UDET´S BAR - BISTRO - CAFE in Sankt Augustin

Haben hier heute zum ersten Mal Burger und Kalbsschnitzel bestellt - es war wirklich sehr, sehr lecker! Die Portionen sind ziemlich groß, das Essen war heiß und professionell verpackt. Probiert es unbedingt mal aus, sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Lieferung war schnell und das Essen noch heiss. DIe Schnitzel und Pommes waren super lecker, auch die Sosse. Dazu gab es Salat, der auch schön bunt gemischt war, nur die Salatsosse war nicht mein Fall(aber das ist ja Geschmacksache) Der Preis war für Größe der Portionen auch top. Ich würde wieder bestellen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit Biergarten, einer ganz tollen Bedienung und unfassbar leckeren Burgern. Sehr empfehlenswert 👍🏼

Eine sehr kompetente & sympathische Bedienung, vor allem Alice und Sandy ;) Ich fühle mich jedes Mal -während der Rundflüge mit unserem Hubschrauber- bei euch im Restaurant herzlichst willkommen. Ich habe gerade über den Lieferservice bestellt und es ist alles reibungslos abgelaufen. Das essen kam zügig und heiß und lecker bei uns zuhause an! Können wir nur weiterempfehlen!!!

Etwas ungewöhnliches, aber wahnsinnig nettes Restaurant. Das Essen ist lecker, auch wenn die Portionsgröße schon gewaltig ist, aber zum Glück kann man die andere Hälfte einpacken lassen. Das Servicepersonal ist super sympathisch und die beiden jungen Damen (Anna und Miriam, wenn ich mich recht erinnere) haben mich sehr kompetent beraten und sich sehr viel Zeit genommen und dafür gesorg, dass ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt habe. An ruhigen Abenden definitiv ein guter Ort zum runterkommen und entschleunigen, gerne wieder! Einziger Kritikpunkte ist die Auswahl der Gerichte, die vegetarischen Optionen sind weder seperat aufgeführt noch als solche gekennzeichnet.und etwas mehr Auswahl würde auch nicht schaden. Wer vegane Gerichte sucht, wird hier leider definitiv nicht glücklich.

We had reserved a table for today. I called specifically because we were a bit late. We had planned to eat there. Upon arrival, after what felt like 20 minutes, our drinks order was taken and we were told that the menu had been reduced. The service was abysmally poor; we didn't feel welcome as guests, so we didn't eat there.

If you want to go out to eat with kids, this is the place to be. In my opinion, it's one of the top 10 places in the Cologne/Bonn area for a relaxed meal with kids (if you can sit outside ;) ).

As an airport restaurant, better than many large ones.

We ate here with our daughter, as I had fond memories of the restaurant from earlier times. Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong went wrong. The ambiance has suffered considerably, the food is okay, but used to be much better. What was really bad, however, was the service. The ladies were completely overwhelmed. It took us 30 minutes to order drinks – and that was only because we were loudly making ourselves heard. After another 20 minutes, we were finally able to order our food, so we were there for almost an hour before things started to get going (or so we thought). The drinks took 20 minutes to arrive at our table – a bottle of beer and a bottle of Coke! The food took a whopping 1 hour and 30 minutes. The excuse was that everyone had ordered at the same time. There were only 10 people in the restaurant, 6 of whom already had their food and were only drinking coffee. I advise everyone not to eat here – the service is abysmal, and the food was only okay.

Very tasty burgers, schnitzel, and steak. Excellent quality. Great view of the airfield and practically a playground for the kids. Better to make a reservation during peak times. And bring some time.

Generally speaking, it's a really nice place, and the food is delicious. But the service is terrible. It takes a while before you're even noticed or served. Today, we left the place after 20 minutes because no waiter came.

The food is very good, the service very friendly, but a bit slow. The beer should only be drunk from bottles. The draft beer was warm. Still, a nice stop after the helicopter ride. A nice playground for children.

Nice, cozy beer garden with sunny and shady places with a great view of the airport. The food is excellent. There is a larger selection of burgers, several salads, pasta dishes and other little things. There is also a small selection for children and there is also a playground right next to the beer garden, which is very popular with younger guests. We've always been lucky and gotten a place without a reservation. But it often became very crowded very quickly. A reservation can therefore be worthwhile.

