We had to wait in line for about 45 minutes and then an additional 45 minutes for the food. Although we ordered completely different burgers, we somehow got the same thing. There are also only the burgers that are shown on the board and not the ones from the website. Price is also way too expensive for what you get. But fries are delicious.

Absolute disappointment. I buy a hamburger as pictured and after a few bites all I got was bread meat and onion. More than half was missing. After commenting, they were willing to give the money back and I had to give the hamburgers back immediately. I mean it didn't taste good and I wanted to get what was in the picture, but what kind of philosophy is that??? The cashier gave some customers the information: only card but with us and others took cash. Everything's kind of weird. Clearly never again.

Funniest eating experience in a long time Really wanted to try the burger. Price for a menu 19€. It's okay, let's go for a good burger. After 15 minutes the burger was ready. Burgers looked dreary and somehow wrong. The first bite wasn't that great either. Until we noticed that the burger (contrary to the pictures) was missing any vegetables (rocket, tomatoes, onions). When asked, the cashier commented that the vegetables were out. Come on! That can't correspond to the company's philosophy. We collect the full amount and only put half on the burger in the hope that it won't be noticed. Aside from the fact that the other burger was mediocre, this behavior says everything about the place. We asked for our money back and deducted it. Thank you Urban Ranch, we will definitely remember the experience 😂

I was here a few times two or three years ago and found the burgers to be good but not excellent. After all the hype on social media, I went back yesterday and I have to say I didn't remember him wrong. Unfortunately the burgers are nothing special, my companions share my opinion. A burger that may not be available on every corner - but there are already some corners with much better burgers in Frankfurt.

The burger was tasty and juicy. Very greasy. The mix between the meat, the sauce, onion, pepperoni was very good. I just don't understand this beef bacon. Not recommended in terms of taste either. Regular bacon would work much better. Especially because of the crunchiness. Too bad. Otherwise great burger with various choices. Service was okay and the location is more suitable for a short stay.

I was back in Bornheim and had “ordered” a Chicago Bull. Employees are overwhelmed and long waiting times are the rule. At first the burger was the best, but now according to the employees they have gotten rid of the lettuce and tomatoes. That doesn't exist anymore, I was told. Then I told him that it was still on the screen. He said it was old. Then please pull the plug!! Aside from that, mine didn't have any bacon in it and the meat was burnt. I'm really very disappointed because I always told everyone "Urban Ranche is the best". Now it was him. Unfortunately, I'm not even alone with this opinion. Well, then I'll look for a new Smash Burger place.

The best burger I've ever eaten! Super nice service, acceptable waiting time and excellent burgers/side dishes. Come regularly to eat Thanos and it will stay that way. Heared about the store through word of mouth and wasn't disappointed.

I recently visited the burger shop in Frankfurt and overall I was very satisfied. The burger was really tasty and was of good quality. The amount of sauce was a bit too much for my taste, but that's certainly a matter of taste and might appeal to other guests. A small point of criticism was the table, which wobbled for us. There were four of us at the table and it was a bit disturbing. I would therefore recommend checking the tables regularly and stabilizing them if necessary. Otherwise, the visit was great and I can definitely recommend the store!

Chaotic ordering system, ridiculously long waiting time, cold food, rude and unfriendly employees and work in slow motion... worst burger experience ever! We waited in line for 40 minutes, even though there weren't many people in front of us. You don't even get the food or drinks straight away, just ordering it takes so long for no reason! So when we stood in front of the checkout after queuing for 40 minutes, we were ignored for another 5 minutes. No greeting or comment that things are about to continue. It doesn't work at all. This meant we were able to take a closer look at the disaster for a little longer. The unfriendly cashier first had to take care of his paperwork. The entire order is first written down on a piece of paper with the token number and then entered into the cash register. I have no idea why you don't just print out two receipts from the cash register (one for the roasters and one for the cash register) and write the token number on them, but ok. Then we were allowed to watch as the cashier distributed napkins, sauces and wet towels to the finished trays at such a snail's pace. I've never seen it before and was amazed at how you can work in such slow motion in the catering industry. Nobody has to rush, but with all the reviews, picking up the pace a little is the least you can do. When the cashier whispered a greeting and we were able to order, I ended up asking how long we had to wait for the burger because we had already been standing in line for 40 minutes. The gentleman didn't like it at all and said it would take 15 minutes and what should he do now? My thought: Work faster perhaps? The 15 minutes became 25 minutes. The neighboring table who ordered after us got their food before us. How can that be? We talked briefly and she couldn't understand why the work was so slow. When we got the food and drinks - you don't get the drinks when you wait 25 minutes, but rather sit dry during this time - the food was cold. Fries were cold and salty, burgers were cold and the cheese was hard again. So we waited 70 minutes and paid almost 37 euros to get 2 cold burgers, 1 cold fries, 1 sauce (which cheekily costs extra) and two drinks. A joke! When we walked past the shop again, the cashier was already shouting at the next customers... although it should be clear in the restaurant that when we asked how long it would take, the answer was "what should I do, I've been standing here since 7 a.m." is definitely the wrong one. Please urgently train staff, give out drinks directly, revise the ordering system and encourage staff to be friendly, quality and quick. In addition, an employee who was there at 7 a.m. shouldn't still be there at 8:30 p.m. (13.5 hour shift?). We're definitely not coming back.

