Wir haben dort abends auf Vorbestellung eine ganze Gans gegessen. Die Gans wurde am Tisch von dem Koch perfekt tranchiert! Es waren alle Beilagen dabei: Kartoffelklöße, Rot- und Rosenkohl, Maronen, Bratapfel und viel Sauce! Alles war perfekt zubereitet. Die Gans war sehr knusprig, saftig und zart. Die Beilagen waren perfekt zubereitet.Nachschlag wurde mehrfach angeboten! Dazu hatten wir Mineralwasser und eine Flasche Primitivo, der auch sehr lecker war, getrunken! Hervorzuheben ist auch der äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Service, der das Ganze abrundete und uns einen wunderbaren Abend bereitete. Wir können die Rheinaue uneingeschränkt empfehlen, wer gerne Gans ist, der wird hier nicht enttäuscht werden! Wir sagen Danke und kommen gerne wieder!

Food was good, but the service staff was a complete disaster. The previous guests' food wasn't cleared away even after we had finished eating. When we asked to put it away, we were met with a polite no.

I ordered liver, which unfortunately was still completely raw on the inside. My husband's steak was good. The food is prepared without love, actually the eye is with it. That wasn't possible there.

The cappuccino was bitter in taste and the Kölsch tasted stale. We ordered several hot chocolates, one served cold and the other hot - at €4.50 each you'd expect more. The prices are generally high, but the service is unfortunately only mediocre to poor. The price-performance ratio is miserable. The only reason to order here is the location as there are no alternatives.

The restaurant is in an idyllic location in Bonn's Rheinaue and you can sit outside very nicely. The waitresses are not very attentive and can easily overlook you. The food is quite good, but not always completely fresh. For example, I had chicory where not only was the stalk processed, but it was also quite wilted. My opinion was noted, but no one was really interested. There was no apology and no compensation in the form of a coffee, for example. However, my companion's salad was very good and also enough for a starter. The cake there is also very tasty.

Great view to have dinner with friends & family

Very pleasant setting, very tasty food and very friendly service!! Highly recommended if you are in the area, dine outside when the weather is nice and enjoy the beautiful view, I will definitely go back!

The rating is for the beer garden! We were there spontaneously today on a Sunday with a larger group because all the seats in the restaurant next door were full. The atmosphere is nice and you can also sit in the shade. There wasn't too much going on, but the wastebaskets were overflowing with rubbish. Overall, the staff didn't seem particularly motivated and they were annoyed that there was a small rush of guests. Unfortunately, the prices are a bit excessive for what you get in terms of snacks and food. All of the fries - several people had fries or currywurst with fries - were completely over salted. In addition, the portions were clearly different in size. The menu includes, among other things, nachos with cheese sauce - of course you shouldn't expect gourmet food, but the cheese sauce is obviously poured into the glass onto a piece of cardboard and that's very bland, it's not that appetizing and the quality of the cheese sauce is pure it was pretty bad. In the future, we would probably visit this beer garden again just for drinks rather than snacking there

Great location, especially in summer for the open air concerts of the summer festival. Nice service, delicious food and great concerts.

There are concerts here in July and August with very good, mostly cover bands. The beer garden has the right ambience for it. The food offering ranges from tarte flambée to currywurst. Highly recommended.

The staff is very friendly and customer oriented! Upon request, we were served the side salad in advance and offered shandy, even if it wasn't on the menu, and all with genuine friendliness. You can immediately tell that the staff enjoy their work. The food was also very tasty!

It's a great place to sit, in the middle of the Rheinaue and with a great view. Unfortunately, in our case the staff wasn't in a particularly good mood. You didn't feel welcome but rather a bit annoying. The Kölsch tasted good and the ice cream sundae was good too.

This is a wonderful campsite because of its quiet and direct location on the water. The containers used as sanitary facilities could be nicer, but here you often have to contend with flooding. Then these and all other vehicles have to go. The beer garden is popular. It's best to make sure you get a flat surface because if it rains, puddles will remain standing. Only cash payment possible.

Rustic beer garden with beer table sets, 3 hours of live music is hard! Food is moderate but sufficient! Music stops at 10 p.m. because of the neighbors! Still worth it!

The quality of the food was good. However, the service is not at all. Unfortunately, the young waiter came to the table far too rarely, so you couldn't order drinks or dessert. If you wanted to order something, you had to take action yourself. In this category of restaurant you definitely expect attentive service! The bill was also calculated using a calculator. I haven't seen that for a long time, in times of Orderman and modern cash register systems.

The food there is always recommended. A beautiful ambience in the middle of the Rheinaue. Veal schnitzel, ice cream and cool drinks round it all off. The staff is always friendly. Again and again. Not to be forgotten are the daily live performances in the beer garden that take place in July and August. Great mood.

At the beginning of August 2024, we held our wedding celebration with around 40 guests in a separate hall in the Rheinaue park restaurant. We had already started planning the restaurant in December/January. A buffet from the banquet menu, modified according to our own ideas, was served. Summary: If you could give this 10 stars, we would :-) Here are a few details: + extremely pleasant planning: all of our many questions were answered patiently and comprehensively. It was easy to adjust the buffet and beverage offerings. Numerous additional options regarding music systems and other service providers were possible if required. + enormous relief from the 'all around': The hall was prepared wonderfully and really beautifully. We found the coordination of seating plans, decoration, delivery and cooling of flowers and wedding cake, etc. to be a no-brainer, which took a lot of stress away from us. + Our wedding guests have praised the quality of the food and service numerous times, which we can only emphatically agree with. + What was particularly valuable for us was the really good communication during the planning and on the day of the celebration itself. On the day of the celebration, the service staff repeatedly proactively sought coordination with us about the timing, which made great “collaboration” possible.

