over the phone; they were very uncomplicated and friendly! The food was delicious, especially the wraps and antipasti, which went down like crazy, even though most of them were non-vegans. And I thought the quiche was delicious too! I'd happily recommend you!

I was able to enjoy the delicious food (buffet-style finger food) at a birthday party. It was a fantastic, varied, and diverse vegetarian buffet. Very lovingly prepared and presented, and it was a feast for the eyes. Naturally, it was incredibly delicious and healthy too. Highly recommended! (Antipasti, quiche, skewers, wraps, etc.)

After being out all day, and not having eaten anything yet, I thought it would be a good idea to eat here. That was a clear mistake. I had a latte macchiato and a sundae punch. After 45 minutes, I was glad to be back at the hotel. I was in the bathroom all evening. I wasn't feeling well. It was clearly the fault of the place. I can't understand how these reviews come about, given my experience.

I came straight from the airport to this restaurant and was treated very poorly and made me feel extremely unwelcomed by a waitress with red hair. It was not a very nice first experience into Germany. I would definitely not recommend a dine in experience because of this..

For the first time in my life I felt really disgusted; there were at least 25 hairs in my food. After complaining to the boss, I was asked to leave my seat and told not to act like that.

We were quite disappointed since the reviews are quite good. The place is nice, its a typical vegan-hipster vibe (mis matched furniture, plants, minimalistic but warm etc.). We had vegan burgers with sweet potato fries. The side of fries was huge and enough to share for two, the fries were good. The Burgers were alright, nothing special tbh. The bun is soft with a gluey texture, the patty was store bought and could have been fried a little more to have a nicer texture on the outside. Biggest con is, that the bbq-sauce was so dominant that you could taste barely anything else in the Burger besides the vegan bacon. Prices are high for what you get.

I went there for breakfast. The staff was very friendly without being intrusive. The food was fabulous. And the cafe is absolutely cute. I'll be back next time I visit Berlin.

A draw. Three of us went there during the week with a reservation, and everything went well. The food is good, and yes, they have burgers, fried foods, and salads; it's on the menu, and you can decide whether you like them or not (to address other reviews in passing). If you don't like them, you just go somewhere else. We liked it; it was more than plentiful and delicious. The draft beer and wines are also good. What wasn't so good was the service. Initially friendly and attentive, it deteriorated significantly over the course of the evening. Okay, we were the second-to-last ones at 9 p.m., but going in to order another drink isn't nice. Neither is the ostentatious cleaning up, tidying up, and moving tables away. It's okay if you're finishing up or want to finish work; you can say something ("last round") and it's fine. To pay, I also had to approach the two waitresses, who, I must admit, were engrossed in what must have been a fascinating conversation. As a guest, I didn't feel very welcome.

A vegan and delicious restaurant where you'll feel at home. The café is modern and cozy, and the service is attentive 😊. We had the breakfast platter for two, which, while served with a variety of options, seemed a bit overpriced at €29 for the amount. We would have liked two of the Bircher muesli and pancakes, as they were difficult to split. Otherwise, we were very impressed with the chickpea scrambled eggs and the mac 'n' cheese.

I've known the name Froindlichst as a vegan restaurant for quite some time, and today I visited. For breakfast, I had the "Pancake Classic" menu: three pancakes with some vegan skyr, fruit, a few nuts, jam, and maple syrup. The jam and maple syrup were served in very small bowls, which were only half full and unfortunately emptied quickly. So I ordered more jam, which was then charged extra. I also had a cappuccino. The pancakes were delicious, the skyr with fruit and nuts went well with them, and the cappuccino was nicely rounded off. Upon request, I was given agave syrup to sweeten them. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was beautifully presented, and I didn't have to wait long. Price-wise, I found the whole thing to be on the higher end – €10.50 just for the pancake menu (without a drink) isn't exactly cheap for the portion offered. ``` Nevertheless, the taste, presentation, and friendly service made the visit a positive one for me. If I ever feel like having pancakes again, I'd probably stop by again.

We had fries with vegan gyro and vegan tzatziki, and an Aperol. Very, very tasty. Great vegan place. We'd love to go again!

We visited here for the first time today on my son's recommendation and were thrilled. Very friendly staff, lovely ambiance. Plenty of outdoor seating, and above all, delicious food. We had the English breakfast with sausages, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms, a delicious chickpea omelet, whole-grain bread, and more, and the pistachio pancakes with a perfect pistachio sauce and berries. We were very satisfied with the overall experience and will definitely be back and recommend it to others.

The sweet potatoes and the mini cheese pasta bake. I don't remember the name, but both were delicious. The other dishes at the tables also looked tempting. I've reserved a table for breakfast tomorrow. Dogs are allowed too.👍🏽 By the way, my iced tea was made with rhubarb and lemon 🍋, a lovely refreshment on a summer evening. I highly recommend it. You can sit inside or outside. Everything is very stylishly decorated. I saw a delicious Oreo cake in the display case...I'll have to try that too. 👍🏽😋

One of my favorite vegan brunch places in town that literally makes you miss nothing non-plant-based! Particularly soft brioche bun, posh-chilled PrenzlBerg vibes (especially on the weekend) ((if it’s not too crowded)) and everything the vegan foodie heart seeks I was just missing some cheese on the burger (don’t even start debating, cheese on a burger is non-negotiable – period.)
