I've been a regular at Vapiano since I was younger and I'm always happy when I'm served by lovely Anja. She has been working here for years and you can tell how much passion she puts into her work. Her friendly and attentive nature makes every meal a special experience. Anja always makes you feel welcome - no matter how stressful things might be in the restaurant. Ordered online, first paid for the wrong order because the cashier didn't listen, wasn't informed about the change in my order because the ingredients weren't there, way too much chili without having ordered it, and then was bullied stupidly on the phone when I asked. Thank you, never again.

Many, many years ago, Vapiano was a favorite for pasta and pizza for me. The ordering system has now been switched from card booking and queuing before food is served or ordered to pagers and a digital ordering system. You can think of that what you want. If you have to take over the service yourself, in times of staff shortages, fine.... However, I find it outrageous to increase the price so steeply. The worst thing for me is that the taste of the food and the price-performance ratio were subpar. The Kinderpinsa was sticky bread dough with tomato sauce and cheese and two vegetable grains. Costs 2 euros in the supermarket. No taste, no quality. The child didn't want to eat the pinsa. The Pasta di Crema, supposedly with white wine, cream, mushrooms and parsley, was served with previously unspecified incredibly dry wholemeal pasta (the information only says spelled) and tasted like cream with Maggi. There was nothing to be found of white wine or balanced taste. Three half mushrooms and no trace of garlic, as well as three crumbs of cheese. And that for over 15 euros. 4.30 for a 0.33 Cola is exorbitant and the other guest's pasta was terribly dry and served with little sauce, although not quite as inedible as the cream pasta. Positive: Upon request, sauce was delivered, but unfortunately it still had a bad taste and was not edible. Conclusion: One of the most overpriced and worst dining experiences in Bonn for a long time, with after-effects of grumbling in the stomach and discomfort, no longer comparable to the old Vapiano and, on top of that, no service because service has been replaced by digital contact and self-service, the process of which you have to guess. Too bad.

The restaurant has a great ambience and the staff is also very friendly. However, the food is often undercooked. The pizzas were still raw dough and the pasta was still hard. Unfortunately, I can't recommend eating here because the staff didn't respond correctly to advice. I also think that the ordering system is not suitable for everyone, as it can be very stressful and time-consuming.

Not really comfortable, more of a large hall than a restaurant. A crisp 15 euros for a simple “everyday pizza” that only tasted average is brazen and too expensive. The drinks are also significantly too expensive and there is neither beer nor wine with the meal (at least not at this ordering machine). You order from a machine (it's one of several options, some can also order at the table using a QR code), get a pager and pick up your food from a counter as soon as the pager beeps and rattles. So the “service” is minimal and even though you do everything yourself and have to pick up your food from a counter, the ordering machine asks you to add a tip to the bill when you pay. No enjoyment, no experience. But it's endlessly expensive. Once and never again.

Unfortunately, Vapiano has declined quite a bit in recent years: Pizzas are now called Pinsen, are half the size and cost €10-15. It's probably ready-made dough, my pizza was baked far too short and was cold before the other dish was ready. There was chaos at the pickup point. Definitely no longer recommended! (The only cool thing is ordering via QR code.) Addition: Normally the reaction would be something like: "Sorry that we served you a cold (frozen) pizza, a plate of pasta and two drinks for 40 euros." Vapiano AI, on the other hand, cheekily claims that only fresh ingredients are used and the dough is made in-house...

I ordered a pinsa and bruschetta. In terms of quality, the whole thing was fine. The vegan selection is great. However, the ordering system is annoying and error-prone. But the prices are really outrageous and not in line with the market. High prices are okay, but then the portion size has to be right. Unfortunately nothing is right here.

I was completely amazed by Vapiano! The best pasta I've ever eaten - the chicken alfredo with extra champions is to die for. The perfect combination of tender chicken, creamy sauce and freshly prepared pasta makes this dish a true taste experience. The quality of the ingredients and the loving preparation are noticeable in every bite. Added to this is the pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. I highly recommend Vapiano and will definitely come back!

