Froindlichst in Berlin

I was able to enjoy the delicious food (buffet-style finger food) at a birthday party. It was a fantastic, varied, and diverse vegetarian buffet. Very lovingly prepared and presented, and it was a feast for the eyes. Naturally, it was incredibly delicious and healthy too. Highly recommended! (Antipasti, quiche, skewers, wraps, etc.)

Wow, it was delicious. There was even a discount with a new restaurant discovery app.

After being out all day, and not having eaten anything yet, I thought it would be a good idea to eat here. That was a clear mistake. I had a latte macchiato and a sundae punch. After 45 minutes, I was glad to be back at the hotel. I was in the bathroom all evening. I wasn't feeling well. It was clearly the fault of the place. I can't understand how these reviews come about, given my experience.

Baked beans taste like they came from a can, and the rest is just store-bought and served warm on a plate. Not worth the price; that's how you put people off vegan food.

I came straight from the airport to this restaurant and was treated very poorly and made me feel extremely unwelcomed by a waitress with red hair. It was not a very nice first experience into Germany. I would definitely not recommend a dine in experience because of this..

For the first time in my life I felt really disgusted; there were at least 25 hairs in my food. After complaining to the boss, I was asked to leave my seat and told not to act like that.

We were quite disappointed since the reviews are quite good. The place is nice, its a typical vegan-hipster vibe (mis matched furniture, plants, minimalistic but warm etc.). We had vegan burgers with sweet potato fries. The side of fries was huge and enough to share for two, the fries were good. The Burgers were alright, nothing special tbh. The bun is soft with a gluey texture, the patty was store bought and could have been fried a little more to have a nicer texture on the outside. Biggest con is, that the bbq-sauce was so dominant that you could taste barely anything else in the Burger besides the vegan bacon. Prices are high for what you get.

We ordered the vegan breakfast for two, coffee and matcha latte. It was incredibly delicious, and we were full for three :)

Super delicious! My 10-year-old son was initially very skeptical about vegan food, but then he was thrilled. Very friendly service!

A draw. Three of us went there during the week with a reservation, and everything went well. The food is good, and yes, they have burgers, fried foods, and salads; it's on the menu, and you can decide whether you like them or not (to address other reviews in passing). If you don't like them, you just go somewhere else. We liked it; it was more than plentiful and delicious. The draft beer and wines are also good. What wasn't so good was the service. Initially friendly and attentive, it deteriorated significantly over the course of the evening. Okay, we were the second-to-last ones at 9 p.m., but going in to order another drink isn't nice. Neither is the ostentatious cleaning up, tidying up, and moving tables away. It's okay if you're finishing up or want to finish work; you can say something ("last round") and it's fine. To pay, I also had to approach the two waitresses, who, I must admit, were engrossed in what must have been a fascinating conversation. As a guest, I didn't feel very welcome.

I went there for breakfast. The staff was very friendly without being intrusive. The food was fabulous. And the cafe is absolutely cute. I'll be back next time I visit Berlin.

A vegan and delicious restaurant where you'll feel at home. The café is modern and cozy, and the service is attentive 😊. We had the breakfast platter for two, which, while served with a variety of options, seemed a bit overpriced at €29 for the amount. We would have liked two of the Bircher muesli and pancakes, as they were difficult to split. Otherwise, we were very impressed with the chickpea scrambled eggs and the mac 'n' cheese.

I would love to eat here every day — everything is sooo good…

I've known the name Froindlichst as a vegan restaurant for quite some time, and today I visited. For breakfast, I had the "Pancake Classic" menu: three pancakes with some vegan skyr, fruit, a few nuts, jam, and maple syrup. The jam and maple syrup were served in very small bowls, which were only half full and unfortunately emptied quickly. So I ordered more jam, which was then charged extra. I also had a cappuccino. The pancakes were delicious, the skyr with fruit and nuts went well with them, and the cappuccino was nicely rounded off. Upon request, I was given agave syrup to sweeten them. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was beautifully presented, and I didn't have to wait long. Price-wise, I found the whole thing to be on the higher end – €10.50 just for the pancake menu (without a drink) isn't exactly cheap for the portion offered. ``` Nevertheless, the taste, presentation, and friendly service made the visit a positive one for me. If I ever feel like having pancakes again, I'd probably stop by again.

We visited here for the first time today on my son's recommendation and were thrilled. Very friendly staff, lovely ambiance. Plenty of outdoor seating, and above all, delicious food. We had the English breakfast with sausages, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms, a delicious chickpea omelet, whole-grain bread, and more, and the pistachio pancakes with a perfect pistachio sauce and berries. We were very satisfied with the overall experience and will definitely be back and recommend it to others.

The sweet potatoes and the mini cheese pasta bake. I don't remember the name, but both were delicious. The other dishes at the tables also looked tempting. I've reserved a table for breakfast tomorrow. Dogs are allowed too.👍🏽 By the way, my iced tea was made with rhubarb and lemon 🍋, a lovely refreshment on a summer evening. I highly recommend it. You can sit inside or outside. Everything is very stylishly decorated. I saw a delicious Oreo cake in the display case...I'll have to try that too. 👍🏽😋

One of my favorite vegan brunch places in town that literally makes you miss nothing non-plant-based! Particularly soft brioche bun, posh-chilled PrenzlBerg vibes (especially on the weekend) ((if it’s not too crowded)) and everything the vegan foodie heart seeks I was just missing some cheese on the burger (don’t even start debating, cheese on a burger is non-negotiable – period.)

