Very cute & lovely place with a delicious vegan English Breakfast. Everything was so good, and it was super cozy. Top notch experience ❤️

The food is super delicious, the mac n’ cheese is a highlight that I haven’t found anywhere else. We ordered a lot because we always like to try out different things and usually take something home with us for later. When we asked for the rest of the food to be packed for us, the waitress brought a box to our table! And then we had to scrape the leftovers off the plates ourselves!! Absolute no-go. Too bad.

Standard brunch spot, "freshly pressed orange juice" was definitely not freshly pressed, it was the yellow standard juice. Pancakes with "skyr" - was only 2 table spoon and the fruits they were served with, were not that fresh. Service was friendly, music could be improved (was very sad). Prices were okay.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Berlin! Great menu and super tasty! For me it's now an absolute must when I'm in Berlin!

The food was okay, I'm just not a fan of everything being forced to be veganized, the "scrambled eggs" in the menu for two were dry and overall there was little choice without "animal product alternatives" (i.e. vegan salmon, vegan eggs, etc.). The iced latte was mixed up and made with syrup and the plates were dirty. Overall, the ambience was nice, the service was very friendly, but only 3 stars because of the deficiencies mentioned, the long waiting time and high prices. Wouldn't go again if I could avoid it.

Great restaurant with more tables than expected and a small but sufficient menu. The food was very good. The burrito in particular was fantastic. The iced tea was not too sweet and not too bitter. The only small drawback is the long waiting time, even though there weren't many guests there. It can get very crowded at lunchtime. Things are more relaxed after 2 p.m. A great restaurant with good connections for vegans or vegetarians.

Excellent food, but an underwhelming service, we (4) people seemed invisible to a completely disinterested staff. Food was very tasty but came practically cold after a long wait. For the price ratio it would need to pick up the service.

We were quite disappointed since the reviews are quite good. The place is nice, its a typical vegan-hipster vibe (mis matched furniture, plants, minimalistic but warm etc.). We had vegan burgers with sweet potato fries. The side of fries was huge and enough to share for two, the fries were good. The Burgers were alright, nothing special tbh. The bun is soft with a gluey texture, the patty was store bought and could have been fried a little more to have a nicer texture on the outside. Biggest con is, that the bbq-sauce was so dominant that you could taste barely anything else in the Burger besides the vegan bacon. Prices are high for what you get.

I absolutely love burgers, especially with meat patties. The vegan burgers offered here are among the best I've ever eaten. I definitely recommend them.

The food and drinks were super tasty and came pretty quickly after ordering. The waitress who served us was very friendly. The food here isn't super cheap, but the prices are still very fair in my opinion. I would love to have breakfast here again.

We had a good time. The staff is very friendly. The fresh orange juice I would not recommend if you expect freshly pressed orange juice. Also I in my opinion the breakfast for two (on the wooden board+plus the small bowl of mac n cheese) is not enough for two people.

Froindlichst in Prenzlauer Berg absolutely convinced me! The atmosphere is super cozy, the staff friendly and attentive. I was particularly impressed with the rhubarb lemon lemonade – so refreshing and perfectly balanced. For the main course I had the Planted Chicken Teriyaki Burger with sweet potato fries, and I have to say: simply heavenly! The burger was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy. This really shows how delicious plant-based cuisine can be. Definitely an absolute recommendation – I’ll be back! 🌱💚

Everything went smoothly, from reservation to payment. I would recommend making a reservation in advance, especially on weekends, as it is very busy. Overall, a nice restaurant with good vegan cuisine – would be happy to come again. 🌻

Delicious cafe for brunch. Unfortunately there are quite long waiting times, but everything is freshly prepared. We had the board breakfast for 2 people. The portion was enough for 2. Very good coffee. Nice ambience throughout the cafe.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for drinks, food and the bill. Unfortunately, we also got the wrong food and had the impression that there weren't enough staff on duty. The girls were very friendly, but there were simply not enough staff on duty.

We actually went for breakfast today but unfortunately we were too late as breakfast lasts until 12:45 😅 well our fault but then we decided to eat there anyway and we were overwhelmed. We had an early evening dinner here. As a vegetarian it is always a treat to eat in a vegan/vegetarian restaurant and be able to consider the whole menu! And what a varied menu! Burgers, poke bowls, vegetable bakes and lots of variations of potato! I had a quinoa, chickpea and mixed salad poke bowl and my husband had the “chicken “ burger with potato chips/fries. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals- the potato portion is massive by the way! I had a very good, very rhubarby rhubarb limonada , and my husband enjoyed a nice beer. Unfortunately the waiting staff seems to forget about us after bringing our food and left our empty plates sitting there for 20minutes before I went in search a dessert option. Unfortunately despite it being only 7pm they had none! The service let is down in the end.

