I was here with my friends repeatedly for my birthday. The owner and his entire team are incredibly warm. The quality of the food is simply great. Perfect for spending a nice evening with your loved ones and having a good time. I'm always happy to come back to you!

The best place for food and drinks!

We rented the place for a birthday party. It was a culinary highlight. Kritos spoiled us with a varied menu. The special features of Greek cuisine and the excellent meat made my guests rave. An evening with strong service and culinary potential: The service was impeccable - attentive, charming and always present. The starters were appealing, although the taste was rather solid. The main courses were convincing in terms of taste, even if the moussaka was a bit lukewarm and the game goulash was too salty. It's a shame that the dishes came with a delay. There is still a bit of room for improvement in prices here. Overall, definitely recommended! ☺️

Very unusual Greek restaurant for German standards. Focus on dishes that actually exist in Greece, so much more than the typical meat platters. Very nice staff and tasteful interior. Table reservation in advance is definitely necessary.

For people with Greek roots, this is a piece of home in Mannheim. The taste of many dishes reminds me of my grandmother. I read a review here "if you're expecting a classic Greek, you're in the wrong place" and had to smile a bit because that's exactly what you'll find here.. also "classic" Greek food and non-Germanized dead grilled meat.. keep it up! It's great what you offer in terms of service and what you bring to the plate!!

It's a very classy Greek restaurant with delicious food, unfortunately small portions and corresponding prices. Anyone expecting a classic Greek is wrong here. For me personally, it's not the restaurant I like to eat at.

The Kritos restaurant in Mannheim is an absolute discovery for me and undoubtedly the best Greek restaurant in the area. As soon as we entered, we were warmly greeted by the boss personally, which immediately created a very welcoming atmosphere. The service was extremely attentive and friendly throughout the evening, without seeming intrusive. However, the highlight was definitely the food. Every course was a taste explosion - unusual dishes that surprised not only with their excellent quality, but also with creative combinations and new tastes. From classic Greek flavors to modern interpretations, it was all there and simply delicious. If you want to experience authentic Greek cuisine at the highest level, you can't ignore Kritos. A clear recommendation!

Very nicely decorated shop with delicious food; The highlight was the incredibly hospitable service and the warm atmosphere. Even if it is a bit more expensive (but absolutely appropriate for the quality of the food!), we would happily come back.

We registered in advance by phone with a larger group. We were immediately given suitable suggestions for our own table, food and drink selection. We had a large selection of meze and for the main course tomahawk steak - top quality! - ideally adapted to the number of people. The service is very accommodating. The ambience exudes a fresh and warm holiday look. We all felt very comfortable and had a great evening!

Complete success! We went to Kritos on Whit Monday on the advice of a good friend of ours and were absolutely thrilled! Nice atmosphere, super friendly service and the food is simply amazing! Fresh, tasty and simply delicious. The changing menu is also very interesting, as we understand the chefs create a new menu every 4 weeks. Simply great!

The Greek gods couldn't have feasted better! For the first time we stumbled into this inviting restaurant with a Mediterranean atmosphere and tried our way through the meze menu. Attentive service, thoughtful dishes - a full recommendation!

Love this place! The owner and staff is so friendly, they always smile and find time to chat with guests. The food is great! Very tasty, with perfectly calibrated spices. If my „chicken only fan” daughter said that Kritos Meze & Wine Bar steak is now her favourite meal, that is a 5 star place. ☺️ I definitely recommend it and will always come back. 🫶

The perfect choice for our Father's Day dinner yesterday! The high ceilings and spaced tables create a really relaxed atmosphere. The tables outside are of course also recommended when the weather is nice, although every now and then a car drives along the adjacent street. We were recommended Iberico skewers and stuffed grape leaves as a starter. The skewers in particular have a very full-bodied, meaty grilled flavor and the dip that went with them was to die for. For the main course, my father and I had a kind of stuffed poultry roll with bulgur that tasted very authentic and was really tender. My mother had a dry aged rump steak with grilled side dishes, which is probably a house specialty. At the end we were kindly given a few ouzo on the house. We paid around 150 euros for 3 people and were able to eat really well and with high quality. A successful evening!

