For me, Can Döner in Bochum is undoubtedly the best kebab shop in town. I've been coming here for 13 years, whether I lived around the corner or further away – the quality is simply unbeatable. The staff is always super friendly and caters to every individual request. The owner always has a funny saying on his lips, which makes the whole atmosphere even better. If you love real kebabs, you have to come here!

Was there today. 1 doner kebab for 7 euros. The quality was the cheapest of everything. Ready-made bread and cheap onions, nothing special. The meat was the cheap minced meat. I thought the 7 euros was too expensive for the quality. It was a 4.5 out of 10, but I wouldn't come back for the doner kebab. Anyone who rates this place 5 stars and thinks the doner kebab is the best is also happy with Curryking. 😉

Update 2025-05-15 We've been living in Koblenz for a year and a half now. I eat kebabs exclusively at Can Döner in Bochum. I haven't found a snack bar that can compare to Can yet.

Super tasty, super friendly, we are repeat customers

Despite only a few customers ahead of me, I had to wait a full 20 minutes – that's usually how long you'd expect to wait at a restaurant on a weekend. Unfortunately, the food wasn't enough to compensate: A lot of it fell out with the first bite, and the preparation was also rather disappointing. I definitely won't be returning.

I got a kebab box here with one goal. Bringing some culture to the Portuguese! Let's start with the flight. The security check at Düsseldorf airport didn't notice the box without any problems.. or didn't want to.. In any case, I was able to enter Portugal without any problems. The goal was now within reach. After a few gravel paths and unpaved roads I was able to give the box to the target person. Conclusion of the target person: -The vegetable chopper needs to be fired. “Where did you learn to cut!” - The fries were dry. “Where did the sauce go at the bottom?” The sauce is spread like a seagull's shit surface. -Well at least the meat was “lamb and not hands” that’s why it was 5 out of 5 stars! I'll be back! Personal conclusion: everything worked out as planned. Thanks boss

The kebab actually tastes good, but the last two times the two Turkish colleagues with the short stature made the flatbread turn black. The third time I wanted to see the bread and it was black again. I don't know if they both fall asleep or do it specifically, but it doesn't taste like that. I told my colleagues and they were moody afterwards and didn't give me a bag . He wanted 1 euro for a 0.10 cent bag. Ridiculous...the boss should talk to both of them.

It's normal to hit on women and follow them into the car to ask for a "walk." When the answer was that they were not interested and they were taken, the only response was “It doesn’t matter”. Just disgusting and disgraceful. Such people shouldn't be allowed to run a store and should have some decency.

When ordering, my wife and I were asked if we wanted a vegan kebab. I said no to meat. The seller then said derogatory and insulting comments about both of us in Kurdish. He thought I couldn't understand his language. The rude gossip continued until we paid. The guy gave my wife an intrusive look as he walked away. I will never buy anything from you Kurds again. Unfortunately, the clichés are confirmed again and again.

Wir kommen aus Thüringen und waren Gestern in Bochum zu Besuch und hatten Appetit auf Döner/Dürüm. Die Wartezeiten waren erträglich. Schade war das es kein Kalbsfleisch mehr gab. Auch die Tzatzikisoße war mal was anderes, weil wir sonst immer Knobisoße wählen, war aber trotzdem lecker. War alles top. Gerne wieder :)

Ein Potenzial der beste Dönerladen zu werden. Lahmacun ohne alles wahr ganz gut. Hätte aber noch etwas Geschmack haben können, Döner Tasche wahr die Soße sehr gut verteilt worden und das Händchenfleisch ist lecker gewesen. Ich werde mir wieder was da was zu essen Hollen. Leider beim 3 mal nicht so gut wie beim ersten mal und beim 4 mal war das Fleisch, mir und meiner Familie zu salzig das wir nicht aufgegessen haben.

Wiedermal dort lecker gegessen! Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, fühlen uns immer wie bei Freunden. Macht weiter so...Danke!

Für mich der beste Döner Bochums. Nicht nur super lecker, sondern auch noch recht viel - besonders dann, wenn man die Jumbo-Variante kauft. Endlich verstreicht mal jemand sie Soßen im Brot und klatscht sie nicht nur irgendwo drauf. Der Döner trieft nicht vor Fett! On top sind die Mitarbeiter immer sehr nett :-) Man sollte unbedingt etwas Wartezeit mitbringen - immer gut besucht!

Leider wurden Leute die die Sprache sprechen besser bedient der döner sah größer von der Menge aus als bei uns Kortoffel Esser . Schade das es so läuft