Great vegan food that is a must try. An interesting vegan version of the "English Breakfast" and the breakfast for one person is sufficient and varied. There is also delicious fresh orange juice! Nice service and nice decor. Absolutely recommended - even for a date!

It was a great experience, everything was fantastic, the people, the food, the atmosphere. So damn delicious and creative. I've never had vegan morzarella this good, the taste was so real and the rainbow salad had the best peanut dressing ever. Personal favorite. Another favorite was the Moscow Mule and the service, so nice and realistic. This one guy, so sweet and funny. One of my new favorite restaurants. Be sure to check it out, I'll be back for breakfast.

No tomes la tarta de queso Oreo, es salada y solo tiene una galleta Oreo en la parte superior, el resto de la tarta está hecha de queso salado y cacao! No tan "freundlich" muy joven y grosero despistado y olvidadizo con una actitud arrogante. Seguían olvidando órdenes y por recordatorios en lugar de una disculpa recibimos un "muchas gracias por hacérmelo saber" que se repitió sarcásticamente. Cuando pagas con tarjeta de crédito y aparece la opción automática de "propina" te dicen "tírate aquí" poniéndote bajo presión para dejar una propina grande. Me sentí ofendido por cosas tan irrespetuosas y arrogantes

Very good quality food. Everything tastes homemade. Large selection of dishes, gladly again.

We tried to go there 3 times on different days to have breakfast, one of which we even made a reservation through the Neotaste app, but we were always refused and treated coldly, the staff were very rude, and the café wasn't even full, there were several tables available... Berlin has a huge variety of good cafés and thank God, we ended up getting to know other cafés that seemed much more professional.

Gluten free burgers YES YES YES extra tasty

We had the platter for two so we could try a bit of everything. The breakfast was very tasty, my highlight were the pancakes (and the nut nougat spread). In general, however, I found breakfast to be very chickpea-heavy. Both the “egg” and the spreads were chickpea based. There were also marinated chickpeas, which were very tasty, but it made everything seem a bit monotonous.

I had breakfast at Froindlichst today and unfortunately I didn't quite understand why the good barista was carrying plates and someone else was making inedible coffee. I then let the coffee go back because I burned my hand on the hot cup. I actually really enjoy coming here, but the difference in quality is a shame, especially given the very high prices in the store.

I went to this cafe twice with my girlfriend and it was worth it every time. The food was not only delicious, but also completely vegan - a real treat! The portions were filling, although they seemed a bit small at first glance. The price of the café is on the higher side, so I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use if you have to watch your budget. However, it is ideal for a special occasion or a cozy meeting. We particularly liked the ambience: the furnishings are modern, lively and cozy without appearing overloaded. It is tidy, bright and offers plenty of space, which makes it particularly pleasant to stay. The waitresses were consistently friendly and polite, which further rounded off the experience. We will definitely come back on our next vacation – a real highlight!

I had pancakes there for breakfast. The portion was a bit too big for me, but they were super tasty. Very fluffy. The maple syrup and cinnamon plum jam were perfect. Almonds, some fruit and a dollop of yogurt rounded it off well. Would love to have breakfast there again.

The service was very courteous and friendly, we had a good chat with her. The ambience also leaves nothing to be desired, you feel very comfortable. We went for brunch on a Saturday and had reserved in advance (recommended). The service was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast menu was varied. Personally, I found the platter too hummus-heavy for two (and I love hummus). Instead of the "hummus salad" I would have preferred something fresher, such as: Some green salad (lamb's lettuce, ruccola, tomato!?) desired. I generally missed green salad in the breakfast menu. The prices are quite high and the atmosphere is pleasant. I would come back 💚

I really liked the restaurant, the atmosphere is cozy and the service is in a good mood. The food was delicious and something new. However, I found the cocktails not mixed well and the toilets were quite dusty and not cleaned thoroughly.

