Hello, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say that the experience was excellent from start to finish. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a smiling, professional, and very attentive staff. You immediately feel that the customer is their primary concern. The service is particularly fast and efficient, which is very much appreciated. Despite the speed, everything is done with care and great attention to detail. As for the food, I was not disappointed: the dishes are tasty, well-presented, and prepared with quality ingredients. Every bite was a real pleasure, and you can tell that the recipes are made with passion. Update September 30, 2025: First visit after the renovation: very nice, spotlessly clean, new kitchen, new dining room, new restrooms. Menu unchanged at first glance. Food still very good, friendly service, highly recommended. Sat outside in beautiful weather and enjoyed a delicious Adana kebab. I've been coming here for food for ages and have never had a bad experience.

We received spoiled food twice within three weeks a while ago. Now, our review is being challenged and deleted. Instead of apologizing and improving the food and service, bad reviews are simply deleted. Instead of correcting a mistake, it's covered up with a new one...it's probably a matter of character...

I'm absolutely thrilled! The Adana was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and fresh off the grill, just as it should be. The lahmacun also impressed me: crispy, thin crust, flavorful toppings, and freshly prepared. You can tell the passion that goes into the cooking here. The portions are generous, the value for money is good, and the service is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is also pleasant—you immediately feel welcome.

We wanted to visit Urfa again after the renovations. The atmosphere is truly fantastic. The decor is superb. They left nothing out. The service was very attentive and they took great care of us. As for the food: we had a grilled platter and can only say that it tasted really good. The meat wasn't spicy (we were there with the kids) and was perfectly seasoned. We'll definitely be back.

Enough is enough... we would like to share our disappointment with our recent restaurant visit. After waiting 20 minutes for our food, we were informed that the doner knife was broken. The wait was unreasonable, especially since we weren't informed of this earlier (upon request). We then decided to leave the restaurant. When we paid for the drinks, we also discovered that they were already a month past their best-before date. The waiter's behavior was particularly unprofessional. Despite the poor service, he kept the three euros in change as a tip. Unfortunately, this was not our first negative experience at your restaurant. Although we wanted to give you another chance, we have now decided that we will not be visiting again. It is unfortunate to see how much the quality has declined since our previous visits.

By far the best Turkish restaurant I've visited in Frankfurt! The slogan "20 years of quality you can taste" hits the nail on the head – and that's exactly how it is. The doner meat is exceptionally tender, and the grilled meat is simply prepared to perfection. I was particularly impressed by the huge selection, especially at the meat counter – there's truly something for everyone here. Great ambiance, very friendly service, and fair prices. After the renovation, it's been disappointing for me. The shop looks good, but the doner kebab was better before the changes. The bread was fluffier, and the round shape meant there were fewer "bites" on the edges. The new rectangular bread has more of a crust, making it harder to eat and no longer fluffy. The garlic sauce is now more like a spread and has a sweet aftertaste. The cheese is no longer sliced ​​but crumbled, which I personally don't mind. The meat is also different. It seems higher quality, but it's too dry for my taste. Before, it was juicier, and the pieces were thicker and larger. The combination of the changes is no longer "the tastiest doner" for me. It's now more like a "fancy doner," which I find a shame. For me, the doner kebab is not worth the 10€ it cost.

We've been to Urfa Grillhaus many times – a popular spot serving classic Turkish cuisine. This time, for a change, we also tried the grill house across the street. Both restaurants are busy and offer similar dishes – I had a doner kebab plate in each. The taste was really good, with decent portions, nothing to complain about. Both places are about €3 above average in price – that's something to be aware of. In a direct comparison, I'd say I enjoyed the food across the street a bit more. I personally prefer the decor at Urfa – it's more modern and appealing. The restaurant across the street has a more traditional feel, like you'd expect from a vacation, with less attention to detail. The service at Urfa depends on who's serving – sometimes friendly, sometimes more matter-of-fact. Nevertheless, Urfa remains a good place for Turkish food with solid quality.

It was annoying, but I ended up ordering a regular kebab. The service was friendly. The kebab was good. The area...well, it was busy. Loud. Overall, it was good. The prices are too high, though. 9 euros for a not-so-large kebab. 3.30 euros for a 0.33 liter Coke Zero.

We went to the restaurant after a concert. They were renovating the ambiance, so it only gives it 3 stars, otherwise it would have been 5. The staff was fantastic, especially the owners. The kebab was delicious, different from the others, and the portion was really large, but just right for me. Afterwards, they offered me tea; the service was absolutely top-notch.

The restaurant certainly seems to be very popular. We were there in the early evening and it was very busy, but we still managed to get a seat without a reservation. Most of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The selection was nicely presented with pictures on the menu, so you could imagine what was on offer. The food itself was beautifully presented and extremely delicious. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't quite as pleasant, as it was very loud and a bit untidy, or the waiters simply couldn't keep up. There was trash and leftover food everywhere on the floor. Nevertheless, we would definitely come back if we were in the area.

I ate lamb ribs here. Compared to other Turkish restaurants, the grilling and taste were on a whole other level. My friend who went with me said that if there was a restaurant like this near his house, he would probably become a regular.

Best place to eat around Frankfurt

We each had a plate of Ali Nazik, and it was incredibly delicious! The sauce, along with the lamb and bread, was a perfect combination. We also had a really sweetly presented plate of Sigara Börek, which were still really hot and crispy.

Unfortunately a total fail. The food was ok, but I don't think I've ever experienced such poor customer service in Frankfurt. Try it out. Unfortunately for us it means: never again!
