What a shame! We've been there twice now and were disappointed twice. There's obviously something wrong with the kitchen staff. The vinegar and oil on the salad didn't work twice. The usual sauce came out. The pasta was completely wrong and over-baked once, and over-baked again the second time, even though I ordered it without. It's really sad that a small child has to wait another 20 minutes when we parents were almost finished, and no one can tell me that the pasta is freshly cooked every time. The second time we got a lollipop (as an apology?). No, sorry. We really would have liked to give you a second chance, but that's not how it works and we won't be back. The food itself was okay.

I had to change the review to something positive this time; the quality of the food has improved considerably. The prices for a doner kebab or doner kebab plate are unjustified compared to other shops (almost twice as expensive).

We're always very satisfied when we order from "Ümit." We're particularly pleased that once a dish that unfortunately arrived cold was quickly and without any problems delivered. Delivery times are usually even shorter than advertised. Additionally, the staff are always friendly, the location, the counter, and the "pizza bakery" are clean, and the quality, taste, and freshness of the food impress me every time. We ate here for the first time 14 years ago when we were looking at a house, and "Ümit" played a key role in our decision to buy this house. 🙂

Please offer vegan doner sauce is very easy. Season vegan yogurt with all the other things you usually use - perfect

We've actually eaten or ordered there quite often, but things just went bad. The pizza dough just got dry and disgusting... The last three orders had the same problem, so it's not an isolated incident... Add more water and a little olive oil to the dough, and the problem will be solved. Also, everything has gotten much more expensive and less expensive. Last time I had a Dürum, and it was as thick as from a fast-food restaurant with the golden arches. €8 for that is just outrageous! Also, you shouldn't have fries delivered. They're packed in those Styrofoam containers with no hole in them, and you end up with mushy potatoes. When things get better, I'd be happy to go back, but until then, I'll get them from somewhere else. SORRY!

Very cheap meat. Small portions, high prices. It's okay for Waldbröl, but beyond that, it's mediocre to poor quality, with fairly high prices and sometimes stingy portions.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my last visit. The food seemed anything but fresh: the salad was wilted, and the meat had a sour smell, which made me very suspicious. When I tried to complain about this over the phone, they were very rude and unwilling to compromise. I had expected much more, especially given the high prices. Fresh ingredients are a must for me, and unfortunately, that was absolutely not the case here. I hope this was just a slip-up and that more attention will be paid to quality and freshness in the future. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

Super nice and absolutely delicious... When I picked up my food, I was greeted by a polite and cheerful team. The employees were very busy and completely stressed... but they barely let it show. The food was super delicious!!! Always my first choice!!!

I'm pleasantly surprised that the delivery went so smoothly. The pizza was still warm, almost piping hot, and arrived a little faster than expected. And above all, it was delicious! A well-organized delivery service is half the battle ;)

Someone obviously wasn't paying attention in math class. The portions seem to be getting smaller every month, but the prices keep rising. We used to come here quite often, but since the taste has deteriorated considerably, we're avoiding this place. Hello, The food tastes great and the portions are perfectly generous. I managed to eat three kebabs with a friend, which was actually quite a challenge; I definitely couldn't have eaten more. I also have to emphasize the extremely friendly service; I'll be back :)

Food, service, and atmosphere were nice and chic as always. But the prices are just ridiculous. Paying €28 for two kebabs, a currywurst, and a bottle of Sprite isn't right at all... I've known this place for a long time, but that's a no-go...unfortunately.

By far the best döner in the area

I wanted a dürüm with fries, nothing complicated, just fries in a flatbread. As a vegetarian, no big deal, I thought. But the answer was succinct: "We don't do that." No explanation, no interest, no flexibility. There is falafel on the menu, but I know it from there; it's extremely dry, so it wasn't an alternative for me. I didn't want to argue, so I didn't order anything. Customer satisfaction? None. Apparently, what the customer wants doesn't count here. A real shame. There are definitely better and friendlier options in the area to enjoy delicious food.

The kebab was delicious again...we even made a detour because we enjoyed it so much last time. We ate it in the motorhome.

I went to eat at Ümit again after a long time and wanted to see whether the food was better than my last, unfortunately bad, experience. This time I was actually positively surprised by the food. The Ümit pizza was very well prepared and, apart from the extremely thin pizza base, I liked it in every respect. My partner's kebab plate was also well prepared and tasty. The portion is nice and big. Food is already top notch. Nothing has changed in the ambience, still good. The problem here was with the operation. We were welcomed quickly and a waiter came regularly to check whether everything was correct, but after we were finished and handed over the food, the waitress didn't come back to the table to pay. We sat alone in the restaurant for almost 20 minutes. We were only able to pay after asking at the counter. Except for this, the service was very good and courteous. All in all, I can highly recommend Ümit.

