Super delicious! Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly and professional service, and great value for money. The vegan seitan dishes are also delicious. 👍 Highly recommend!

We had a doner kebab with rice and salad. The plates were more than generously filled, and the food was excellent. The restaurant staff are also worth mentioning; they are extremely friendly. Highly recommended👍🏼

Seitan doner kebab... 🥙 Discovered it for the first time in Mannheim. Absolutely delicious! The seitan is cut into thin slices from the block and briefly heated. Very juicy and well-seasoned. Excellent and friendly service! Highly recommended.

Totally disappointed, we ordered a small meze plate, Rigatoni Vefa and a special, and chicken wings. Unfortunately, the meze plate tasted spoiled, and the bread was stale and had only been reheated. All in all, we wouldn't eat here twice.

The mystical nature of the place impressed me a lot and it is obvious that it is one of the rare restaurants.

They will get better and their human relations are very good.

I would actually give it 5 stars, but since the meat on the doner kebab plate didn't taste good, I'm unfortunately only giving it 4 stars.

I spontaneously stopped by Vefa Restaurant and tried the doner kebab plate with bread and ayran – absolutely delicious! The meat was well seasoned, the bread was nice and fresh, and the ayran was just as it should be. Friendly service, the portion was just right, and the price was right too. I'll be happy to come back when I need something quick and good.

I tried both the meat and the vegan doner. Both are very good. As someone who eats mostly vegan, I'm impressed by the vegan doner. I even liked the garnish better than the chicken doner. The latter focuses primarily on the meat from the apparently homemade rotisserie, allowing it to shine without drowning it in sauce. Definitely a treat for meat lovers, but I personally found it a bit bland compared to the vegan doner, as I've become unfamiliar with meat, but that's a matter of taste. The owner still works there and is pleasantly chatty without being intrusive.

Excellent and prices are a little high

The food wasn't good. I had a kebab with half-raw meat. The sauce wasn't good either. I won't go there again.

We were at the Vefa Restaurant in Mannheim today, and it was simply fantastic! The food was fresh and incredibly delicious, especially the meat dishes. The service was very friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is also cozy and inviting. We'll definitely be back!

The portions were large, but I found the prices a bit high. The food tasted solid/average—nothing special, but not bad either. One plus point is the cleanliness of the restrooms, which is always nice.

Very tasty vegan kebab and very friendly staff

We think €8.90 for a regular doner kebab and over €6 for a small plate of fries is outrageous! We paid about €20 for one doner kebab, one fries, and one 0.33 oz Coke Zero. The food was okay, but nothing special that would justify the price. No wonder the place is always empty! I wonder how a place like this can survive. Apparently, the owners don't rely on customers.

That was the most expensive kebab of my life, €9.50. It had chicken. I didn't know they also used mayo sauce for kebabs... I felt sick for three hours...

The vegan kebab was really delicious, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the ambiance leaves a bit to be desired, especially since it's quite dark. I would definitely come back for a snack.

I've been there many times for vegan kebab. I bought one with meat last night, the first time. I woke up around 4am tonight and definitely upset my stomach. I haven't had to throw up in about 20 years, and today it happened several times. That's exactly why I went to Vefa, because I've been there many times and everything was always okay. But after today never again!!!

This is a lovely restaurant a real pearl! The taste is absolutely unbeatable - juicy meat, freshly baked bread and perfectly balanced seasoning make every bite a pleasure. I recently visited Vefa and absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly tasty - especially the grilled dishes were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was simply top. You immediately felt welcome and in good hands. If you want to enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine in a warm environment, Vefa is the right place for you. Absolutely recommended!

Food wasn't that tasty and looked very sloppy. The vegan yogurt sauce was a mayo sauce, definitely came from a tube and there wasn't enough on the plate. We were particularly looking forward to a fresh vegan yogurt sauce. The salad on our kebab plate wasn't fresh either. Unfortunately we also had a hair in the glass which spoiled our appetite. An aquarium will no longer be necessary in 2025.

Food was too expensive for my opinion

I ordered a Verillteller for 40 euros through Lierando and it wasn't recommended, way too overpriced for what you get. In the end you have an adulterated kepab plate like a snack with more meat, of course, but without bread and salad and everything else that normally comes with it packaged separately. You don't have onion salad but red cabbage like the kebab man. EVERYTHING IS ALMOST COLD after almost 2 hours of waiting. Nope, that was probably nothing. BOSS YOU ARE GREEDY!

