Always happy to go there, good beer and delicious, down-to-earth cuisine at a very fair price! Clear recommendation.

Price performance is ok. I had a double-rib cutlet with a lot of meat. I think it should be a 650g cutlet, but the taste wasn't worth a 4th star for me. Little sauce! The service was friendly and accommodating. My wife had pork knuckle with sauerkraut and puree. Eisbein very tasty. Unfortunately, side dishes are not so good. But you should try it. 👍👍👍

Very nice restaurant with an extensive menu. The service is more than helpful, even when the bear is tap dancing and the hut is overcrowded due to celebrations. The ambience is just average and in some corners the charm of a village pub shines through. But that shouldn't be a problem, schnitzel and the like are homemade and don't come from the factory. The portions are generous and the plates are full! You should reserve in advance and avoid the seats in front of the venue, directly on the main street. Otherwise, the noise from cars will lead to communication difficulties. The selection and price of the dishes on offer is very fair and in the average price range. The service, on the other hand, is remarkably good, friendly and very fast. Clear recommendation for schnitzel and the like from me!

Good bourgeois rustic and very good in taste. Large portions and plenty of choice. Very friendly service that takes very good care of you. Beautiful terrace and rustic guest room. All in all, a very decent price-performance ratio and definitely recommended.

We recently dined there with a small group. Everyone had a side salad that didn't appear to have been washed as there was a fair amount of dirt and sand on all the plates. In addition, some of the leaves were obviously wilted. We then pointed this out to the waitress, who reacted quite grumpily, but then we all got a new salad quite quickly, although the salad dressing tasted quite strange, the steaks and schnitzels were okay. After we got new salads, the waitresses didn't really show up anymore. The plates were cleared (the drinks were already empty) and after that we were seemingly out of sight. The waitresses stood behind the counter and chatted, one dried the same glass for several minutes and after waiting for a good 40 minutes and repeatedly showing us that we would like to order something else, we then asked for the bill. That's why I didn't really think the visit was recommended.

We actually enjoy going there often. But every time the food is different. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it doesn't work at all. Last night was another "not possible" evening. We have given the owner feedback soooo often, especially since I have known him for many years. But nothing changes. Warmed sauerkraut in the microwave. Which also comes from burnt leftovers from the pot. There was no mashed potatoes, so the rest was scraped out of the pot. Max. 2 tablespoons, which looked dried out after the microwave. Now it's good. It simply costs too much money for that. We're not going to the chops anymore for now. A pity!

We got a table for 4 people at 6:00 p.m. without prior reservation. The passage area, directly in front of the counter, wasn't the nicest but OK so far since we hadn't pre-ordered. The service was polite and nice. The restaurant was about 30% full and so we were in good spirits to be able to eat here quickly. Anything further was then less acceptable. The menu was handed out after 5 minutes. The request for the drinks was only made after 15 minutes. It took another 20 minutes to ask for the chosen dishes. When choosing the “Double Ribs Kottelet” we were told we would have to wait an additional 45-50 minutes because they require longer cooking times. So I changed the order and made a few requests about the side dishes. After another 20 minutes, two salads came to the table, the allocation of which was left to our imagination. 15 minutes later 3 food at the table fourth person had to wait another 10 minutes. It should be noted that the restaurant, which was no more than 30% occupied, did not fill up significantly during this period. Well-intentioned TIP from disappointed guests: This could be shortened with better advance planning in the kitchen. Just like it was about 8 months ago. Double rib ordered at the table 15-20 minutes later. Deliver food to all guests at a table at the same time. The guests certainly won't mind if the processes between “card at the table and food at the table” are sped up. Not worth another visit for us.

Great service, after I found you on Google, I was looking forward to a chop. There is no website and you don't need to write to Google that it's closed!! Thank you for no service Ah, just saw that now subsequently set to temporarily closed.

Nice in the chops. There is still a real pub atmosphere here. Here you can drink a beer at the bar or enjoy some rustic food. We particularly recommend the cutlets, which are 4 cm thick and deliciously breaded. Lommi from Cologne was definitely the inspiration here.

Ich war das erste mal im Kotelettchen und es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war nicht zu voll und es war eine angenehme Lautstärke. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portion genau richtig. Man war satt, aber nicht überfressen. Ich komme bald wieder.