I'm writing this review BEFORE I eat the burger. No matter how it tastes, it's not worth the ridiculous wait! Waiting in line for 45 minutes at a mall fast food stand. There were a maximum of 4 customers in front of me. The team is working aaaaaalllaaannnngggsssaaaammmmmmhhh. Really ridiculous. When it was finally our turn, the waitress ignored us for 10 minutes because he had to organize some paperwork. In between, customers came who also had special requests and were of course given priority. After I asked how much the Spar-Manu cost (since there is no price listed for it), the waitress whispered a price in a very incomprehensible manner. I was just annoyed and just ordered what I wanted. When everything was over and I understood after asking for the third time that the man was trying to ask me in a whisper and with a strong accent (unfortunately I didn't really understand what he was saying, but you could guess it. At least!), Which type of iced tea I wanted, there was one of those vibrating devices that let you know when the food is ready. I thought I was losing faith when it was AGAIN: WAIT. No thanks. Never again! (No matter how good this burger is supposed to taste)

Food was okay. Prices way too high. 1 euro extra mayo. Menu discount for over 20 euros was only 90 cents. I would say the taste was 3/5. Price/performance 1/5. All other options in the Plaza have been better so far. Better and cheaper compared to Vedang Burger

The burger is very fragrant and has its own unique sauce, and the burger steak is very juicy. The fries were ok, paired with bottled drinks. There are also vegetarian options.

Was there today on July 23rd. Got a lukewarm Coke for €3.90 in my hand. Couldn't wash down the subterranean burger with the lukewarm drink. When the listless teenagers are at the checkout and at the grill, it's better to avoid it. The shop is a shadow himself.

Before Goldies arrived, you guys used to be the best burger place in all of Frankfurt! I have always been a fan of Thanos since Skyline Plaza and have been able to enjoy him many times at the Berger. No matter how long it took, you endured it to be able to eat Thanos. The Thanos was your trademark and the unique selling point compared to the run-of-the-mill Smashburgers from others. Unfortunately, you didn't do yourself any favors with the price increase. Especially because the burger hasn't improved in quality but, on the contrary, has become worse. I only recently found my way back to you. To my surprise, that wasn't what I knew about you. A thick slice of tomato was slapped on top, the cheese was too overpoweringly dosed. All you can taste is cheese in the middle of the burger. Don't get me wrong, it's not inedible and still tasty, but it no longer lives up to its name. And that at a price of almost 15€ euros. Sorry guys, I'd rather get 2 good burgers for the price from Goldies, where I know what I'm getting. So either increase the quality again and take more time, or you can drastically reduce the prices. I enjoyed being your customer, but you might see what hype can do to you.

Food, 5/5, can't complain. However, the waiting time, 1/5. I stood at the checkout with no one in front of me. I waited about 5 minutes until I was asked what I wanted to eat. Service friendly. While I was waiting, I noticed that there were a lot of Lieferando drivers waiting; in my opinion, they were given preferential treatment. I waited about 30 minutes for the food and I wasn't disappointed. While we were eating, the line got longer and longer, which also speaks for Urban Ranch. What I still don't understand is that the order is first written down and then typed into the cash register? Can't you do that in one breath? Overall, with the exception of the waiting time, I am very satisfied!

Very good burgers when the right team prepares the burgers. They are currently on tour at Champions Burger with the Sloppy Joe, which is also very tasty. At Skyline Plaza I usually eat the CBB Double and occasionally the Thanos, since my absolute favorite Juicy Lucy is unfortunately no longer available.

The burgers aren't actually bad, but for the price I would have expected more meat. You can hardly taste the meat. 4 burgers, 2 fries and 2 cokes a whopping 60 euros. Very loud, hardly any space and it's very unpleasant in Skyline Plaza.

