Leider sehr enttäuschend! Wir hatten zwei Falafel-Taschen mit Babaganoush. Leider haben uns diese geschmacklich überhaupt nicht überzeugt. Was ich zudem sehr schade finde: Es gibt keine richtige Speisekarte, auf der transparent aufgeführt ist, welche Gerichte angeboten werden und welche davon vegan bzw. vegetarisch sind. Wir hatten uns unter anderem aufgrund des Namens für dieses Restaurant entschieden, da wir davon ausgegangen sind, dass es sich um ein komplett veganes Restaurant handelt. Leider ist das nicht der Fall – es werden unter anderem nicht-vegane Mayo, Halloumi und Ayran angeboten. Dadurch ist der Name aus meiner Sicht leider irreführend und vermittelt einen falschen Eindruck. Grundsätzlich finde ich es natürlich absolut positiv, wenn ein Restaurant überwiegend vegane Speisen anbietet. Gerade dann sollte aber klar und transparent kommuniziert werden, was tatsächlich vegan ist. Eine Speisekarte mit entsprechenden Kennzeichnungen würde hier sehr helfen. Insgesamt war unser Besuch daher leider enttäuschend – sowohl geschmacklich als auch hinsichtlich der Transparenz.

Köstliches Essen zu ausgezeichneten Preisen!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und wurde sehr schnell serviert.

Der Ort ist sehr schön und das Essen ist gut.

Wir haben den Falafel-Teller mit Pommes probiert und zum Nachtisch noch das Baklava – alles hat richtig lecker geschmeckt! Besonders die Falafel haben uns sehr gut gefallen. 😊 Der Service war ebenfalls wunderbar. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen und haben uns direkt willkommen gefühlt. Genau so wünscht man sich Gastfreundschaft! Für mich ist dieses Restaurant definitiv zu einem meiner liebsten veganen Restaurants geworden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können es nur weiterempfehlen! 🌱❤️

Wenn ich 10 Sterne vergeben könnte, würde ich es tun- dieser Laden ist einfach der Beste! ⭐️ wir hatten für meinen Geburtstag eine große Party Platte bestellt und selbst die nicht vegane Familie kam nicht aus dem Staunen über den Geschmack dieser Köstlichkeiten. Alle waren sooo begeistert & wir danken euch besonders auch für diese liebevolle Präsentation 🥹💕 für Partys & auch so eine hervorragende Adresse.

Bester Spot für Falafel in Ehrenfeld!

Seit wann ist es bitte normal dass mein cheeköfte warm serviert. Die Konsistenz des Zirkels ist dadurch einfach nur Matsch und schmeckt nach müll. Das war das schlechteste was ich in meinem Leben gegessen habe

Für meine Erfahrung war es der perfekte und frischeste Falafel der Stadt.

Wirklich gute Falafel zu einem fairen Preis, verglichen mit der Inflation in Ehrenfeld. Die Pommes sind auch gut, und die Jungs, die dort arbeiten, sind immer freundlich.

The food isn't bad, but it's not a purely vegan restaurant. Even when it's not busy, the wait is relatively long, considering the dishes aren't elaborate. They only accept cash. The interior/tables aren't uncomfortable, but for example, the table hadn't been wiped. Overall, it's okay, but not a 5/5 place.

Warning: Not (anymore) purely vegan! Even though the name suggests otherwise, this is not a purely vegan restaurant. Among other things, halloumi (cheese) is used here. This is cut on the same board with the same knife as the vegetables and fried in the same deep fryer (all at the same time) along with falafel and fries. This may not bother some vegans, but for severe allergy sufferers like me, it's unfortunately life-threatening. I find it absolutely misleading to call the shop "Vegan Food Revolution" or to keep the name even though they've switched to vegetarian. By the way, you don't notice this (so far) when ordering online, as only vegan dishes are still listed there. This can have serious consequences for allergy sufferers! General review: We used to love the food here; the falafel was always fresh and particularly delicious, as were the hummus and baba ghanoush, and all the other dishes. Unfortunately, the quality has declined somewhat in recent years. Furthermore, the staff used to be super friendly and welcoming. Maybe I was unlucky, but the reaction when I asked about my allergy and vegan options seemed almost annoyed. What a shame! It was such a great place with the most delicious falafel ever. 🥺💔 If none of that bothers you, it's still worth going there, as the falafel and cheese kofte are still good.