The service is very nice, but unfortunately a bit overwhelmed. The tarte flambée (the waiter didn't know what it was topped with) was cold and was quite expensive at €17.

I was there as part of a wedding party and it was a wonderful celebration. Not least thanks to the attentive, courteous service and the delicious food. “Only” 4 stars for the ambience, as it’s nothing out of the ordinary to the eye, but that’s not necessary. The restaurant is neat and classic, but the view of the Rhine and the surrounding area steals the show and creates the ambience. So overall a wonderful experience.

We sat down for a beer after a walk, also in the absence of other offers. Dem Judging by the ambience and interior, it seems to be more expensive here anyway. After ordering, we saw that a 0.25er Kölsch costs 3.90 euros. This was our only drink. I didn't even know that Kölsch could be sold at such a high price. Price increases are all well and good, but not like this. And yes, you can read the prices beforehand, but the drink prices wouldn't have changed the rating. As I said, if you can and want to spend more money, you're in really good hands here, the food looked exquisite and the waitresses were very nice.

The sponsored free live concerts in the summer months are always nice. There is something for every taste. This is a great place to dance and meet friends

I've been here so many times and will probably come back again and again, partly because of the concerts, partly because of the view and the food is really good (sometimes better, sometimes worse) than expected. So we were at least always satisfied. Conclusion: Always a good idea..

Food is very tasty and always a pleasure

The food was very good. Unfortunately the service was a complete disaster. First we had to wait until we could even order, then the soup came before the drinks and we had to wait over 1.5 hours until the main course came. The waiters stood in the room and didn't know which table the food belonged to. Yes, it was full, it was the balloon festival, but then accepting 3 closed parties would logically exceed the capacity. Very unfortunate.

I had a lovely time sitting on the Taresse when the weather was good, but I've also been indoors several times. I would describe the food as solid, the fish was too heavily breaded for me. I am very dissatisfied that there were no senior portions for my 89 year old mother. It was offered to make the portion smaller for the same price because the same production effort would have to be made. I find the reasoning bizarre. My mother therefore had to give half back.

Great view, mediocre food, desastrous service. I have been here a good dozen times, mainly with international guests. Outdoors: great location, and great view. Indoors: grim and dark. - if you are sitting outside. Inside, there is no view, just a really grim interior. Very average "German"cuisine. Not bad, but a bit boring and bland. For 50€ per head, you can find better alternatives. The service has frequently been disastrous. Several times, it ended in an argument with the waiters. Sometimes, the waiter seemed actually nice, just the restaurant didn't let him. Structurally. If you don't mind arguing with waiters, you will be rewarded with a great view, mediocre food, and a hefty tag.

Great prices in the beer garden, a small cup of coffee €3.50, a bottle of wheat beer €6.00. And that with self-service and a wooden bench. Given the prices, you shouldn't be surprised if guests, especially with children, avoid the restaurant.

The food didn't convince us. The tomato and basil soup contained no basil, but more chili oil and was only edible for fans of very spicy cuisine. The cod was still raw inside in the first attempt; The second attempt was better. The Wiener Schnitzel was quite small and was deep fried. The side salads were very lush, fresh and well-balanced in terms of taste. The kitchen mishap was dealt with positively with a beer on the house.

Given the pricing, I would have expected much better food. And especially completely different sanitary rooms. Already on the way there is an extreme smell of mold. Sanitary rooms are in the basement and in a dilapidated condition. The very good service cannot make up for it. If a simple schnitzel costs around 30 euros and a creme brulee costs 9 euros, then you should invest something in the restaurant. The food was good average. Have eaten better at lower prices

A real insider tip. We came across the restaurant by chance because everything in the area around our hotel was fully booked. But we're happy about it. The food was excellent in terms of taste and composition. The salmon and the sirloin steak were cooked to perfection and were fantastic in combination with the side dishes. The staff is friendly and courteous. The ambience with fireplace is also perfect. If you're nearby, you should definitely go there.

We came for coffee and cake. Coffee with milk wasn't drinkable, cappuccino was also subpar. Eternal waiting times (lack of staff - everything is understandable, but then that's all they offer. Lots of places that can be managed with two men and no more chairs). Cake was frozen and hadn't even been thawed properly. Wasted money.

Wir waren mit der Familie gestern zum Abendessen dort. Es gab spezielle Weihnachtsmenüs, trotzdem wurde speziell für die Kinder unkompliziert auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Vielen Dank dafür. 😀

Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam und wir saßen bei gutem Wetter draußen auf der Terrasse. Das war das Positive. Wir waren zu sechst dort. Das Essen allgemein war langweilig und überteuert. Ich hatte Gnocci, die überhaupt nicht geschmeckt haben. Es war nicht harmonisch, als hätte man Gnocchi zubereitet und eine Sauce darüber gegossen, aber vergessen das beides miteinander harmonieren sollte. Und das ganze für 22,90 €. Fazit: Für ein Getränk auf der Terrasse in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht.

Wir haben eine köstlich ganze Gans für 4 Personen gegessen mit dem passenden Rotwein. Sehr gelungen!