There's nothing there, the burgers are good and the fries too. But they're not so outstanding that you have to shell out almost 20 euros for a portion of fries and a bottle of sprite for a medium-sized burger. This is available with the same quality and also cheaper with a better ambience. When in doubt, I prefer to grill myself. I know what I have and pay a fraction.

I was there today. The fact that I waited 25 minutes was tough. But that I bought a burger for €11.90, the picture on the flyer was a burger that looked fat. Then it arrives and feels like it's 2 cm thick. The whole burger! That's a disgrace. To pay 12€ for this. Very cheeky.

We tried the Sloppy Joe’s or a vegetarian burger at “The Champion’s Burger” in Cologne. The burgers were both absolutely delicious. The sauce is great and very full-bodied. Simply divine!

I was waiting for 1 h in the que, to be told when taking the order that the credit card machine is not working. The employees had no ideea what to do and kept going in circles. They did not announce to the people in the que that the machine is not working. Also the cleaning conditions are far from clean. I asked personally one of the employees to clean the table where the food was prepared. I wouldn't mind to wait for a good burger if the service would be good. It is such a shame that a good product gets such bad service.

Good burgers although overpowered by the sweetness of the caramelised honey onions. Tip: skip the caramelised honey onions. Fries are pretty average and expensive.

Thanos and CBB double both has abused beef patty pressed thin so no juice or recognition of being a burger patty. The collective flavor is alright and good enough vs. the alternative burgers in skyline mall but it is about it. 14.90€ I would expect awesomeness but it is just a slightly above average. In the skyline mall it is not the atmosphere that pulls point not the attitude of service or people working there. It it wasn’t unfair to the burger I would have pulled in slightly more down. The burger itself is a nice mix of saltiness and sweetness. Could add wonders with some lettuce and other. The burger does seems pretty abused compared to the display and the patty is often pressed so hard it becomes crispy as chips and not beneficial overall.

Great service and staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely come here often. Meat is also halal, everything is halal top!!!

Because of various YouTubers and the good reviews on Maps, I ate there for the first time today. I was obviously lucky when it came to the waiting time; 15 minutes for a freshly made meal is completely ok. A school class arrived shortly after me, I think whoever ordered shortly after them waited at least 30 minutes :-) For food: I ordered the Chicago Bull with fries. The fries were basically tasty, but cold...they must have been on the tray for longer than 5 minutes. I can't remember ever being served fries that cold. With the burger it looked as if not only the pattie but also the buns were smashed, the burger overall looked pretty worn out. About the taste: the bun tasted good, I can't say anything about the meat because there was too much sauce on the burger for my taste. This may be a matter of taste, but with a burger I also want to taste meat, that wasn't the case with this burger. Overall the burger was ok, cold fries are not for me at all. The atmosphere in the food court isn't really my thing either, but of course Urban Ranch can't help that. 3 stars from me, deducted because of cold fries and lack of meat taste.

So unfortunately I have to rethink my opinion about this store. It was my first time in the Skyline Plaza branch. The burger there was really good, I have to say, ok a bit expensive, I also have to mention that, but the quality and taste justify the price. Let's move on to the relatively negative second visit to Berger Straße. My wife and I were full of anticipation for the burger and drove to Berger Straße. When we arrived it was around 6:05 p.m. In front of us was a gentleman with his son. He ordered the Cheese Classy and a fries for his son and the Thanos Burger for himself. We also came straight to it and ordered the Chicago Bull and for me also the Thanos as a side dish. We actually wanted these pastrami fries, but unfortunately they were sold out, so we only ordered a side dish of fries and two drinks. The gentleman and his son sat down next to us at the neighboring table directly in front of the counter. And we waited and waited and waited. After half an hour I carefully asked how long it would take. Shortly after my question, the disc we ordered rang and beeped, first at our table neighbor and shortly afterwards at ours. Full of anticipation and huge hunger, I bit into Thanos, unfortunately the memory didn't match the taste in my mouth. I took the burger bun off and unfortunately saw a lot of braised onions and two fingernail-sized pieces of bacon. Not a mm bigger, unfortunately I didn't take any photos out of frustration and anger. I then asked my wife if she had the bacon in her burger and then my neighbor at the table who had also ordered a Thanos. Both denied this. I went to the counter with my tablet and asked if they had forgotten the bacon. I was a little beside myself with the answer from the colleague who was standing at the checkout and I may have gotten a little louder. I apologize for that, but he said that he had run out of bacon. I thought I did not hear right. I then asked him how he could sell me the burger for 14.90 (single) if he knew he was out of bacon, because that was the reason for my order because there isn't a Halal bacon burger on every corner In my opinion, it is a main component of various burgers in the store. That simply can't be the case, getting such poor quality for the money is simply not worth more than 2 stars. But unfortunately it tasted like a rip-off instead of the excellent Thanos and the Chicago Bull that we had previously eaten in Skyline Plaza.

