Worst case I wanted to order a classic Dürüm at the counter but was directed to the waiter. I didn't think any further, sat down and ordered a Dürüm from the waiter. At the end he brought me a Dürüm without meat and with a separate salad. When I pointed out that I had ordered a Dürüm with meat, he smiled and said he was sorry but there was nothing more he could do. In another moment, I watched other guests, who obviously didn't look European, being served at the counter and being made normal dürüm. It was clearly communicated here that I was not welcome. The whole thing was covered up with a smile and acted as if this service was completely normal. #Racism

Spontaneously eat a pizza or kebab after a concert, Absolutely a recommendation in Frankfurt. The prices are okay and the food is delicious. Both the meat and the pizza dough were tasty and not too dry. We'll definitely come back

Unfortunately, the kebab has become more expensive, which I can understand if the quality is correspondingly high. However, this has diminished LOTS. The bread was a disaster. I used to really enjoy being there, but now it's more ugh than yuck 🤷🏼‍♂️and everyone there seems to be your brother

I have been a regular customer for 12 years and the quality was and still is very good! You can see what's going on in the store and how many guests eat there every day... Keep it up!

Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes has dropped abruptly and the prices have gone up. The bread is rock hard and no longer fresh. The Adana Kebap contains small hard pieces of cartilage and the sauce portion and salad portion as a side dish have become significantly smaller. In addition, the drinks no longer come cold, but lukewarm. We waited almost 45 minutes for the food after ordering from the waiter. That's a shame, I always enjoyed eating there. Then I'll probably have to switch to another kebab shop.

A new employee forgot to bring us our Coke today. When we asked for a bill after lunch we said we didn't get our coke but that was okay because we were leaving. At that moment she said she would bring us our coke even though we didn't want it. We didn't want to drink it at dinner, now that we're about to leave, because she forgot. But she was so self-centered and didn't even want to hear about it, so we ended up sitting there for 10 minutes longer after she brought us coke (which we didn't want) but we thought it was free because it was her fault, that she had forgotten and we didn't want to be rude. After we drank our coke and asked again for a receipt, she brought us a receipt with a coke (€6) included! Honestly this was the worst experience with a waiter who didn't even care to listen to the guests.

Very good, beautiful and delicious

I am very satisfied and would love to go there again and again. Stone wood oven is a must for me anyway if I want to eat lahmacun or pide. I now drive to Frankfurt Höchst specifically to eat here. The staff is also very friendly.

Update on September 17, 2024: After a long time the restaurant was given another chance. What can I say… The service was very nice and accommodating and the food was very good. Urfa now deserves 5 stars for this. But why only 4 stars? The waiting time for the food was almost an hour, despite normal occupancy. It would be helpful to make the waiting time pleasant for the guest, for example by providing flatbread, instead of making them wait in front of an empty table. We'll be back and if there's flatbread, for example, to bridge the waiting time, it will be 5 stars. Update on March 10, 2023: I received an email from Google today informing me that Urfa is complaining that it feels its rights have been violated by my review. However, since the above review corresponds to my experience and this can even be confirmed by my companions, I would like to reiterate this review here before Urfa has it removed by Google instead of convincing the customer with a positive experience in his restaurant. In order to give Urfa a chance to not only be rated positively by deleting negative reviews, but to actually have earned its positive rating, I will visit the restaurant again and then adjust the rating based on my new experiences. Unfortunately, things here are no longer what they used to be. From the waiting time to be served (and no, it wasn't busy) to the price/performance ratio. As an example, the picture of a kebab plate is attached. This is not a children's plate, but rather a portion for an adult on a small dessert plate.

We really enjoy eating there often. We also love the loving and hospitable atmosphere that the employee Amira creates there every time. Will come often in the future. Thanks for that.

Turkish food, very nice people, fast and tastes very tasty.