Now we will avoid the restaurant. Worse from week to week. Yesterday we waited 90 minutes for the food, with constant questions. And then everyone at the table got it delayed by about 15 minutes. Staff completely overwhelmed and interpret questions incomprehensibly. It is incomprehensible that some guests receive their food after just 5 minutes. Our neighboring table was also just annoyed because the food didn't come. And then the highlight was that it had cooled down a lot and didn't look very appetizing. This has happened to us several times within 2 weeks. We have always enjoyed coming here in the past. The toilets are unclean, the waste is already next to the containers and instead of hand cleaner there is only water in the dispensers. All in all, a complete disaster.

Oh God, what happened to this restaurant? We've always enjoyed coming here over the years, but in the last two months nothing has worked here anymore. Waiting times of over 1 hour for food. The dishes were incomplete, burnt, dry and cold. Staff just talk their way out of it. Differences in service, some guests are given preferential treatment. Just bad, bad, bad. That's not how you introduce yourself to a customer. It's a shame, but after 3 failures in 2 months, we will unfortunately refrain from doing this.

I've been eating here regularly for 25 years! There's still the best kebab sauce here for 25 years!!!! Over the years, the service has always been friendly and accommodating. The boss himself comes to the table every now and then and asks if everything went well! Price-performance? The 1-2€ more compared to others is worth it! I can recommend it to everyone! Keep it up.

Turkish pizza is usually prepared in the same way. Onions are cheap. Dressing and sauces are also used sparingly. The prices have risen, so the price-performance ratio is no longer right.

I moved to Waldbröl from Cologne 2 years ago and was very disappointed with the kebab in Waldbröl. Unfortunately I always look at the reviews, but now I was at Ümit and I have to say the best kebab in Waldbröl (döner plate).

Lots of variety on the food menu. Lots of opportunity to find a quiet place whether outside or inside. Food is very tasty. And friendly staff and above all very patient. It's worth meeting there and celebrating your birthday.

This is definitely the last time I ordered here!!! We just had 3 black curly hairs on the pizza!! Just disgusting!!!

Das Essen schmeckt zwar, aber die Preise sind inzwischen gewaltig. Der Döner ist zusätzlich noch kleiner geworden. Das Fleisch sollte knusprig gebraten sein, war aber gerade mal so durch. Als ich es sagte, wurde zwar reagiert, aber mit was einem Gesicht. Mit der Soße auch sehr sparsam, obwohl extra bestellt. War jetzt schon öfter nicht zufrieden. Punkt, wir kommen nicht mehr. Da kann man wo anders mehr und besser essen. Schade waren Stammkunden.

I was there as a conveted Muslim. I thought everything would be helal. Unfortunately not. I wanted to order schnitzel ala ümit, but the employee said. There was pork and that would also be fried in a fat with the chicken and fries, that's what I liked I lost my appetite. I then had spaghetti with broccoli and chicken strips gratinated. There were no side dishes!! I had to beg for it. And it wasn't well seasoned. I wanted Harrissa or cracked peppers but she brought me a spicy yoghurt sauce and charged it at 2.70 euros. That's awesome!! It doesn't go well with pasta. I was disappointed. And there was beer also, I saw it at the neighboring table. And cola, Fants and Sprite were only available in 0 3l glasses, which was too much for me too.. So I'm very disappointed!!!! Unfortunately only 2 points.. Helal kazanmak baska..!!!

Ümit Grill & Pizzeria truly enchanted us during our short stay. So much so that we dined there at least twice, trying a different dish each time. From the smallest children to the grandparents - each of us was thrilled and full by the generous portions. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a friendly smile and fast, courteous service. The staff was extremely polite and showed great patience when we needed a little more time to make our choice. The cleanliness of the restaurant and the washrooms was impressive and contributed significantly to our feeling of well-being. We would particularly like to highlight the impressive flexibility of the staff: some of us spoke English, and the waitress switched languages ​​to provide us with optimal service - a huge plus in our eyes. Every dish we ordered was not only generously portioned, but also a culinary delight. For the price we received an incredible amount of delicious food. This outstanding service and the exquisite quality of the food made us definitely come back on our next visit. Ümit Grill & Pizzeria is undoubtedly a gem among restaurants!
