USHI in München

Just had a 8 course food menu with a 5 course wine tasting. Such an amazing experience the staff made us feel soo welcome and the food was amazing. Went there as an early birthday dinner and they made me feel soo special. Really loved it and thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We were at Ushi for a birthday and ordered the 5-course omakase menu. The evening was an absolute dream and I haven't eaten as well as I did here in a very long time! The fish is more than excellent and a great taste experience. Dessert was also incredibly delicious, each dish a work of art in texture, taste and presentation. Particularly noteworthy is the incredibly friendly service! We even got a little serenade and a candle in the dessert to celebrate our birthday, which rounded off the evening perfectly. Overall, we really liked the small, familiar but elegant atmosphere and we can't wait to come back!

Sushi goes Bogenhausen. Sauce Fusion. High quality fish mixed with all kinds of strong sauces. Caviar, toro, truffel, wagyu and fois gras. I really missed gold leaf on top. Rice texture is good. Rice seasoning not needed because of the sauces. Good fish and some craftman ship neither make fine dining nor authentic product focused Japanese cuisine. It was more an American experience. Not worth a second visit.

Rena was absolutely wonderful! The food and overall experience, excellent. Space was cozy and modern. We enjoyed every moment. I’ve never been a big fan of sushi, but this visit completely changed my mind. Highly recommend! We had the 7-course menu. Shout out to the chef/s in the kitchen. It was a birthday dinner 😊

This restaurant is something very special. Eating in an intimate atmosphere as there aren't many seats. The service is super nice and very competent. No matter what you order, it really tastes excellent! It's definitely worth it.

An unforgettable evening at USHI! I love small, personal restaurants, and this one absolutely thrilled me. The restaurant is run by a great duo: the sushi master comes from Hokkaido and impresses with his precision and skill, while his wife from Kobe manages the service with warmth and professionalism. Their perfectly coordinated interaction makes the evening a very special experience. We chose the 7-course omakase menu, and every dish was a delight - artfully presented, with incredibly fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. We also ordered sake. The atmosphere at USHI is calm, relaxed and incredibly authentic. With just a few seats, you feel like you're on a culinary trip to Japan. The restaurant is very exclusive, so be sure to reserve well in advance. For me one of the best culinary experiences in Munich – clear recommendation!

Unbelievable, best sushi I've ever eaten. The couple will take care of you with excellent service. The quality of the fish surpasses anything I have ever eaten. So the conclusion of the whole thing is definitely recommended, it is a bit expensive but if you have the necessary change you have to take the chance and go to ushi immediately!!!!

Inconspicuous from the outside, very cozy inside and a very warm welcome from Rena. We chose the 7 course menu for a special occasion and were not disappointed, filling and very fresh and tasty. Although the price is higher, it is worth the experience. Gladly again!

Wir haben NOCH NIE so schlecht japanisch gegessen wie hier. Die Architektur und das Ambiente sind sehr schön, der Service bemüht freundlich. Aber das Essen, um das es hier in erster Linie gehen sollte, verdient keinen Stern. Wir haben à la carte gegessen. Der Salat mit Meeresfrüchten bestand aus einem Haufen Babyspinat, um den ein Dutzend Fischwürfel gruppiert waren. Von Meeresfrüchten keine Spur. Die Nigiri bestanden aus mit Sojasauce getränkten Reishäppchen, über die 4 verschiedene Sorten nach nichts schmeckendem Fisch drapiert waren. Keine Deko. Die Hauptgänge waren Shrimps in Tempura, die in einer Mayonnaisesauce schwammen und dadurch total matschig waren. Ich hatte Gyoza, angeblich mit foie gras, die geschmacklich nicht zu entdecken war. Dekoriert waren beiden Gerichte identisch mit einem Löffel Frühlingszwiebeln. Qualität der Zutaten, Variation, Dekoration, Können? Komplette Fehlanzeige. Interessant ist auch, daß der Besitzer alle negativen Kritiken von Google löschen läßt, soviel zur Glaubwürdigkeit von Google-Bewertungen.

Tolles Erlebnis, sehr süßes kleines Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente. Das Essen war wirklich sehr sehr lecker, ich würde es jedem nur empfehlen.

