A very nice, traditional Italian restaurant – perfect service, a peaceful atmosphere, and the food is of a very high, delicious standard. It was lovely – we had our birthday dinner there. We'd gladly return.

The food was good. The portions were relatively small, though. The servers were nice, but very inattentive, and we had to wait a long time before we could order or get a menu. It's a large room, and accordingly loud. On top of that, the music blasts through the room, and it's unbearably hot. I've been there a few times, and if you sit halfway outside, it's fine. We've only received the attention of the restaurant once, even though we usually order two or three courses. We weren't even greeted by anyone.

Went to lucca for a birthday dinner. Service was great. The staff are welcoming and restaurant has a really nice ambience. Its been hard for me to find a good restaurant in hannover with such high standards. Tried the parmesan wheel pasta with shrimps and truffle, tasted amazing.

I ate there with a friend today. I had to return my food because it was cold (lukewarm). They told me I'd get a new one. Unfortunately, it was the same, just a bit more sauce. Never again. The staff was unfriendly.

We were hungry in the afternoon after a late Sunday breakfast. Luckily, Lucca is one of the few Italian restaurants that serves pasta in the afternoon. Our two dishes, one of which was from the daily specials, arrived very quickly and were beautifully presented. The friendly waiter also recommended a special tartuffo for dessert, which was also very delicious 😋. We liked the seating on the terrace.

I'm sure the restaurant is good and the food is delicious, as I visited it on the recommendation of friends. Unfortunately, I had to wait 20 minutes for the menu, which is far too long. I don't know if it was because they were understaffed or if the employees simply weren't paying as much attention to their customers. I hope the service will be faster next time.

The servers welcomed me so nicely, all had lovely smiles ☺️! I went with my friend’s mother and she was a local for Lucca. I ordered one of the catches of the day: the Octopus with Black Tiger and salad 🥗 🐙 IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! When I go and visit again Hannover, I will be getting that if possible, especially as a person who doesn’t like Italian food…

We visited the restaurant during the weekday afternoon, which at first glance seemed to offer plenty of comfortable seating, both inside and outside. When we chose the table we liked best, we discovered that it hadn't been wiped down after the last guest. The same was true for tables 2 and 3. Table 4 was sufficiently clean. It goes without saying that such an appearance creates a very poor first impression, especially considering the restaurant's price structure. The food and drinks were quite expensive, but enjoyable. When we left, the neighboring tables still hadn't been cleaned.

Very disappointing food. The Margherita pizza was one of the worst I've ever eaten. From the outside, the restaurant looks appealing—unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect.

I got the perfect pizza here, crispy baked, carefully topped, and at a reasonable price. The spaghetti with scampi was also excellent and well-seasoned. The service was attentive and friendly. Sitting outside behind the glass was pleasant. The interior is also nice and well-decorated. THANK YOU!

Every time I have the chance I visit it, it has a good variety of international cuisine, meats, fish and of course well-prepared Italian pasta.

We ate at the Italian restaurant last day. We were a group of four, two of whom were disabled and confined to wheelchairs. The waiter's greeting was very cold and dismissive, and we were informed that it was not possible to sit at the tables outside with our wheelchairs. After a brief discussion, however, we were offered a seat. We felt less warmly treated than the other guests. Our feeling was confirmed when, shortly after us, a woman with a walker asked for a seat. She was greeted very warmly, and the walker posed no problem for the waiter. The staff conversed in Italian and frequently glanced at us. It seemed to us as if they were trying to get rid of us quickly. When we asked for the bill, we were given it together without being asked. We found this very patronizing. Overall, an unpleasant experience.

Invited by friends, we were looking forward to our first visit to Lucca. A varied menu. A fish dish with a delicious leaf salad. A risotto dish without any decorations—after all, "the eyes eat too." So we ordered an additional leaf salad...a long wait. The dishes were delicious. BUT our service: Unfriendly demeanor; a withdrawn expression. The ordered mineral water wasn't opened. The guest's glass wasn't poured (a natural service gesture) left us astonished. The interior was barely occupied at the time. So the food was recommendable, but the treatment of the guests was disappointing. That's why we won't be visiting Lucca again.

If you don't like salt, it might be a bit too salty. But I liked it. The prices were reasonable. We'd be happy to come back.

We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered – the service was consistently very friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive. We immediately felt welcome and well looked after. I would particularly like to highlight the ambiance: The room is open, bright, and tastefully decorated, with a tranquil atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy your meal. And the food? Simply fantastic. Freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and perfectly flavored – you immediately notice that the cooking here is done with love. Whether it was the starter, main course, or dessert – everything was consistently delicious and of high quality. We will definitely be back and would happily recommend this restaurant – not only for the great food, but also for the particularly attentive team and the welcoming atmosphere. PS: Unfortunately, I couldn't post the video of the preparation of the tagliatelle on the cheese and with the truffles as a topping (Google Review doesn't allow it).

I went there today with my fiancée to eat. The service staff were a complete disaster. The man had grey hair and was a bit older. I asked him for garlic oil. He was very rude and said to say something like that a bit earlier next time. In an aggressive tone, a request to the boss. An employee like that is not suitable for the catering industry. You could give negative stars, then I would have given some. I have never seen anything like that before.

