Expensive but delicious! The furnishings are modern and the view of the Weser is great. The service is great and very attentive. The food is prepared quickly and is extremely tasty. The drink selection is great. It's only because of the open kitchen that the clothes smell a bit like they're being fried.

The Vai Vai in Bremen is absolutely recommended! The Vai Vai burger with fries was excellent – ​​juicy, well-done and full of flavour. You can immediately notice the quality of the ingredients. The staff is super friendly and the waiting time for the food is pleasantly short. Although the prices are slightly higher, the excellent quality more than makes up for it. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. The only disadvantage, unfortunately, is that it is relatively loud and you can't really understand each other. Unfortunately, today we received a table with a bench that was too narrow for the reserved number of seven people for our company event, so that we were squeezed against the wall or had to sit elbow to elbow while eating. However, in response to our complaint, the manager said that the table would be great for eight people, but then refused to personally prove this and squeeze in (even as only the seventh person) due to a lack of space, despite an invitation from our group. At the same time, an entire area in the restaurant where we could have sat comfortably was not used this evening. The manager refused to allow us to move there, commenting that this area would not be used that evening. We have various business lunches in this restaurant every year and don't understand this approach. The external impression is: at VAI VAI it not only doesn't matter at all whether the guests feel comfortable - the manager also makes fun of it if they don't and refuses to make the situation better, even though that would be very easy. @VAI VAI, please do not express regret under this review. Gestern hatte ich die Gelegenheit, ein Groupon-Angebot im Restaurant VaiVai in Bremen auszuprobieren – und das nicht zum ersten Mal. Wir starteten unser kulinarisches Abenteuer mit den Pimientos de Padrón, die anscheinend in der Fritteuse zubereitet wurden. Leider war ich etwas enttäuscht, da der Geschmack durch eine übermäßige Verwendung von Knoblauch überwältigt wurde. Außerdem passte der Aioli-Dip meiner Meinung nach nicht wirklich zu den Pimientos, was die Vorspeise insgesamt weniger gelungen machte. Als Hauptgericht das Bistecca Dry-Aged T-Bone Steak. Leider war das Steak ziemlich zäh und der Garpunkt entsprach nicht ganz meinen Erwartungen – es ging von medium (wie bestellt) auf medium +, was für meinen Geschmack bereits etwas zu durch war. Zu guter Letzt gab es Pommes, die mich ebenfalls etwas enttäuschten: Sie waren zu wabbelig und hatten erneut einen starken Knoblauchgeschmack, der die gesamte Mahlzeit dominierte. Trotz dieser kleinen Mängel möchte ich hervorheben, dass der Service freundlich und aufmerksam war, was das Erlebnis immerhin angenehm machte. Vielleicht gebe ich dem Restaurant eine zweite Chance, denn jeder hat mal einen schlechten Tag. Ich freue mich darauf, beim nächsten Mal bessere Gerichte zu probieren!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to try out a Groupon offer at the VaiVai restaurant in Bremen - and not for the first time. We started our culinary adventure with the Pimientos de Padrón, which appeared to have been prepared in the deep fryer. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed as the flavor was overpowered by an overuse of garlic. In addition, in my opinion, the aioli dip didn't really go well with the pimientos, which made the appetizer less successful overall. The main course is the Bistecca Dry-Aged T-Bone Steak. Unfortunately, the steak was quite tough and the cooking point didn't quite meet my expectations - it went from medium (as ordered) to medium +, which was already a bit too well done for my taste. Last but not least, there were fries, which also disappointed me a bit: they were too wobbly and again had a strong garlic flavor that dominated the entire meal. Despite these minor flaws, I would like to highlight that the service was friendly and attentive, which at least made the experience pleasant. Maybe I'll give the restaurant a second chance, because everyone has a bad day. I look forward to trying better dishes next time!

Really very tasty and the atmosphere is really nice! Both meat dishes and pasta can be enjoyed wonderfully here! You can also get delicious wines here. The staff was very accommodating and gave one or two tips about which wine would go with the meal. Really, really successful evening!

We had lunch at this restaurant during our weekend in Bremen. We ordered 2 pancetta burgers with french fries and then a scoop of vanilla ice cream as dessert. The hamburger was tasty, with a lot of dressing (taleggio cheese, Vai Vai sauce and crunchy bacon). The fries were a little bit over-fried, and there were pieces of garlic inside, so pay attention not to eat them - the mayonnaise was very good though! The location is nice, in a business neighbourhood, hence the business-casual vibe of the restaurant. The price quality ratio tends a bit to the expensive side. The service was good, however, one of the three waiters that assisted us was a bit rushed. All in all, we had a good meal.

