Really very tasty ramen, the best I've eaten so far, the dangos (eaten for the first time) were also very great. We really enjoyed it and we will definitely come back again!

Unfortunately the food is nothing special, we ordered many different ramen and none of them were particularly good. The ramen soup doesn't have any particular depth of flavor and doesn't seem to cook long beforehand. But the service was really very attentive

Food: I could experience their Sakuraspecial and decided for udon noodles. With the sweet flavor of the cherries and a bit of spice it was very enjoyable. The dessert was freshly made and combined sweet and sour perfectly. Service: the service was friendly and had no problem with extra wishes. Food was brought to table quickly. Atmosphere: calm and comfy and very welcoming.

We were in the mood for ramen and were very hungry after a city tour of Dresden. We got a table straight away, the service was very friendly, brought us the menu straight away and took the order quickly. The food was delicious and the quantity was just right. The dessert, the cherry chia pudding, is a dream. The mocktails are also worth seeing and tasting. Highly recommended 👍

The "Tonkotsu Ramen" was based on chicken broth instead of pork broth. It's also on the menu, but I didn't notice it before - because it's completely absurd. What's particularly special about Tonkotsu Ramen is that the broth is based on pork bones that have been boiled for around 10 hours or longer and is very tasty. The broth here, however, tasted bland and was served lukewarm. It's obviously NOT original Japanese food. I suspect that neither the owners nor the staff are Japanese. I recommend everyone to go to a restaurant with Japanese ramen and eat Tonkotsu Ramen, for example at "Umami" in Stuttgart or better yet "Ichiran" in Japan. This is something completely different and absolutely delicious. Two stars because the atmosphere was nice and the service was very friendly.

What kind of taste explosion was that? I thought I'd treat myself to some ramen - and boom, I'm sitting in the middle of a parallel culinary world. The broth? So profound, Freud would have had great fun with it. The noodles? Perfect bite, as if little Japanese grandmas rolled them by hand. Staff super friendly - one of them almost charged my phone because I couldn't control my power bank game. Inside it looks like a mix between a manga fever dream and a design award winner, really cozy. In short: Umaii is addictive. I'll be back - and I'll be hungry.

Anyone who knows real ramen or has ever been to Japan will not be happy here. No recommendation! I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen. The portion size is about 20% smaller than usual and you still pay the full price (over €16!). The soup had neither an intense taste nor a good consistency. And it was only lukewarm! The noodles were thin, soft and tasted more like soba... at least they were hot. Very disappointing. The toppings were okay. Pak choy was crunchy, the menma was well seasoned, and the shoyu egg was cooked just right, although it could have used a shot more shoyu. The meat (pork neck and pork belly) tasted good, but was very thin and wasn't fried again. 2 slices were even slightly pink?...

I ate here on Saturday and the ramen and gyozas are very tasty and there is a large selection. But above all I would like to praise the great service! Miriam and Ha in particular were very, very friendly and accommodating! This made my visit all the more enjoyable. I will definitely come back.

Food unfortunately far away from delicious... Buns are given with slices of cold chicken and ramen brot tastes like made only from soya sauce ... I do not recommend.

I chose Tonkotsu Ramen. However, the taste was comparable to a packet noodle soup, the noodles were overcooked, and the pork belly had an unpleasant consistency. The Goma Kyuri we ordered was simply a cucumber cut into rough slices and the dressing poured over it. Definitely not Japanese-style ramen and generally not good food.

Great ramen and good advice if you're still unsure. It tastes super delicious and you'll definitely be full afterwards. There is also gluten-free ramen for those affected. Great, we'll be back.

The food was very tasty. A friend of mine had the Surf and Turf Ramen and I had the Tonkotsu Ramen. You have to keep in mind that it is a bit more expensive here, because you are in the middle of the old town of Dresden at the Frauenkirche and the restaurants are generally a bit more expensive.

The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and helpful. Due to an intolerance, I had to make sure that this ingredient was not included in the food. To be on the safe side, the staff did everything they could and specifically asked suppliers about it. I haven't often experienced so much initiative. Thank you very much for that and I'll be happy to come back.

