A truly excellent kebab shop. Everything tastes very good; we've already tried the entire menu. However, it's not exactly cheap, and we lose one star because they don't accept card payments.

I'm always happy to come back. For me, one of the tastiest kebabs in town. Super friendly staff who keep the place under control, even during rush hours. Unfortunately, the recent price increase is disproportionate.

The lahmacun with chicken and veal were delicious and the staff were very friendly, BUT: the dishes are prepared WITHOUT gloves, then the cashier takes the order, and the next dishes are prepared WITHOUT gloves. Furthermore, the staff wipe the sweat from their foreheads with their hands and then touch the doner breads and flatbreads 🤢🤮 This is absolutely unhygienic and a complete no-go!!!!👎 Every baker fills the bread rolls into the bag with a glove or tongs and only takes the order WITHOUT gloves.

When the store is full, the focus isn't on offering customers something tasty, but rather on serving them quickly. While customers are present, the staff speaks in a language I don't understand. Fortunately, there's plenty of competition nearby.

Best fast food restaurant in Bochum. I've rarely had such a good lahmacun with Taschko.

The shop was very busy, which speaks for itself. My kebab tasted great and everything was good. UPDATE: Two years later, the prices have risen dramatically, which I can't understand! A Dürüm kebab now costs a whopping €9 instead of €7. The price for such a "dish" is pretty steep. Too bad, I won't go there anymore, as I'm not going along with this price increase on principle.

The food is delicious, but when I bought a doner kebab there in May 2025, I was very shocked by the new prices. Lahmacun with doner meat was €10.00. That's really the end of it for me; they've lost me as a customer. Unfortunately, it's completely overpriced...

We went because of the good reviews and because, according to the picture of the menu from six months ago, the price for a doner kebab was €7, which is the current standard price. When we got there, the doner kebab cost €8.50! Absolutely outrageous! The stars are purely for the taste.

Very clean and well-run fast food restaurant. Appetizingly presented food. Attentive service—which is rare in this industry. Tables and chairs are always in top condition, no matter the time of day. I even got a replacement without any problems because someone made a mistake with the spice pot (there was no need for a fuss in that case 🙂‍↔️). The customer service and value for money are also highly recommended.

I was there, I ate it, I won't be back. Kebab very average, bun poorly baked. I asked not to give me yogurt sauce, as you can see in the picture someone forgot. In addition, the price of 8.5€ is quite high.

The taste is good so far, but seriously I think €8.50 for a normal kebab with minced veal is steep, such a high increase is not justified. I'll have to look somewhere else soon. Too bad. We visited the snack bar because it is often described as the best kebab in Bochum. The following verdict: The salad is fresh. The bread is nice and warm and has a crispy consistency. Unfortunately, it's just a minced meat skewer and not a real kebab. This is noticeable visually and is evident in the taste. The operator is transparent here and mentions this with an additional sentence. In my opinion, the term kebab should not be used in such a case because it is misleading. At €8.5 the price is reasonable.

Neat and clean, seating. Doner kebab was mild but good. Turkish pizza very filling. A little expensive, but solid.

Food was great. Unfortunately, so do the waiting times. There are a few tables, but it's not really nice to sit there with twenty people standing in line waiting to order.

Food delicious. Service is super unfriendly. If you make a mistake, you will be laughed at and loudly.

Despite 3 employees in sales, I had to wait 30 minutes for 1 kebab. When I entered the store there were only 3 customers in front of me. Total chaos!!! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Finally got home..... the seller simply put poultry in my kebab instead of lamb. My clothes smelled like I had spent a day helping out at the kebab shop. Friendliness is also a foreign word for the three men. Miscast!!! My consequence: never again!

I was there today around 8 p.m. The meat was coming to an end and it was clear that there would be no more skewered meat on it. So three people left the store without food. Apparently they didn't think it was necessary... and the opening time is stated until 10 p.m. A real indictment…

Last weekend, after disappointing kebab experiences at HdD and Mangal, I simply googled the best kebab in Bochum. The result with 4.7 stars was “King Kebab” Linden. Okay, off to that: the store is very clean and the employees are nice. For 7 euros the kebab was really full to the brim. Salad and vegetables very fresh, not bitter or anything like that. It was really difficult to eat it without a cramp in my jaw. And as I sat there the store got busier and busier. I think at the end there were 7 customers there at the same time. I think that speaks for itself. Tesekkurler!!!

