I liked it, the service was nice. When we were greeted and told we would like to sit outside, the tone was a bit rude and that if it started to rain we wouldn't be allowed to come back in, that was a bit strange. Regardless, it didn't rain so the topic was over. I chose the corn chicken with parmesan crust, green asparagus and homemade fries, which I can say was very tasty 😋. Price performance is okay, slightly higher prices.

The Vai Vai is a very large and tastefully decorated restaurant. It also offers a very large terrace with a view of the water. There are a number of parking spaces available in the surrounding streets. The service here is really attentive and friendly. The food is also impressive. I had a Big Baron Bacon Burger, which was only offered as a special offer for a short time. The top bun was placed next to it, a bit unusual, but it was also extremely high. The taste was perfect; great bun and with the patty I was even asked beforehand how I would like it. Unfortunately, very few people do that. I chose medium and that's how it was served. The fries were homemade and not from a bag. These also tasted excellent. The prices may be a little higher than other restaurants, but the quality and service are definitely worth it. That's why I'll definitely come back.

The food was beautifully prepared and very tasty. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The ambience was also very nice. I found it a bit too loud. And in summer it could be quite warm inside. But I would love to come back. The price-performance ratio was totally reasonable.

Always an experience, everything perfect!

The restaurant is located directly on the Weser in Überseestadt. A terrace is also available. The restaurant is modernly furnished and you have a direct view of the kitchen. There is also a bar area if you just want a drink. I can recommend the burgers, steaks and the homemade fries with rosemary and garlic. The best for me. The food is presented very attractively and for us the cooking point was always as desired. A little more expensive, but for us the price/performance ratio is right. 4 stars because we sometimes have problems finding a parking space.

Sorry but we were more than disappointed with our visit this time. The food was generally mediocre, the fries were soft and the bruschetta was too wobbly. The avocado burger was bland and had no seasoning at all. After asking the service whether it was tasty, I mentioned the lack of seasoning in the burger, then I was looked at blankly and it wasn't addressed at all. Due to a change in the weather we had to continue eating inside, but after the shower was over we wanted to go back out on the terrace as it was very warm in the restaurant. As we walked past, the boss snapped at us that the terrace was now closed because more storms were expected. So beautiful so good, we were then simply left standing there and ignored. What was much better was that there were still more people sitting outside and being served...a mess. Even when it was clear that the weather was no longer changing, we weren't even asked if we wanted to drink something. I used to always enjoy going to vaivai but that's all over for now. Just a really bad evening yesterday, sorry.

We came here on business. The food was good but whether the price was justified remains to be seen. The service was okay because after we had the third justified complaint, our table was hardly served and the friendliness of the staff also decreased. The bottom line is once and never again.

Really tasty. Highly priced with very good quality. It's just a little louder when it's busy. It's definitely worth eating there. If the weather had been nice, we would have liked to sit outside with a view of the Weser.

Ordered the dry aged T-Bone and it was good, but definitely not amazing. That strong flavour of dry aged meat was not really there, just slightly. The price is not bad, not cheap but just what you could expect nothing crazy. The service is super nice, they really took care of me while I was there :) Overall a good experience but I don't know if I'd come back. I paid 86€ for the T-Bone (around 700g) and still water.

Very very tasty Absolutely to suggest!

First-class restaurant with a great outdoor area directly on the Weser. When we visited last Sunday, we received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table outside. Our waitress Nicole was extremely friendly and kept asking whether we were satisfied or whether we had any further wishes. The drinks and food we ordered were served very quickly. Both main courses and side dishes were excellent. Our rib eye steaks were grilled to perfection medium rare. An absolute pleasure. Both the food and service deserved more than 5 stars. This restaurant is an absolute recommendation. Price-performance ratio totally justified.

On the evening of May 11, 2024, we ate with our family in the VAIVAI restaurant and were served wonderfully by the waiter Yannik. He could literally read our wishes from our eyes and was always there when we needed something. My order consisted of the starter Tartare di Manzo, a classic Black Angus beef tartare with a warm, crispy baked egg yolk. The capers in a truffle cream completed the dish, served with toasted focaccia. As a side dish I chose the Patatine Fritte, homemade fries with rosemary, garlic and parmesan. For the main course I enjoyed a 300 g RIB eye steak, grilled to medium perfection. To top it all off, I treated myself to an espresso martini. The food was deliciously prepared and Yannik's attentive service contributed significantly to a successful evening.

Was here for the first time. It is a little more expensive, but also special. Unusual dishes that are served in a way that is very pleasing to the eye. Very pleasant staff. Really recommended!!

We were there for the first time but definitely NOT the last! The food was excellent and the service was also great, the 3 weeks of anticipation were worth it!