Today we visited the Vapiano in Bonn, Ollenhauerstrasse again after years. What was positive right from the start was that you can place your orders via a self-service terminal or QR code. When the dish is ready, you will be notified via cell phone or buzzer and can pick it up at the pick-up station. You order drinks from the waitress. About the food: The pinsa sticks we ordered as a starter were a bit too salty for our taste. However, the three dips that came with it - especially the guacamole - were very tasty. The pasta dish “All'Arrabbiata” was a bit weak on the chest and could have used a good splash of chili. A big disappointment was the Linguine Crema di Funghi (champions, onions, cream, white wine, parsley). The noodles stuck together and there was almost no sign or taste of the sauce. Cream? White wine? Niente! It felt like the dish only contained a single normal-sized champion, cut into wafer-thin slices. But the absolute highlight was the Pasta Carbonara Salmone❣️ Perfectly prepared bell pasta and smoked salmon mixed with a delicious carbonara sauce. Highly recommended. Finally, praise to the friendly and helpful service staff.

Heute besuchten wir nach Jahren wieder einmal das Vapiano in Bonn, Ollenhauerstraße. Positiv fiel gleich zu Beginn auf, dass man seine Bestellungen per SB-Terminal oder QR-Code aufgeben kann. Wenn das Gericht fertig ist, bekommt man via Handy oder Buzzer bescheid und kann es an der Pick-up-Station abholen. Getränke bestellt man bei der Servicekraft. Zum Essen: Die als Vorspeise bestellten Pinsasticks waren nach unserem Geschmack etwas zu salzig. Allerdings waren die drei dazu gelieferten Dips - besonders die Guacamole - sehr lecker. Das Pasta-Gericht “All'Arrabbiata” war etwas schwach auf der Brust und hätte einen ordentlichen Spritzer Chili mehr vertragen können. Eine große Enttäuschung waren die Linguine Crema di Funghi (Champions, Zwiebeln, Sahne, Weißwein, Petersilie). Die Nudeln kleben zusammen und von der Sauce war so gut wie nichts zu sehen und zu schmecken. Sahne? Weißwein? Niente! Gefühlt enthielt das Gericht auch nur einen einzigen Champion von normaler Größe, der in hauchdünne Scheibchen geschnitten wurde. Das absolute Highlight aber war die Pasta Carbonara Salmone❣️ Perfekt zubereitete Glöckchen-Nudeln und Räucherlachs vermengt mit einer köstlichen Carbonara-Sauce. Sehr zu empfehlen. Abschließend noch ein Lob an die freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Servicekräften.

Went there for lunch. The pasta was homemade, super tasty 😋, it's definitely worth coming back, had tagliatelle with salmon. Ordering by cell phone at the table is a bit difficult depending on the reception, but the waitress is happy to help solve the problem. I found Cola expensive, drinks in general a bit expensive.

Unfortunately there were no gluten-free products on offer. The salad was bland, the dressing had hardly any taste and they tried to make up for it with eight kilos of cheese. The toilets were dirty, wet and smelly and there were no paper towels or soap. All in all very disappointing.

A very nice vapiano space with ample seating and a nice ambiance (however the inside gets quite loud). The food was good and solid quality as usual, though the service was very bad with two people working in the kitchen and forgetting to make the buzzer go off even if the food was ready. Apart from the huge delay, the rest was great. One more note, the cheesecake with Nutella did not taste like Nutella or cheesecake, rather a vanilla mousse.

After a long time we were back in the Vapiano in a group of 6 people. We waited at reception for a while only to find out that the card/buzzer method was no longer available. So we ordered from the table, via QR code and browser. The ordering logic of group and individual orders may be useful for guests who eat here very often. The ordering process was just annoying for us, especially since we were hungry. Now the drinks should be brought. With 29 degrees outside, 26 degrees in the restaurant and a children's birthday party at the neighboring table, it was really long-awaited. After 20 minutes we trotted over to the counter ourselves... There, a completely overwhelmed bartender was close to a nervous breakdown. Many satisfied guests and an obviously ignorant colleague talked to him. Initially there were no washed glasses and one of our drinks from the menu had run out. Back at the table we waited for the text message indicating that the food was ready for pickup. SMS? Yes. Because a browser notification was not possible (probably due to the privacy and security settings 😉) of my browser. 55 minutes after ordering, the SMS finally came. We were allowed to walk off again, now to collect our food. All of this at prices that you would pay in a full-service restaurant... The food was exactly what was ordered. However, the Pinsa was almost impossible to cut, despite the scissors included. Let alone chew. A pasta dish had apparently been sitting for a long time and the noodles on the edge had dried out. You used to get one or two slices of bread with your pasta dish, but not today. Personally, the amount of sauce was far too small for me. Now it was time to pay. Googlepay, Sofortüberweisung or certain credit cards were offered via browser. No PayPal. So go to the checkout and pay there in the classic way using your EC card. In short: it was too loud, too warm, far too slow and, in relation to that, too expensive.

