Nothing special, the food was better before. The quality of the meat in the dishes wasn’t the best.

In the evening I had the opportunity to visit Van Hoa and enjoy curry rice. However, the staff then suggested that I try the mango salad, as this is also one of the restaurant's specialties and really impressed me. The staff and the owner are also very enthusiastic and attentive. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back

Absolutely recommended. This Asian guy isn't much different than any of the others in the area. However, I can absolutely recommend him. The food is delicious, you can sit well inside and outside, the prices are fair and the service is friendly and fast.

Really great little Vietnamese. Six of us came on Sunday evening and managed to get a place without a reservation. Great menu with lots of different dishes, all also available as a vegan version with tofu or Saitan. Super flavorful and large portions. Prices absolutely fair and very friendly service. We'll be back!

Unfortunately the food didn't taste good at all. There were three of us there. We had different dishes but everyone couldn't finish the meal. The spices and sauces didn't suit the dish at all. I really like Vietnamese food but I'll never come here again.

The food was served without any care and tasted bland. I took the Pho Bo, and the broth was just "salted warm water".

This is by far my favorite place for Vietnamese in Berlin. The tastes are fantastic and prices more than reasonable.

This is an informal restaurant where you can be seated either inside or outside. The food is good and pretty authentic. Prices are reasonable.

I go here every day for lunch and have never been disappointed! The service is super friendly and also very quick, so there are no long waiting times. My personal favorites are the summer rolls as a starter and the Pho Xao as the main course. Together with the refreshing homemade raspberry lemonade, this is the perfect meal to get through the rest of the working day 😁 I can really recommend everyone to visit this nice restaurant!

We have been buying summer rolls to take away here 1-2 times a week for years. The prices have been increased bit by bit. Recently, however, the sauce has become less and less. When you spend €9 or more on summer rolls, you also expect the sauce to be at least nearly enough for all the summer rolls you buy. ://///// Unfortunately, we won't be coming back until this is reversed. ://///

All i can say is that we were 3 people and we ordered 3 different plates, in the end we all had light diarrhoea! Food quality is really bad and cheap made, yet they charge for a first class restaurant! There are no signs telling you it’s CASH ONLY, so chances are you will wind up walking around the block searching for a bank. Also the staff were rude as if someone forced them to work! Overall i wouldn’t give them any star…

Vietnamese specialties in a very nice setting. The menu is truly complete and delicious! We loved the udon noodles and crunchy shrimp. Low prices and very friendly staff! Highly recommended.

Prices have clearly! attracted. (Depending on the court up to 40%.) Still NO card payment possible; Wanting to save cents at the expense of customer service is a top dog move in 2024! Which is not in harmony with the taste of the dishes and, above all, the below-average service. Oh yes! Water from the tap costs money here. The place was noticeably emptier than before. I wonder why ?! …

Very good Vietnamese around here. I've already tried a few around Schönhauser Allee and I have to say it's definitely one of the best. -Lots of choice on the menu - Dishes and ingredients are super good - The ambience inside is also nicely decorated And they have really good homemade drinks Price-performance ratio is perfect.

Unfortunately the Pho soup had no taste. I don't mean spices or salt, but the typical bone soup taste that an authentic Pho soup has and how it traditionally tastes. I don't want to imply anything, but maybe it's just watered down. But when it comes to the taste of the soup, I unfortunately have to say that it could be done better. Rest OK.

Solid Vietnamese restaurant with moderate prices

Bin schon des Öfteren hier gewesen, kleines Lokal mit guten Speisen. Gute Auswahl an Gerichten, Preise vernünftig. Kann ich gern empfehlen.

Pho Ga and Pho Bo are just watery with hardly any taste. Little pasta, few sprouts, little of everything - except water, too much of that. The prices have been raised considerably. I won't be coming back - it's a shame because we were there often and enjoyed it, but unfortunately those days are over.

Good curries and shakes! Unfortunately the soups are a disaster. The vegetable soup was just strange. Unseasoned, strange vegetable combinations, the glass noodles were extremely little and the topping: roasted onions??? Very strange.

I think your curries are delicious. But the Pho with chicken (Pho Ga) didn't taste like anything. No Thai basil, no ginger, cinnamon, anise, coriander taste. I had to specifically ask for lime. Now this is a fast food restaurant, but sorry, I've eaten much better ones in Berlin. A pity.

Sehr leckerer Mittagstisch. Absolut empfehlenswertes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder vorbei, wenn wir in Berlin sind!

Das Essen schmeckt gut. Es sind die Standard Gerichte dabei, wie es sie in Restaurants ähnlichen Charakters in den umgebenden 300m auch gibt. Service ist mittelmäßig bis schlecht. Leitungswasser zum Trinken gabs nicht. Bezahlen nur in Bar möglich, das ist ein dickes Minus.

Seit Jahren unser Lieblingsasisate im Prenzlauer Berg für ein gutes schnelles Essen. Am besten mit einem Apfel-Koriander Smoothie (Van Hoa Smoothie) dazu.

Tipico ristorante Viet alla berlinese, però con alcune pietanze un pò diversr dal solito e con prezzi ancora buoni. I piatti tutto sommato sono gustosi e con porzioni normali, non troppo abbondanti. Purtroppo pagamento solo contanti. Il servizio è stato ok, veloce e gentile.