Wunderbares, kleines Restaurant mit hervorragender Küche und Service. Die Chefin bedient selbst, während ihr Mann in der Küche erstklassiges Omakase Menu zubereitet. Sushi in 3 Gängen, ungewöhnliche Zubereitung, absolut wunderbar. Auch alles weiteren Gänge des Omakase Menus wren wunderbar. Das Lokal ist klein, in einem schönen Häuschen am Park. Sehr schön für Pärchen, für große Gruppen zu klein. Absolut zu empfehlen, wir gehen wieder hin.

If I could I would give more than 5 stars. The evening was perfect all around and is exactly what you imagine a “perfect dinner” to be: you immediately feel at home because of the security that the ambience creates. The service from Shigerusan's wife is extremely warm, courteous and polite and individual requests are easily addressed. The individual courses of the Signature Omakase menu are extremely finely tuned and you have to experience the complexity of the flavors yourself to be able to understand them. Two personal highlights: A scallop yuzu sashimi and the miso cappuccino (I've never experienced a dashi that was so umami). At the end there was a personal birthday serenade 😊 御馳走様でした

Beautiful, small, very stylishly furnished restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Incredibly warm, yet professional service that is extremely rare. Really great! We had the 7 course omakase and were completely inspired - we have never eaten such good sushi! But not only the sushi, but also every other dish on the menu was so finely balanced in terms of taste and in exactly the right portion that you practically say "Wow!" with every course. said. Truly a masterpiece, from start to finish. This is by far the best Japanese restaurant in Munich! Arigatou Gozaimasu for this fantastic evening!

In my opinion the best thing you can eat when it comes to sushi in Germany. It is fantastic as is the hospitality of the owners.

This is a very nice restaurant run by a Japanese couple. I don't think many people know about it because it's in a hidden location far from the bustling city of Munich, but I was surprised at how delicious it was. I went there with a German guy who knows a lot about Japan, and they also said it was delicious. Although fish is the main ingredient in Japanese food, it goes well with wine and sake, and I can see why it is loved by non-Japanese people as well. The sauces used for the appetizers included wasabi and yuzu, which are representative of Japan, as well as truffles, which are popular in Europe, and the flavors were never boring. It's not Japanese food that you can easily go out to eat, but I think it's perfect for dinner on important occasions such as anniversaries. (Actually, I would like to go there every day.) Both the chef and his wife are friendly people, and since I was in Germany and had never had the chance to casually converse in Japanese, I felt very at ease and comfortable. I will visit you again when I come to Munich!

The sauces are sensational and the fish is great. Service is super personal and relaxed. Wine list not huge but good. Absolute favorite place!

Absolute recommendation! We sat right at the counter and could see Shigeru Fujita watch the food being prepared. We had the 7 course omakase menu and every single course was just perfect. We've never had Japanese food so good! Shigeru's wife Rena, who does the service, was super warm and very attentive. We immediately felt comfortable. We had such a great evening and will definitely come back!

We went the second time around to Ushi and as last time the food was perfect from flavors to textures using specifically creates sauces for each bite, and souvide prepared fish or slow smokes, depending on the dishes. Including accompanying wines and sake we paid €450 for two, certainly not a bargain but worth every penny.

Ein besonderer Ort. Hier wird mit Können und Liebe das vielleicht beste Sushi der Stadt dem Kunden mit herzlichem und persönlichem Service serviert. Alle Speisen waren herausragend, wir hatten einen besonderen Abend, der in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Es hat seinen Preis, aber es ist ihn wert. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Small restaurant, pavilion surrounded by a garden. Shigeru Fujita offers absolute high-end sushi there that has absolutely nothing to do with what you generally get as sushi for 20.00. Omakase Menu is a real recommendation. Don't ask, just enjoy. There was also a great wine accompaniment, which in our case was perfectly coordinated. It was a wonderful evening full of positive energy. You come, feel the positive energy, you leave happy and in my case with the next reservation.

A special place, great decor and lovely ambience. The service is super friendly and accommodating - everything is explained well. The food was very good with interesting flavor combinations. Negative point: everything was served way too quickly and in a mess. The starter was served at the same time as the aperitif with crispy rice. The first main course came immediately after, the second There was a longer time gap so that we had to share. Overall, the event was over after an hour and just under 200 euros.

Omakase Menu ist eine wirkliche Empfehlung. Nicht fragen, sondern einfach geniessen. Dazu eine tolle Weinbegleitung die in unserem Fall super abgestimmt war. Es war ein wundervoller Abend voll mit positiver Energie. Man kommt, spürt die positive Energie, man geht glücklich und in meinem Fall gleich mit der nächsten Reservierung.