A good Italian restaurant in the heart of Hannover-Kirchrode. Friendly, attentive service, good food. Unfortunately, the cozy atmosphere is somewhat lacking. We sat outside from 6 p.m., and the traffic at the major intersection in front was quite distracting. The interior is very nicely decorated, but it's just a large room, again lacking a real sense of coziness.

The service was fast, it didn’t take long to wait for our food. It tastes also great, and we like it. It is one of less italian places where we would love to come again (as people who prefer asian food over western food).

The price-performance ratio is right. The food itself was also very tasty. The service was also perfectly fine. The ambiance is certainly debatable. It's a fairly large restaurant, so it's not really my cup of tea. But everyone has different priorities. Overall, though, it's definitely recommended, even with children.

Lucca is one of the best Italian restaurants I always enjoy visiting. From the always friendly and relaxed service to the excellent food and wine selection and the creative and delicious desserts, every wish is catered for. Highly recommended are the Lucca mixed antipasti platter and the truffle tagliolini straight from the Parmesan wheel. Also worth mentioning is the attentiveness of the staff and, in this case, the spontaneous creation of prawns to accompany the truffle Parmesan tagliolini. Highly recommended!

Simply a fantastic restaurant. The food was excellent, as was the ambiance. However, the staff took a while to serve us. This was probably due to the restaurant being very busy.

Two of us were just eating there. The prices immediately struck us as a bit higher than usual. After two minutes, cards arrived at the table... no greeting. 20 minutes later, a waiter came out again to take our order. A bit difficult with German, but manageable. We ordered pasta and pizza, along with drinks. After about 15 minutes, the food arrived. Spaghetti carbonara, estimated portion size 120 grams (price is €16.90) and pizza magherita plus gorgonzola and parma. Immediately upon being served, we asked the waiter if the spaghetti portion was a joke. He wasn't interested, and he just left. The pizza was large, fresh, and generously topped with good ingredients... a truly great Italian pizza - unfortunately, it hadn't been in the oven for a while, making it mushy and only lukewarm. Another waiter came back and asked if everything was okay... My colleague had already finished his four forksfuls of spaghetti... but he wasn't interested in our complaint either. When paying, my colleague was finally offered an espresso, which he politely declined because we wanted to leave quickly to get something to eat. Thanks, but definitely not again.

A very nice Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere - both with the high-quality furnishings inside and comfortably outside in the sunshine. The service was great, the service staff were extremely nice and funny. When it got dark, small table lamps were placed before us - great atmosphere. The pizzas are really big and not expensive.

Good afternoon, today I went to this restaurant without a reservation, a waiter named Ismet greeted me and said "wait" in a very rude tone, he gave a seat to someone else who came from Arlam even though there was no reservation and then he said we don't have a seat, what kind of place is this? Please think twice before coming here. Be in a good place with good people.

Pizza and tiramisu very good, nice service. Ravioli with asparagus delicious, but overpriced (26 euros for four ravioli and some draped asparagus). Next time I'll eat pizza too, it's quite reasonably priced.

We sat nicely, without tablecloths and it was relatively quiet. I found the food good but not overwhelming, a bit overpriced, but the crowning glory was the surcharge of €2.5 for a spoonful of Parmesan. So for me I will bring my parmesan with me in the future or avoid the restaurant 😀. Arrago

Had a great diavola pizza here. My girlfriend enjoyed the salmon dish. As far as Italian restaurants go, I found this a good option during my stay in Hanover. It was nice to find a restaurant at this level without having to go further into the city.

Went there with a larger group and felt unwelcome and ripped off from the start. You weren't allowed to get a card that had prices on it, let alone drinks. Overall, everyone just seemed stressed. One would have expected a completely different level of prices...

We were there on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was very busy, but unfortunately there was not enough ventilation and the air in the restaurant was not particularly pleasant. Although we were immediately escorted to our table, we were only served later and only when the conditions were at the next table anyway. When we took our orders we were hardly given a glance. For every additional order after the drink and food order, we had to draw attention to ourselves several times, and no one came on their own. The food was OK.

I had very tasty pasta, tossed in a parmesan wheel and garnished with fresh truffles. Very, very tasty dish prepared with a show.

A real highlight for lovers of Italian cuisine in Hanover - with honest service that delivers what it promises. Transparency and honesty are very important here: the waiters openly tell you when there is another cook at the stove, so you know exactly what to expect. Therefore thumbs up and 5 stars. We were asked three times if we wanted to eat here and three times we said we had ordered something. The price for the pizza is justified, but 20 euros for pasta that only fills half the box and at the end also half the plate seems very excessive. The spinach was distributed in knife-point sizes throughout the raviolis. The mushrooms and butter sauce were good, although a little too oily, but that's a matter of taste. Speaking of taste. This was hardly available, you had to look for it... even a pinch of salt didn't help.

A nice, cozy restaurant with super good food, nice service and wonderful wines. What more does the heart need? We were there for the first time and were thoroughly impressed. We'll be back.