The food is good and the prices are fair, but the misleading name definitely detracts from the rating – the restaurant isn't 100% vegan! They serve cheese and mayonnaise with egg. The restaurant is labeled vegan, but unfortunately, this deducts two stars.

Very good place. It doesn't look like much, but the food is damn delicious, the prices are fair, and the staff is very friendly. The men's restroom, however, is really unpleasant; you wouldn't want to have to do anything more than pee there. That definitely needs to be improved.

Our food is a two part story. My avocado falafel was delicious, 5 star worthy. My partner had a makali sandwich. It was cold and way too salty. The fries we had were good. Over all a mixed 3.5 out of 5, but because the owner is very friendly, I reluctantly give 4 stars.

I went to Vegan Revolution with my son and I absolutely loved it! The falafel are crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside – just as they should be. And the homemade hummus is simply heavenly! So creamy and flavorful – I could eat it all. I also particularly like how friendly the staff is. You receive a warm welcome and immediately feel welcome. A place with soul, good food, and a lot of attention to detail. I'd love to come back!

I've been to Vegan Revolution a few times now – and every time it's been simply fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly, you're immediately greeted with a smile and feel completely at home. The food? Simply unbelievably delicious! You can tell that everything is freshly made. I particularly like the falafel and the various dips. For the price, you get a lot of quality here – and it's completely free of animal products. I'll definitely be back! Thanks to the whole team!

The food at Vegan Revolution was really delicious, and the price was reasonable. We had a mixed plate, two ayrans, and a side of fries. Total was €21. The hummus was very good, and the kofte and falafel were delicious. Service was discounted because card payments weren't accepted.

Very tasty falafel and çigköfte. The staff are always cheerful, and they have the most beautiful and delicious party platters in Cologne for celebrations.

In my opinion, this is by far the best and most authentic falafel you'll find in Cologne. Simple as tarator, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, parsley, and mint, this magnificent dish is a burst of flavor. Very vegan-friendly, as everything here is vegan except for the halloumi. The owner is also very nice and passionate about his work. I always enjoy coming here for a delicious falafel.

Delicious, but unfortunately not everything is vegan

I'm basically a regular customer here - favorite falafel shop in Cologne 🩷 it tastes super fresh and delicious (I recommend ordering the sandwiches with Baba Ghanoush) 😋 the staff are always friendly too. And you can also sit really comfortably inside for a snack, even with several people. I'm very glad that there is this store near me :)

We had dinner here last night and shared two dishes: Baba Ganoush and Falafel Teller, finishing with a delicious baklava. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The service was fast and friendly, and the quality-to-price ratio was excellent. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Cologne. Highly recommended!

I just understand when you think about working with credibility, why is your credibility zero? If you say that you are open and you are drunk and you know that your customers are coming from outside, Colin, by God, it is a shame. I mean, this has happened the third time. It is a shame and it is not a loss if you adjust your working hours. One person is afraid that you will have a fault.

Because I am Syrian, this type of food is famous among us in Syria. The taste was not very delicious. I mean, I did not find the attractive taste of spices in the beans or in the falafel. The price is also expensive for the amount of beans. As for the service, it was very nice. In short, I say there is nothing wrong with it and I recommend trying it once, you might like it.

One of the tastiest things my mouth has ever tried. Especially the Chig Köfte with Baba ganoush. The place is lovely as well as the cook. It’s cheap but very fulfilling, I couldn’t finish my meal in one sitting cause is was so big (but I’m also a small woman who doesn’t eat much). I strongly recommend this place to every human on earth it’s the best combination of freshness, juiciness, spiciness and texture

Best falafel ever! I think it's particularly great that there are herbs in it and always hummus. My eternal special request is never a problem (THANK YOU 🙏🏼) and there are so many variations (Babaganoush, Foul, Makali, Chee Köfte...)! You can just tell that the veggie dishes are the focus here and that they don't make falafel in addition to kebab. And all at unbeatable prices! 💚

My experience at this restaurant was excellent overall. The dishes of Syrian Ful Medames, Syrian Ful Medames with Yogurt and Falafel were so delicious that I couldn't figure out the secret recipe of the delicious flavors. The taste was really exceptionally good! *In addition, the person working in the restaurant was extremely friendly and accommodating and does an excellent job. * I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone..!!!
