There are great vegan alternatives here. However, the dining room is not that nice, I find the light rather unpleasant and it all looks a bit like an old snack bar. Staff is very nice.

Vefa has really great cuisine and is always delicious. We love coming here and can highly recommend it. The friendly guys behind the counter are great!

Salad with a bit of seitan is not called a kebab. Price performance is right 0 Looks good, as soon as you bite into it you notice how they tried to fill 90% of the bread with salad. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't convincing either. The fact that the price is even higher than stated is the final straw. Would never come again. A recommendation to stay away from here.

We ordered black tea twice, I normally expect the standard typical Turkish small tea glasses in a Turkish restaurant. Normal cups came. Then the shock: €6 for two teas. In downtown Mannheim I get a cappuccino from the portafilter machine for 2.70. So extortionate prices...

Brought a kebab plate to take away. So I don't think he's special. Meat lightly seasoned. Sauce very sweet and without spice. Salads mainly consist of ready-made coleslaw and carrot salad. I'm not coming anymore. Very unfortunate. And the kebab plate €12.90 😳

The waitress speaks German very poorly and doesn't understand Turkish either. Proper communication is therefore very difficult. The meat in the mixed meat platter was extremely tough, more than half of it was not eaten. İskender plate was a complete fiasco that has nothing to do with Iskender on yogurt and bread there was just a whole dürüm meat. Paying €51 for something like that is pretty bitter👎🏻👎🏻

As a vegan, it is not always easy to find substitutes in restaurants, but you will find them here. If you like Saitan, you should be happy here. We were hungry and looked for "vegan kebab" on Maps, but we were now fed up with falafel kebabs and were really happy that we could eat something with Saitan. I had a vegan Iskender and my husband had the Saitan plate and it tasted A1! Perhaps unimportant to many, but we also noticed that the smell in this restaurant was neutral, even though meat was prepared here. We will definitely come back!

I have grape leaves for 12!!! Ordered in euros via Lieferando. Because of the price, I didn't even ask if they were homemade. That should be a given for a restaurant and the price. Unfortunately, they actually come from a can and don't taste good at all. The store confirmed to me that they were canned and not fresh. I find that really annoying and rude.

The best Turkish restaurant in Mannheim! When you enter this restaurant you immediately feel at home. There is no smell, as if something was being cooked and grilled here, and you can walk out afterwards without worry. To eat: We came here unexpectedly in a group of six and were content with various delicacies from this restaurant. The different types of meat were excellently prepared. The side dishes are also very tasty, you can tell that a lot of effort goes into preparing the food. The waitresses were very polite and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit! Continued success!

Sehr guter Döner-Teller, schneller und freundlicher Service - und das schon seit so vielen Jahren.

Das Essen ist frisch und lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und die Preise passen. Was will man mehr? Dazu stimmt das Ambiente mit dem eindrucksvollen Aquarium. Natürlich kann man auch über Lieferando liefern lassen. Doch ich gehe am liebsten persönlich hin und genieße.

Für eine Glas schwarze Tee 3 € sehr teuer und eine Suppe wahr auch nicht so gut

Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich, das Essen war sehr lecker, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Ich habe den Seitan Yufka probiert, und noch anderen Köstlichkeiten. Was kann ich euch sagen: Es war fantastisch. Ich habe auch noch ein paar Süßigkeiten gekauft. Köstlich 🙌. Ich empfehle euch sehr, es zu probieren. Die Leute sind sehr freundlich, alles ist frisch und sauber.

War das zweite mal in dem Lokal. Muss sagen, dass es dieses Mal sehr gut war. Hatte das erste Mal, das falsche Essen bestellt. Bin froh, dass ich es nochmal geschafft habe, hinzugehen. Werde, wenn ich wieder in der Nähe bin auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen.

Der Seitan Döner ist richtig lecker und preiswert. Die Sauce macht den Unterschied. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man findet fast immer noch einen Platz.

Der wahrscheinlich kleinste Yufka/Dürüm den ich je gegessen habe und das für stolze 8,90€. Meine Arbeitskollegen und ich haben das „Restaurant“ quasi hungrig verlassen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier leider überhaupt nicht, geschmacklich ok. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Portion ist eine Frechheit für das Geld, vor allem den Becher Ayran in ein Glas kippen und dann 3,30€ dafür verlangen. Riecht nach Abzocke!

Das Essen ist sehr solide aber kein Gaumenschmaus. Würde ich von einem Schnellimbiss aber auch nicht erwarten. Dafür ist der Service echt einmalig! Konstant (über mehrere Besuche hinweg) super freundliche Mitarbeiter, die das Essen (Falafel-Teller) teils schon 3 Minuten nach Bestellung hingestellt haben. Es wird immer gefragt ob ich Kostenlos Fladenbrot dazu haben möchte! Während dem Essen kann man die Fische im riesigen Aquarium, den TV mit NTV-Nachrichten oder die Menschen auf der Fressgasse beobachten. Gezahlt wird einfach beim gehen am Dresen. Die Jungs wissen meistens, was man hatte 🙂

Sehr schönes Restaurant, Ambiente perfekt gestaltet, Mitarbeiter durchgehend nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen hat vielleicht bssl mehr liebe gebraucht ansonsten mega lecker. Und paar Tage danach sogar gar keine MagenprobIeme gehabt, gerne esse ich dort wieder

ich habe einen Dürüm bestellt und verlangte ausdrücklich scharfe Sosse. Erhalten habe ich süsssauer. Das Personal bedient sofort. Das Restaurant ähnelt eher einer Kantine. Ein zweites Mal würde ich da nicht essen.

This is one of the best Turkish restaurants in Mannheim. The food is very good. On top of that the place is super clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I tried Adana and lamp shish kabap, chicken doner which were all very good. The chefs accommodate your requests. I also tried iskembe soup for the first time in my life here. This is a soup made of animal stomach so I was hesitant to try it before. Since the place was very clean and the chefs ensured that they wash and boil the stomach several times before actually cooking it, I thought this was the place to try this soup. I am very happy that I tried. It was super delicious. If you want to try something different, you should definitely try iskembe soup here.

Ich war mit meiner Freundin dort essen und das Essen war wirklich eine 10/10. Damit meine ich beide Teller. Ich hab auch bisschen was von meiner Freundin probiert und auch sie was von mir. Dafür, dass das kein persisches Restaurant ist, haben sie die Falafel aber sehr schmackhaft und gut hinbekommen. Auch der Service war top, sehr freundlich und hat uns auch nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundigt. Die Kollegen gingen auch untereinander sehr freundlich miteinander um und das hat man auch als Kunde zu spüren bekommen. Eine der angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Fleisch hat sehr knusprig und frisch geschmeckt, auch der Salat war nicht zu labrig und die Soße hatte eine sehr gute Konsistenz. Außerdem ist mir aufgefallen, wie sauber das Restaurant aussah, saubere Tische, Stühle und auch sauberes Arbeiten seitens der Mitarbeiter. Ich habe sehr lange nach so einem guten Restaurant gesucht und nun hab ich ihn gefunden. Hier her komm ich aufjedenfall wieder!!!