With their Meat Menu, Vai Vai focuses on people with a lot of money. However, it doesn't get past a glorified hamburger cafe. The prices are too high for the level of cuisine. An expensive evening because you have to pay separately for all side dishes.

It is a lovely restaurant for a bit more fancy dinner, but not over the top -which I loved-! The food is good and I would recommend to also try some gin tonics.

Like every good restaurant, VaiVai also offers an excellent selection of delicious dishes. Unfortunately, these always come at a price... The view is fantastic, in summer you can even enjoy it from the terrace, the service is very good and both the drinks and the food deserve to be tried! I'll definitely come here more often!

0.0 recommended and no customer friendliness! We had reserved a table and wanted to have a relaxing evening with the family. I wanted to book another family member and so we called. I couldn't get through with my cell phone at all - after trying 6 times. When my brother dialed the number, he was put through straight away. I asked why I couldn't get through and the waitress confirmed that I was blocked/blocked because we didn't get to our table from yesterday. But I had reserved the table for today, so it wasn't my fault. The waitress didn't even apologize or reprimand me. When we arrived we were “welcomed” so arrogantly and escorted to the table with a stupid comment. If my family hadn't been there, I would have asked the boss! That was the last time in this restaurant! Customer friendliness looks different in my opinion! Blocking the number is not acceptable at all and the rude man at reception needs training on how to be friendly with customers! We will not recommend this restaurant to anyone! That's the last thing!

Es war alles perfekt, der Service ist sehr gut und unsere Bedienung Jannik war immer da und gefragt ob wir noch Wünsche haben. Das Dessert war wie die Hauptspeise der Hammer. Alles mega lecker 😋 und tolle Atmosphäre. Der limoncello Spritz hat auch mega geschmeckt. Also alle die hier kritisch sind, einfach selber überzeugen. Es gibt von meiner Seite aus keine Kritik. We spontaneously went to VaiVai yesterday and were warmly welcomed. Our dog was no problem and a bowl of water was brought straight to him. Nikola served us extremely courteously and attentively. Drinks and appetizers were brought quickly. The main course didn't take long to arrive either. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the taste. If you want to spend a good evening, you are in good hands here with a great ambience, very good service and delicious food right on the Weser. The price/performance ratio is also absolutely fair.

We have been here very often now, super tasty steaks in all sizes. Even employees with allergy experience are hired; the employee “Tommy” was even trained for celiac disease. I have never experienced this before. 👍

Super delicious food and great ambience. We had a very nice evening. The fussili with beef fillet tips are really recommended. The burger with pancheta was also very good. As a starter we had the Bruschetta Pomodore. If you're willing to spend a little more money on good food and want to have a nice evening, this is the place for you.

Were there because of a voucher. My husband ordered Pasta Fusilloni con Filetto, I ordered the steak. Steak and side dishes were good and tasty - apart from the fact that mashed potatoes cost €6.50. My husband's meal came without the parmesan he ordered, the meat was overcooked and asparagus, red onions and cherry tomatoes were not there (unfortunately he didn't see that these were supposed to be included until later on the menu, but do I have to check something like that when I order??) , pine nuts also rather marginal, tomato sauce tasted rather neutral. Should have actually been returned - our mistake. Our waiter was rather uninformed about the request for a cocktail flavor and was not really forthcoming about ordering another drink during the meal. Unfortunately, Limoncello had no spray at first and then hardly any. I also find it rather unpleasant to receive dishes from a restaurant that can certainly be described as high-priced that have various scuffed spots. Conclusion: More appearance than reality.

Waren aufgrund eines Gutscheines dort. Mein Mann bestellte Pasta Fusilloni con Filetto, ich das Steak. Steak und Beilagen waren gut und lecker - mal davon abgesehen, dass Kartoffelpüree 6,50€ kostet. Das Essen meines Mannes kam ohne den bestellten Parmesan, Fleisch übergart und Spargel, rote Zwiebeln + Kirschtomaten waren nicht vorhanden (dass diese dabei sein sollten, hat er leider erst später in der Karte gesehen, muss ich allerdings bei Bestellungen so etwas kontrollieren??), Pinienkerne auch eher marginal, Tomatensoße schmeckte eher neutral. Hätte man eigentlich zurück geben müssen- unser Fehler. Unser Kellner war bzgl der Nachfrage eines Cocktailgeschmack eher nicht informiert und bzgl einer weiteren Getränkebestellung während des Essens nicht wirklich zu fassen. Limoncello hatte leider erst keinen und dann kaum Spritz. Auch finde ich es eher unschön, bei einem Restaurant was man durchaus als hochpreisig bezeichnen kann, Geschirr zu erhalten, welches diverse abgestoßene Stellen hat. Fazit: Mehr Schein als Sein.

