I've been a regular here for about 20 years. I feel very comfortable here.

Habiba, the sweetest soul at the café in Bonn, made my day with her warm smile and kind heart. Her lovely energy turned a simple coffee break into a beautiful travel moment. I would love to recommend to visit the cafe.

The Midi lives from the beautiful Münsterplatz and the really nice outdoor dining. The prices are just about right, but the service could be improved significantly. This time we waited 20 minutes and then asked inside whether we could order something. After another 5 minutes a waiter came. . On our last visit we left after 20 minutes because they didn't think it was necessary to serve us.

Drinks are very small in contrast to other cafés but the same price, always close much earlier than it says online and the boss treats employees like garbage. Oh yes, and a rat once ran past us in here.

It's been a long time since I gave MIDI a chance. Unfortunately, this time the experience was similar to half a dozen times in recent years. The service staff are always nice and friendly, but you wait forever for your ordered food. If you take a look inside the kitchen, you'll get an idea of ​​what the problem could be. The kitchen is far too small for the number of tables outside and inside. This number of guests cannot be served with this kitchen. This time the food came to the table cold. To make up for it, the waitress brought us a latte macchiato without asking, even though we don't like coffee. Combined with the answer that there is only latte macchiato. Unfortunately, after so many years, I haven't learned anything. Too bad! The good thing is that there are now many good alternatives in Bonn.

What we ate was delicious and the beer was very good, the service was cordial.

We just went in and the barista instantly started to hurry us with his hand to make us order in just one breath take. He was insanely rude and jerk I have never ever had this experience anywhere at all..I could not believe that someone could do this whule its his job. Other bosses would have already fired him a long time ago!!!!

we went inside, wanted to order two cappucinos with alternative milk, and while we were thinking for like 2 seconds which milk we prefer, the waiter gestured us in a very rude manner to hurry up, keep in mind we were inside for 1 minute at that point, afterwards we decided not to order anything cause he was so rude to us, i worked as a waitress before and i would have been fired over something like that

Midi in Bonn, located in the old town near the Beethoven sculpture, is a great spot for a pleasant meal. A nice café in the middle of Bonn's Münsterplatz! You can have a good breakfast there, but also have a nice coffee or wine!

We've been going there every now and then for breakfast or lunch - the food is usually always good and the service is fast. Last Saturday we wanted to have breakfast and ordered - only to be told at ten o'clock that there were no more eggs because they were "out". At least 4 employees in the store and no one thinks of popping into the neighboring department store and buying eggs? Or alternatively which ones from the market? I originally come from the catering industry myself, we have always made “everything” possible for our guests and eggs are really not rocket science. Just bad this time, disappointing!

Nice terrace with sunshine until the evening. The wheat beer on tap could be colder, then it would be perfect. The conditions are usually very careful and attentive. You can also order a beer outside during the Christmas market. Always interesting dishes on the changing daily menu. Also a good selection of cakes and exciting aperitifs. Toilet exemplary.

Es war mal unser Lokal. Cappu war mehr Schaum wie Kaffee und in einer hohen schmalen kleinen Tasse. Klar alles wird teurer, aber bitte dann auch Quallität. Service Personal unterirdisch da weiß keiner, wo der Gast bezahlen darf. Uns wurde immer gesagt , bei meiner Kollegin. Das ging dreimal so und so mussten wir ständig warten. Nein nicht nochmal, sonst waren wir regelmäßig Gast so aber bitte nicht.

Extremely nice service! Totally beautiful outside in the evening. Got a blanket because I was cold. The portion was perfect. Wine was delicious and everything went really quickly and was modern with payment/invoice via QR code. Prices are moderate, completely fine in relation to the location

Ich habe im Café Medi in Bonn 20 Minuten gesessen und gewartet, ohne dass ich eine Bestellung aufgeben konnte. Ich habe sogar eine Kellnerin gefragt, die mich fortan einfach ignoriert und sogar Blickkontakt mit mir verweigert hat. Ich konnte eigentlich nur noch lachen, aufstehen und gehen. Und das habe ich auch gemacht, genau in dieser Reihenfolge.

Well, yes. Approximately 10 euros for 2 slices of toast with cheese/ham is extremely steep. I definitely expected more for my money, also considering the high quality of the homepage. You pay the price for sitting directly on Münsterplatz. In a less exposed location, no one would want to pay that. This exposed location can also be enjoyed with just a coffee. It is recommended for that.

I oredered a 33cl beer on the menu. The waitress came back with a pint of beer. She said that the 33cl was not available. She refused to take back that drink and asked her manager ...i was supposed to pay for it. I said i did order something that was on the menu and not what she brought and i asked her to bring another beer available in 25 oe 33cl max. She refused and threaten me with paying that drink she brought. It is not in my habit to leave when there is an issue but under these circomstances i left. I do not recommand this place.