Although this small building used to be a public toilet (as I was told by the owner) don't worry - the ambience is marvelous, despite it's small size. Staff was very friendly and helpful - we even got the list of wines server when we asked (handwritten - thanks for the effort!). Although the prices are on the higher end I think it's totally worth it! The food was outstanding - chef Shigeru Fujita is doing a fantastic job! Will surely come back for another bigger occasion. Ein Restaurant der gehobenen japanischen Küche für einen besonderen Anlass, wo der japanische Küchenchef ein kompromissloser Meister seines Fachs ist, bietet ein Gefühl von Omakase-Atmosphäre und einen angenehmen Gast. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, jedes servierte Gericht wird vom Kellner zum Verständnis kommentiert. Es werden Gerichte serviert, bei denen sich jede Zutat und jedes Fischstück perfekt ergänzt. Wenn dem Chefkoch der Schnitt eines Fischstücks nicht gefällt, gibt er es Ihnen nicht, sondern schneidet nur das Beste ab. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

The omakase menu at USHI is incredibly good. The best Suhsi I've eaten so far. We were allowed to sit directly at the bar and watch the chef prepare the food. There were several courses and one was better than the other. My highlights were the eel, mackerel & scallop sushi and the miso soup. The service was excellent and very attentive. The waitress explained to us what we had in front of us for each course. The quality comes at a price, but it is completely justified. The omakase menu is highly recommended for a special occasion.

We had a great dinner at USHI. None of us had heard of the place before but that made it even more special. We ordered the 5-course menu and it was a great choice. All of us agreed that it was the best and most authentic sushi we ever had outside of Japan - everything was just perfectly aligned, from looks to taste to the outstanding service. We really did not have anything to complain about. Place is very cozy and feels extremely special. A true hidden gem!

Wunderschöne und sehr sehr leckere Sushi Kreationen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre in einem klitzekleinen Häuschen. Wenn man Glück hat, kann man den Meister bei der Arbeit beobachten oder er zeigt, wie er seinen dryaged Fisch macht. Nur um auf die Toilette zu gehen, muss man einmal raus und und und Eck, was bei Schneeregen eine Herausforderung sein kann - aber kein Problem ist. Kommen sehr gerne wieder ☺️ toller Abend

Es war wirklich ein toller Abend. Tolles Essen, wir kommen bald wieder.

Waren hier zum Essen eingeladen. Was den Service betrifft, muß ich sagen, ganz hervorragend. Was mir persönlich nicht so gefallen hat, dass wir direkt neben der Eingangstür gesessen sind. Wir haben uns das 7 Gänge Menü gegönnt. Wir haben zum ersten Mal Japanisch gegessen und sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Speisen haben vorzüglich geschmeckt und waren ganz toll angerichtet. Wir haben dazu zwei Flaschen Wasser und eine Flasche Rose dazu bestellt. Auf den Bildern sind die einzelnen Gänge zu sehen. Die Größe der Portionen täuscht. Wir sind alle statt geworden. Preis Leistung gehoben 😀. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder.

Toller Service, interessantes Essen und super lecker. Man kann 7 Gänge, 5 Gänge oder auch à la carte bestellen. Dazu gibt es eine gut ausgewählte, kleine, internationale Weinkarte. 5 Gänge für 95€ haben mich zumindest völlig gesättigt. Sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen wieder. Danke!!

Kleines und gemütliches Restaurant. Hervorragender Service und liebevoll zusammengestellte Menüs. Ein einzigartiges Geschmackserlebnis! Wir haben das 5 Gänge Menü gewählt und zusätzlich das Sashimi Set, das Dessert des Tages (japanischer Schokoladen Chiffon Cake) und Matcha Crêpe Cake bestellt. Die Fisch Qualität ist ausgezeichnet. So konnte man per QR Code Scan alle Eigenschaften wie Fettgehalt, Gewicht, Größe zurückverfolgen. Alles sehr transparent gehalten - großes Plus! Leider haben wir keinen Platz an der Theke bekommen. Der gute Service und die hingebungsvolle Art uns die Gerichte und deren Zusammensetzung zu erläutern hat uns gut vertröstet. Wärmste Empfehlung! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