During my recent visit to Umaii Ramenbar in Dresden, I had the pleasure of trying their chicken gyoza and matcha aisu kurīmu (green tea ice cream). The gyoza were pan-fried to perfection, boasting a crispy exterior that gave way to a juicy, flavorful chicken filling. The accompanying dipping sauce added a delightful tang that complemented the dumplings beautifully. To conclude my meal, I indulged in the matcha aisu kurīmu, which was a refreshing and bittersweet treat. The distinct earthy notes of the matcha were well-balanced with the creaminess of the ice cream, providing a delightful end to the dining experience. I highly recommend both dishes to anyone visiting Umaii Ramenbar.

I just ordered ramen for delivery, the taste was okay, but nothing more. Broth was a bit weak and for €18 the portion size was really disappointing. When you consider that delivery costs around six euros, it's almost cheeky. I wouldn't order this again! Delivery time took 1 1/2 hours on Monday lunchtime!

The sandwich was wrapped in too much plastic and didn't taste like chicken. Just rice and chili. I was shocked that it wasn't served on a plate. The dumplings were delicious, too. I came here again just for the ramen, and I highly recommend it. I enjoyed the dango ramen and especially the dumplings and baby corn.

Zunächst waren wir erstaunt, das in einem asiatischen Restaurant in der Abendschicht nur ein Asiate im Team ist. Das ist für asiatische Restaurants ja eher ungewöhnlich. Das Angebotene ist trotzdem Japan Pur (und wir können das beurteilen :) und von auszezeichneter Qualität. Die Ramen sind authentisch, die Vorspeisen sind excellent. Der Service is flott und freundlich. Fazit: Klare Empfehlung

!!!You spilled the dishes!!! I was there in the summer of 2024 and the menu was completely different. A wide variety of ramen and reasonable prices. Now the menu has changed. The selection is boring, the prices are expensive. When the dishes were brought, my friends and I were very surprised: the portions were smaller, the soup was watery and my chicken was half raw! The noodles are overcooked. Only the waiters were able to remedy the situation. The staff was friendly and helped with selection and allowed me to charge my phone. I am very grateful to them. But the food is disgusting

There are a few starters - we tried the chicken gyoza and the homemade tempura, as well as a selection of different ramen with different broths as a base. The food was served super quickly and tasted delicious. The portion is very generous and you will definitely be full. It is also possible to order extra chili.

Das Essen hier ist durchschnittlich – weder besonders gut noch wirklich schlecht. Die Ramen waren in Ordnung, aber haben mich nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht und funktional, ohne besondere Highlights. Der Service könnte definitiv freundlicher sein, die Kellner wirkten eher desinteressiert. Insgesamt ein unspektakuläres Erlebnis. Wenn man gerade in der Nähe ist und Hunger hat, kann man hier essen, aber einen Umweg würde ich nicht machen.

Umaii Dresden is easily one of the best ramen spots I've ever been to-easily in my top three, and that's saying something since I've been stationed in both Japan and Korea. I arrived alone during a busy time without a reservation, yet the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite the rush, the service was excellent-efficient but never rushed, and always welcoming. The food itself was nothing short of a culinary wonder. The ramen had a rich, perfectly balanced broth that showed real craftsmanship. Every topping was cooked to perfection, complementing the dish without overpowering it. If you're a ramen lover, Umaii Dresden is an absolute must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back! My Order: Tonkotsu Ramen Gyoza Dorayaki

The staff was very unfriendly and seemed very irritable. The waiter was only at the table for a short time and didn't ask us if we wanted anything else. Unfortunately a very bad experience.

We've been eating here every few months for several years. Unfortunately, the map now appears to have been 'optimized'. Chicken tempura was no longer served with the usual salad. A distinction is now only made between vegetable broth and chicken broth when it comes to ramen. We ordered the second one, but it had a very mild/watery taste. However, I found the foam on the ramen with udon strange. I don't think these were rinsed off (but the taste wasn't noticeable). The ramen without udon looked normal. The drinks were also compromised. Generally fewer ingredients. All in all, you had the feeling that savings were being made everywhere, for about 2 euros more per dish. Only the service was courteous and friendly and the atmosphere was appealing.