Very creative Greek cuisine, nice selection of meze and very good wines!

This restaurant is not like the other Greek restaurants. Here you will find traditional Greek cuisine, some dishes are very creative. We would recommend the grilled octopus, which is fresh and tastes great. They have very good Greek wines too. Prices are a little higher than others but the quality absolutely justifies that.

I've eaten here three times and each time I'm very happy and full after eating. The service is very friendly and pleasant. The food is delicious and has good quality. Lots of choice for vegetarians too. I can only recommend the restaurant!

A restaurant where you can ignore the menu and tell the owner you'll let him decide. I don't do that often, and it's often not accepted. We didn't regret it here. The food was excellent in terms of taste and quality, and the price-performance ratio (approx. 85 euros for 2 people including 4 glasses of wine) impressed us, as did the wine selection. If you are looking for a slightly different Greek restaurant, far from gyros and fries, but rather the equivalent of Spanish tapas, this is the right place for you. The interior is also very special and perfectly rounds off the great overall concept. Since the first review, we have been here several times over the years and have always been very impressed.

The quality of the meze is great and it is also beautifully prepared. We tried 5 different dishes (all perfect for sharing) and everything was great. Very good wines. The service is perfect, even on the first visit you are treated like old friends.

Unfortunately the portions are too small and completely overpriced. I don't want to know how much the courts will cost after the VAT increase. It's a shame that only a few people can afford to eat out anymore.

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Allein die Meze sind ein Wiederkommen wert, dazu die hervorragenden Gerichte und der exzellente Service. Unser Spitzentip für hervorragende Küche.

Ich war Tapas essen und lasst mich euch erzählen: Das Essen war wirklich ein Gaumenschmaus! Ich kann euch das Baklava zum Nachtisch empfehlen. Der Service ist auch top! Egal welche wünsche man hat die Bedienung versucht sie so gut es geht zu erfüllen. Das Restaurant ist auch sehr schick eingerichtetet. Insgesamt eine sehr tolle Erfahrung! 4/5 Sterne gibt es nur weil es schon sehr teuer war aber falls man einen besonderen Abend mit seinem Partner/Freunde haben möchte, dann kann ich euch das empfehlen :)

Das Essen ist wirklich besonders. Alles sehr fein, liebevoll angerichtet, Genuss pur. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, Familienbetrieb, man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden zuhause.

Ich bin nun seit längerer Zeit Stammgast bei Kritos. Dies hat relativ einfache Gründe. Das Essen ist herrausragend gut! Nicht das billigste aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt. Die Qualität der Waren ist einfach immer top. Des Weiteren ist der Service und die Freundlichkeit sowie das Ambiente immer ein Grund wieder zu kommen. Ein Lieblingsgericht kann ich kaum nennen da es soviel davon bei Kritos gibt :-)...ich bekomme schon wieder Hunger beim schreiben :D

Finde ich die richtigen Worte, für dieses mega Restaurant??? 😍 Das beste griechische Restaurant das ich kenne. Die Kreativität in der Küche ist ist der Hammer. Die Ideen von der Speisekarte, die sich immer mal verändert ist so cool, es ist einfach unfassbar. Man muss dort hin. Man kann es nicht beschreiben. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und gut durchdacht. 👍 sehr Edel vom Essen wie auch alles drum herum. Es ist ein Muss, dort hinzugehen .👍👍👍

Wir essen in Deutschland eigentlich nicht gerne griechisch, weil das mit traditioneller griechischer Küche nichts zu tun hat. Aber das Essen im Kritos ist 1a mit Sternchen. Wirklich sehr, sehr gut. Und der tolle Service kommt noch hinzu. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Katerina & Carsten

Went to Kritos last night for dinner. Decided to get Meze and share between the 4 of us. First round we ordered 6 dishes. Delicious! Nice to have the variety and each and every dish was super enjoyable. I felt like it would be impossible to leave full, but surprisingly with another round of 3 dishes we all left happy and full. Really good Greek food. Slightly pricey, but worth it. The restaurant itself is tastefully furnished and decorated.