Ich war nach dem Geschäft in “Jeans und Arbeitsschuhen” dort und habe mich erst mal sehr auf den Aufenthalt gefreut. Die Auswahl an Essen und Trinken ist reichhaltig und lecker. Was irgendwie aber unangenehm war, war der “Blick” und die “Reaktion” auf die Aussage und Frage, das ich keine Vorspeise möchte. Irgendwie von oben herab und sehr komisch kam es bei mir an. Das ich dann am Ende einen Nachtisch bestellt habe, hat die Sache dann nicht mehr rausgerissen. So richtig wohl gefühlt habe ich mich dann irgendwie nicht mehr, auch wenn die Rechnung “ordentlich” ausfiel. Obs ein zweites Mal gibt weiß ich noch nicht.. Probiere erst mal an der Lokalitäten in Bremen aus die man auch für Geschäftsessen nutzen kann.

Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis der Extraklasse! Dieses Restaurant hat meine Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Der Service war einfach hervorragend – freundlich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Essen war sensationell. Man merkt sofort, dass das Küchenteam mit erstklassigen Zutaten arbeitet und mit viel Liebe und Können grandiose Gerichte zaubert. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss, perfekt abgeschmeckt und wunderschön angerichtet. Ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt ist die Bar: Die Auswahl an Cocktails ist beeindruckend und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass Sonderwünsche hier kein Problem sind. Obwohl der Silver Fizz nicht auf der Karte stand, wurde er mir ohne Zögern gemixt – und er war fantastisch! Ein kleiner Hinweis: Unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren, da das Restaurant sehr gefragt ist. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung – hier passt einfach alles!

The burger was quite good, not outstanding but also better than average. The fries were fried for too long. The portion size could have been a little more. The ambience is actually quite nice, but the ventilation concept urgently needs to be revised. It was so stuffy in the restaurant that October evening that we were all glad to be out again. Wir waren am 01/11 da ,mein Schwiegersohn hatte an dem Tag seinem 25er Geburtstag gefeiert, hab das auch bei der Reservierung geschrieben, jedoch gab es nichts vom Bedienung, keine Gäste, zum beispiel kleine kekse oder Schnaps oder ein happy birthday musik, da frage ich mich warum die Bedienung mir am telefon gesagt daß ich schreiben soll daß der junge Geburtstag hat, ausserdem wir haben einen Tisch genau an den Rückseite von der Küche gehabt, war sehr warm,fast unerträglich, für diesen Rechnung was wir gezahlt haben, waren wir natürlich enttäuscht.es war wirklich ungemütlich.

Very nice restaurant, very good service. Unfortunately, the food was below expectations, especially for the price. Luckily we had a voucher and were able to save some money. Either we were just unlucky with the steak quality, or it's just not that good here. You can get this much better and cheaper elsewhere (even at home). Although the degree of doneness was perfect, it was relatively tough and very dry and hard in places. In this context it didn't bother me so much that I would have had to return it, but I would still have expected more here. The fries tasted good, but could have been a lot crispier. The portions of the side dishes are completely fine, but the sauces should have been at least twice as large at 3 euros. With a regular price of around 170 euros, these points shouldn't be a problem in my opinion. Overall it wasn't bad, but it was a one-time visit due to the price/performance ratio not being right for me.

We have been here several times and the VaiVai deserves five stars in all areas. The only point deduction is for the toilets in the basement. Although there is an elevator, the route is still a bit confusing. This time we were at a company party and here too the food and service were excellent.

A beautiful place to enjoy. We saw a TV report about VaiVai during the week, immediately booked a hotel in Bremen, reserved a table - works great via the website - et voila: we were allowed to be guests there yesterday. The team is professional and really competent. Very hospitable. No step is too many for them, “going the extra mile” for their guests! It was even suggested and organized to serve the starter and an excellent gin mix (the house specialties by the way) on the terrace, the main course in the restaurant and the dessert again on the romantically lit terrace with a view of the Weser. What's on the table: Huge compliments all around to the kitchen team. They can do something. By the way, we come from near Siegburg - and will definitely be back again.