Normal burgers, with roasted onions and rocket but otherwise not much different from BK. I had Chicago burgers. Disappointed experience. Very disorganized to order and receive the food. Lots of stress was happening in the kitchen with shouting and swearing going on. After a long wait (people that ordered after me got their order first) I got my food which was a letdown. The cheese sticks were dry, tasteless with barely any cheese in them. The cheesy classy burger wasn’t enjoyable at all and the French fries were fine. Would I go back to try again……no, unfortunately not.

Been there several times and there are no more wet wipes? Washing your hands only costs 1 euro if you go up one floor. Tasty but tables and chairs are rancid, greasy and crumbly. Tasty but if you want to eat comfortably for 25-30 minutes, it's no good

By far the best (smash) burger I have eaten in Germany so far. Unfortunately, there are sometimes hard waiting times on weekends, so it's better to go during the week. The guys really give it their all and put their heart and soul into it and are also very friendly and correct. Definitely a must try in FFM!

It was our first time eating at Urban Ranch because we received a lot of positive feedback from our friends. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for our citizen, total chaos at the checkout and unfriendly staff. We were served the burgers cold. At a price of €16 per burger (without fries and drink) it is in the higher price segment.

Hi first, Because of the good response the burger joint got on social media, my friends and I went here together. But to our disappointment we didn't get a burger or anything, just a notice that the man in front of us would be the last to get a burger (additional info this is happening twice now). So to sum everything up, unfortunately my friends and I can't rate anything here, even though we really would have liked to. P.S it wasn't just before closing time, but 40-45 minutes before. Unfortunately, I can't understand the social media hype at all and if we could, we would only give 0 deaths It's a shame actually 😒

they dont walk the talk. all the lofty writing on their website is contradicted by real life and actual experience of the place. If you care about knowing what you eat, forget about this place. We walked up and asked for ingredients list: they barely looked at us and just shook their head and said "we don't have, we don't know.", which basically translates to "we don't care."

I'm trying to write about this review as objectively as possible. I'm not just including the culinary aspect here, but rather the overall package of my first (and only) visit to this "burger shop". I was honestly really looking forward to trying the burger so I could judge whether the hype was justified. However, when I ordered the Urban BBQ including fries and Joppie sauce and put a total of 17.40 euros on the table (without the drink, mind you), my ears were shaking for a moment. However, as long as the burger had completely satisfied me in terms of taste, I would have overlooked what I consider to be quite a high price. After I got my food after a whopping 50(!!!) minute wait, I was very disappointed with the first bite. The burger is absolutely nothing special. The ingredients are all fresh, there’s nothing wrong with that. The quality cannot be faulted either. But the burger as a whole just didn't appeal to me at all. The taste is completely “0815” and definitely not worth the hype. The fries are completely flimsy and could only be saved a little by the Joppie sauce. However, as I said, after I had to wait a total of 50 minutes for my food (even though there was very little going on) and the whole organization in the store was completely chaotic and confusing, I unfortunately have no choice but to give such a review. For the long wait you could have at least expected an apology or perhaps a drink on the house or something similar. However, none... There’s still a lot of catching up to do! Why everyone celebrates the store so much will probably remain a secret forever!

The Chicago Bull was delicious, as was the cheeseburger. Fries were crispy and flavorful. I really liked the homemade ranch sauce. Per person plus minus €20 (burger, fries and drink). Unfortunately, you always have to expect a waiting time of at least 30/40 minutes. I can only recommend.

15 minutes of waiting to order and after another 40 minutes of waiting, still no food!!! Then people who came after us would also be provided with citizens beforehand, and even the staff themselves would provide themselves and friends with citizens. There were only lazy excuses and not a serious apology. Something like that doesn't work in restaurants and on a food court in a shopping center three times over!

The burger is awesome - although in my opinion the quality is no longer consistently high. The service is very slow - this could be better. Ambience, well, that's not due to Urban Ranch, but rather to the food court in Skyline Plaza.

The service is very unfriendly! The employee forgot our order and we would have to wait more than 40 minutes! He also yelled at us because we took a picture of the citizen on the grill 🙂

We were looking for a smash burger and we ended up here. It’s good…not a classic smash burger as we expected which can be a good thing and a bad thing. In my opinion too greasy…too much fat/oily that almost cover the taste of the rest. That’s the only complaint. Sad because i am sure the ingredients are good quality.