The food is just so “okay”, you can eat it if you’re hungry, but nothing more. It's not crazy, so nothing special at all. The kebab is like a middle-class kebab, which I think is a shame, people give good reviews here, but real talk.. Compared to Darmstadt Effendi's kebab, this one is nothing... :/... so yes. If you want some good food, don't go to the kebabs at the train station in Frankfurt-Höchst 👍

I went with my guests last week, the service is a disgrace, the taste is completely gone, the prices are high, the refreshments are gone, I cannot recommend it to anyone, I am very sorry, I will never pass by it again.

We ordered Adana Kebab and the meat was mostly cartilage and bones. It was also partly raw. The piece of bread served on the plate was not fresh and the service was quite unfriendly. Only the rice was well done. I would advise you not to eat here.

We took this long route just to eat there. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by a warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. The friendly and attentive staff made me immediately feel comfortable and in safe hands. The restaurant's menu offers a diverse selection of delicious Turkish dishes. The food was very tasty, the service was very good! The waitress in the headscarf was very helpful and caring. My friend was surprised by such good service. Thank you for a nice evening. I absolutely cannot recommend this store. The staff in the kitchen are extremely rude and keep you waiting forever because they are constantly engrossed in private conversations. My food was sitting on the counter for a long time, but I didn't get it even though I was standing right in front of it. Finally, my food was simply reheated – including salad and sauce! The result was inedible and had to be thrown away. They seriously reheated it because it got cold on the counter! This is truly unbelievable and completely unacceptable.

I recommend it for its caring, tolerant, friendly staff and delicious food.

Simply bad. Bad food, expensive prices, bad staff and hygiene is in short supply.

Unfortunately, this place gets worse every time I go. I went 4-5 times in a year and waited for the first two courses in all of them, but unfortunately some of the dishes were either bland or very burnt. I hope they will show the same care to every customer in every order in the future.

I was charged €90.50 instead of €9.50 for the meal. I was wondering why the amount wasn't shown on the EC device. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until the next day. So be careful when paying.

The soup was only brought with our food after 40 minutes (!) after repeated requests. When we told the waiter that he should cancel the soup since we had now had our main course, he just said that we should just eat it now. We spent a total of 1.5 hours because our food came so late. The waiter (an older man with glasses) was very unfriendly. We won't eat here again! We were also charged €7 for “various dishes”, so be careful when you get the bill!

Visited this place recently and had an okay experience. It didn’t take long for me to sit and get my food even though it was close to peak hours. Maybe it helped that it was Sunday. The service was good but the food not as much, I felt almost tasteless. Given other reviews here, I’m rather disappointed on the disappointed team.

I ordered a kebab plate for 13 euros, but what I received was far below my expectations. The packaging contained very, very little meat, salad and rice. I practically saw more packaging than food. The meat wasn't even veal. For the price I would have expected much more, both in quantity and quality. It's a shame that I was so disappointed for 13 euros. I definitely won't buy anything here again and unfortunately I can't recommend the restaurant.

There's nothing wrong with the ambience and service, but unfortunately I don't think the kebab plates are as great as they once were. There was no salad on the plate and the great red paste is no longer available. The meat was also very dry. Unfortunately disappointed this time.

We ate shish liver and ali gentle It was like fast food, not like an Urfa restaurant. Salad appetizer no mashing There is no lavash. I ate the liver with cold pita Ali's yoghurt was sour because it was heated in the microwave.

Urfa Man Gala - Disappointing experience Unfortunately, my visit to Urfa Man Gala was a huge disappointment. I was looking forward to a delicious kebab, but the experience left a lot to be desired. First of all the service was very unfriendly and disinterested. The staff seemed uninterested in caring for the guests and seemed irritated when I asked a question about the different sauces. The kebab itself was also a disappointment. The meat was dry and barely seasoned, and the bread was soggy. The side dishes didn't look or taste fresh. Overall, the kebab lacked the flavor and freshness that you would expect from a good kebab. Additionally, the store itself wasn't particularly clean. The tables were sticky and the floor was dirty, which further worsened the overall experience. I was hoping to find a new favorite kebab shop, but unfortunately I won't be recommending Urfa Man Gala and certainly won't be returning.

