TV Restaurant Rheinau in Mannheim

No dogs, no card payments. ...then just leave us alone. Addendum: new operators now, no experience yet.

We have been there several times since it reopened. Good, varied and inexpensive cuisine. Unfortunately it is served on cold plates, so the food is not always 🔥. Friendly and courteous service.

We went to the TV Restaurant for the first time with 4 people and were quite satisfied. The ambience can still be worked on but the food was really good. We had rum steak and cordon bleu with fried potatoes and French fries, which were all very fresh and also tasted convincing The degree of doneness of the rum steak was perfect. We were surprised by the range of Indian dishes that we will try next time. The price/performance ratio is very good and the service is very nice. We'll definitely be back. Update 2 weeks later On the second visit you can only speak of disappointment. First there was no more rum steak at 7 p.m., then a schnitzel came that was beaten to death - very, very, very thin - and dry. The cordon bleu was partly fried black and the Indian dishes lacked pizzazz, because not everything is spicy. I hope it was just the chef having a bad day. The service was again very friendly. I'm taking one away from the original 4 stars. The pictures are from the first visit.

Apparently they're unable to read. Their mailboxes are being inadvertently filled with junk mail.

So I was at the restaurant on August 24th, 2023 with a friend and my dog. We were sent home very rudely and there were no tables available even though there wasn't much going on in the restaurant. Today on August 28th, 2023 I found out from someone that no dog is allowed in. Why can't you say it would have brought him home. We won't be going to this restaurant again, which is a shame because there are very few restaurants in Rheinau anyway.

Honestly, this restaurant was a chance discovery! We were cycling and were hungry. After eating there, we can only highly recommend it. Very friendly service and delicious food. My husband had the Holstein schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad, and I had the butter chicken with basmati rice. They're great at both German and Indian cuisine! And it's also worth mentioning that they've kept their drinks prices down to earth. Keep it up, they're on the right track.

The TV Restaurant Rheinau, the new club restaurant of TV Rheinau 1893 e. V., is highly recommended. German and Indian cuisine, a pleasant and clean ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious food. A great combination that invites you to come back often. Keep it up! With the nice weather, the small beer garden is also a pleasant place to relax.

My new insider tip when it comes to traditional Indian food. Family business with home-made cuisine. I had the butter chicken and it was absolutely the best thing I had in Mannheim and the surrounding area. Recommended to everyone ❤️

Erstklassige Speisen, sehr zuvorkommende und liebevolle Bedienung. Faire Preise. Große Portionen. Hier fühlt man sich einfach Willkommen.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Im Biergarten sitzt man schön ruhig, dort gibt es auch einen eigenen Spielplatz. Das Restaurant bietet auch einen Nebenraum für private Feiern, Sitzungen oder ähnliches an. Außerdem gibt es 4 Kegelbahnen die man mieten kann. Vor dem Restaurant gibt es reichlich Parkplätze! Nur zu empfehlen!

Top Essen zu guten Preisen, endlich mal wieder ein Super Italiener in der Nähe. Man kann Ristorante Roma einfach nur zu Empfehlen!!!

Ganz ok, begeistert mich aber nicht. Vegetarisches Angebot ist mikrig.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen dort essen... Alle Speisen waren sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Zunächst war die Frage, ob die Rheinau wirklich einen weiteren Italiener benötigt. Nach einem Besuch in diesem Restaurant kann ich das nur mit einem klaren JA beantworten. Tolles Essen, vor allem die selbstgemachten Antipasti. Schönes Flair, auch im Biergarten mit kleinem Kiefernwäldchen. Ich komme definitiv wieder.