We were here for breakfast and took the first class breakfast. This is highly recommended. Rich. Tasty and the price-performance ratio is good. Only when it is very full does it quickly become very loud, which is annoying in the long run. The service is very friendly. It's nice that you can also look at the planes taking off.

Embark on something new... An ideal place for families with small children to combine food and a playground. From the restaurant's outdoor area there is direct access to the public playground, which in turn is located directly at Hangelar Airport, so that the children can watch the sports aircraft taking off from behind the safe, high fence. Your own time pressure and desire for completely correct service are rather counterproductive here. But as a parent, if you decide to leave the children after your own meal in the partially easily visible playground, which is completely fenced in (but there is also another gate to the outside that children can open), you will be rewarded with a fairly relaxed meal of your own. If in doubt, just try it out without prejudice and get involved. It's worth it...

The service was nice and friendly... Food still has room for improvement... especially the salad buffet. Italian burgers have ingredients that don't belong there... What was really bad was that the whole dining room smelled like a chip shop and was filled with smoke, my eyes burned and my clothes still stank the day after. And then you had to wait half an hour for the burger, and we were the only guests... Summary... only in summer to sit outside and enjoy a drink... There is still a lot of room for improvement

I have never eaten such bad Kaiserschmarren as I did there. Inedible! Finished product that has neither eggs, butter nor sugar. Absolute impudence to sell this for almost EUR 14.00. But the owner doesn't care. I emailed them before the assessment.

Service wasn't very friendly. A smile costs nothing. The food took forever, even though there were hardly any guests there. Burger tasted like frozen. Quantity quite manageable. There is still no salad bar. Please adjust map. Very drafty through the sliding door to the terrace.

Sehr nette Bedienung mit viel Charme, leckeres, frisches Essen und für ein Flugplatzrestaurant sehr schönes Ambiente. Der Koch hatte Urlaub, aber es gab eine „abgesteckte“ Karte mit fünf Gerichten. Wir wählten den Kaiserschmarren und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Schmeckte so lecker wie in einer Almhütte. Wir kommen wieder! 👍🏻🤩

Even though I asked via email, there was no response. Nevertheless, I was there for the appointment. The waitress could still arrange everything. Very high quality food at a reasonable price. Opportunity for children to play. Nice location in an interesting place.

Nice smaller restaurant with an adjacent playground. You can directly see the small. Planes take off and land. Unfortunately the restaurant is only open on weekends. But always the playground. If you like burgers, this is the place for you, but there are other dishes too.

The schnitzel was not with a large breading. Relatively expensive there and I still had a stomach ache from the schnitzel two days later.

Have lived in the area for 30 years and have only now discovered Udet's in Hangelar. We like to have the big breakfast twice for the 5 of us, it's plenty and super tasty 😋. And the good soul of the shop, Renate, is truly unique and really great 🥰. We'll try the evening menu soon.

We were there for the first time last night. The food was delicious (we both had veal schnitzel) and the two girls from the service were great too. Very attentive, every now and then we would ask if everything was okay or if we would like something more to drink. We will be back definitely :)

Unfortunately, less than 1 star was not possible. We waited for 20 minutes without even seeing a waiter, then we left the table, which was covered in dried bird droppings, even after we saw that the guests who had come after us had already gotten their drinks. That was our last visit.

Bistro right at Hangelar Airport. Here you can have a drink and watch the planes and helicopters take off and land. It's nice to go here with children. There is a playground right next to the bistro's outdoor area. When the weather is nice, the children can play there and see airplanes, while the parents can relax on the terrace of Udet's ;-)

The veal schnitzel is really great

The small restaurant right at Hangelar airfield with a view of sports aircraft taking off and landing and right next to it a great playground for the little ones. I recommend the breaded veal schnitzel fried in butter.

We went to udet's for communion today for a pre-planned lunch. Unfortunately, lunch came in stages until 4 p.m. Waiting 3 hours seems a bit much to me.