It's been nice to eat there more often now, but unfortunately I have to realize that the employees aren't allowed to laugh or don't want to. The employees are somehow always in a bad mood. I know that the job is not easy because I own a kebab shop myself, but my employees have to laugh even when they are having a bad day. The kebab is relatively good, the system is also okay, but I will avoid loading it in the future

The portions are decent - no one goes home hungry. The team is really friendly and quick, even when the store is really full. Everything is freshly prepared and you can tell that quality is really important here. Whether kebab, dürüm or fries – you are guaranteed to be happy here. We came to this kebab shop based on a recommendation from a friend. The prices are OK, the amount of meat is "Baba". The staff is friendly. The ambience alone is not intended to linger. You can eat well, then you're happy to give way to the next one :) Go and treat yourself to this treat. Oh yes, the sauces are homemade and great. But I recommend this kebab with cucumber, tomato, onions and some powder on top 😏

Best Döner Kebab shop in all at least in whole Bochum! I am a Costumer of this shop many years, even when they had a small local a few meters away across the street in the beginning time of their business. The quality of the food is very good (best for a kebab shop as far i know), and the portions of food are enough to get fill up, mostly. Even for some Bigger guys ;-) The staff are friendly, and they take hygiene very seriously here! Arpart from that, this Döner Kebab shop is the only one I know that does NOT SELL PORK meat at all, what is a Fat Plus Point! The facility (chairs and tables) inside are not the best to chill, but enough to eat inside, what is the most priority. The only two little minus points are.. First, the prices! 7 Euro for a medium Döner, for example, is little high. And secound, there is no Toilet available in this shop! If the shop is not too full of people, there is even room for a wheelchair, as well the shop entrance is barrier-free. All together 4 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Turkish fast food with a manageable typical offering. Doner seems to be popular with many customers. It's not mine. I wouldn't describe the kebab sections as 'meat'. You can only taste the spices anyway. Everyone has to decide for themselves. I'll stick with currywurst.

Gute Qualität und sehr frisch und lecker

Der Dürüm bei King Kebap war äußerst saftig, die Soßen sehr lecker und das Gemüse noch knackig. Die scharfe Soße war für meine Verhältnisse nicht scharf genug, aber dafür sehr fruchtig. Das Brot war gut. Einziges Manko ist, dass es kein Dönerfleisch, sondern einen Drehspieß nach Dönerart gibt, der auch noch Milch enthält. Hier könnten sie nachbessern. Insgesamt ein schmackhafter Genuss, aber Fleischliebhaber könnten enttäuscht sein.

Die Preise sind unverschämt und absolut UNVERHÄLTNISMÄSSIG! Das hat nichts mit gestiegenen Kosten zutun sondern mit reiner Gier. Solche Preissprünge sind Mitschuld an unserer Inflation, das finde ich ganz und gar nicht gut!

Die Saucen sind richtig geil, das Fleisch schmeckt jedoch nicht. Hänchenfleisch ist fail, viel zu fettig. Aber Rind mit den Saucen ist die üble Kombi, das schmeckt richtig gut aufgrund der Saucen. Ich hab das Fleisch so probiert und es hat fast kein Geschmack. Einfaches Hackfleischgemisch, Quality ist nicht so gut. Aber schmecken tut es ;)

Wer guten Döner essen möchte, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig. Bestes Fleisch, bestes Brot und frische Salate.

Das Essen hat eine gute Qualität und schmeckt. Wenn genügend Personal vor Ort ist, geht es schnell und die Schlange ist nur von kurzer Dauer. Ambiente völlig okay dafür, dass der Laden meist ohnehin zu voll ist, um vor Ort Essen zu wollen.

Schlechte Qualität nicht preiswert

Ich habe in Bochum einige Döner getestet allerdings kommt keiner an diesen Döner dran. Vom Kalbsfleisch bis zur Soße war der Döner einfach nur super lecker und alles hat zusammen gepasst. Das Größte Lob geht an das Kraut, es war angemacht und dadurch nicht so pur geschmacklos dabei, brachte eine weitere saftige note und einen tollen geschmack. Die Größe und fülle war für Preis/Leistung einfach nur zu empfehlen. Dieser Döner muss man gegessen haben!

Wir waren mit Freunden dort, und es war nicht gerne gesehen, dass man auf türkisch bestellt und geredet hat. Döner war zudem knorpelig und schmeckte nicht nach Fleisch.

Aktuelles Update: Was ist los? Liegt's an den Ferien? Maxi-Döner war nicht wirklich Maxi, von "extra scharf" keine Spur, und geschmacklich irgendwie... langweilig. Das haben wir oft schon viel besser erlebt. Dass meine Frau (viel Salat, weniger Fleisch) dann auch noch Darmkämpfe bekam, lässt auf mangelnde Hygiene schließen! Deshalb zwei Punkte runter, sorry! Vor fünf Monaten: Döner absolut lecker. Leider auch hier teurer geworden.

Sehr guter Standard Döner. Selbst gemachtes Brot, frische Zutaten und krosses Fleisch waren ein Erfolgsgarant. Wer etwas speziell gutes erwartet wird allerdings enttäuscht.

Als die noch kleiner waren war das Fleisch besser. Nicht mehr so lecker wie am Anfang. Meine Empfehlung Dönerladen Hasenwinkeler Straße gegenüber Netto. Die können das!

Auf jeden Fall der beste Döner in Linden. Pommes und Lahmacun auch lecker. Personal immer sehr freundlich, auch wenn es in Stoßzeiten mal zu Wartezeiten kommt.
