Wow, really recommendable, fresh food, really friendly staff, no long wait, price/performance ratio is really great, definitely the best Turkish restaurant in Frankfurt!!!!

Delicious and fresh food. It took a while for the waiter to notice you, and you practically had to ask for him to come over, but the food was delicious. €17 for an Urfa plate is a hefty price, but it's worth it.

I was truly impressed by the Turkish restaurant! The meat was incredibly fresh and perfectly grilled—succulent, tender, and full of flavor. Every bite was a delight. The prices are rather high, but absolutely worth every cent. The quality of the food and the authentic taste experience definitely justify the price. I'm not sure if I'm a Turkish person, but I'm a Turkish person.

We've been to Urfa Grillhaus many times – a popular spot serving classic Turkish cuisine. This time, for a change, we also tried the grill house across the street. Both restaurants are busy and offer similar dishes – I had a doner kebab plate in each. The taste was really good, with decent portions, nothing to complain about. Both places are about €3 above average in price – that's something to be aware of. In a direct comparison, I'd say I enjoyed the food across the street a bit more. I personally prefer the decor at Urfa – it's more modern and appealing. The restaurant across the street has a more traditional feel, like you'd expect from a vacation, with less attention to detail. The service at Urfa depends on who's serving – sometimes friendly, sometimes more matter-of-fact. Nevertheless, Urfa remains a good place for Turkish food with solid quality.

I am very disappointed with my visit. The staff was extremely disrespectful – one person with glasses, in particular, stood out to me with her racist behavior. If it were possible, I would give less than one star. I will definitely never visit this place again and absolutely cannot recommend it.

I ordered a kebab plate. Unfortunately, after about 10 minutes, I was informed that the fryer wasn't working and there were no fries. Nobody can do anything about that. It was annoying, but I ended up ordering a regular kebab. The service was friendly. The kebab was good. The area...well, it was busy. Loud. Overall, it was good. The prices are too high, though. 9 euros for a not-so-large kebab. 3.30 euros for a 0.33 liter Coke Zero.

Perfect, I felt like I was in Turkey

We went to the restaurant after a concert. They were renovating the ambiance, so it only gives it 3 stars, otherwise it would have been 5. The staff was fantastic, especially the owners. The kebab was delicious, different from the others, and the portion was really large, but just right for me. Afterwards, they offered me tea; the service was absolutely top-notch.

We went because it was halal, but it wasn't tasty. The mosques were closed, unfortunately. Also, it was expensive. There was no interest because it was full and the staff was running around.

My friend and I only ordered tea and soup, but both were delicious. The soup was served with flatbreads, which made the meal truly complete. The waiter was friendly and attentive, the service was fast and high-quality. The atmosphere in the place was very pleasant, with a warm, almost family-like atmosphere. The restaurant certainly seems to be very popular. We were there in the early evening and it was very busy, but we still managed to get a seat without a reservation. Most of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The selection was nicely presented with pictures on the menu, so you could imagine what was on offer. The food itself was beautifully presented and extremely delicious. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't quite as pleasant, as it was very loud and a bit untidy, or the waiters simply couldn't keep up. There was trash and leftover food everywhere on the floor. Nevertheless, we would definitely come back if we were in the area.

I ate lamb ribs here. Compared to other Turkish restaurants, the grilling and taste were on a whole other level. My friend who went with me said that if there was a restaurant like this near his house, he would probably become a regular.

Best place to eat around Frankfurt

We each had a plate of Ali Nazik, and it was incredibly delicious! The sauce, along with the lamb and bread, was a perfect combination. We also had a really sweetly presented plate of Sigara Börek, which were still really hot and crispy.

Unfortunately a total fail. The food was ok, but I don't think I've ever experienced such poor customer service in Frankfurt. Try it out. Unfortunately for us it means: never again!

Directly at Höchst train station. If the weather is good you can also sit outside. The view and surroundings are not the most beautiful corner of Höchst... but the food tastes very good. The Ayran and Künefe as dessert were also very tasty.

Ordered 3 x lentil soup. Portion and price performance is good. Unfortunately, the lentil soup didn't really taste like traditional lentil soup. Was more watery. But I would like to try something different next time and rate it again.

I went out to eat with two friends yesterday. Super friendly, fast service. For the first Adana I've tried in Hesse, this is absolutely amazing. The Mercimek is also absolutely fantastic, incredibly refreshing 💚 All in all, perfect. We'd love to come back.

