Una Más in Bochum

Everything is wonderful! From the outside, it looks like a German pub, and from the inside, too. But here they serve super delicious tapas, a great variety, and excellent and very attentive service. We were here on a Friday evening; a reservation is recommended.

For me, this is the most rustic, authentic tapas restaurant in Bochum and the surrounding area. Delicious tapas and typical Spanish drinks without any annoying gimmicks, and at reasonable prices. It's no coincidence that we've been here for 25 years :-) Great service – attentive and fast. The food is extremely delicious. Thank you – it was another wonderful evening. You're doing a fantastic job!

It was our first time there. The ambiance is rustic and has a bit of a pub-like feel, but still quaint. The staff was quick and friendly, and they even offered personal conversations, which gave you a real sense of family. The food was great. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the mushrooms that day, but I did get my café bombón to finish, which made me so happy. I'll be back – just for the coffee 😅

We were there spontaneously today, requested a table for 7 at 5:00 p.m. and got the last one at 7:30 p.m. Excellent! Great service, drinks and food came quickly, and we were very satisfied. Disappointing Evening Despite Good Reviews Due to the numerous positive reviews, we chose the restaurant "una mas" for our evening in Bochum. Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to our expectations. First, the positives: The service was friendly and prompt – there was nothing to complain about. Now for the food: The bread for the aioli was dry and seemed as if it had been sliced ​​hours ago. The bacon-wrapped dates arrived lukewarm and were unfortunately anything but crispy. The frittata was almost tasteless, also only lukewarm and unseasoned. The bacon-wrapped scampi were okay, but nothing more. The baked Manchego with honey and thyme was dry, barely warm, and left a lot to be desired. The cheese and spinach balls were hot, but not convincing in terms of taste and simply not our cup of tea. The pork steak in honey and rum sauce was fried to death at some point and arrived lukewarm with a bland sauce. The only lasting impression: The aioli – unfortunately, a negative one. The pungent aftertaste stayed with us for hours afterward. Conclusion: Perhaps this mediocre quality is sufficient in Bochum; in any other major city in Germany, a restaurant with this culinary standard would probably not last two weeks.

For us, Una Más is always our first choice for delicious tapas in Bochum. Its rather rustic decor, but like in Spain, we don't place so much emphasis on a posh ambiance, but rather on very attentive and friendly service, as well as simply delicious food. Always highly recommended!

Great food, great staff, great little place. Apparently massively popular with locals, we were lucky to get a table when we turned up at opening time - staff were very accommodating. A true hidden gem. (And make sure to get the lamb filet in yoghurt-mint sauce - sublime!)

We were there with a group, unfortunately we were asked to pay after an hour because other guests had registered. The chairs are uncomfortable because they are not padded. The service was very friendly and quick. I now think the price is too high for the small portion, I paid fifty euros and didn't really get full. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

The best tapas in Bochum are here. Super delicious food and very nice service. But you should definitely reserve in advance. Of course, due to its popularity, it quickly gets loud at peak times, so first have a great meal and then change the location for in-depth conversations.

In my opinion the best and most authentic tapas bar in the area. You can also get more unusual tapas and not just run-of-the-mill ready-made ones like in many other restaurants. The menu has been put together with a lot of love and knowledge of Spanish cuisine. There is a changing weekly menu. The service was always good. The atmosphere is rustic. We went to Una Mas for the first time this week and we were more than pleasantly surprised. From the outside, UnaMas looks more like a standing 1960s bar, but from the inside, thanks to the interior and the great atmosphere, you have the impression that you are sitting in a tapas bar in the old town of Barcelona. The taps on offer were very different from the monotony of tapas bars. Everything we ordered was very tasty and served in a pleasant portion size. We are looking forward to the next time!

Delicious food, good service, and cozy atmosphere. Recommended. I was visiting the city and arrived to the restaurant with no reservation. Despite this, I was given a table for a limited time on the condition to be done before the guests came. I ordered tapas: patatas bravas, champiñones al ajillo, pan con alioli, boquerones fritos, and a glass of estrella galicia beer. Pan con alioli was the best of all them. The green sauce of champiñones al ajillo was a little bit salty but the texture of champiñones was perfect. Still, I enjoyed the food a lot. If I find myself in the city again, I would definitely return.