We went out for a family dinner, we ordered 4 types of plates, 3 of them arrived wrong, 1 of them did not arrive at all and we waited a long time until the dishes arrived.

My favorite restaurant for Turkish specialties! We ate here practically every week for years with half the company. The second floor was always spontaneously opened for us ;) My company has moved, but the restaurant is still a popular meeting place with colleagues :) The Adana Kebap was the favorite of most colleagues, mine is the Dönerli Pide (Pide with doner meat). Best with extra garlic sauce! The service was always very friendly and the food is unbeatable!

Very authentic and nice restaurant. The food is very tasty and super fresh. We had the mixed pide, tavuk sis and minced meat skewers with rice and tomatoes. Everything tasted very good and the quality was great. At the end there was tea on the house. Just walked in without an appointment on a Saturday afternoon. See you soon 👍🏻

Very aloof shop and boss. A burnt skewer came to our table. The waiter and the boss then started negotiating with us that we should only pay 20% for the skewer. You can't make a refund - ridiculous bunch. Burn the food and want some more of the money. We won't come anymore.

My experience on May 12, 2024 shortly after 4 p.m. (order for 12 people) I try not to go into details. I placed a large order (doner, pide and lahmacun approx. For 12 people). Unfortunately in the “Takeaway” area it is a disaster. I had never received a proper order before, I had a surprise at home, something was always missing. I just hope the owner takes the time to watch the surveillance camera video from May 12, 2024. 1- Rushing to take the order. I tell him 6x and get 7x. Unfortunately, the customer is not really listened to at the counter. 2- I was very annoyed that the employee blatantly lied to my face when I spoke to him that half of my orders were incorrect or something was missing and he claimed that everything was fine. Luckily I checked the order on site. (As I said, I don't want to go into details). In the end his colleague came and sorted out the incorrect orders. I think the restaurant is really TOP and the food is great. I will continue to eat but no more takeaway and I recommend it. PS: I will definitely change my customer review at some point, at the moment I'm really annoyed by the employee's behavior. 1 employee ruins everything.

It's a pretty average place, but the service is extremely bad. Especially the Iranian waitress, completely overwhelmed, disrespectful, without decency and not attentive. The bill also asked which pide we paid for (even though we only ordered one pide). It's an absolute disgrace if you leave over 100 euros here! As a boss, I would think of something! Plus there was no STILL WATER?! A disrespect.

We went here for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. The full menu was not available, but they had a few great breakfast options and soup. We shared the menemen and a platter with eggs, cheese, and various vegetables. The food and service were excellent.

Beware of rip-offs! Vegetarian kebab (€7) and mega kebab (€9) ordered, but €23 was charged to the card!! I was only able to understand this when I received the receipt. The very last thing, very dubious. Never again. When I pointed out the incorrect billing, I only received a simple “sorry” and I was not even refunded the correct amount of the difference of €7, but only €6. Incredibly bold and the entire behavior speaks for itself.

We arrived after a 4 hour drive and thought we would have a nice Turkish meal and found this restaurant but unfortunately it wasn't at all as expected. My husband ordered Izgara Köfte. The meat was so raw that you couldn't eat it. We called the waiter and passed on our request. He took the plate with him and tried to fool us by bringing the same meatballs back. Then we told the waitress again and the exact same thing happened to make a joke by leaving it on the grill for longer, the outside was already burnt so I see that as a cheek and as a restaurant owner I would question whether if it had happened to him whether he would eat it!!!! Therefore NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

The food is great, but I wish there was a chance to eat in peace. It is very rude to take the plate away before the meal is even finished. Such a service did not suit such delicious food... It is annoying that the waiter constantly looks at me, I don't think I would choose it again...

