I didn't like it because it was self-service. But the place is nice and has two floors. The pizza dough is very thick and hard. The interior is nice, and the restrooms are very clean. That's why I gave it three stars.

Our group of six was served six grappas, even though no one had ordered them. The drinks we actually ordered only arrived after the meal. Aside from that, the service was very impersonal and unreliable. Why can't we just order from one waiter? Group ordering doesn't work at all with different mobile phones. All in all, 0 out of 5.

Never again! We were there with a large group (we had booked in advance) for dinner on the evening of November 11th. It was trade fair week, and the place wasn't exactly packed. The staff was understaffed and couldn't keep up. The food arrived about 45 minutes after we ordered, in a completely chaotic manner. There was no sign of our drinks. A group next to us had the same experience. The drinks finally arrived 15 minutes before closing time, by which time almost everyone had finished eating. The shift manager assured us that we would find a solution at the register. However, he was sitting at a table next to us, eating, when we paid. The cashier showed no understanding and demanded the full amount of over €300! As "compensation," the shift manager then retrieved six cups from the cellar. Outrageous! I have never experienced such terrible service!

A very nice restaurant with great interior design and a pleasant atmosphere. I'm glad there's still a Vapiano in Hanover; unfortunately, they're becoming rare these days. One small suggestion for improvement: It would be more hygienic if the employees wore gloves while preparing food. Otherwise, absolutely recommended!

I'm lost for words! I don't know where to begin. We walk in with empty stomachs, order through the website, and get our drinks, then the shock starts: fire alarm... This restaurant has absolutely no idea about emergency situations! First, nothing happens, while the extremely annoying alarm continues to blare. A waiter comes to us and says, "Hey, calm down, don't worry, the stove goes crazy sometimes." I'd definitely chime in. There's a friendlier way to go, with more understanding that the food will arrive later, understanding that it's super loud, but well, everyone was probably shocked. But what doesn't work is to say everything's fine until everything's quiet and everyone's sent out. Leave the drinks alone, but the main thing is that you still pay for the terror with the overpriced prices afterwards. Even if I ignore the fact that no one was evacuated, compensated, or respected, I can't think of anything good about the place—it's just a terrible atmosphere!

Simply delicious, whether it's pizza, pasta, or anything else. Plenty of choice, and prices are perfectly reasonable. Order either at the counter and then get a number to pick up (be it drinks or food) or directly at your table. It's more convenient to order at the table with the QR code, as you can also reorder, and the service will bring it directly to your table. I can't complain; I'll just go there more often!

A piece of Italy in the heart of Hanover! 🇮🇹🍝 I've been to many Vapianos, but the one in Göttingen is truly exceptional. As soon as you walk in, you smell the scent of fresh basil, garlic, and freshly baked bread – simply wonderful! The team is super warm, attentive, and manages to remain relaxed and friendly even when it's busy. You can tell they work with passion. The pasta is prepared right in front of your eyes, perfectly al dente – and the ingredients taste incredibly fresh. My absolute favorite: Pasta Scampi e Spinaci with a hint of chili – simply wow! 🔥 The ambiance is also modern yet cozy – ideal for lunch with friends or a relaxed dinner. If I could, I would give it 6 out of 5 stars. A clear recommendation – everything is just right here! 👏✨

Only the pinsa is available gluten-free. Ordering is possible at the table via QR code, and the food is brought to you. However, it's lukewarm to cold, the arugula is already dried out, and drinks only arrive after you request them and too long after the food arrives. The music in the restrooms is almost club-like. It's a shame; it used to be much better.

Unfortunately, a hugely disappointing visit. Despite the almost empty restaurant, the tables weren't wiped down. Ordering here is only possible via terminals or by scanning a QR code with your phone. After my partner and I placed our orders at the same time, his food arrived significantly earlier than mine. I noticed the same thing at the neighboring table. I had the feeling that shortly after my partner received his food, a woman walked past us with the exact same order as mine. However, she got her salad immediately. My order wasn't prepared correctly; I ordered my food spicy, and the salad only arrived after I asked for it. There were no napkins at the table. For two main courses, the waitress only served us one. It honestly makes you not want to come back to the restaurant. I remembered Vapiano as being much better. The pasta was fine with a bit of seasoning, but my partner found the pinsa to be too dry and tasteless. The restrooms were clean. I also wonder if the doll glasses we got with our Coke were always this small.