One of the best Turkish restaurants I know. From the outside you can order kebab, dürüm and the like at a counter like at a normal kebab shop and when you go in it is a full-fledged restaurant. The vegetarian and vegan options are a big plus. These are meant seriously here. You can order all dishes from the normal menu where it makes sense, vegetarian or vegan with seitan and wheat-based yoghurt.

Chicken skewer plate very good large portion. Price performance is right. Everything was clean and the meat was grilled very well.

I ate a portion of vegetarian İskender. It was very tasty and the portion is just right to fill you up.

I come from Mannheim and have eaten in every Turkish restaurant. Wefa is simply the tastiest and makes the best impression from a hygienic point of view.

A friend of ours in Mannheim invited us to taste Turkish cuisine. We each had a different dish. I liked the dish with vegetables, rice and lamb chops. The price of the dish is 28 euros. The 25 cl bottles of water cost 3.30.

Anyone who charges 3 euros for a simple tea has completely lost touch with reality. Unfortunately the kebab is just average. No recommendation

Simply recommended!!! We were in this restaurant yesterday, a total of 2 families with children, 10 people in total. We were, are extremely satisfied, the waitress was very attentive and friendly, she came every now and then and asked if everything was okay. Everything is freshly prepared here, the kebab meat was nice and spicy and well done. We also ordered something for our 2 little children, there was nothing left on the plate, our 2 little ones also really enjoyed it. We will definitely come here again.

Ordered kebab and dürem to take away. Service is friendly BUT; The food is absolutely underground. I have never tasted such bad Turkish food. Salad tomatoes with no taste, onions just bitter and that's the only thing you can taste. The meat is absolutely boring and without any seasoning. Both dishes were ordered without sauce. I am lactose intolerant and have been having stomach cramps and severe bloating ever since. The weekend was and is ruined. I would be ashamed to offer something like that to people. Stay away from the crap!!!! Maybe they are so friendly there because they know what is being sold there........

Hui. What can I say? For €6 I couldn't say no. I like eating kebab, but that has absolutely nothing to do with it. The meat is delicious. No question. But that was it. I like to eat it with carrot salad. 🤢 It really doesn't smell delicious. Like soaked in dishwashing liquid. The flatbread has a strange consistency. Soft like a sponge. Now that I'm reading it!? Did I get the right one? Sry, but make it taste better, add 1€ to it and then it tastes good too. Drive to Apolda/Thuringia and enjoy it. Allow 30-45 minutes of waiting time. Then you know what a kebab is.

My favorite in Mannheim, I go to VEFA for lunch every week with my department. Clear recommendation. The prices are really fair for such large portions. The staff is always polite and you are always welcomed and said goodbye with a smile. No matter whether meat, fish, vegan, vegetarian, you can always find something delicious and fresh here!

I've experienced everything in my life but I've never experienced someone begging for a restaurant Today I was sitting across from the restaurant and a young man came up to me (broken English) and asked me if I would help him and buy him food, which I did and paid him Afterwards I see that the young man didn't take the food with him When I ran over again and the boss asked why the man didn't take his food with him, He explains to me that he said he would be back in 5 minutes. Which of course is NOT TRUE I watched for more than 2 hours After about every half hour the boy came with another victim and made him pay and didn't take the food with him I caught the alleged beggar and asked him what it was supposed to be What came out in the end was that the boss of the restaurant arranged with the young person to get people and have them pay money and he got a commission for it

I ordered a chicken skewer plate with salad including rice and bread. The employee stood in front of the grill the whole time with a hair dryer and heated the temperature - you can imagine it - the meat on the outside wasn't even cooked through on the inside! Meat not cooked through You could really see the lettuce and carrots rotting. Fresh bread is prepared here, it is cool-frozen bread that is warmed up and tastes like nothing! Not recommended!

There are great vegan alternatives here. However, the dining room is not that nice, I find the light rather unpleasant and it all looks a bit like an old snack bar. Staff is very nice.

Salad with a bit of seitan is not called a kebab. Price performance is right 0 Looks good, as soon as you bite into it you notice how they tried to fill 90% of the bread with salad. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't convincing either. The fact that the price is even higher than stated is the final straw. Would never come again. A recommendation to stay away from here.

We ordered black tea twice, I normally expect the standard typical Turkish small tea glasses in a Turkish restaurant. Normal cups came. Then the shock: €6 for two teas. In downtown Mannheim I get a cappuccino from the portafilter machine for 2.70. So extortionate prices...