Wir haben telefonisch vorbestellt. Statt der angegeben 20 Minuten mussten wir 45 Minuten warten. Die Hälfte der Essen war gut, die andere Hälfte und persönlich mein Essen waren fade im Geschmack und extrem übersalzen. Würde ich jetzt nicht nochmal hingehen..

Wir waren schon öfters in diesem Restaurant, nach einer längeren Pause fanden wir das Essen leider nicht mehr so gut. Nicht mit Liebe angerichtet (das Auge etc. isst ja auch mit). Das Essen wurde schnell serviert. Für unser Kleinkind gab's ein Kindermenü. Irgendwie dachten wir, da kommt jetzt ein Menü, vielleicht mit 2 Gängen. Die Suppe kam und wir warteten. Als dann immer noch nichts serviert wurde, hakte ich nach, das ist das Kindermenü. War alles in allem nicht sehr liebevoll aber schnell schnell, das nicht so leckere Essen hingeknallt und auf dem Teller hingeklatscht. Also wir gehen leider nicht mehr, trotz des netten Ambientes hin. Schade eigentlich. Hinweis, das ist eine subjektive Erfahrung.

Ein typisches Streetfood Restaurant. Authentisch, einfach aber lecker. Der Service ist okay, aber nicht hervorzuheben. Das Essen kommt schnell und ist gut.

Schön zentral gelegen und trotzdem nicht an der hektischen Schönhauser. Auch draußen gibts Plätze. Essen ist klasse - wir sind dort gerne mittags. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein vietnamesisches Restaurant wie 1000000000 andere in Berlin. Man kann NUR BAR zahlen - was 2023 total inakzeptabel ist. Draußen sitzt man auf Bänken... Das Service ist auch standard.

Mit Abstand mein go-to "Soul food" Laden. Die wechselnde Karte ist stets lecker, das Essen kommt schnell, ist fair portioniert und schmeckt so gut, dass Van Hoa ein fester Programmpunkt ist, wann immer ich in Berlin bin. Auch die Preise sind unschlagbar - Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Getränk unter 20 Euro bekommt man kaum noch in solch guter Qualität!

Klein, charmant restaurant met vriendelijk personeel en heel smakelijke gerechten. Ook de kinderen hebben ervan genoten!

Das Essen schmeckt super. Wir waren hier schon oft essen und kommen gerne wieder. Diesmal gab es wieder Ente mit Hoisinsauce und Reis zum mitnehmen. Meistens essen wir aber vorort. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man seinen Hund leider nicht mit reinnehmen kann und wenn keine Plätze draußen frei sind, man Pech hat. Danke für das Essen.

Seit 10 Jahren konstant SEHR gutes Essen - und auch heute nicht überteuert.

Auch ich war einmal sehr begeistert von diesem kleinen Vietnamesen. Zwei Tagesgerichte, frisch lecker, schnell serviert. Vor Kurzem habe ich dort nach einigen Monaten wieder zu Mittag gegessen und das Tages-Gericht mit Saté-Sauce bestellt. Die Sauce glich eher einem Konzentrat und war überaus salzig, für mich nicht essbar. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir gesagt, dass heute bereits über 50 Portionen des gleichen Essens gegessen worden wären und niemand etwas beanstandet hätte. Ich habe mir das Essen einpacken lassen und zu Hause mit viel Kokosmilch gestreckt. So war es einigermaßen genießbar. Ich denke, das Van Hoa ahmt das "Hamy" Nähe Herrmannplatz nach, bleibt jedoch mit der Qualität leider weit hinter diesem zurück.

The common Viet restaurant. Tasty, healthy affordable and quickly served. The only disvantage that I find is that the place is kind of small and you sit in a bench, so you would not expect the comfort of a restaurant, but you know what you can expect in this kind of places. I also liked the different exotic teas. Also very good option for take out.

Wir waren viele Jahre sehr zufriedene Stammkunden. Heute seit längerem wieder da gewesen und total enttäuscht. Salat braun und welk, keine frischen Kräuter am Golden Curry. Soße hat wie von einem Fertiggericht geschmeckt. Sommerrollen, die früher super lecker waren fad und lieblos. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Also ich muss schon sagen, einer der Besten in Berlin! Preise sind sehr gut! Das Personal, jeder Einzelne der Servicekräfte, super freundlich! Und nun zum Essen, ja was soll ich groß sagen, es schmeckt einfach! Die Zutaten immer frisch und die Gewürze nicht zu lasch oder zu übertönend, einfach perfekt! Geheimtipp, das Tages Curry (wechselt die Currybase immer wider) für 7,80€ bekommt man eine ordentliche Portion und es schmeckt immer top! Also Hut ab dem Team, komme immer wieder gerne.

Immer sehr gut besucht ist Mensch froh einen Platz gefunden zu haben. Die wenigen Speisen, die angeboten werden sind frisch zubereitet und schmecken gut. Wir gehen gern hier essen, allerdings beim letzten Besuch fand ich mein Gericht zu salzig und nicht so gut gewürzt. Bestimmt eine Ausnahme...

I used to come here very often, but in the last 2 years it changed quality. The curry rice dish doesn't taste the same and it's sweeter :(. The last few times the dish was just a bit warm. Such a pity, I hope they will improve it again.