Unfortunately our visit here was disappointing. The ramen had little flavor and seemed more like water with a bit of broth. The starters and main courses were served at the same time, which left the impression that they were prepared very quickly. The fried noodles were okay at the beginning, but toward the end a strange liquid collected on the plate that didn't taste good. Due to the location it seems more like a tourist restaurant with inflated prices. If you're looking for authentic ramen, you probably won't find it here.

A cool location! Although ramen is no longer uncommon in Dresden, for me Umaii stands out due to its design and selection. There are both meat and plant-based versions of ramen and other dishes as well. The menu option for 26 euros is well worth the price if you have the time and hunger. The only drawback for me are the hard chairs, so the ambience is deducted.

It's great that Umaii also offers vegan and vegetarian ramen, which is what made us want to go there. The ramen was good, but the broth still lacked a bit of flavor depth and complexity. The Yakisoba, on the other hand, was really very successful. The service was friendly and quick. We would have liked a little more privacy in terms of ambience, as the tables are quite close to each other. The price is closer to the pain threshold for the quality and quantity. If you spontaneously feel like ramen or yakisoba, you'll definitely find what you're looking for here.

No sabía nada como el ramen que conocemos de Tokio, Düsseldorf, Heidelberg o incluso la cocina casera. Fideos flácidos que NO eran udon y caldo que estaba bien como sopa pero carecía del sabor y la cantidad típica de verduras. La gyoza era sosa y flácida también. No auténtico.

We were in this restaurant for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised. About 25€ for a 3-course menu, which you can choose yourself with starter/main course/dessert, is really not bad. The food was really great and very tasty and you didn't have to wait long. The staff was very friendly. The toilets were clean and the whole place was very nicely decorated. I felt like I was in beautiful Japan. What was just a bit uncomfortable was that you were sitting very close to strangers. I felt like I was being watched quite a bit and you could actually hear everyone's conversations. However, there was a lot of free space in the toilets and it could have been spread out, but that won't stop us from coming back. It was very tasty and we would like to come back again.😊

We stopped in for dinner after a whole day of walking around Dresden. The atmosphere and service are pleasant. The view from the window is beautiful. Service was quick. But the dishes are not entirely Japanese in composition. For example, instead of (handmade) noodles, regular spaghetti. Overall it was tasty and edible, but if you call yourself a Japanese restaurant, follow the traditions! We ordered ramen, yakisoba and beer. Prices are average for a tourist place.

Today I went out for ramen again after a few months. I was really looking forward to the ramen, but unfortunately the menu has changed. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Dresden, but today I was very disappointed. Unfortunately, I didn't like the ramen as much as before. I'll look for another ramen restaurant now. ☹️ But the service was very good, as always.

Super delicious food, everyone can find something. The atmosphere is a bit airy, a bit more privacy at the table would be desirable.

Unfortunately, the food is mediocre. The bun was hard and rubbery, the "marinated" cucumbers were not marinated, and the ramen tasted like everything but ramen - more like a classic stew. Even the hot sake was barely warm. Umaii cannot offer any competition to the famous place with numbers in its name.

So what is that? I was there for lunch today, the waitresses are very nice, no question, but that's about it. I ordered ramen with chicken. Afterwards I was told there was no more chicken. Still had to pay full price! And the soup was disgusting. I'm now at home with a stomach ache! Could have just ordered a bottle of soy sauce. Didn't taste anything except soy sauce. Considering it's so popular, it's absolutely terrible... except for the one waitress who was really nice.

The food here was absolutely fantastic and served surprisingly quickly. The staff was extremely friendly, and in combination with the loving design of the restaurant, our visit became a real highlight of the day. The chicken tempura in particular was a taste experience - so delicious that we couldn't get enough of it. An all-round successful visit and highly recommended! ☺️

Totally exorbitant prices for a main course that passes for a starter elsewhere. A main ingredient was missing, but it wasn't replaced, anyway same overpriced.