Great vegan burgers! I never missed the meat. The fries and sauces were fantastic. Service was friendly. The only thing is, the old school chairs are a bit uncomfortable after a while...

We went here for breakfast on a beautiful summer morning and were thrilled. The burger, croissant, egg, and pancakes were all incredibly delicious and beautifully prepared. The service was super friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks, which were also very good, arrived super quickly. The location is fantastic! The ambiance is lovely, and so is the area. We were absolutely thrilled and would come back again and again and recommend it to others!

We were in Berlin for a few days, and since we follow a vegan diet, we naturally needed a suitable restaurant. I had already done a bit of research beforehand and came across your restaurant. I really wanted to go there, and we were overwhelmed by what we found. Beautiful ambiance, and the food was simply amazing; not only was it delicious but the visuals were also breathtaking. 😍 The price was great, and we will be back next time we are in Berlin. Keep up the good work. I give it 10 out of 5 stars.

I'm absolutely thrilled with this vegan spot. The menu isn't overly extensive, but it's diverse and creative. At lunchtime, they offer a choice of pizza, burger, and bowl. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is extremely friendly and attentive. I was able to easily adapt my chosen bowl to my intolerances. 👍 I highly recommend the "Keesekuchen" (cheese cake) for dessert. A first-class place for vegan dining.

We've been here several times and have been extremely satisfied each time. The platters, in particular, are highly recommended for larger groups. The vegan cheese fondue is also highly recommended and a welcome change!

IF YOU NEED GLUTEN-FREE HEALTH RELATED STAY AWAY !!! NO MORE PIZZA AT THIS PLACE !!! Despite mentioning pizza on their website, there is none on the menu. “Gibts nicht mehr”. No appologies, they just did not care. Since I came for pizza, I did not eat as for me there was too much garlic and onions in their other dishes. I just had something to drink. We ended up being served an under average sized BBQ-burger with no BBQ-sauce as it turned out their BBQ-sauce was not gluten-free. Instead, we got the onions, which we did not want. Had we been informed that they changed our order? No, we were told when food was served. When we asked for our leftovers to be packed, I was handed a box to pack them myself. Nice service! Guess you still expect being tipped. Overall we paid 35 euros for one gluten-free burger with fries (€25!) and two drinks, as they ridiculously overcharge for gluten-free options. I left hungry and disappointed. Thank you for your underwhelming hospitality. We will “froindlichst” go elsewhere next time.

Unfortunately, the appetizer (starter) arrived at the same time as the main course. The service was also not very good (drink ordering, clearing plates, paying). The food, however, was good.

Discovered this new and trendy spot in the heart of fancy Prenzlauer Berg while walking with my hungry 4-year-old, who wasn’t in the best mood. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try anything because when I asked if they had a free table, the young woman at the door literally laughed in my face. No smile, no apology, just an eye-roll that made it clear I wasn’t welcome at all. Wishing her and the business owners all the best, but with that kind of attitude toward potential customers, I doubt they’ll go far. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend it.

One of the best vegan restaurants in Berlin! I absolutely love it here and have probably taken every one of my friends here at least once. The food is fantastic, whether it's breakfast, lunch, a quick coffee and cake stop, or an evening meal with the family. Everyone will find something they like, and everyone will enjoy it! (Even non-vegans 🤭) The service is always super friendly, and you feel completely at home. It's always like picking flowers for me to eat here 🩷

The food is super delicious, the mac n’ cheese is a highlight that I haven’t found anywhere else. We ordered a lot because we always like to try out different things and usually take something home with us for later. When we asked for the rest of the food to be packed for us, the waitress brought a box to our table! And then we had to scrape the leftovers off the plates ourselves!! Absolute no-go. Too bad.

Standard brunch spot, "freshly pressed orange juice" was definitely not freshly pressed, it was the yellow standard juice. Pancakes with "skyr" - was only 2 table spoon and the fruits they were served with, were not that fresh. Service was friendly, music could be improved (was very sad). Prices were okay.

The food was okay, I'm just not a fan of everything being forced to be veganized, the "scrambled eggs" in the menu for two were dry and overall there was little choice without "animal product alternatives" (i.e. vegan salmon, vegan eggs, etc.). The iced latte was mixed up and made with syrup and the plates were dirty. Overall, the ambience was nice, the service was very friendly, but only 3 stars because of the deficiencies mentioned, the long waiting time and high prices. Wouldn't go again if I could avoid it.

Great restaurant with more tables than expected and a small but sufficient menu. The food was very good. The burrito in particular was fantastic. The iced tea was not too sweet and not too bitter. The only small drawback is the long waiting time, even though there weren't many guests there. It can get very crowded at lunchtime. Things are more relaxed after 2 p.m. A great restaurant with good connections for vegans or vegetarians.

Excellent food, but an underwhelming service, we (4) people seemed invisible to a completely disinterested staff. Food was very tasty but came practically cold after a long wait. For the price ratio it would need to pick up the service.