I can't rate the food because we only had something to drink. We asked if there was anything vegan, but other than yes we were not given any further information. In fact, we only saw vegetarian food on the menu. We found everything a bit unfriendly and the service seemed a bit overwhelmed. All in all, we won't be coming back!

We celebrated a baptism here with 24 adults and 2 children. The service was just super friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and you could choose from the menu depending on the number of people. The weather was nice so that the terrace could also be used and the children could use the playground or watch the planes take off and land. A great location for young and old.

Went to the restaurant for a piece of cake (recommended) and coffee. Even though it wasn't busy, the staff wasn't the fastest. It's definitely still in the learning phase. I'll be back when the big beer garden opens and I'm looking forward to a burger.

Eigentlich ein tolles Restaurant. Inhaberin ist aber nicht sehr freundlich.Kein koffeinfreier Kaffee,("kommt mir nicht ins Haus !!). Speisen sind aber sehr lecker. Leider zu selten geöffnet . Hätte sonst gerne 5 Sterne gegeben. War aber auch deswegen schon länger nicht mehr da.

First Class Frühstück ist wirklich First Class, sehr reichhaltig und schmackhaft. Wir waren zu Dritt und haben 2 Portionen kaum geschafft....sehr freundlicher Service, tolles Ambiente.

Ein schönes Lokal mit tollem lauschigen Garten direkt am Flugplatz Hangelar. Das besondere an der Speisekarte ist die große Auswahl verschiedener Burger.

Schöne Location, besonders zum draußen sitzen! Direkt am Sportflughafen gelegen, gibt es immer was zu sehen. Angrenzend gibt es auch einen Spielplatz für die Kleinen. Essen ist immer prima und gute Portionen zum angemessenen Preis. Wir sind schon oft dort gewesen und kommen sicher noch einige Male wieder! Auch vom Verein haben wir schon einige Sommerfeste mit Grillbuffet dort gefeiert - immer top! Vielen Dank an Ralf und seine Crew :-)

Direkt neben dem Flughafen haben wir einen schattigen Platz auf der Terrasse bekommen. Unser Mittagssnack war lecker und der Service war sehr freundlich.

Toller Biergarten mit Blick auf den Flugplatz. Es ist schwierig gutes Personal zu finden. Das ist den Betreibern hier allerdings gelungen. Mit Charme, Herzlichkeit und Witz blieben uns im Rahmen des Möglichen keine Wünsche unerfüllt. Auch das Essen ist den Ausflug zum Flugplatz wert.

Das Udet's ist von der Lage her super für einen Familienausflug. Der Service allerdings sehr unaufmerksam und leider teils total unbeholfen. Bis wir dann mal bestellen konnten (sind dem Kellner dann 2x hinterher gelaufen) und wir dann etwas zu trinken bzw. später das Essen bekamen, vergingen 40 bzw. 60 Minuten. Bei 3 Servicekräften plus Chef hinter der Theke ist das ein NoGo. Zumal nur 5-6 Tische belegt waren.

Erste Bestellung kam Direkt zweite Bestellung kam nicht mehr an unserem Tisch an und wurde beim gehen lapidar mit einer Minimalen Endschuldung abgetan......

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen mindestens ausreichend für ausgewachsene Männer! 👍 Das Lokal grenzt direkt an dem kleinen Sportflugplatzt und bietet auch schöne Aussensitzplätze und einen herrlichen Kinderspielplatz der aus einem großen aus Holz nachempfundenen Flugzeug besteht. Also, alles in allem; sehr empfehlenswert!

Mit Abstand die Besten Burger in der Region. Leckeres Kölsch im schönen Glas gibt es auch noch. Service immer nett und hilfsbereit.

Heute zum ersten mal Udet´s besucht - wir waren positiv überrascht. Parken direkt vorm Restaurant möglich. Der Eingang ist leider nicht barrierefrei. Mehrere Stufen hoch und runter. Im Eingangsbereich des Restaurants steht ein Desinfektionsmittelspender mit dem Hinweis, dass dieser auch benutzt werden soll. Allerdings hat das Gerät keine Funktion... Die Speisen sind sehr gut zubereitet und auch sehr lecker. Klassische deutsche und italienische Küche. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind im mittleren Bereich. Wir werden das Restaurant wieder besuchen :-)

Ich war am 22.10.22 als Gast da und ich hatte schon lange keinen so leckeren Burger gegessen. Alle Gerichte waren sehr gut, die Salatbar frisch und bot eine gute Variation. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Wirklich feines Lokal, schmackhafte Gerichte und sehr zuvorkommendes Personal! Ob für Groß oder Klein: hier ist für jeden was dabei! Top!