Small traditional restaurant with Spanish tapas and several Spanish drinks such as Spanish beer (Estrella Galicia and San Miguel). There are also Spanish spirits, such as Licor43, various brandies - e.g. Osborne Veterano and 103 - as well as various hierbas. My favorite, recommended by the friendly service, is Hierbas from Ibiza.

Essen war mega lecker und Preis Leistung stimmt! Ambiente nur 4 Sterne weil ich dort nicht direkt gegessen habe. Wenn ich mal wieder in Bochum bin, werde ich dort liebend gerne wieder hingehen zum Essen!

Tolles spanischer Tapas Restaurant, bzw. Kneipe. Man merkt den Restaurant seine Kneipenvergangenheit an, was aber kein Nachteil ist. Denn es zählen ja vor allem die Speisen und die wären richtig gut. Wie waren mit der Familien dort essen und haben uns wir durch die Tapas Karte gegessen. Allen hat es geschmeckt und jeder hat was leckeres gefunden. Es war ein leckerer und gemütlicher Abend

Unglaublich gemütliche Atmosphäre und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Sehr gechillt und authentisch! Wir haben im Vorfeld den Tisch (aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen), eine Woche vorher für 18 Uhr, reserviert. Una Más ist sehr gut besucht! Wir bekamen direkt am Fenster, einen schönen zweier Tisch. Unmittelbar als wir den Tisch erreichten, kam ein Kellner und reichte uns neben der Speise- und Getränkekarte, einen Stift und Block. Er sagte uns, dass irgendetwas schon "aus" wäre und schrieb die Zahl von diesem Gericht auf den Block. Man schreibt auf diesen Block die Nummern, von den vielen Köstlichkeiten auf, welche man naschen möchte. Eine nette Kellnerin, holte den Block mit unserer Bestellung ab. Ab 18:30 Uhr wurde es zunehmend voller. Jedoch konnten wir uns sehr gut unterhalten. Nachdem uns der Sangria gebracht wurde, wurden uns auch zeitnah, unsere Bestellung mit den unterschiedlichen Köstlichkeiten gebracht. Wir hatten die Menge unserer Bestellung etwas falsch eingeschätzt. Der ganze Tisch war voll und wir freuten uns auf das Essen. Egal, was wir probiert haben, es war einfach nur köstlich! Von den unterschiedlichen Dips inkl Brot, über dreierlei Olivensorten, hin zu frittierten Tintenfischringe, gefühlten Paprika, frittierten und gefüllten Spinatbällchen, frittierten Kartoffeln, weiter zu Garnelen und frittierten Sadeln. Champions und Hühchen, hatten wir auch noch (siehe Bilder). Der Sangria schmeckte uns so hervorragend, dass wir davon bis 22:30 Uhr (dann ging unsere Bahn) 2 Liter getrunken haben. Natürlich haben wir noch SanMiquel, Likörchen und Tequila probiert. Wenn schon, denn schon! Wir haben es uns richtig gut gehen lassen und die Stunden ab 18 Uhr verflogen im Nu. Uns wurde zum Abschluss ein mega leckerer Eichel Likör von der Chefin des Hauses, kredenzt. Was für ein Gaumenschmaus! Wir kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder. Vermutlich aber erst in 2024. Bis dahin liebes Una Más Team, Adiós, sagen die Mädels aus Düsseldorf und Bergkamen

Seit langer Zeit mal wieder im Una Más gewesen und es ist immernoch unangefochten die beste Tapas Bar mit qualitativ hochwertigen Tapas, lecker zubereitet, appetitlich angerichtet, schnell serviert. Der Service wie immer superfreundlich, zuvorkommend, locker drauf. Unsere Lieblings-Tapasbar zum Wohlfühlen und Schlemmen. Macht weiter so! ❤️