Two of us came here to try it out. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and mushroom risotto from the vending machine. Because of the high prices, we opted for a "lemon soda" from the house brand, more on that later. We paid cash at the register for a total of €32.40 and were able to take the drink with us in two very small glasses. Of course, we tried the drink right away, but it wasn't a soda, but an iced tea that tasted like cold green tea with a drop of lemon. Very disappointing; perhaps they should change the name again so that other lemon soda lovers don't fall for it. After a few minutes, we had to get the food ourselves!! There wasn't even table service like at the Golden M. The food looked okay; the pasta and rice came with bread, which wasn't necessary, but it was okay. The spaghetti carbonara was more like pasta with a cheese and cream sauce, bacon, and random pieces of onion, like it came out of a Maggi-fix bag with the same name. On top of that, the pasta was overcooked, which made things even worse. Desperate to make it taste good, we tried to add pepper, but nothing came out of the pepper mill, which was completely unnecessary. The chili sauce wasn't spicy either, so if you're looking for something with flavor, look elsewhere. Now for the risotto funghi: The rice wasn't cooked well, the mushrooms were so-so, and overall, like the carbonara, it lacked flavor, very disappointing, so flavor really isn't their thing :( The bread was definitely not fresh from today, so not that convincing either. Overall, a complete flop, honestly a disappointment; McDonald's or Burger King could definitely do better. And what can we learn from this? Next time, we'll definitely go back to Losteria!!

Please read to the end! The gluten-free pinsa is amazing. I've eaten here countless times and have never had any complaints. Unfortunately, that's not always the case when you have a disability. I am and will remain a regular here. Four years later: So, now I have to correct something here. After Vapiano's new concept, both staffing and quality have declined significantly. Last Friday, they had Schär pizza dough that was gluten-free; the biscuity-like base was no longer fluffy. I'm saying goodbye to the shop in Hanover.

Today I experienced one of the most unfortunate and unpleasant situations in a restaurant. As always, I arrive and order my meal, spaghetti and water. Shortly after, my drink arrives. Half an hour passes, and the food still hasn't arrived, so I'm starting to get worried. After 50 minutes, I go to the manager and ask if there's a problem. I show him my order from my phone, and he tries to fool me and trick me. He says the problem is that I haven't paid, even though you can pay after your meal, as I've done before. Then, an hour later and without having eaten, he asks me to pay. They made a serious mistake, and on top of that, they're lying to me and trying to blame me. One of the employees comes and tries to defuse the situation by admitting he made a mistake. But the other employee continues to act arrogantly. In the end, I leave without eating, having wasted an hour for nothing. Simply awful.

Unfortunately, this branch isn't what it used to be. The overall quality has declined significantly. The restroom was unpleasantly dirty, and the two seats we chose weren't clean either. The least they could do is have the staff wipe down the tables as soon as customers leave. It's a shame, because this restaurant was once our favorite place.

I can't recommend it; there were five of us there. I ordered a pizza with mozzarella, but it was missing, and the pizza tasted of honey. The pesto with pasta tasted like a €2 pesto from Rewe. The service was unfriendly and seemed annoyed, and we got four slices of bread for five people. 🫡 It definitely wasn't what we expected, and in some cases, it wasn't worth the price.

Tables weren't particularly clean. I had to ask them to wipe them down. We sat outside. It's downtown, not a particularly nice environment, which isn't their fault. Just a quick stop. I wouldn't stay there for much longer. The two of us were there for the Fete de la Music, for two drinks each, because a band was playing nearby.

I ordered food and drinks via "table ordering." I was assured that "everything would be brought to the table." After 40 minutes, neither the food nor anything to drink was at the table. After checking with the restaurant, I was assured that the food would arrive. This also happened after another 10 minutes. Then: I had ordered burrata as a topping for the pasta, but it was forgotten. The pasta was almost cold when the food finally arrived. The food was there, but the drinks were still missing. I went back to the restaurant and asked, and only then did I get my drinks.