I had the Penne Grande all'Arbiata and unfortunately that was the worst pasta dish of my life. Unfortunately it was just tasteless tomato sauce without a hint of chili, garlic or even Mediterranean spices. In addition, the noodles were almost cold.

The perfect place to take a break from strolling through the city and watch the hustle and bustle on Münsterplatz, have a drink or eat a lunch like we did. The food was very good, the service attentive and friendly. Best reached on foot, by bike or even by car - Münsterplatzgarage is directly under the square.

I visited the restaurant in the early evening with a friend, we sat inside. We found it very strange that pigeons were constantly flying in and flying over the guest room and above it Bar sat. While we were eating we noticed that there were still pieces of chicken breast in the now mushy lettuce leaves underneath. That is not how it works! Unfortunately I have to take back my previous very good review, the food is good, but the current prices are not justified. The menus are dirty, with squashed insects on the paper, the door to the right women's toilet can hardly be closed and the toilet seat is not firmly installed. That was completely different!!!! It's a shame 😔 The location is of course very nice!!!

Good luck getting a table and service when busy

My daughter and I came to Bonn for the first time. We saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I said “Hello, can we get a table for 2” in English. The woman that initially greeted us put on a sour frown on her face then put down 2 menus on a table and walked off. She said something to another woman who turned out to be our waitress. She was so rude to us. She checked on all the tables but ours. She kept giving us dirty looks. I’m not sure if she didn’t like Americans but the whole experience was bizarre. I had to go up to the bar to ask to pay our check because she kept ignoring us. The bartender told her we wanted to pay and we had to wait another 10 minutes before she would bring our check. Completely unprofessional and rude. It’s a shame because the hamburger and curry wurst were good.

The prices were raised some time ago. The reasons were, among other things, the higher energy prices, you also have to think about the employees, etc. Now again a new card and further increased prices. Currywurst/French fries over 14,- Sometimes a third more expensive than the previous menu. Cheeky and overpriced.

Our favorite cafe in downtown Bonn for years. Unfortunately now with a significantly reduced menu. A lot of food was cut out and since then I've only had something to drink. Very nice and fast service.

The Midi has a top location on Münsterplatz next to the Beethoven monument. Sitting outside and still being in the middle of it all, it couldn't get any better in the city of Bonn. This time we only had something to drink, great service despite the high occupancy.

THE ideal place for a quick snack!! I've been there twice in the last few days!!! 1 time on Saturday afternoon and 2 times on Tuesday evening, and after shopping! AS A REWARD!

We were there for breakfast, egg dishes are freshly prepared, scrambled eggs are NOT out of the package. I was missing a bit more choice. The tables are very small, so you need a second table for a normal breakfast. The nice, attentive service staff saw this immediately and pushed a table over.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio was rather mediocre, as some of the potato pancakes were not cooked through. The burger was almost cold. Tastes good but is clearly too expensive for the performance (€10.90 for the potato pancakes)

Anlässlich eines Kinobesuchs wollten wir vorab noch etwas essen gehen. Nachdem wir vorab 3!!!! Restaurants wieder verlassen haben, da sich niemand dafür interessierte uns einen Tisch anzubieten, sind wir im Midi gelandet. Schönes Ambiente, sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung und der mediterrane Gemüseteller ist auch für Nicht- Vegetarier der absolute Hit. Die teilweise negativen Rezensionen kann ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen, ich komme gerne wieder.

Je vraagt om 11u40 voor een tomaten soep en een vissoep.... Sorry enkel ontbijt tot 12 u... Wtf? Zet dat dan op je kaart. Nu staat er enkel dat je ontbijt kan krijgen tot 12u er staat nergens dat je niet mag kiezen uit de rest van de kaart...

Die Lage direkt auf dem Münsterplatz ist natürlich top. Das Essen eher durchschnittlich und preislich auch nicht wirklich billig. Der Service war etwas unpersönlich aber zügig. In Summe also guter Durchschnitt. Mein Ziegenkäseburger war lecker, die Fritten ein klein wenig zu salzig. Für in Summe rund 15 Euro (ohne Getränke) habe ich aber anderswo auch schon besseres gehabt

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr unhöflich und empfangen dich als Ausländer vorallem mit Kopftuch sehr unhöflich. Es war früher nicht so jetzt aber sehr schlimm.

Das Personal ist teilweise unfreundlich, habe schon nicht ein Mal erlebt. Für die Toilette muss man extra zahlen

Sehr schönes Cafe mit sehr viel Glas. Wir haben dort ein sehr leckeres Frühstück genossen, das Personal war sehr freundlich.
