A little more expensive, but a nice location, nice staff and good food

The first thing you notice is the really friendly staff. The food was very good, but the music was too loud and didn't fit the ambience. Highly recommended.

A very fresh and modern Vietnamese restaurant and probably one of the coolest on Müllerstrasse if not in Wedding... The taste was also excellent for the price.

I was a big fan of Japanese cuisine until I had an unpleasant experience a few years ago due to a new soy allergy. After that, I didn't dare go out for a Japanese meal for years. For fear of getting anaphylactic shock in a restaurant or worse... I've been daring to approach it again for a year now, but I keep having problems in restaurants because of my allergy. Now I was here in the UMI and I was overwhelmed. The waitress took my allergy seriously, advised me when ordering, informed the kitchen, organized a solution and gave me an unforgettable culinary evening. Thank you so much, I'll be back! (Order the taco 🌮 - you'll love it!)

Great service, delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are unusual and something different compared to other Asian restaurants I know. An absolute highlight was the starter with eggplants baked in tempura batter! Absolutely delicious, not too much breading, and something new in terms of aroma! The homemade iced tea is also super delicious! I can only recommend you to take a look! 😃

A great evening! A really nice and comfortably furnished restaurant. The service is extremely friendly and attentive - high praise! The food is also thoroughly recommended. Large selection of starters and small dishes that can be easily combined. The selection of sushi is very large. Many variations with tempura, creative combinations and also classic sushi. Price-performance is great! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options.

I've been here several times. Every time it was delicious and well prepared. The service was helpful and friendly. I particularly loved the edamame with truffle oil! The ambience is so beautiful and surprising. You can sit quietly and comfortably in the backyard. And best of all - there are vegan dishes!

It was incredibly good and delicious! Top service, attentive, friendly and fast. I even ordered more summer rolls. I had some rolls, the “newest sheep in the block” sushi menu and my mom highly recommended the Friends plus bowl, panko eggplant and seaweed salad as a starter.

The tapas were delicious: fried eggplant and veg. Gyzosa, two of the bowls too - but the salmon with rice: dried out. The sodas without alcohol are also very different: I liked Elderberry Sprizz: the Barbara one was questionable in terms of appearance and taste, without any decoration. The decor of the location is interesting - the music is very loud for a conversation between four people.

Umi is an absolute delight! The combination of traditional Japanese cuisine and modern creativity is impressive, the sashimi in particular was to die for. The service deserves special praise - attentive, warm and professional, which rounds off the experience perfectly. In combination with the elegant atmosphere, a real highlight. 10/10!

Really nice shop, I really enjoy being there. The atmosphere is simply cozy, you can sit at the window and enjoy the hustle and bustle outside. The interior design is also very creative and nice to look at, a fun mix between Asia and street style. The food is enriched with great home-grown wild herb salads and they are special dishes, so creative and thankfully not expensive either. Clear recommendation! Service has always been very nice and attentive and not exaggerated, but down to earth

The food was really excellent, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. The cutlery was forgotten several times, so we ultimately had to get it ourselves. The bill also only came after a long wait, so we ended up having to go to the counter ourselves to pay it. An improvement in the service would be urgently needed here.

Delicious food - but unfortunately it's quite small and expensive in relation to the price and quantity. But quality is great!

We were always ordering from UMI x Gendai for take away and this time we decided to visit this Wedding gem. We were not disappointed! The staff is super nice and welcoming and the interior has a fun vibe. The food was always top and it’s great to have such asian fusion kitchen in the hood!

I've been waiting for this place for a long time because I live around the corner and it's the only restaurant between Afrikanische strasse and Seestrasse that isn't an Imbiss. The food is really good and fresh, I like the concept a lot. The modern take on asian fusion is really smart for their young Germans market fit. Service is always courteous and quick.

Two hearts beat in my chest. On the one hand, the ambience - cool and stands out from other similar shops. The card is brightly colored and has cool sayings. And the staff was friendly and always tried to fulfill our wishes. BUT: unfortunately the floor was extremely sticky and the outdoor seating areas were not clean (layer of dust, water on the bench, etc.). And unfortunately the food lacked a bit of spice (and love), the presentation of the food on the plate is good, but unfortunately the taste doesn't quite live up to what the presentation (and the colorful menu) promises. So, stick with it and try to get a little better every day.

It was perfect and tasted delicious

We enjoyed our visit. From outside you wouldn’t guess that inside it’s a hidden gem. We loved the tapas. The main veg dishes were super fresh and healthy. Maybe a bit too healthy. But that means that the Chef don’t use any enhancers;-) the drink were super nice. Also perfect for no drinkers.

Had chicken instead of tofu in my vegan summer rolls! 🤮 Be careful all veggies/vegans!!

Super positive crarasse location. With a crazy menu visually and in terms of offers. We came here for the first time today for the first anniversary of our engagement and it was wonderful. The table was reserved online stating the occasion and they definitely went the extra mile. The service was courteous, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very warm and homey. We will definitely come back again.

The UMI Berlin convinced me in every respect... to the fullest!! It started at the reception. We had a person in a wheelchair with us and without much notice a suitable place was prepared by the very accommodating waiters. In addition, for religious reasons, we attach importance to the meat being Helal and there is also the option (the UMI is Helal certified). The feeling of welcome and tolerance is reflected in the interior design and makes the dining experience very positive. About the food: The sushi was a 10/10. We ordered the “Shira the Vegan Master” roll. The fresh ingredients and the tempura avocado with the topped wakame salad absolutely picked me up. The Alice in Chinatown with the crispy duck has an intense umami taste with a nice consistency of the udon noodles. Absolute recommendation from me. I can highly recommend the store. Not the last time I was there.

My absolute favorite Asian cuisine in Berlin! The dishes are super creatively designed and taste 10/10! The employees are always super super nice and the atmosphere is extremely cozy! Recommended at any time and for everyone!! Always my pleasure!

The taste is great as always! However, the portion, especially the sushi pizza, has basically been halved. Pretty disappointed. Hence 3 stars.