An absolute disaster – never again! I should have turned around as soon as I entered. An unpleasant smell of sweat and old grease hung in the air, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was loud and chaotic. We had to wait 30 minutes before the staff even paid attention to us, despite our repeated attempts to get their attention. When our order was finally taken, the staff seemed annoyed and disorganized. Later, the waiters started loudly arguing instead of attending to the customers – an absolute no-go! Then the drama continued: Our food didn't arrive for 45 minutes, and even then, we were brought the wrong dish three times. When the "correct" food finally arrived, we discovered that parts of our order were missing – but of course, they were still charged for it! When we finally confronted the waiter about it, we would have at least expected an apology. Instead, he became rude, unfriendly, and started arguing as if it were our fault! Absolutely disrespectful and rude. As for the food itself: lukewarm and disappointing – certainly not the quality you'd expect from a good Turkish restaurant.

Eating here always feels like a short visit to the oriental part of Turkey. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the meat, vegetables, salad, and bread are all top-quality. Highly recommended if you're in the area or even willing to make a detour. A visit to Frankfurt Höchst is definitely worth it.

Even though we hadn't made a reservation and everything was already booked, they followed up and gave us seats for four. The call to prayer was also played for breaking the fast, and we could pray upstairs! Truly commendable! When ordering, they forgot to put an egg on the pide, but Serdal quickly rectified the mistake with a meat doner kebab plate. Very attentive and friendly. We're from Cologne, the place was recommended to us, and it was a good decision.

Ate kebab. Meat wasn't freshly cut and had probably been sitting for a long time, so it was dry and not that good to eat. Salad was fresh and tasty, sauces had very good taste but at €9 it was definitely too expensive for what it was.

I actually really liked the urfa snack bar. They have a good atmosphere and are well staffed. Unfortunately, I increasingly have the impression that they are skimping on the quality of their offerings and are not afraid to make faux pas even in front of their customers... So I have had to witness several times now how lukewarm meat was put into the kebab for customers, including myself, from a pot to the left of the kebab grill, while hot meat was cut fresh from the skewer for other customers. I just find that disgusting and disrespectful, hence a 4* deduction for food and service.

If you want typical Anatolian food, this is the right place for you. Everything tastes the way it should taste. Friendly staff, good parking.

We announced that we would be coming to the restaurant 2 hours before going to the restaurant on a Saturday evening, when it was crowded, but we were told 'you can come, sister, no problem'. Our meals arrived approximately 45-50 minutes after we ordered our meals, and by this point not even dry bread was brought to our table. What kind of a fireplace man is this, why don't they bring any appetizers? As if that wasn't enough, a long hair grew in my food. They apologized and our drinks were provided by the venue. There was a lot of salt in the meat dishes, it leaves a strong taste in the mouth even hours after eating. I guess their aim was to make more customers and more money with fewer people.

Unfortunately my Dürüm was a disappointment. You could hardly taste the minced meat because there was just far too little in it. I definitely expected more for the price.

I have been a guest here for many years and can only recommend it. The food here is cooked/grilled to perfection. My favorites are the kebab, pide, ayran and lahmacun. The meat from the kebab is very well seasoned and juicy. If you order spicy you also get hot leaf peppers (Pulbiber). Many kebab shops also offer leaf peppers (Pulbiber) but they are not spicy. Price-performance ratio is very good. The service is also very good. The employees are very friendly and nice. You can also get the food quickly, be it on site to eat in or to take away.

They increased their prices twice within 2 weeks after they had already increased them twice before. 9.50 for a Dürüm with three pieces of meat on it and it was completely cold. Willless.

Adana Kebap to go: absolutely great! From the charcoal grill! With bulgur, salad, rice & sauce. Really really good. 17.-€. Pizza salami is also delicious. The Urfa Grillhouse can be highly recommended!

The best kebab restaurant in Frankfurt

I discovered the Urfa Man Gala Grillhouse (formerly Urfa Grill) in 2008. It was shown to me at the time by my girlfriend, now my wife. We have been regular customers ever since. I can confidently say that I am well versed in Turkish cuisine, especially kebabs. That's why I can say that the Urfa Man Gala Grillhouse is the best kebab shop in Frankfurt for me. The only drawback I personally see is that the atmosphere suffers when the store is busy (e.g. a birthday party or something similar). Unfortunately, in such cases it becomes very loud, which affects the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

It's really run down, let alone the expensive kebab. Today, for example, I found a fingernail in my kebab and if you paid so much for it, it's a disgrace, the service also has long waiting times and it just doesn't taste the same anymore. Plus, to be precise, I don't have any carrots in it my kebab which was still in there. I wouldn't go there again :(

The food at Urfa is really delicious, but the service (the restaurant certainly knows who they are talking about) is really very unfriendly and seems annoyed. That really ruins your meal and he was like that with our neighbors too, so hopefully it shouldn't be our fault since we didn't start any trouble with him (generally never). He really used to be in a better mood. All meat dishes, especially Adana, are highly recommended.