I haven't been here for a long time, but it was worth it! The ambience is still stylish and cozy. The ordering system has changed. You can either order at a terminal and take a token with you to the table, which will then report when the food is ready. Or, this is how we did it, you sit down at the table, scan the QR code at the table and order via the app, which then opens. Everyone can order individually, or you can create a group and add the others. The advantage here is that everyone receives their food at the same time. I was initially a bit skeptical about this method, but that was completely unfounded. It's really great and really easy! The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. We live a bit away, but will make a trip to Bonn more often. Happy to come back!

We ordered spaghetti. For example, I have Pasta Chicken Alfredo. Firstly, the wait to order took over 40 minutes. Then I got my food. Normally a chicken Alfredo has to have a lot of cream sauce. But I got spaghetti that was hard and inedible. Then I felt sick and had a stomach ache. There was also a lack of chicken and mushrooms. There was no cream sauce etc. So what I'm saying is it was a huge disaster!

We came in and were first told that you can order digitally here. In order to even get to the menu you have to enter data. Group name, then the individual names of the guests... You click through small pictures in the pasta and salad categories, the description of which you can only read after clicking on it and then click back again disappointed. Soft drinks were all only available in 0.3. 1l water bottles apparently sold out. On one of the rare menu flyers there were dishes that couldn't be ordered digitally and should have been ordered at the "Pinsa edition"? We got up and left annoyed and disappointed, which is why I give the food the usual 3 stars without trying it. A service is not available. The lady at reception was friendly but not trying hard and the overall atmosphere was neither cozy nor inviting. It's a shame, I used to enjoy going to Vapiano.

You look at the federal highway 9 and can drink a cola that costs €4.20. Beforehand you have to pick up your own food like in the canteen. The concept of digitalization makes absolutely no sense. After ordering two pizzas, a pasta dish and a salad as well as drinks, costing 80 euros, we asked about the "state of affairs" after waiting 30 minutes. This is where we first found out that the pagers weren't working and the dishes we ordered 30 minutes ago weren't ready yet. After another 20 minutes of waiting and questions, we received the food, which was unfortunately incomplete and could be described as a starter in terms of portioning and size. And if we, two "thin" adults with two children, express this, then others are likely to judge it even more drastically. The ingredients ordered and paid for were also missing from the salad. Here too, another five minute wait. We haven't been to Vapiano Ollenhauerstr for a while now. in Bonn. If you take into account the "emptiness" at the time of our presence in the restaurant, neither the preparation time of almost an hour nor the price-performance ratio are appropriate. And there's nothing in terms of taste that would perhaps justify the price. Will such a concept be able to become more established in the future?

As a former regular guest, I was there for the first time in about 10 years. The new ordering system "without a card", but on a digital ordering column like in well-known fast food shops, seems inappropriate. I always found it very nice to order directly from the kitchen and watch it being prepared while I waited. My beloved pizzas are no longer offered, instead there are rock-hard pinsas with sour tomato sauce. Unfortunately, the spaghetti carbonara was a single lump and appeared to be “warmed up”. Unfortunately, the ambience has also changed for the worse; it seems much smaller than before. Recently the prices have become disproportionately high. Unfortunately it's no longer a nice place to eat, it's a shame.