Unfortunately, I had a catastrophic experience. Waited 1 hour for a single burger and then they claimed the burger had already been served. Only after some discussion was the burger made. The burger itself wasn't bad but nothing special either. Edit: the store actually tried to have my review deleted and claimed that I had never been there! Of course, you can adjust your ratings accordingly.

Burger with bacon for €11.50 without fries. Burger was good. Pastrami fries were widely advertised, but didn't exist. Paying with a credit card is only possible from 12€ - like in the 80s. Waiting time for the burger Thursday at 12:00 p.m. was 25 minutes. Thank you very much but overall it's just not worth it.

When the food truck opened in front of Skyline Plaza, my husband and I went there to eat almost every weekend because the burger was just so good. Since the shop opened in the food court in Skyline Plaza, the quality of the food and the service have unfortunately become very poor. The bread was previously soft and fluffy, but now it is dry and falling apart. The sweet potato fries were also removed from the menu, which were my highlight. In addition, you have to wait at least 20-30 minutes for food, sometimes even up to an hour on weekends. Accordingly, the prices should have been reduced; in contrast, everything has just become more expensive. I liked you better before because you were more humble...what a shame

I was really looking forward to the Chicago Bull Burger from Urban-Ranch Smash Burger, but unfortunately I was totally disappointed. When we arrived at the restaurant after a 100 km drive, I was served a burger that was obviously not fresh and hot. It was disappointing to see the staff simply grab the burger from a bag that was probably intended for another order. The burger itself was soggy and tasted anything but fresh. This experience left me deeply disappointed, especially after the long drive we took to visit the restaurant. I was hoping for a quality dining experience, but instead I was disappointed. Because of this experience, I will not be visiting Urban Ranch again. It's a shame that a restaurant with such potential was unable to meet its customers' expectations. I hope that Urban-Ranch management takes this feedback seriously and takes appropriate action to ensure that similar incidents are avoided in the future. Overall, my experience with Urban-Ranch Smash Burger was disappointing, and unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

Burgers are very good, as always despite the long wait. You always have to take these into account. Yesterday I was more shocked by the worker and his behavior towards the other employees. He scolded them so much and beat them up in front of everyone. I don't want to defend anyone, the cashier was a bit slow and confused at times, but you can't do something like that in front of customers. Do this when the store is closed but then at eye level. A pity ! Get a new job, girl.

The burger was nothing special for the 45 minute wait if you know real burgers. But overall two stars because of the dark-skinned employee who makes the burgers. Because of his aggressive behavior and shouting, many customers left. If I hadn't already paid, I would have left already. He bullied the cashier the whole time so she kept working while crying. Not a good picture for such a hyped store.

Unfortunately, not every application is meaningful... The food is rather average and feels like it has been hyped too much. The CBC Burger was not slightly spicy as described, but rather exclusively sweet due to the excessive amount of candied onions. Unfortunately, the many reviews were blinding. The service is rather below average. The cashier seemed overwhelmed. Between the customers who ordered and the customers who picked up their food, she always did things in parallel, which slowed down the ordering process. We had to wait forever (about 20-30 minutes) for a line with about 5 people in front of us. We then had to wait at least as long again for the food. You can't really include the ambience. There is a food court on the upper floor.

Best burger far and wide that I have ever eaten, but you really need to do something about your service. You can't have to wait 20-60 minutes every time to eat. Then maybe hire more staff… unfortunately it takes away the joy of eating

Food is ok. Smashburgers are all the rage right now, but I couldn't stand the smell of grease on the burger bun. Therefore 3 stars. Conditions were inflexible. As a woman, I can tolerate the flat burger, but it depends on the big picture. Food in the gallery's food point was unpleasant, loud, tables unclean. No thanks. Price performance doesn't match.

You get super tasty smashed burgers and good fries here, friendly staff. Unfortunately, the place is very small and the hype surrounding this store is so great that you have to put up with waiting times. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food. Otherwise, the food is a clear recommendation!

The first time at UR. The good reputation made me curious. I had the smash burger C.C.B. Single, with fries and homemade ranch sauce. Citizens super - very tasty, meat like you imagine a GREAT smash. Partly juicy, partly crispy with roasted aromas. In terms of craftsmanship, you can't say anything against it. Cheese jalpeños, with the sauces (not too much), caramelized onions. Really pleasant to eat, no mess. French fries Crispy, tasty, good product Ranch sauce Like a good cocktail sauce service Waiting in line was announced Preparation took a little long 20 minutes. It took almost an hour for a burger, without warning. When asked, the manager became very rude and yelled at us to wait. Refused to return our money. Never experienced such bad service.