Essen war sehr gut! Nettes Personal, tolles Ambiente. Der Blick auf die Startbahn lässt die Zeit verfliegen.

Die Anfahrt über eine mehr als schlechte Straße (dafür kann das Udet´s nichts) führte uns zu dem Gebäude wo im Erdgeschoß das Udet´s ist und dadrüber wohl eine Flugschule. Der Eingang ist einfach einfach, das Restaurant besteht aus einem Raum mit Blick auf den Flugplatz sowie eine Außenterrasse. Jeder zweite Tisch wegen Corona gesperrt - Der Startschuss viel mit einem Prosecco gefolgt von einer warmen Tomatensuppe, im Anschluss konnte man sich einen Salat an der sehr kleinen Salatbar zusammenstellen - dazu gab es auf Desserttellern Streifen vom Kalb, das Hauptgericht bestand aus einem Stück Rinderfilet mit Deko und Pommes. Qualität vom Fleisch top - Zubereitung leider ne glatte 6 - gewünscht war Medium, geliefert wurde fast roh und kalt!!! Info an die sehr nette Bedienung welche Sie an die Küche weitergeben wollte. Die Variante etwas mehr als Medium für meine Partnerin war wärmer und ok. Der Nachbartisch hat weder das Fleisch noch den Burger gegessen und haben das Lokal noch vor der Nachspeise verlassen. Die Auswahl der Nachspeise war gut und auch die Qualität. Getränke, Wein und Wasser paßte. Hier ist definitiv noch richtig Luft nach oben wenn man es will - scheint mir aber eher nicht so. Ein weiterer Besuch kommt für uns aber nicht in Frage.

Anlässlich einer Kommunionfeier hatten wir uns das Udet's ausgesucht. Bereits im Vorhinein gab es einige organisatorische Probleme sowie unbeantwortete Mails. Nach mehrfachen Absprachen dann sollte einiges geklärt werden und wir hofften auf einen schönen Tag. Das Essen war in Ordnung, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Das Kalbsschnitzel war allerdings sehr fettig und mächtig, Vorspeisen und Salatbuffet eher fad. Wir hatten Glück mit unserer Bedienung, die wirklich sehr freundlich und bemüht war, allerdings aufgrund des geringen Personalaufkommens teilweise mit Bedienen und Abräumen nicht hinterher kam. Ein nächster Besuch kommt für uns höchstens wegen des angrenzenden Spiel- und Flugplatzes für ein Getränk in Frage.

Wir waren zum wiederholten Mal im Udet's und EIGENTLICH würde es uns dort sehr gut gefallen, aber leider scheint das sehr nette Personal total überfordert, die linke Hand weiß nicht, was die rechte macht. Offensichtlich ein Organisationsproblem? Der Chef anscheinend hat andere Prioritäten, als einen brauchbaren Arbeitsplan aufzustellen. Schade. Unsere Bedienung hat jedenfalls alles gegeben, so dass wir nochmal einen weiteren Besuch "wagen" werden. Hoffentlich nicht zum letzten Mal...

Vor einem Jahr hatte mein Mann und ich durch Zufall das Udet's Bar Bistro Cafe mit einer tollen Außenterrasse entdeckt. Von dort hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Flughafen. Seitdem gönnen uns - öfters mit Freunden - am Wochenende das First-Class-Frühstück für 14,50 €, was sehr reichhaltig ist. Der Service ist - trotz teilweisen großem Andrang - immer sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter verbreitet sie durch ihre lustige Art ein Wohlgefühl, ganz im Sinne von Ernst Udet, der ein humorvoller Mensch war. Vielen Dank an die Servicekraft! Wir kommen immer sehr gerne wieder!