I ate there on Sunday and it was very tasty, but since then I have been diagnosed with food poisoning by the doctor. I can't recommend anyone to go there. I will also inform the health department. It's a shame, it's actually a great shop

Disappointing, had more of an organized cafeteria than what I expected. Staff overwhelmed, food only tasted like garlic (and I don't mean that, I'm not used to garlic, but brother, if I had bitten on a toe there would have been less) and thus ruined the entire dish. I have no idea if I would try this again, the ambience was chic but felt like an upscale Hans im Glück von Feeling.

Otherwise we were super satisfied, unfortunately not today, we sat at the table for 30 minutes without us noticing, unfortunately only after asking if anyone else was coming, well....... Not again for the time being...... .. But the kitchen is great!!!! Service was actually better.

By far the unfriendly staff I have ever experienced!!! Completely empty shop that hadn't filled up a bit all evening. Nevertheless, there was great outrage that we as a group simply sat down at a table that had not been reserved. When asked why it was a problem, the waiter just continued to complain without giving any reason. Their card machine does not accept all cards. What eras do they live in?! The 4.5 stars simply can't be right. The restaurant is always empty and word gets around about the rude behavior of the staff.

Unfortunately a lot of hot air; Vegie burgers including fries were "ok", not a new/particularly good taste experience. Unfortunately, the service that evening was absolutely catastrophic - no please/thank you/no friendly laughter... The cappuccino/dessert was the best of the day..

Super tasty, nice staff and beautiful location

We treated ourselves to a starter, main course and dessert and were very satisfied with all courses. Steak at the desired level of doneness, fries crispy, pasta delicious, special requests taken into account. Dessert was extremely tasty, the crust of the crème brûlée was exactly as it should be. Only the “American” service concept with the personal waiter who introduces himself by name is a bit awkward in my opinion because it seems very staged.

Das VAIVAI ist ein sehr modernes, schickes großes Restaurant. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, hätte für meinen Geschmack etwas häufiger an den Tisch kommen können um nach Getränken zu fragen. Das Essen kam sehr schnell nach unserer Bestellung warm an den Tisch. Die Optik der Teller ein Traum. Die Qualität super. Mein Burger war ein wenig zu salzig. Da war der Koch wohl verliebt:)) Die Desserts waren lecker. Der Cappuccino leider wässrig und hätte wärmer sein können. Über die jetzigen Preis muss man nicht reden, sie sind einfach hoch. Eine Kleinigkeit empfand ich als Gast nicht so schön, dass sind die Toiletten. Es waren von 4 vorhandenen Toiletten 3 leider nicht zu benutzen, weil sie sehr verschmutzt waren. Ebenso die Waschbecken Dennoch hatten wir einen sehr schönen Abend. Ich würde immer wieder hierherkommen und es aufjedenfall empfehlen.

Ohne Einschränkung 5 Sterne. Unser Kellner, Suleiman, war aufmerksam, sachkundig und freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und kam gut warm auf den Tisch. Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch in einer Ecke mit Blick auf den Fluss.

Tolle Lokation, super Service und 1a Essen. Neue Gerichte, neue Geschmachserlebnisse. Vorspeisen und Pasta waren hervorragend. Die Pommes zum Burger sowie die Süßkartoffelpommes waren jedoch leider nicht so unser Fall...die einen zu trocken und die anderen zu fettig aber nun, ist auch Geschmackssache. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Das Rumpsteak war qualitativ gut aber es wurde leider fast kalt serviert, bei den Preisen wirklich sehr schade. Die Beilage (Funghi) hätte es mehr Geschmack vertragen, aber da sind die Geschmäcker verschieden. Service und Ambiente wirklich gut.

Essen war super. Leider hat sich meine Frau am Nachtisch so die Finger verbrannt, dass sich Blasen gebildet haben. Die Antwort von der Servicekraft: Selber Schuld. Schade

Volle Punktzahl für das VaiVai in Bremen. Mich wundern einige Bewertungen hier: Der Service war auf Spitzenniveau! Wir haben wir zu dritt jeweils sehr leckere Burger verputzt (geschmacklich top) und uns danach der ausgiebigen Gin-Karte gewidmet. Bedient hat uns eine sehr junge Dame, die das sehr charmant und zackig gemacht hat. Es war an dem Sonntagabend relativ voll und ich konnte keine Kritikpunkte erkennen.

Wir hatten wieder einen tollen Abend mit guten Essen im VaiVai. Der Service ist wirklich super!

Schön gelegenes Restaurant am Weserbahnhof. Eher rustikal eingerichtet, große Portionen, Preise angemessen. Sehr gutes Essen, Service eher zurückhaltend und nicht richtig nett.