I like going to Vaivai! Top quality, chic atmosphere and friendly staff

We visited the restaurant with a voucher and made a reservation in advance. This is possible via the website and also allows you to specify further wishes or tips in a comment field. We asked for a secluded/quiet seat here for health reasons. When we arrived, no such seat was reserved, instead we were asked where we wanted to sit. Only after repeating again that it "didn't matter" whether inside or outside, as long as it was quiet, were we allowed to get a table outside. This was in a quiet location, with a view of the sunset over the Weser. The volume in the restaurant is significantly higher than what you are used to in other restaurants, as certain service areas are directly connected to the open area. You should be aware of this if you cannot escape outside. As always, the food was absolutely outstanding. We had the Dry Aged Bistecca alla Fiorentina for two, the accompanying fries and salad were completely sufficient. We were well fed and the quality was remarkable. Fries and salad were just as impressive as the meat itself. The homemade lemonades are highly recommended as drinks. The composition may sound unusual at first, but every single drink has something unique. Acerba absolutely convinced me with the sweetness of the maple syrup and the spiciness of the ginger, and the sour lime juice rounds it all off as the perfect summer refreshing drink. Vaivai is clearly on the higher end but worth every penny. I would be happy to come back here at any time.

Nice restaurant and great ambience. There were 4 of us and we sat inside. Service was a bit hesitant. Whether ordering, bringing drinks and then the food - good things take time. It would also have been nice if the service had come by every now and then. Maybe it's because we were almost the only guests inside. The outdoor area was fuller and more important. Drinks and food were good, but also quite expensive.

When I've been there, I've never had an unfriendly or unmotivated service person, but always someone who is available to give advice as you would like! The menu is varied and steak and burger lovers will definitely get their money's worth here, but vegetarian alternatives are also offered that are just as tasty and creative. The Vai Vai is a very large and tastefully decorated restaurant. It also offers a very large terrace with a view of the water. There are a number of parking spaces available in the surrounding streets. The service here is really attentive and friendly. The food is also impressive. I had a Big Baron Bacon Burger, which was only offered as a special offer for a short time. The top bun was placed next to it, a bit unusual, but it was also extremely high. The taste was perfect; great bun and with the patty I was even asked beforehand how I would like it. Unfortunately, very few people do that. I chose medium and that's how it was served. The fries were homemade and not from a bag. These also tasted excellent. The prices may be a little higher than other restaurants, but the quality and service are definitely worth it. That's why I'll definitely come back.

The restaurant is located directly on the Weser in Überseestadt. A terrace is also available. The restaurant is modernly furnished and you have a direct view of the kitchen. There is also a bar area if you just want a drink. I can recommend the burgers, steaks and the homemade fries with rosemary and garlic. The best for me. The food is presented very attractively and for us the cooking point was always as desired. A little more expensive, but for us the price/performance ratio is right. 4 stars because we sometimes have problems finding a parking space.

Sorry but we were more than disappointed with our visit this time. The food was generally mediocre, the fries were soft and the bruschetta was too wobbly. The avocado burger was bland and had no seasoning at all. After asking the service whether it was tasty, I mentioned the lack of seasoning in the burger, then I was looked at blankly and it wasn't addressed at all. Due to a change in the weather we had to continue eating inside, but after the shower was over we wanted to go back out on the terrace as it was very warm in the restaurant. As we walked past, the boss snapped at us that the terrace was now closed because more storms were expected. So beautiful so good, we were then simply left standing there and ignored. What was much better was that there were still more people sitting outside and being served...a mess. Even when it was clear that the weather was no longer changing, we weren't even asked if we wanted to drink something. I used to always enjoy going to vaivai but that's all over for now. Just a really bad evening yesterday, sorry.

Hervorragendes Fleisch, aber Abzüge in der B-Note. Um es vorweg zu sagen, die Qualität des Fleisches ist sehr gut, Garpunkte werden getroffen und die Preise sind entsprechend. Das Tartar als Vorspeise war sehr gut angemacht, aber die Portion für den Preis eindeutig zu klein. Das Filetsteak mit 2 Garnelen war hervorragend, dafür waren die Pommes alles andere als kross. Der Kellner versuchte diese und meinte auch, dass man das normalerweise besser hinbekomme. Berechnet wurde es trotzdem; wenn man denn mal einen Grappa oder einen Espresso aufs Haus angeboten hätte, wäre es excellent gewesen. Der Burger meines Kollegen war vom Fleisch auch sehr gut, dafür hätte das Brötchen etwas länger auf den Grill gedurft. Generell darf man sich die Frage stellen, wofür ein solches Lokal so eine Anzahl von Dips benötigt, bei der Qualität des Fleisches würden Salz und Pfeffer genügen.