I think the interior of the café is really nice and cozy and the service was really nice and friendly. Really really great :) Unfortunately, the croissant was forgotten during our meal (which I only noticed later otherwise we would have said something) maybe there wasn't any left, but we didn't get an alternative or were informed about it. The “sourdough bread” was also more like toast and looked completely different than the photos. That's a shame because we paid the full price (€29 is quite a lot) 🥹 That was the second time I had breakfast there, the pancakes are very good but the other food is only lukewarm and not very well seasoned / intense in taste. Don't know if I'll come back for breakfast; maybe more for desserts

We had the "breakfast for 2" and it was good (but not very good) and filling. Everything was nicely decorated and the service was very friendly. I would recommend it if you are in the area anyway.

The waitress was taking to her friend that came visiting her, which honestly was fine, we could wait. But what is not Ok is how rude she was to us. It’s also ridiculous that one of us wrote a review about it yesterday and her friend (the one visiting her) wrote back saying that she saw everything and her friend was a great waitress, and that we made fun of her (what????). For starters you were not even close to our table, in fact, there was nobody around us as the restaurant was almost empty, so you know whatever your waitress friend told you. We just wanted a menu and asked politely if we could have one, and she was very rude and passive aggressive to us twice. Even for Berlin this was too much! Never coming back.

The atmosphere is very nice and the service was also very friendly and good. We were really looking forward to an extensive vegan breakfast. Unfortunately, the Brettfast for 2 people was very bland and wasn't convincing at all. Most of it didn't taste like much and you had to read what it was to be able to imagine a bit of the taste. Both plates weren't really clean and a pot of tap water cost €6. All in all very Instagrammable and fancy but not recommended.

I was there for dinner today, everything was delicious and all the service was super nice and accommodating. I sat at the table next to the previous negative review and would like to note that the waitress responded very professionally to the customers' taunts. In general, we have been served and advised by her a few times!

We had dinner with friends and we highly recommend the starter plate for 2, which the four of us were able to eat as a starter and thus get an overview of the rest of the dishes. In other words, we decided on later main courses based on the starter plate. It was super tasty.

Love the concept and we felt so comfortable!

We love the place, and we've had their French toast before ~2 months ago and it was amazing. Today the bread slices were thinner, the fruits portion was tiny, the toasts were cold, they forgot the syrup, and the worst of it all was paying extra for the mandelmus that you can see in the pic: it was completely dry and solid 😢

This was the second time we were there, and both times the service was extremely friendly and accommodating!!! The food itself is super tasty and the price-performance ratio is right. The vegan mac and cheese tastes better than non-vegan. All in all, we have found our favorite brunch option here.

Wow, wow and wow again. I'm actually not a fan of this kind of cuisine...I went there with my daughter for the love of it. So I have to say absolutely recommended. My taste buds were fully engaged and completely pleasantly surprised. This will definitely be a regular place to visit next time you visit Berlin. Keep it up and the good reviews will come to you.

UPDATE: The restaurant approached me personally about my review on HC and accused me of s3xism. No, it has nothing to do with a woman showing her armpit hair, but rather I find it unhygienic that there is no dress etiquette in a place that serves food. The food is carried on the arm near the armpits and I don't want to find hair in my food. Going out and writing me a personal message to accuse me of this is the final straw. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unfortunately, the froindlichst has declined extremely in the last few months, and it is such a nice shop: 1) the prices are absolutely exorbitant. The breakfast burger, for example, two simple halves of bread with some vegetables in between for 14 euros. No side dish, nothing. You can't be hungry there, otherwise you'll not only be poor but also not full. The drink prices are also beyond good and bad and I'm pretty sure that the portion sizes of the dishes I was already familiar with have been reduced. 2) the service is slow and disinterested. When asked about missing cutlery, they say “ask my colleague”. We waited an hour for food, “there’s a lot going on in the kitchen.” It's understandable, but not my problem as a guest. The food served tasted good as usual, but, as complained about above, the price was absolutely exorbitant. I'll also allow myself a personal opinion: I find it disgusting when the waitress's armpit hair jumps out at me under her armpit-free top. In my opinion, this is extremely unsavory. It's Berlin, it's 2024, everyone can and should be who they are, but I still don't think a certain etiquette in gastronomy is wrong.

We went there once for breakfast and dinner and were very impressed both times! Since we don't come from Berlin, we always feel like we're in the land of milk and honey here! So much good vegan food 😍 We can definitely recommend Froindlichst, regardless of the meal, and we will definitely come back on our next visit.