A customer in Höchst for many years, the store was so big that there were only a few cola round tables inside and it wasn't even called a restaurant! Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably DECLINED. Especially during the Corona period... even the monthly meal with the parents is canceled because they simply can't enjoy the enjoyment they used to. Then it's a shame that the prices have now increased. Around 35€-40€ for 2 people is quite a bit for what you're currently getting. After this time it's finally over for me too. Price/performance is simply no longer right.

I was breaking our iftar with my wife and son at Urfa Man last night. Unfortunately, the reservation started right away and we were stopped here even though we had called to make a reservation. 35 minutes after Iftar, we were finally able to try our food. Unfortunately it didn't taste good, service was INCREDIBLY bad! And unfortunately we weren't even offered anything as a gesture of goodwill and were charged a cheeky bill of 63 euros. Then at least eliminate the 3 euros, my friend. Very disappointing unfortunately! Unfriendly service and restaurant operator.

I had a meal there yesterday and was very satisfied with the quality of the price and the friendliness of the people served. I would definitely recommend and come back again.

UPDATE March 11, 2024: Hello “Social Media Manager” who I see as the only one answering in the comment rates. Are you just making big speeches or is something ACTUALLY being changed? The staff has become really bad. When we asked several times to get something extra (in this case some of the yoghurt sauce) the first time was misunderstood and we were brought hot sauce, the second time nothing even came. The bread is ALWAYS brought cold EVEN THOUGH YOU ASKED for it to be warm!!! Eating took a really long time, while you watch others who came later before a meal, we ordered the number 1, which was usually never spicy. This time you could even see the red flakes in the meat (i.e. wrong order). After we asked for the bill because we had to leave, no one came again. Don't you want to get paid?! A disaster. We really enjoyed going there (my first review was from 5 years ago) but the condition here now is disappointing! Please do something so that you can enjoy eating here again! _____________________________ Unfortunately, I can mostly only agree with the reviews about the service/staff. Our bread arrived cold even though we had asked for it to be warm. We were afraid to send it back (it wasn't like that just once). The food, on the other hand, tastes really good. The grilled meat is delicious and I have always found the portions to be hearty and sufficient. The tea afterwards to wind down is highly recommended ;)

Lentil and tripe soup was not fresh. Lentil soup is not restaurant style! The service staff does not speak Turkish and could not help us with the menu. When I go to a Turkish restaurant in Germany, I expect the atmosphere of being in Turkey, but I couldn't find it here.

Best Turkish food in Höchst and the surrounding area!

As a female customer, I was a guest in your restaurant today, February 19, 2024 between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. and was asked for my Instagram account by one of your waiters during the meal. I found this behavior extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. As a guest, I expect respectful and appropriate behavior from the staff. Such requests have no place in a restaurant environment and greatly impacted my experience. It is unfortunate that such incidents have a negative impact on the overall impression of my visit.

Food tastes great, but could be warmer. The meat and fries were only lukewarm. There are only 3 stars for the ambience because there is no changing facility for babies and the children's chairs are really very dirty. We then preferred to leave our child in our arms.

The store used to be really great, was there every week. Now really one of the worst services in all of Frankfurt. Portions have become much smaller, waiters are so unfriendly that you don't enjoy eating at all. Every little thing costs extra, tea is no longer served. As soon as the food is ready, the bill is brought to you without being asked and you are even told to please leave as soon as possible. Really - really bad service now.

The shop is quite nice but €8 kebab that is just 2cm thick is a disgrace!!

3 waiters at 5 tables and you have to wait 10 minutes until you are asked whether you have already ordered, then wait 40 minutes until you lose interest in the food and you can leave annoyed because everyone who ordered before you has already been served

Unfortunately my visit was a total failure and therefore I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. The dishes were not delivered as ordered, some of the meat was not cooked through and the cellar was unfortunately extremely rude and unprofessional. All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. The reviews do not correspond to reality and there are enough alternatives in the Frankfurt area.