The food was very good. The only thing I would have to complain about (but that's a matter of taste) is that the nutmeg in the mashed potatoes was too much for me personally. There were 5 of us and we couldn't decide who was right. The service was incredibly good, I have to say. Many people can learn a lesson from this. So I don't really understand the negative reviews because the service staff is really well trained and the food and service are far above many standards. I think the price performance is so good and reasonable The ambience is also a matter of taste, I think it could be a bit more colourful, warm and the pub touch could be highlighted more so that it would look more cozy. All in all, a nice, cozy evening.

Good home cooking at fair prices. The terrace outside is beautifully located and invites you to linger. There is also a bowling alley, which is rather rare these days. On the evening we were there, a new young service worker was being trained, unfortunately the lady who trained her was very bitchy to the young lady. She complained to her several times in front of the guests, which quickly made us feel uncomfortable and we fled early. We gave the young lady enough tips, you definitely shouldn't treat your (new) staff like that. Otherwise clear recommendation :)

Wir waren dort Essen! Ich hatte eine richtig leckere Haxe. Dem an sich guten Kartoffelstampf fehlte es ein wenig an Salz, Muskat war genug dran und bei dem Sauerkraut habe ich den Geschmack von Lorbeer und Wacholder vermisst Trotzdem lecker! Super freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung! Gerne wieder

Mega freundliche Bedienung, sehr aufmerksam und auf das Wohl der Gäste bedacht. Man fühlt sich absolut willkommen. Sehr lecker gegessen zu ganz fairen Preisen. Wir kommen wieder :-)

Anfangs waren da leichte Zweifel, da ich (wir) gewarnt wurden, dass ein Kotelett ca. 40-50 Minuten braucht, aber als der 670-g-Brocken dann herzhaft vor mir duftete, war das klar :-) Ich war mit meiner Mutter da, die sich aufgrund der Masse eines Koteletts lieber ein Schnitzelgericht genommen hat und kann nur sagen, dass wir beide sehr zufrieden waren. Parkplätze sind allerdings schwer zu finden und nicht unbedingt behindertengerecht, aber mit etwas Flexibilität im Kopf und guten Freunden kommt man dann auch locker hin (man wird auch am Telefon nett empfangen...)

Essen war lecker. Personal sehr freundlich. Es gab ausreichend Platz. Sonntag Abend 18 Uhr.

Ich sach nur Lommi Koteletts! Jeder aus der Kölschen Ecke weiß was ich meine. Die gibt's hier auch.

Wir waren gestern, am 12.08.23, auf einem Kinderkonzert und wollten anschließend etwas essen. Wir haben dann Google befragt was in der Nähe ist und sind auf das Kotelettchen gestoßen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen sofort einen Platz mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern. Die unglaublich nette Bedienung (so eine nette Bedienung haben wir schon lange nicht mehr erlebt) kam schon nach kurzer Zeit mit Puzzles und Malsachen an, was die Kindern absolut feierten. Nachdem wir bestellt hatten kam das Essen für die Kinder sehr zügig, damit diese schon mal beschäftigt sind. Einige Minuten später kam unser Essen, inklusive eines 850 Gramm Koteletts. Das Essen war durch die Bank weg super lecker, dass Preis-Leistungsverhältniss sehr gut, die Versorgung mit Getränken war top und alle in diesem Restaurant waren super nett und engagiert. Leider ist das Restaurant 90 Km von uns entfernt, wir wären aber definitiv Stammgäste wenn es in unserer Nähe wäre. Wir kommen aber auf jeden Fall wieder ;)

Das bestellte Essen (2x Schnitzel / 1x Kotelett) war absolut hervorragend. Eine klare Empfehlung. Der Service war hervorragend aber nicht aufdringlich… 👍

Gutbürgerliche Küche (findet man ja leider immer seltener), Ambiente im Brauhaus-Stil, sehr freundlicher & zuvorkommender Service, leckere Speisen in üppigen Portionen frisch zubereitet. Fleisch kommt von einer für seine Qualität bekannten lokalen Metzgerei, alles perfekt mit frischen Zutaten kombiniert und wer mal die Bratkartoffeln mit krossen Speckwürfeln probiert hat, wird dort keine anderen Beilagen mehr essen wollen!