Vergiss alles was Du an griechischen Restaurants kennst. Der Laden ist nicht billig aber sehr gut!!!

Das essen war sehr sehr gut! Ein ganz besonderes Griechisches Lokal! Weg von nullachtfünfzehn hin zu Delikatessen!!! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam und scheuen sich nicht auch mal vor oder nach der Bestellung noch ein, zwei minütchen sich mit einem zu unterhalten! An Wochenenden am besten reservieren!

Wirklich sehr guter und innovativer Grieche mit leckeren Meze

Wir waren mit 18 Personen geschäftlich bei Kritos und ich kann nur sagen...Das war der Hammer! Er empfing mich an dem Abend und machte mir den Vorschlag, dass er einfach für uns diverse Speisen etc. zusammenstellt. Ich habe mich darauf eingelassen und es war unglaublich, was hier den ganzen Abend auf den Tisch gezaubert wurde. Es hat alles vorzüglich geschmeckt und der Service war auch sehr sehr gut. Es wurde immer Wein und Wasser nachgeschenkt. Wir konnten uns gemütlich zurücklehnen und den Abend genießen. Alles lief von alleine. "Mehr muss das nicht sein"

Super griechisches Restaurant mit sehr leckeren griechischen Tapas und einem umfangreichen Wein-Angebot. Inhaber und Personal arbeiten ganz offensichtlich mit Leidenschaft und machen gerne trockene Späße. Phänomenal.

Kritos und Nico empfangen und bewirten ihre Gäste herzlich und wie alte Freunde. Ich haben ALLE Meze probiert und alles war gut. Fantastisch auch das Brot, welches warm, gut geölt und gewürzt den Tisch erreicht. Nicht billig, sondern preiswert. Qualitativ ganz weit vorn, das Thomahawk Steak ein Traum.

23.9.23 ein griechisches restaurant der anderen art... 🥰🥰🥰 sehr engagierter, zuvorkommender griechischer inhaber mit anspruch. unkonventionelle küche, mit ausgefallenen und köstlichen griechischen speisen. abwechslungsreiche weinkarte. sehr gute qualität der rohstoffe. wertige preise. sehr ansprechendes ambiente. gäste aller couleur. wohlfühlatmosphäre. kleine marktecke/kühltheke mit griechischen produkten aller art zum mitnehmen. und nicht zu vergessen niko...eine bedienung, die ihresgleichen sucht...🤩🤩🤩 ein empathischer meschenfreund mit hervorragender produktkenntnis bzgl. wein/speisen, der eine wohlfühlaura verströmt...😍😍😍 macht weiter so...☺️☺️☺️

Vegetarier, wie gerne Fleischesser, haben eine Auswahl. Der Empfang und die Freundlichkeit ist griechisch und sprichwörtlich sehr freundlich. Das Personal ist auch bei vollem Haus engagiert und freundlich. Die Bestellungen kommen im angemessenen Zeitrahmen. Eine Flasche Riesling von der Winzergenossenschaft Herxheim am Berg ist preiswert. Der Preis des Essens insgesamt war auf aktuellem Niveau. Wir werden nochmals das Restaurant demnächst besuchen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker ohne Frage. Die Preise richtig unverschämt im Verhältnis zu der Menge, die serviert wird - so unverschämte Preise, dass man die Freundlichkeit des Personals schon fast als ein Belächeln auffassen könnte!!! Schade, dass aus diesem Grund keiner von uns dieses eigentlich sehr schöne gemütliche Lokal weiter empfehlen wird.