The food was good, but the (digital) ordering system, especially with several people/in a group, is completely impractical. As is so often the case, the food arrives at the table in completely different ways; while some have already finished their pasta dish, others are just getting their pizza/pinsa. The staff (yes, they still exist; someone has to bring the food to the table) were often a bit confused and got mixed up with the tables. When I compare Vapianos in different cities, I notice that almost every branch follows a different system (from ordering, to self-pickup or table service, to payment). No one has to understand that. In conclusion, I can say the food is good, but everything else isn't.

We've been loyal Vapiano guests for over 10 years and have probably been there over 100 times – which made our last visit all the more disappointing. I had ordered spelt pasta, but was served wheat pasta with no indication that they were out of spelt pasta. When I asked, I was told they were sold out – although I could still select it at the ordering terminal, which I was able to demonstrate. A simple advance notice would have saved a lot of trouble, especially since the wrong ingredient can have serious consequences for some people. Despite the mistake, we had to pay full price. We were at least allowed to take the uneaten portion with us in a box for 50 cents – a planned lovely dinner turned into a sad meal for one person while the other had to watch. We also found it a shame that you still pay full price for a carbonara without bacon, and if you want some tomatoes instead, you're charged an extra €1.50 – for just four small pieces. What struck us most: There was no apology or genuine consideration. The friendly and attentive service of the past seems to be a thing of the past. It's a shame – we really used to love Vapiano.

I haven't been here in a long time, and I have to say I preferred the old system. You order via QR code at the table (or at the terminal inside), which I think is fine, but do you have to go straight to the cashier and pay? You're also asked to enter a tip amount both in the app and again when paying. I like to tip if I'm satisfied with the service. But you can't estimate that at that point because no service has been provided yet. And if I want to reorder something at some point, the process starts all over again? Things don't always make things worse! If I don't want service, I'll go to McDonald's, but then they don't give a tip either. Our food was good, drinks were cold, and glasses were warm (they just came out of the dishwasher).

Price-performance ratio is actually decent, especially for a small appetite. Given the price and the quick service, I can also understand the lack of culinary quality. When we arrived at the shop, we sat down at a table with eight friends. We ordered online. The pizzas that arrived were incorrectly placed even though we had entered a name beforehand, and two pizzas were missing. When we asked about it, the head chef seemed annoyed but agreed to bring the pizzas back. Only one pizza was brought, and it was the wrong one at that. After the head chef signaled to us that we could eat the wrong pizza, we did so and waited again for the missing pizzas. When he came back 20 minutes later, he had one pizza with him, but another was still missing. When we asked about it, the head chef replied that the pizza he had brought before was the eighth one, and now everyone had one, so we should be happy. Completely baffled and about to speak to the manager to complain, another head chef came and brought the missing pizza. We left the store with mixed feelings after 1:30 hours when the most outrageous incident in my restaurant history occurred. The cashier asked if we had paid online. When we answered yes, he looked at his screen. When he saw that no tip had been given due to the lack of service, he asked in all seriousness whether we had enjoyed the two free pizzas and whether we were just looking for free food.

I always loved coming here because there's a wide selection and everyone is happy, but last time the pinsa wasn't good; the dough was just too heavy, as if it hadn't been left to rise long enough. Today is a complete disaster. The concept has changed; you order via browser, but once you've selected something, you can't change it, even if the order hasn't been submitted. They simply put cheese on my pasta, even though I hadn't ordered any. Then they made me new pasta, and it was still half-raw; no one needs to sell it to me as al dente. I don't know if there's new management, but things have been going downhill for months. That was probably my last visit, and I'll advise friends and acquaintances not to come here again.

It used to be cool, but now it's rather disappointing. The staff often seems overwhelmed and not particularly friendly. Wait times are long even when the store is half empty. The quality of the dishes varies greatly - sometimes okay, sometimes completely carelessly done. Plus the prices are now really high for what you get. The atmosphere is modern, but somehow uncomfortable. It's a shame, the concept had potential, but it no longer seems contemporary.

We ordered whole wheat pasta with pesto. The noodles were undercooked and very crunchy. We had specially ordered chilli, parmesan and garlic oil, none of which was in the meal and was completely forgotten. The pesto itself was very bland. Very unsatisfactory for €11 per dish.