The prices are just ridiculous. As a guest you sometimes have to order yourself, pick up your food yourself at some terminal, the prices exceed those of luxury restaurants here in Bonn, for example the luxury restaurant Remis. Pasta with mushrooms For just under 20 €... and if you want any side dishes, you are of course willing to pay extra for them, but the extra charge that is required is just ridiculous for the ambience and the service and forever far removed from reality. There was no alternative solution to ordering. 5) The lasagna that my companion ordered with a “CAUTION HOT” sign on it was warm from the edge. The more I ate towards the middle, unfortunately it was cold. 6) I asked one of the plate clearers if he wanted to speak to the manager. He wrote down my table number and promised to report it. Nobody ever showed up. 7) I went to the food counter with my eaten plate and asked if the food was also available in HOT. They then put my plate in the pizza oven and handed it back to me - tolerably warmer. 8) I paid and left the restaurant completely disappointed. I have eaten at Vapiano many times over the years and have always been satisfied. This time it was a disaster, an insult and a bottomless disappointment. With this in mind, I will recommend them. P.S.: Fun on the side - take a photo of the sign on the table with QR and table code. This means you can then order food again from anywhere on this table, even days later! UPDATE 01/22/2024 // 1st chance for redress I wanted to give Vapiano a chance - everyone can make mistakes. So I ordered lasagne twice again. After a good half hour of hungry waiting, an employee comes to the table to announce that lasagna is out. Well thank you Vapiano. You completely blew the opportunity! UPDATE February 24, 2024 // So now I finally have time to deal with these slanderous vapianisti again. Oh no, they aren't, because here at Google an employee from the Ollenhauer-Str branch never answers, only an outsourced complaint management from Hildesheim. What can you say, at the beginning, when Arizona iced tea was still being served, I learned to love the “system”. However, being back here at this location after a good 2 years, I felt like I was back in the Corona pandemic... QR codes on the tables, order terminals like the brand with the golden M... and you could also order at the checkout. Yes, no, it's clear - we'll be in the toilet soon... I know, "laying off" staff seems hip, but here it's a complete step backwards. The order/payment card was better than the current order system. :( Bring back the old! I don't need a website that reminds me far too late that my food has been 'built'. I always enjoyed being able to communicate with the chefs behind the counter while preparing my food - it was so analogue. Still experience gastronomy ;) Now it's "just" like any other system of catering A little tip: The oil/balsamic vinegar bottles on the table should not have a screw cap, as impatient guests won't let you open them - they won't close properly or get caught. The snorkel closures were more practical and cleaner. It is questionable whether I will visit you again after this negative experience.

Dreadful experience. Never again. We used to love Vapiano in Bonn when we ordered food directly with the person who cooked it in front of you. Really was the best in terms of freshness and flavour. We moved overseas 9 years ago and yesterday back in Bonn for the first time, so we rushed to Vapiano. Now the ordering system is crappy, impersonal and results in long waits and poor quality food. Either you order at a kiosk like McDonalds, or via a confusing phone app. And the ambience of the restaurant is completely gone. I gave this feedback to the staff and they all readily agreed that the new system is dreadful. It’s not the staffs fault, it’s the incompetent poorly designed process system and incompetent management. If Vapiano can’t improve, they’ll go bust with a year or two for sure.

Vapiano is just terrible now. I think they are going to fail as a company if they can’t correct a number of things. We moved away from Germany 9 years ago and were looking forward to visiting Vapiano again. But we were disappointed on every front. Instead of the previous really good and easy to use system ordering based on a card given to each diner when you enter the restaurant, there’s now an awful order by QR code system or a McDonald’s style ordering booth. And the food quality is poor now too. It doesn’t help that it’s now less fresh when you eat it than when it was on the old system where it was cooked in front of you, but I think the quality drop is more than that. It’s just cooked with less skill and care. When we fed back to the staff about the drop in quality, they agreed and said they hate the new system. Vapiano is doomed if they can’t sort this all out. And although we used to love Vapiano, if they can’t sort it out then good riddance. Turn their outlets into KFC’s or something - it would be much better and considerably cheaper.

The food gets 5 stars from me because it's still as good as it used to be, but the pricing policy should really be reconsidered! We paid a whopping €51 for two pasta dishes with two small side dishes and two shandies! Who can afford that these days?! By the way, the shop was also empty. I don't think the prices are justified, especially because you have to order yourself at a terminal (like at McDonald's) or at the checkout, get a beeper and also have to pick up your food yourself! The Vapiano chain was on the verge of collapse not too long ago and with this pricing policy, bankruptcy will unfortunately not be long in coming. It's a shame because the food is still very tasty!

The two of us were there on Saturday 04/05/24. Both the portion size and the quality of the pasta dishes are constantly declining. A well-decorated restaurant with delicious food. The Vapiano in Bonn is already located and there are a few parking spaces. The food is put together and ordered on a screen. You get a device that shows when the food is ready and you can pick it up. Personally, I think it would be nicer if you were served at the table. However, we eat it fresh and individually prepared and it tastes very tasty. I had the feeling that Vapiano was a bit understaffed on the Sunday afternoon I visited. However, the staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. In my opinion, the price was in the upper price segment, especially considering that you have to order screens. You can only order from the machine and you have to be incredibly careful. There are only 2 of these machines at the entrance, there was a queue behind us, ordering took a little longer with 4 people and in our rush we weren't able to check the entire order properly. A very expensive iced tea was automatically added to a dish (you probably would have had to click away) & the tip is also automatically added to it (and a decent amount; 5 euros for us, and without you being served); If you don't click away or miss it when checking, it's too late. We couldn't return the unwanted iced tea and the staff was also rather unfriendly. But the food was OK. Spend 72 euros for 4 small dishes