Wirklich leckeren Steak. Beilagen sind ok. Kann euch den Anti Pasti Teller empfehlen. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Preislich leicht überteuert.

Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Bremen und immer eine gute Wahl, wenn es mal etwas besonderes sein soll. Mir gefällt das Ambiente mit tollem Blick auf die Weser, die Kellner sind super freundlich und liefern einen tollen Service und das Essen ist vom Steak bis zum Cesar Salad sehr lecker. Immer wieder gerne!!!

Had a fabulous dinner. Rump steak was delicious. Husband had Surf and Turf which he was incredibly impressed with. Both pasta dishes were also very tasty. Highly recommend desserts as well. Our only negative was the fact that where we were seated it was quite cold.

Wir sind zur Weihnachtsfeier dort gewesen. Trotz kurzfristiger Reservierung und der Tatsache das wir leider weniger waren als geplant, hat alles wunderbar funktioniert. Ser Service war hervorragend und sehr aufmerksam. Die Getränke kamen immer sehr zügig. Das Essen schmeckte sehr lecker und die Preise dazu waren auch vollkommen in Ordnung. Sehr empfehlenswert und gerne wieder!

Der beste Steak in Bremen! Die Auswahl an Soßen, Beilagen und Getränke ist nicht zu übertreffen. Alles schmeckt hier vom feinsten 👍🏼 der Service hat leider in den letzten Jahren etwas nachgelassen deshalb ein Stern Abzug aber ansonsten wenn man lecker essen möchte dann definitiv hier 🫶🏼

Unsere Nummer 1 wenn es um qualitativ hochwertige Steaks geht. Die Burger sind auch klasse. Die selbstgemachten Rosmarin Pommes sind der Hammer! Immer einen Besuch wert. Der Kellner sind aufmerksam und kompetent. Je nachdem wo man sitzt, ist es manachmal etwas laut und die Luft ist nicht die Beste. Da die Küche offen ist.

Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, die Wartezeit auf das bestellte Essen war recht kurz. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Hatte ein Burger Menü. Preis Leistung ist gut. Das Restaurant ist gut besucht Reservierung ist meiner Meinung nach sinnvoll.

Tolles Ambiente, tolles Essen, nettes Personal, hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ist nur zu empfehlen

Wir saßen an einem Tisch im hinteren Bereich. Dort war es leider durch die etwas enge Bestuhlung sehr laut. Gespräche vom Nachbartisch störten. Das Steak war gut, aber etwas zu sehr medium. Vielleicht sollte medium/rare ebenfalls angeboten werden, da das Fleisch bis es dann vor dem Gast steht, weiter durchgart. Warum bei diesem Gericht (Surf and Turf) nur der Chimichurri Dip angeboten wird, finde ich schade. Mir hätte ein anderer Dip besser zu Steak und Garnelen gefallen. Unser Fehler war, dass wir die sehr dunklen aber sehr weichen Pommes nicht sofort reklamiert haben. Salat und Dressing waren sehr lecker.

Ich besuchte das Restaurant in Erwartung eines exquisiten Genusses mit dem Tomahawk Steak für 100€. Leider wurde meine Vorfreude getrübt, als das Steak trotz meiner ausdrücklichen Bitte, es im Ganzen zu lassen, zerschnitten serviert wurde. Die Kruste entpuppte sich als dicke, verbrannte Schicht, weit entfernt von dem, was man unter einer Kruste versteht. Obwohl ich ein Medium-Garstufe bestellte, kam das Steak doppelt well done heraus. Verunsichert aß ich es zur Hälfte, bevor ich aufgrund der falschen Zubereitung und des enttäuschenden Geschmacks aufhören musste. Als die Kellnerin nachfragte, schilderte ich meine Situation, woraufhin sie meine Kritik bestätigte und sich entschuldigte. Ich bat um einen Rabatt, nicht um eine vollständige Erstattung. Die Kellnerin kehrte mit einer unhöflichen Ablehnung zurück, mit der Begründung, dass ich das Essen begonnen habe und daher den vollen Betrag zahlen müsse. Obwohl ich anfangs versäumte, das Problem anzusprechen, finde ich es bedauerlich, dass man so hartnäckig auf dieser Entscheidung beharrte und am Ende das Geld einstrich, ohne Dank oder Abschied. Schade, jemanden zu vertreiben, der bereit ist, 100€ für ein Hauptgericht auszugeben.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen dort. Hatten dort Firmentreffen. Unser "Kellner" Thorsten hat sich dennoch nachdem es im Restaurant immer voller und viel später anscheinend ausgebucht und wirklich voll war , sich immer sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Top !