I was just there to order pasta to take away. Everything has become super impersonal, you are not greeted, neither in the entrance nor when you pick up your meal. There was very little going on in the restaurant itself, two guests were already sitting at the table with their food, a group of three people ordered before me. When I unpacked my food at home, I first noticed that my bruschetta had just been thrown into a box, so to speak, to be put together myself. Then with the pasta carbonara I noticed two unpleasant things: some of the pasta was still hard and it was absolutely not seasoned. Because there was hardly anything to do in the restaurant and I simply paid almost €30 for two simple dishes, one of which I was allowed to put together myself and the other was allowed to eat with the noodles still hard, I only get 1 star. Was there last time. I wouldn't be surprised if the restaurant no longer exists soon.

The store cannot cope with the flow of visitors. When ordering digitally at the table, options are first displayed that are not available on site (types of pasta, kids' menu), then the payment function does not work - and Paypal seems to be foreign here. So off to the ordering terminal, of which there are only two for this huge store. So: stand in line, wait forever on an empty stomach until the guests in front of you have fought their way through the menu. At Burger King, the terminal works because the menu is clear and the average visitor has their favorite. But here the system fails completely because the claim to offer authentic Italian dishes is entirely based on "Do I want burger A, B or C? And should the fries be straight or twisted?" contradicts. And then the price: €15 for a portion of pasta - for which I have to wait 40 minutes, although I can no longer withdraw from the order due to the previous payment at the terminal - in contrast to a real Italian restaurant. And while I stand at the counter without any information and wait for my food, I can listen to Arabic conversations among the chefs, which is not appropriate in an open show kitchen. Bye, Vapiano.

Tragedy. At 7 pm there was no pasta and no information about its absence. You can place an order in the system. The dining experience was terrible. We placed our order and waited for an hour and a half without any response. When we went to ask the staff, we were told that they didn’t have enough noodles — but they never informed us proactively, leaving us waiting for nothing. And when we confronted them, they said we hadn’t paid and they couldn’t find our order information. So here’s the question — if they couldn’t find our order, how did they know they were out of noodles? I just can't understand how people can operate without using their brains. The dining experience was a disaster. We ordered and waited an hour and a half with no response whatsoever. When we asked the staff about it, they suddenly said that there wasn't enough pasta - but no one told us beforehand. We waited completely in vain. And when we tried to clarify this we were told we hadn't paid and they didn't have an order from us in the system. This begs the question: How could they know that there wasn't enough pasta when they supposedly didn't have our order? It's a mystery to me how one can work like this without reason.

I recently visited this restaurant and I'm sorry to say that my experience was less than satisfactory. Despite the fact that the place wasn't full, I had to wait an extremely long time for my food. When it finally arrived, parts of my order were incorrect and ingredients that I had selected at the terminal were missing, but the employees were unable to provide insight. I didn't like the food itself either, which only added to the disappointment. Overall it was a frustrating visit and I can't say I'll be back. I hope that the restaurant will work on these points in the future to improve guest satisfaction.

Like Mc. Donald's, only worse and more expensive. As with all fast food shops, you order at the terminal. When you pay at the terminal you are cheekily asked for a tip. for what? The order is put on a pager and then you can look for a free, reasonably clean table and pick up your food at the pick-up station when the alarm goes off. But you have to pick up drinks separately from the bar opposite. The fact that two dishes + a drink cost just under 40 euros doesn't fit with the service and overall feeling. If you want to order your food at the terminal and pick it up on a tray, you can go to Mc. Donald's better off. If you want to eat a cozy Italian meal for 20 euros per person, you should look for a cozy Italian restaurant in your area. Pizza at Vapiano is now called Pinsa and is only half the size. Dough is a little thicker than a classic pizza, and of course there is only half as much topping on it. The price is the same, a rogue who thinks evil of it. In addition: The feedback from Vapiano that the concept aims to have the food ready for several people at the same time is really effective. Pizza and pasta were next to each other at the same time when picked up. What is again left out is the fact that, at least when I ordered, the pizza was probably ready earlier and was only lukewarm when I picked it up at the counter.

The negative reviews are completely incomprehensible to us. We were there as a large group for breakfast and had made a reservation in advance. We were given our own area with a private buffet. We had a fantastic view of Lake Maschsee. All our guests were very satisfied and wanted to book the venue for their own parties.

A very nice, traditional Italian restaurant – perfect service, a peaceful atmosphere, and the food is of a very high, delicious standard. It was lovely – we had our birthday dinner there. We'd gladly return.