War schon paar Mal dort und haben fast die ganze Speisekarte durch und alles ist echt super lecker

Schmeckt wirklich gut aber das Salatdressing ist absolut nicht meins, hier hätte ich mir mehr Klassiker wie Joghurt oder Essig Öl Dressing gewünscht. Leider gab es nur das Hausdressing. Brrrr, das schmeckt wirklich nur dem der süßen Salat mag...Die Bedienung war wie immer sehr freundlich und das Ambiente ist schön. Wir besuchen das Restaurant gerne wieder aber den Salat lasse ich beim nächsten Mal lieber weg....es sei denn der Koch bietet mehr Vielfalt in Bezug auf das Dressing an!

Kölsche Kneipe erweckt das Heimatgefühl. Sehr herzliche Menschen, schönes Ambiente und super leckeres Essen. Unbedingt den Brauhaus-Toast probieren! (: Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Wir waren gestern zu 4 es war sehr gut besucht. Und waren sehr zufrieden auf die Wartezeit wurden wir freundlich hingewiesen das Personal war freundlich und wir wurden gut versorgt. Das Essen war sehr gut und kommen wieder. Leider haben wir das Verhalten eines Tisches mit bekommen was absulut unangemessen war sich als Kunden so aufzuführen. Das Personal hat mit dem Chef eine sehr freundliche Harmonie. Wir können euch nur weiterempfehlen uns seht ihr wieder.

Eine lautstarke Gaststätte. Ein wahnsinnig dickes Kotelett, aber leider nicht gewürzt. Es schmeckte sehr fade. Der Service war sehr gut.

Wir waren gestern als Gruppe kegeln , einfach Toll Räumlichkeit super. Man wird gut bedient die Speisekarte hat einiges zu bieten. Essen war lecker Service hervorragend.

Tolles Ambiente kölscher Flair, Essen spitze, Service sehr aufmerksam rundum begeistert wir kommen wieder.

Essen ist lecker und die Preise sind angemessen. Das Ambiente erinnert an eine klassische Kneipe, für unsereins also erstmal heimisch. Auf der Kegelbahn kann man noch ein wenig seinen Speck bewegen. Leider hatte man beim Service die wahl zwischen unbeholfen und unbeholfen und unfreundlich.

Wir waren jetzt schon zweimal dort essen und waren jedesmal sehr zufrieden! Das Essen ist zwar gut bürgerlich, aber geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Die Protionen sind seeehr reichlich. Kleiner Tipp am Rande: Auf Wunsch bekommt ihr auch alles als Seniorenteller serviert ;-)

Vor einem Jahr war das Kotelett noch super, heute nicht mehr. Das Fleisch war fest und nicht mehr so lecker wie am Anfang . Am Samstag war das Restaurant leer, das sagt ja wohl alles.

Gute regionale (kölsche) Küche mit guten Portionen. Freundliche Bedienung. Das Lokal hat eher Kneipen- oder Brauhauscharakter. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Für so mal zwischendurch gemeinsam essen gehen, ist das Lokal gut geeignet. Für romantische Stunden zu zweit sucht man eher eine anderes Restaurant aus.

Ich war zu Besuch bei meinem Freund und da ich gerne auswärts esse, hat mich der Name und die Aufmachung des Restaurants neugierig gemacht. Also sind wir zu viert dort hin. Das Essen ist vom Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ok. Beim Schnitzel kann man nicht viel falsch machen, sowie bei Chicken Nuggets und Pommes. Das mega riesen Stück Kotlett war lecker und gut zubereitet. Die Bewertung mit 3 "Sternen" gebe ich nur, da es von der Auswahl, dem Preis und von der Präsentation der Gerichte gut war, aber jetzt nicht ausgezeichnet. Es hat mich einfach nicht vom Hocker gehauen, wie manch´ andere Restaurants, die z.b. einen Schnitzel - Teller super schön garnieren. Wie sagt man so schön " Das Auge isst mit" . Ansonsten war die Bedienung sehr nett. Das Restaurant ist generell weiter zu empfehlen, insbesondere wenn man große Portionen Fleisch mag. ;)
